Day 2 of VBS starts in just a few hours!

Prayer Request: that the kid in my crew that has severe anxiety is able to partake in the fun a little more today. She's such a sweetheart, but that anxiety is holding her back.

VBS day 1 done! So much fun and I have been blessed with such a great group of kids in my crew!

3 weeks out! Trainings and final touches are taking place!

VBS prep continues!

Despite being sick, I dealt with the recycling, made breakfast, did dishes, unclogged toilet that toddler clogged & am now baking muffins for the kids.

I could have chosen to be miserable about it all, but instead I chose to thank the Lord for the privilege to serve my little family.

Trying to shop for a baptism gift for my brother-in-law is proving to be harder than I thought.

Heat wave warning means I will be taking the kids to a spray park with some friends from church who are also homeschoolers.

God’s handiwork is everywhere, and this beauty is such a sweet reminder of His love and glory

The only part of Lordsbook that annoys me is that it seems almost no one posts about their lives.
Like posting a verse is all well and good, but also I want to know the ways you worship the Lord in your day-to-day.

VBS prep in full swing!

My day with my children started at 5am. Full of energy at 5am. Yet I am grateful for the hot cup of coffee in my hand and for the strength the Lord gives me to make it through.

This morning, my toddler demanded I spend the service in the nursery with her. Sometimes that's just how it needs to be.
