“Judah and Tamar: God’s Grace in a Messy Story”
Introduction
Genesis 38 may seem like a sudden interruption in Joseph’s story, but it plays a vital role in God’s plan. It focuses on Judah, one of Jacob’s sons, and his daughter-in-law Tamar. The chapter reveals moral failure, deception, and sin — yet it also displays God’s redeeming grace at work in broken situations.
