Grace: The Most Expensive Free Gift You'll Ever Receive
Grace is the most expensive thing you can ever receive, and you don't need to pay a single penny for it. Grace is not that God forgave us even though we messed up. Grace is that God forgave us while we were still messing up, while we were still undeserving, while we were still far from Him. Grace is that God loved us not because we were good, but because He loved us, we became good.
But some people misunderstand grace. They think grace is permission to live comfortably and do whatever we want. That is a big mistake. When true grace enters the heart, it changes behavior. Not because of fear of punishment, but because of gratitude for love. As Scripture says, "For the love of Christ compels us."
Faith that does not translate into actions is dead faith. Grace that does not produce mercy in you for others is not real grace. Today, look around you. Who needs a kind word, a simple helping hand, or even a hug? The grace you received freely, give freely. That is faith in action.
