Remember His Benefits

Psalm 103:2 (NKJV)

(Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.)

Forgetfulness is the enemy of gratitude. David commands his soul to remember—because
remembrance fuels thanksgiving. Every blessing recalled renews praise.

In Week 4: Thanksgiving & Praise, we’re reminded that gratitude requires intentional memory. When
we count our blessings, we strengthen our faith. Each remembrance becomes a reason to rejoice.

Reflection Questions:

1. What blessings have I forgotten to thank God for?

2. How can I make gratitude a daily habit of remembrance?

3. What testimony of God’s faithfulness can I share this week?

Prayer:

Bless the Lord, O my soul! Thank You for Your unending benefits and mercies. Help me to remember
all You’ve done and to praise You continually. Amen.

Practical Application:

● Create a “Forget Not” list of blessings to review daily.

● Share one story of God’s faithfulness with someone today.

● Begin journaling five blessings every night before bed.

Takeaway Thought:

Remembered mercy renews gratitude—forgetfulness fades faith.
