A HEART THAT TURNS BACK TO GOD 30 Days — DISCIPLESHIP: Grow in Christ Following Jesus means allowing Him to change us. One important part of that growth is repentance. 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." Repentance isn't simply feeling bad about what we've done. It means turning away from sin and turning back to God. As we grow in Christ, God reveals attitudes, habits, words, and choices that don't reflect Him. When He does, don't hide. Don't make excuses. Bring it to Him. Confess it. Receive His forgiveness. Turn away from it. Keep walking with Jesus. You may stumble, but failure doesn't mean you have to stay down. Your challenge today: Spend a few quiet minutes asking: "Lord, is there anything in my life that I need to surrender to You?" Be honest with God. Confess what He brings to your heart and take one practical step away from it. Prayer: "Lord, give me a humble heart that is willing to change.
