EUPHORIA Devotional (The spirit of joy, an ecstasy that comes from God) September 1, 2025 CREATE, SUSTAIN AND CHANGE WITH YOUR WORDS REV. AROME E. TOKULA Genesis 1:3 - Then GOD SAID, “Let there be light”; and there was light. It is important as a believer that you always maintain a constant confession of God's Word on your lips because the creative ability of God is in you as His child and it is unleashed through the words you speak. God through His Words brought everything we see into existence! He said, “Light be,” and light was! This same ability is in you! Glory to God. Through faith, we bring *things* from the “unseen’” realm into the ‘seen’ or physical realm. Invisible doesn’t mean ‘nonexistent’ rather it means imperceptible to the senses. The things that are seen *do not* come from things that can be seen (visible) rather they come from (or are made) of *things* that are not seen! This means that there are *things* that we cannot see but are existent and we can bring them into the seen realm through the vehicle of our words. (Hebrews 11:3) This is how God brought everything we see into physical manifestation. When we speak, we are bringing things from the realm of the unseen into the realm of the seen because we are assured of them even though our physical senses may not perceive them! God doesn’t speak only to create; He also upholds or sustains *all things* by His Word! (Hebrews 1:3) As a child of God, *use your words* creatively and *sustain everything* by the right words that you speak. Stop saying things you don’t want to see because your life is constantly going in the direction of your words. Joshua 1:8 says, “This Book of the Law shall not DEPART FROM YOUR MOUTH, but you shall MEDITATE IN IT DAY AND NIGHT, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then YOU WILL MAKE YOUR WAY PROSPEROUS, and then you will have good success.” To ‘meditate’ in the English dictionary is to ‘ponder' or ‘think’ which is not only reasoning but, in Hebrew, it means ‘to mutter (speak slowly) under your breath.’ It means to speak forth under your breath! The opposite of it is to ‘murmur!’ Christian meditation isn’t *thinking,* it is *speaking!* Whatever it is you are in faith for, it could be healing, finances, deliverance, marriage, etc., take the Word of God in that area that you are believing for and keep saying or muttering them under your breath because the healing, finances, deliverance, marriage are real in the realm of the spirit. When you meditate on God’s Word, you (not God) will make ‘your’ way prosperous! keep declaring words because your words are creative tools for manifestations! DECLARE Thank you, Father, for your creative ability in me. I boldly take everything that is mine in Christ Jesus. I speak to every negative situation and command it to change in the Name of Jesus!
