The older you become, the more you realize that peace is one of the greatest blessings God can give. A peaceful mind is worth more than constant applause. A peaceful heart is worth more than temporary success. A peaceful home is worth more than public admiration. Don't sacrifice your peace trying to impress people who were never responsible for your happiness. Some blessings don't make noise. They simply allow your soul to breathe again.

* PRAYER:*
Father, thank You that peace is a gift, not a goal I have to chase. Tonight I exchange applause for Your approval, stress for Your rest, noise for Your quiet waters. Guard my mind, calm my heart, settle my home. Let every blessing You’ve given that doesn’t make noise – health, safety, sanity – speak loud in my spirit tonight. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
