If I could sit down with ONE person from the Bible—other than Jesus—for an hour… I’m choosing ESTHER.
Why?
Because I’d want to hear what was going through her mind when she realized that everything she had been through and everywhere she had been positioned had brought her to THAT MOMENT.
She had every reason to be afraid—but she chose COURAGE over COMFORT.
I’d ask her:
What did it feel like to risk everything for your people?
How did you find the courage when you were afraid?
When did you realize you really had been placed there “for such a time as this”?
Esther reminds me that sometimes GOD PUTS YOU IN A PLACE NOT JUST FOR YOU… BUT FOR THE PEOPLE YOUR OBEDIENCE COULD IMPACT.
“And who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” — Esther 4:14
