The master in the parable never defended himself, the servant called him hard, reaping where he didn't sow, the master just let that belief expose itself. We do the same with God. Like Adam, we accuse him, without ever understanding his heart, David, Samson, Jacob, rule-breakers, every one. Grace still pursued them. Not because it didn't cost them, but because his commitment to them was never about their performance. Peter didn't figure out who Jesus was. It was revealed to him, every message about Jesus, that's from God, every message about image, wealth, tradition that's man.
