No one broken in anyway is beyond God's reach. You can get rejuvenated as long as you surrender your past to the lord.

It is in the place of humble prayer and a deeper connection with the Word of God that we receive the power we need to minister in every capacity.

No matter what you're going through or where you are, God is still in the picture. No matter the battles you're fighting, he's still in the story. The story may not be desirable now, but it will surely be.

A QUEST TO DISCOVER GOD

Isaiah 55:6“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near.”

To seek means far more than simply looking for something. It carries the idea of searching diligently, pursuing intentionally, and longing deeply to find what is most valuable. Seeking is not passive or occasional; it is an active quest of the heart. God has always honored this kind of pursuit, promising, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). The Christian life, therefore, is not meant to be lived at a distance from God, but in continual pursuit of deeper fellowship with Him.

Throughout history, explorers have captured the imagination of the world. Men such as Christopher Columbus, Ferdinand Magellan, Sir Francis Drake, and James Cook ventured across dangerous and unfamiliar waters in search of discovery. Their journeys required courage, endurance, and determination, as they set out to uncover what lay beyond the horizon. While many sought new lands, routes, or riches, their efforts remind us of the human desire to pursue something greater than what is immediately visible. In an even more profound way, God calls His people into a lifelong journey of spiritual discovery—a quest not across oceans, but into the depths of knowing Him.

As believers, we are invited into the daily habit of seeking God with intentionality and devotion. Unlike worldly pursuits that fade with time, seeking the Lord leads to treasures that are eternal. Jesus instructs us, “Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven” (Matthew 6:20), reminding us that true riches are not found in material gain but in spiritual communion with God.

In Christ are hidden wonders beyond measure, for Scripture declares, “In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3). The more we pursue Him, the more we discover that God Himself is the greatest treasure. Isaiah’s invitation is both urgent and hopeful: “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near” (Isaiah 55:6). This verse assures us that God is not distant or unreachable. He is near, attentive, and ready to respond when His children call upon Him in sincerity. The psalmist affirms this truth, saying, “The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him” (Psalm 145:18). God does not hide Himself from those who desire Him; rather, He welcomes the seeker with grace.

Just as explorers relied on maps and compasses to guide their journeys, God has provided spiritual means through which we seek Him. Prayer is one of the primary ways we draw near, as we are commanded to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). The Word of God is another essential guide, for “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). Through Scripture, meditation, worship, and quiet fellowship with the Lord, we grow in understanding of His character and experience His presence more deeply.

The pursuit of God is never empty or wasted. Jesus Himself gave this promise: “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find” (Matthew 7:7). Those who genuinely seek the Lord will encounter Him, often realizing that He was closer than they imagined all along. In seasons of weakness or trial, His promise remains steadfast: “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5). God meets His people not only in moments of joy, but also in hardship, revealing His power and faithfulness.

To seek the Lord is not merely a religious duty; it is the greatest adventure of the soul. It is a journey that transforms the believer from within, shaping character, deepening faith, and producing hope that overflows into the lives of others. As we discover God more fully, we begin to reflect His light more clearly, fulfilling the words of Christ: “Ye are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14). Seeking God changes us, and through us, God touches those around us.

Let your heart be set on this holy quest today. Choose to seek the Lord with sincerity and devotion. He is near, waiting to be found, ready to reveal Himself to all who pursue Him. The journey of discovering God is one that never ends in disappointment, because the seeker always finds that the greatest treasure is the Lord Himself. AMEN!

Scripture: Psalm 118:8 – “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.”

In life, we often rely on others for guidance, support, or assistance—whether it’s making important decisions, navigating major life changes, or managing financial needs. While seeking help is not wrong, we must be careful not to place our full confidence in people. Doing so can cause us to miss out on God's divine plans and abundant blessings. After all, human beings are limited and can disappoint, but God is always faithful and unchanging.

The psalmist reminds us clearly: trusting fully in God leads to outcomes we will never regret.

At the heart of it, leaning on God brings far greater rewards than placing our hope in people. He is dependable and never fails. People may mean well, but they can’t always be consistent. So yes, let us seek counsel and accept help when it’s available—but above all, let us commit every plan, need, and desire to God in prayer, trusting that He is more than able and always faithful to grant the desires of our hearts. Amen!

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help us to trust You above all else. Teach us to rely on Your faithfulness and not lean solely on human support. May we commit our plans and desires to You, knowing You are able and willing to bless us. In Jesus' name, Amen.
