- Why do some boys become angry, addicted, or violent men? Why does parenting feel so hard even when you’re “doing everything right”? In this conversation on Stand Up For The Truth with Mary Danielsen, we talk about fatherlessness, marriage, and the very different—but equally valuable—roles of men and women in the home.

As Jesus rode into Jerusalem, He was fulfilling a promise and revealing Himself as the Messiah.

I was a drug addict, an alcoholic, and living a life of crime from a young age. By the time I was a teenager, I was already deep into drugs, violence, and trouble with the law. Nothing could change me. Programs couldn’t fix me. People couldn’t reach me.
I WAS LOST
Then one day, after getting out of jail, I went right back into that life. I flew across the country to restart a drug operation—and everything went wrong.
During a deal, I was brutally attacked. I was pistol whipped, beaten with bats, pipes, and left for dead.
I was pronounced DEAD ON ARRIVAL
But Jesus had another plan.
I was brought back… and placed into a 40-day coma. My injuries were so severe that doctors removed one-third of my brain and told me I would never walk or talk again. But after 40 days… I woke up.
And the first words out of my mouth were:
Thank You Jesus
Not anger.
Not confusion.
Gratitude.
Because I knew—I shouldn’t be alive.
God restored me. He healed me. He taught me how to walk again, talk again, and live again.
But more than that—He saved my soul.
He took a man who was dead… and gave him life.
He took a drug addict… and made him a pastor.
He took someone the world had written off… and sent him across the nations—Africa, Uganda, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Belize—to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This is not my story.
This is what Jesus does.
He saves.
He restores.
He calls.
He sends.
If you feel too far gone… you’re not.
If you feel broken… He restores.
If you feel like your life is over… Jesus is just getting started.
Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose
.
IF JESUS DID IT FOR ME…HE CAN DO IT FOR YOU!

The United Kingdom and Europe, together with many other nations of the world have turned away from You and have sunk into grievous sin and depravity. We deserve your punishment indeed but if we receive what we deserve then who could stand? Please have mercy on us and deliver us from the rising power of Islamists who are flooding into our lands and seeking to violently attack and eventually dominate our societies in the name of their false religion. We particularly pray for the young girls and women who they have violated and exploited. We know that Your Word says that lawlessness will increase but please have mercy and do not allow Islam to subjugate us. May you alone be glorified and your servants delivered.
Thank you Lord, in Jesus’ name, Amen0 Comments 0 Shares 33 Views1
- Grace and Peace to our Lordsbook Family,
We want to share an important update with the community.
All previous Official Prayer Groups and Prayer Pages have now been unified into one place called The Prayer Wall. All past prayer groups and pages are now simply part of The Prayer Wall, and all prayers posted there are automatically approved so we can quickly lift one another up in prayer.
We lovingly urge and ask all members to keep the Prayer Wall respectful and Christ-honoring:
• Please do not share inappropriate content
• Please do not ask for money
• Please do not request husbands or wives
• Please continue to post real prayer requests so we can lift up a brother or sister in need
Let us keep the Prayer Wall a place of faith, encouragement, and intercession, always remaining in compliance with our community rules and standards as we pray with and for one another.
You can now visit the Prayer Wall here:

- Remember What the Lord Has Done
Scripture
Joshua 4:6–7 (NKJV)
That this may be a sign among you when your children ask in time to come, saying, What do these stones mean to you Then you shall answer them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever.
Do Not Forget God’s Faithfulness
Joshua chapter 4 takes place immediately after Israel crosses the Jordan River on dry ground. God commands Joshua to have twelve stones taken from the riverbed and set up as a memorial. These stones were not decorative. They were intentional reminders of God’s power, faithfulness, and deliverance.
God knew something about the human heart—we forget. Over time, miracles fade into memories, and gratitude can turn into complacency. The memorial stones were meant to provoke questions from future generations so that the story of God’s mighty work would never be lost.
This chapter teaches that remembering is an act of faith. When we intentionally remember what God has done, our faith is strengthened, our trust is renewed, and future generations are taught to rely on the same faithful God.
For believers today, Joshua 4 reminds us to mark the moments when God moves. Testimonies matter. Stories of deliverance matter. What God has done in your life is not just for you—it is meant to strengthen others and point them to Him.
Reflection Questions
1. What has God done in my life that I need to intentionally remember
2. Am I sharing God’s faithfulness with others, especially the next generation
3. What spiritual markers can I set to remind myself of God’s work
Prayer
Lord God, thank You for Your faithfulness and mighty works in my life. Help me to remember what You have done and to never take Your goodness for granted. Teach me to share Your faithfulness with others so that Your name is honored from generation to generation. In Jesus name, Amen.0 Comments 0 Shares 13 Views1
