šThere was a time when I used to think it sounded a little extreme that Jesus would leave the ninety-nine sheep just to go after the one that had wandered away. I couldnāt fully understand why one sheep mattered that much. But then life humbled me. I became the one who was lost, exhausted, broken, and carrying burdens I didnāt know how to put down. I was the one who drifted, the one who felt forgotten, and the one who wondered if God had given up on me. Looking back now, I realize He never stopped pursuing me. Even in the moments I couldnāt feel Him, He was guiding me. Even when I made mistakes, He never turned His back on me. He kept reaching for me with His grace, His mercy, and His unfailing love until my heart found its way back home. Jesus said, āSuppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesnāt he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?ā ā Luke 15:4 That verse means something completely different to me now. I donāt read it as a story anymoreāI read it as my testimony. I was the one He refused to leave behind. I was the one He kept calling by name. And if He did it for me, Heāll do it for you too. No matter how far youāve wandered, how ashamed you feel, or how many wrong turns youāve taken, the Good Shepherd is still searching with love, still offering grace, and still ready to carry you home. His love has never been based on your perfection. Itās always been based on His faithfulness.
