- Maturing in Christ isn’t about saying the right things.
It shows up in what you stop entertaining,
What you laugh at?
What you listen to?
What do you tolerate?
What you walk away from?
The world says, “life is short, enjoy it.”
But hide the truth that:
"Eternity is long. Prepare for it"
A lot of what people call “living”
is just seeking validation in ungodly ways.
Attention. Approval. Desire.
Doing things you know aren’t right,
just to feel seen, wanted, or included.
Thinking ill of others, twisting the Word of God to justify yourself, calling compromise “grace” and confusion “freedom.”
You don’t “fit in” anymore,
because you were never meant to.
At some point, you realize:
you can’t carry God and still carry the world.
“Adulterers! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”

Please log in to like, share and comment! - When God led Lot's family out of Sodom, the instruction was simple: don't look back.
Lot's wife looked back and became stuck in the very thing God was trying to save her from.
How many of us do the same?
We romanticize old relationships that drained us.
We miss people God removed.
We revisit places, patterns, and habits that delayed our growth.
Not everything you miss is meant to be recovered.
Some things were left behind so you could move forward.
My prayer is that whenever you're tempted to return to what God has already delivered you from, the Holy Spirit reminds you why He led you out in the first place.
Trust God's direction more than your nostalgia.

- For a long time, I thought faith meant simply showing up, helping, giving, loving and trusting that the love you offered would be remembered.
But the world keeps score differently.
People often remember what they received, not the heart that gave it.
Then I started looking more closely at Jesus.
He healed people who later disappeared.
He fed crowds who still doubted Him.
He loved people knowing some of them would walk away.
And He kept loving anyway.
That’s when I understood:
Faith was never about being valued by people.
It was about loving like Christ and trusting that God sees everything.
So when they said “Go where you are valued,”
I didn’t run toward approval.
I ran to GOD
the only place where love is never wasted.
“Your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

It says,"Know them by their fruit."
Their fruit is how they treat people when there's nothing to gain, how they act when no one is watching, what follows them wherever they go.
A good tree doesn't need a marketing team.
And a bad tree can't hide behind good words forever.
Sooner or later, character becomes visible.
Pay attention to patterns, actions and character.
Because what people consistently do is far more revealing than what they repeatedly say.
“By their fruits you will know them. Does one pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?”

- If you've been feeling guilty for creating distance, let this be a reminder:
Not every relationship is yours to carry. Not every battle is yours to fight. Not every person is yours to convince.
Because sometimes obedience looks like boundaries. Sometimes peace looks like distance. And sometimes love looks like walking away.

- Our words linger longer than we think.
Our actions leave marks we never see.
The truth is, every one of us has probably been the villain in someone else's story at some point.
That's why conviction is a gift.
If God brings a person, a conversation, or a memory to mind, don't ignore it. Pray. Reflect. Apologize if you need to. Seek forgiveness where possible.
Not because you're perfect. Not because they're perfect.
But because we are called to love people in a way that points them toward Christ, not away from Him.
“Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
