God Can Use Your Story (Mark 5:19)

Have you ever looked at your past and wondered how God could possibly use your story?

Maybe you've made mistakes.

Maybe you've experienced disappointment.

Maybe you've walked through seasons of pain, confusion, or failure.

But your story is not useless.

Jesus told a man whose life had been transformed:

“Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how He has had mercy on you.”

You don't need to have a perfect life to tell people about Jesus.

You simply need to share what He has done for you.

Your testimony can give hope to someone who feels hopeless.

Your journey can encourage someone who is struggling.

Your experience of God's grace can help someone understand that they are not beyond His reach.

Don't be ashamed of where God brought you from.

Your past may be part of the message God uses to reach someone else.

Tell people how Jesus gave you hope.

Tell them how He strengthened you.

Tell them how He forgave you.

Tell them how He changed the direction of your life.

You may not know every Bible verse.

You may not have all the answers.

But you know your story.

And when you share it with humility and truth, God can use it to point people toward Christ.

Your testimony is not about making yourself the hero.

Jesus is the hero.

Your story is simply evidence of His grace.

Today, ask God for an opportunity to tell someone what He has done in your life.

Someone may need to hear your story to believe that Jesus can change theirs.

Who can you share your testimony with today?
