Your Faith Grows When You Love Those Around You
How do you know your faith is growing? Not by how much knowledge you have. Not by how many prayers you pray. But by how you behave with the people around you. Scripture says clearly: If someone says "I love God" but hates his brother, he is a liar. Faith without practical love is not real faith.
Growth in faith means your tongue becomes kinder. Your heart becomes softer. Your hand becomes more generous. Your patience increases with the people who annoy you. It is not easy. But the Holy Spirit is working in you to do exactly that. If you have stayed the same for years, then you need to examine yourself. Growth is not optional in Christianity. Growth is natural if the Holy Spirit lives in you.
Today, ask yourself: Am I a better person than I was last year? Are my relationships healthier? Am I still as quick to anger as I always was? Not to feel guilty, but to see if the Holy Spirit is working or not. And invite the Holy Spirit to start working in you from today.
