SCRIPTURE PRAYER: MATTHEW 6:25–34
“Father,
You are the God who gives life to my body and breath to my soul.
You remind me that life is more than food and the body more than clothing.
I repent for worrying about what I will eat, what I will drink, or what I will wear.
You told me clearly: do not be anxious — and I choose to trust You.
You feed the birds of the air, though they do not sow or reap,
and You said I am worth far more than they are.
So I declare today: I am valuable in Your sight.
No amount of worry can add a single hour to my life,
so I lay down anxiety that produces nothing.
You clothe the lilies of the field with beauty and glory
greater than Solomon’s wealth,
and You promised that You will surely clothe me as well.
Father, increase my faith.
I refuse to live like those who do not know You.
You know what I need before I ask.
You are not unaware. You are not distant.
Today I choose to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness,
trusting that all these things will be added to me
according to Your will and timing.
I place tomorrow in Your hands.
I will walk in obedience today
and trust You for what I cannot yet see.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.”
