• PRACTICE PATIENCE

Christian Living — Live for Christ

In a world where everyone wants results quickly, patience is a powerful way to reflect the character of Jesus.

    Colossians 3:12
“Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”

Patience means choosing grace when people frustrate you, staying calm when things take longer than expected, and trusting God when you don't have all the answers.

It doesn't mean accepting injustice or never speaking up. It means responding with wisdom instead of reacting in anger.

You may not control what happens around you, but with God's help, you can choose how you respond.

    Your challenge today:
When someone tests your patience, pause before responding.

Take a breath. Pray for wisdom. Speak gently instead of reacting in anger.

Choose one situation where you can practise patience today.

    Prayer:
“Lord, teach me to be patient with others and with myself. Help me remain calm when I'm frustrated and trust You when life doesn't move at my pace. Let my responses reflect the character of Christ. Amen.”

    Remember:
Patience is not weakness. It's strength under God's control.

Question: What situation tests your patience most, and how can you respond more like Jesus?

  • WALK IN HUMILITY

Christian Living — Live for Christ

True greatness isn't about proving you're better than others. It's about following the example of Jesus, who served others with humility.

    Philippians 2:3–4
“In humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”

Humility doesn't mean thinking you have no value. It means recognizing that your gifts, achievements, and opportunities are not reasons to look down on others.

A humble heart listens, admits mistakes, accepts correction, serves without seeking attention, and gives God the glory.

Jesus didn't come to be served, but to serve. We are called to follow His example.

    Your challenge today:

Do one act of service without seeking recognition.

Listen before responding. Admit a mistake if necessary. Give someone else credit for their contribution.

Ask yourself: “Am I trying to prove myself, or am I trying to reflect Christ?”

    Prayer:

“Lord Jesus, teach me to walk in humility. Remove pride from my heart and help me value, respect, and serve others. Let my life reflect Your example in everything I do. Amen.”

    Remember:

Humility isn't weakness. It's strength guided by love and shaped by Christ.

Question: What is one practical way you can demonstrate humility today?

  • CHOOSE FORGIVENESS

Christian Living — Live for Christ

Forgiveness is one of the clearest ways we reflect the heart of Jesus.

    Ephesians 4:32
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Forgiving someone doesn't mean pretending the hurt never happened. It means choosing to release bitterness, revenge, and resentment—and trusting God with the situation.

Jesus has forgiven us, and He calls us to extend that grace to others.

    Your challenge today:

Think of someone who has hurt or disappointed you.

Ask God to help you release the bitterness. If appropriate, take one step toward forgiveness or reconciliation.

You don't have to forget the lesson to release the anger.

    Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, thank You for forgiving me. Help me forgive those who have hurt me. Heal my heart, remove bitterness, and give me the grace to respond with love. Amen.”

    Remember:
Forgiveness doesn't change the past, but God's grace can change your heart toward it.

Question: What makes forgiveness difficult, and how can God help you choose it?

  • LIVE WITH LOVE

Christian Living — Live for Christ

Christianity isn't only about what we believe. It should be seen in how we treat people.

    John 13:34–35
“Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

Jesus calls us to love—not only our friends, but also people who are difficult to understand, disagree with us, or have hurt us.

    Love can look like patience.
    Forgiveness.
    Kindness.
    Listening.
    Helping.
    Choosing grace instead of revenge.

    Your challenge today:

Think of one person who needs to experience Christ's love through you.

Send the message. Offer forgiveness. Help them. Encourage them. Pray for them.

Do one intentional act of love today without expecting anything in return.

    Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, teach me to love people the way You love me. Remove selfishness from my heart and help my words and actions reflect Your love. Amen.”

    Remember:
The world should be able to see something of Jesus in the way we love.

Question: Who can you show Christ's love to today?

  • GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES

The Next Step — Discipleship: Grow in Christ

We started this journey by learning to grow closer to Jesus. Along the way, we learned to pray, read Scripture, become like Christ, live out our faith, discover our purpose, serve others, and help people grow.

    But discipleship doesn't end here.

    Matthew 28:19–20
“Go and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Jesus didn't call us only to follow Him.

He called us to help others follow Him too.

Your next step may be encouraging someone, sharing the gospel, mentoring a new believer, serving your community, or simply living faithfully before the people around you.

    Your challenge today:

Choose one person you can intentionally invest in.

    Pray for them.
    Encourage them.
    Share God's Word.
    Walk with them.
    Help them grow.

    Then ask yourself:

“Who is God calling me to help take their next step?”

    Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, thank You for walking with me through this journey. Help me continue growing in You and use my life to help others discover, follow, and grow in Christ. Give me courage to make disciples wherever You place me. Amen.”

    Remember:

The 30 days may be ending, but the journey is not.

Keep growing. Keep serving. Keep sharing. Keep making disciples.

    Final Question:
What is your next step with Jesus?

  • HELP SOMEONE TAKE THE NEXT STEP

The Next Step — Discipleship: Grow in Christ

Discipleship isn't complete when we grow personally. God can use our growth to help someone else grow too.

    2 Timothy 2:2
“What you have heard from me… entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”

You don't need to know everything.

You can help someone by praying with them, studying Scripture together, answering questions, sharing what God is teaching you, or simply walking alongside them through a difficult season.

Sometimes discipleship is simply saying, “Let's grow together.”

    Your challenge today:

Think of one person who is taking their faith seriously—or someone who is struggling spiritually.

    Reach out and ask:

“How can I support you in your walk with Jesus?”

Listen. Pray. Encourage. Walk with them.

    Prayer:
“Lord, use me to help others grow closer to You. Give me patience, wisdom, and love to walk alongside someone and encourage them in their faith. Help me point them to Jesus, not myself. Amen.”

    Remember:
You don't have to be perfect to help someone grow. Just be willing to walk with them toward Jesus.

Question: Who could you walk alongside and help take their next step with Jesus?

  • BE AN ENCOURAGER

The Next Step — Discipleship: Grow in Christ

Sometimes, one encouraging word is enough to help someone keep going.

    1 Thessalonians 5:11
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.”

Everyone faces moments of doubt, disappointment, loneliness, and spiritual weakness.

As followers of Jesus, we can become people who strengthen others instead of tearing them down.

    Remind them of God's promises.
Tell someone you believe in what God is doing in their life.

    Your challenge today:

Think of one person who needs encouragement.

Reach out and tell them something specific that will strengthen their faith.

The Next Step — Discipleship: Grow in Christ

If Jesus has changed your life, don't keep the good news to yourself.

    Mark 16:15
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

Evangelism isn't about having perfect words or knowing every answer.

It starts with a heart that cares about people and wants them to know Jesus.

You can share the gospel through your words, your testimony, your kindness, your conversations, and the way you live.

    Your challenge today:

Think of one person who may need to hear about God's love.

Pray for them. Then look for an opportunity to start a genuine conversation about faith, hope, and Jesus.
