MY BROKENNESS WASN'T THE END OF MY STORY.
I was broken...
Broken by bad choices. Broken by pain. Broken by betrayal. Broken by addiction. Broken by things I never thought I would survive.
But then Jesus stepped in.
He didn't wait for me to be perfect.
He didn't wait for me to have it all together.
He didn't wait for me to clean up my mess.
He chose me anyway.
When others saw my failures... Jesus saw my future.
When others saw my scars... Jesus saw my purpose.
When others gave up on me... Jesus never did.
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." тАФ Romans 5:8
Maybe you're feeling broken today.
Hear me clearly:
Your mistakes are not bigger than God's mercy. Your past is not stronger than God's grace. Your brokenness is not beyond God's healing.
Jesus still chooses people the world counts out.
And He still chooses YOU.
