Isaiah 26:3-4 NASB “The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You. 4 “Trust in the Lord forever, For in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock."' When we heard the gospel, we repented, we changed our thinking and understanding of what truly matters from temporal satisfaction to eternal security. We placed our faith in Jesus alone for our salvation and our continued right standing with God. There, at the cross, our hope was made alive and we were given a peace we hadn't previously known. Hold on to that understanding. Don't let anybody shift your thinking from resting in Christ to religious works and self effort to maintain your righteousness. Keep your eyes upon Jesus. You will be kept "in perfect peace." "Trust in the Lord forever." He will not fail you nor cast you away into the waves of uncertainty and fear of judgement.
