The Kitchen Newsletter

The Kitchen explores, prepares and serves the contents in the Body of the Word as the delicacies of God — to create the form of the Father on earth, to make the earth in His likeness, and to take charge of the economic destinies of nations for God.

Relax, and let us journey through the Scriptures to see the Body of the Word.

In Revelation 1:12–17, John the Apostle encountered Jesus Christ on the island of Patmos. What he saw was not merely a symbolic figure, but the Living Word of God revealed as a person with a full body. John described His eyes like blazing fire, His feet like glowing bronze, His voice like rushing waters, and His face shining like the sun in all its brilliance.

This revelation is profound because it shows us that the Word of God is a living person and is the image of the invisible God.

Hebrews 1:3 declares:

“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being.”

The responsibility of Jesus Christ has always been to reveal the Father. John 1:18 tells us that no one has seen God except the Son who is at the Father’s side and has made Him known. Even today, Christ continues to reveal the Father through His body — the Body of the Word.

The invisible God has been made visible in Christ.

Every detailed description of the Body of the Word in Scripture is a revelation of the person of Jesus Christ. These descriptions are not random symbols; they are divine representations meant to unfold the nature, desires, glory, and personality of the Father.

Jesus Himself said in John 5:39:

“These are the Scriptures that testify of Me.”

This means every revelation in Scripture ultimately points to the person of the Word.

One of the most striking descriptions John gives is this:

“His eyes were like blazing fire.”

This blazing fire is not merely physical imagery. It is a spiritual description revealing the aggressive hunger, deep longing, and intense passion of the Father. Throughout Scripture, divine fire is associated with consuming desire and holy hunger.

Isaiah 30:27 says:

“His tongue is a consuming fire.”

The Body of the Word as blazing fire reveals that the Body of the Word of God is the aggressive hunger of the Father — the one and only food before Him continually.

Jesus said:

“I am the Bread of Life.” — John 6:35

In Exodus 25:30, God commanded that the Bread of the Presence be continually before Him. This bread prophetically reveals the Body of the Word as the eternal satisfaction before the Father.

The Body of the Word is therefore not only the revelation of God, but also the eternal delight of God.

This mystery continues into the revelation of the altar and the fire of God.

In the Tabernacle of Moses, there were two major altars:
• The altar of burnt offering
• The altar of incense

The common factor between both altars was fire.

Leviticus 6 commanded that the fire on the altar must never go out. This fire represents the Body of the Word of God — the eternal hunger and passion of the Father continually burning before Him.

Then we see the altar of incense.

The incense burned before God was a sacred fragrance made from specially selected spices according to God’s own formula in Exodus 30. This fragrance filled the atmosphere of God’s presence.

The incense represents the contents of the Body of the Word.

Song of Solomon 4 describes the body of the Beloved as filled with myrrh, saffron, cinnamon, frankincense, and every precious spice. These fragrant spices are prophetic pictures of the treasures hidden within the Body of Christ.

The fragrance in the presence of God comes from the revelation of the Body of the Word.

The incense, the altar, the fire, the bread, and the fragrance all point to one reality:
The Body of the Wordt — the Living Word — the image of the invisible God.

As these revelations unfold, they produce light and understanding within us. They reveal the glory of the Father in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:6 says:

“For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.”

May the Lord continue to unveil Himself to us through the Body of the Word.

Amen.
