*SERMON: THE LAND OF MORE THAN ENOUGH*
*Text: Leviticus 20:24* – _“You will possess their land; I will give it to you as an inheritance, a land flowing with milk and honey.”_
*[INTRO]*
God didn’t bring Israel out of Egypt to leave them in the wilderness. He brought them out to bring them IN.
Egypt = bondage. Wilderness = survival. *Canaan = more than enough.*
Some of you are saved but stuck in survival mode. Today God says: _“I’m taking you to your inheritance.”_
*1. MORE THAN ENOUGH IS A PROMISE, NOT A SUGGESTION*
_“I will give it to you as an inheritance”_
*Deuteronomy 8:7-9* – _“For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land… a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing.”_
*Ephesians 1:11* – _“In him we have obtained an inheritance”_
*Psalm 16:6* – _“The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.”_
*Truth:* God doesn’t do “just enough” for His children. He’s El Shaddai – the God of more than enough. *John 10:10* – _“I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”_
*Application:* Stop praying for Egypt-level provision when God promised Canaan-level abundance.
*2. MORE THAN ENOUGH HAS A DESCRIPTION: MILK & HONEY*
_“a land flowing with milk and honey”_
*Milk = Sustenance, daily supply*
*1 Peter 2:2* – _“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up”_
Milk means you won’t just survive – you’ll be nourished, strong, growing.
*Honey = Sweetness, enjoyment*
*Psalm 19:10* – _“sweeter also than honey”_
*Proverbs 16:24* – _“Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul”_
Honey means life won’t just be full – it’ll be sweet. Peace, joy, rest.
*Truth:* God doesn’t just want you fed. He wants you fulfilled. *Psalm 23:5* – _“My cup runs over.”_
*Application:* Don’t settle for bread and water when God promised milk and honey.
*3. MORE THAN ENOUGH REQUIRES POSSESSION*
_“You will possess their land”_
God said _“I will give it”_ but also _“You will possess”_. *Divine gift + human responsibility.*
*Joshua 1:3* – _“Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you”_
*Deuteronomy 2:24* – _“Begin to possess it and engage them in battle”_
*Truth:* Promise ≠ Automatic. Israel had to fight giants to take Canaan *Numbers 13:33*.
*James 2:17* – _“Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”_
*3 Enemies of Possession:*
1. *Fear of giants* – *Numbers 13:31* _“We are not able to go up”_
2. *Wilderness mentality* – *Numbers 11:5* _“We remember the fish we ate in Egypt”_
3. *Disobedience* – *Leviticus 20:22* _“Keep all my decrees… so that the land will not vomit you out”_
:* What “giant” is keeping you from your inheritance? Debt? Fear? Sin? *Romans 8:37* – _“In all these things we are more than conquerors.”_
*4. MORE THAN ENOUGH IS ROOTED IN SEPARATION*
Look at *Leviticus 20:23-24* context: _“You must not live according to the customs of the nations… I am the Lord your God, who has set you apart”_
*2 Corinthians 6:17* – _“Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord.”_
*James 4:4* – _“Friendship with the world means enmity against God”_
*Truth:* You can’t live like Egypt and expect Canaan results. Holiness is the address of abundance.
*Malachi 3:10* – _“Test me in this… see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven”_
:* What “Egypt habit” do you need to leave to enter your milk and honey?
*Ephesians 3:20* – _“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine”_
More than enough is not about greed. It’s about God’s glory. When you have more than enough, you become a distributor, not just a consumer. *2 Corinthians 9:8* – _“God is able to bless you abundantly, so that… you will abound in every good work.”_
Canaan wasn’t just for them. It was for their children, and the nations. Your more than enough has a purpose beyond you.

Father, I thank You that Egypt is not my portion. The wilderness is not my home. You brought me out to bring me into a land of more than enough. Today I repent of a survival mindset. I break agreement with lack, fear, and small thinking. I choose to possess my inheritance. Let my life flow with milk – strength for every day – and honey – sweetness in every season. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
