New updates! We have implemented new technology to find scammers and remove them from our platform... If you experience anything suspicious, PLEASE report them right away. You can do that simply by the three dots on their banner. It will help us to keep Lordsbook safe!

Simple rules...
1. No one is allowed to ask for your contact info, or other social media accounts. That is usually an attempt to isolate you. Stay on Lordsbook, unless you know them personally.

2. Scammers usually have some high sounding career like a General in the Military, or Engineer on an oil rig. This is to set the stage as to why they cannot meet with you in person, or might not talk for a few days.

3. They are usually 'widowed', but at least single or divorced.

4. They have something in their photo that pulls on your heart, like a puppy or flowers.

5. Check their 'Followings' in their profile... See if they are following an abnormal amount of one sex, and if that number is WAY higher than followers.

There are more, but use your gut. Even if you even suspect a little bit of misconduct, PLEASE report them right away. We will do the research to see if they are a threat. If not, it's ok. We would rather have it reported to be sure.

Another scam to look out for and report if you see it.

I had a 'Pastor' from a poor country, who had a very good profile and pics of his 'church'.
He was extremely polite to the point of being fake. He insisted I give him my number to get on whatsapp. The excuse was that he wanted me to teach him about God. Even after I sent my entire teaching channel on youtube, he still insisted on another platform. I informed him 3 times he cannot do that, and that I would not. Yet he continued.

Needless to say, he was reported and banned.

Do NOT be afraid to report someone no matter how good the profile looks. The team will look much deeper and take appropriate actions.

They are easy to spot! very handsome/beautiful pics and no sooner they chat you up and lure you with excuses to get off this platform, that's sign number 1 of a scammer! Report them then block !them!

I've had more than one person approach me to chat, and suddenly, they're having issues with their app, so they can't keep up with what's being said, or what ever excuse they want to use, and want me to go to WhatsApp, or Telegram, or any of other chat apps, as long as they can get me off of Lordsbook to talk "more privately". It's all to try to pull a scam. It's not just once in a while, either. EVERY TIME they want you to go to a different chat app, they want to pull a scam. Report them as soon as they try to get you off Lordsbook. They WILL be blocked. And it's not easy for them to get back on, either.

Just so everyone knows... There is a little settings icon on the bottom right of the page you are one in Lordsbook... You can use it to block messages, shut off chat, etc...

This is a scammers message... We are going to implement where you can choose NOT to have anyone message you unless they are your friends, or approved by you.
But keep an eye out for words like these... ( these are the actual pictures he posted for verification, lol )

He was reported by me AND HAS NOW BEEN BANNED. He was NOT from USA - He was a Nigerian criminal !
DO NOT SEND MONEY OR DETAILS OF BANK ACCOUNTS to individuals. Support reputable National / International Christian charities and organizations / missionaries approved by your church.
