• Good evening, brethren.

    1. Evening devotion gor today.

    ED.i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST*
    (COCIN DEVOTIONAL)

    *DATE:*
    TUESDAY 9TH JUNE, 2026.

    *SUB-THEME:*
    EXAMPLES OF GOD'S AMAZING GRACE.

    *TOPIC:*
    MARY, THE MOTHER OF JESUS.

    *TEXT:*
    LUKE 1:26-33.
    26. In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee,
    27. to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.
    28. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”
    29. Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.
    30. But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God.
    31. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call Him Jesus.
    32. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David,
    33. and He will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; His kingdom will never end.”

    *TOPIC:*
    MARY, THE MOTHER OF JESUS.

    *THE MESSAGE:*
Mary's role in the salvation history is significant. The angel Gabriel brought her a message that God had chosen her as a vessel to carry His Son, the Saviour of the world. She was troubled and bewildered as to how it could happen since she was a virgin. From a human perspective, Mary's pedigree of being a young female, poor, and perhaps unschooled disqualified her from being used by God for a notable cause. But God is not a man who considers things outwardly. Mary found favour with Him to be the mother of Jesus. What blessedness! You do not have to be a 'somebody', educated or experienced to be used of God. When God places a demand on you, do not decline. Like Mary, in faith and confidence, say, 'May it be to me as you have said.'

    *REFLECTION:*
    God uses whom He chooses.

    *PRAYER:*
Lord, let Your will be done in my life. Amen.

    *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:*
    JOHN 1:16.
"From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another."

    *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:*
    PSALM 42-49.

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work.
    2Thessalonians 2:7-8

Since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
    2Peter 3:17-18

The mystery among the Gentiles, is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
    Colossians 1:27

    Dire Warnings

So many passages to the Church from Christ’s apostles give serious and dire warnings.. forewarning of things to come, lest we be swept up into the error of the age – warnings that the mystery of lawlessness can damage the stability, of a Christian.

    Volatile Society

We are well down the path of that volatile society, about which we are warned. We are living at a time when Christian stamina is increasingly being wearied. We are experiencing a season when the believer’s endurance is being taxed.

    Increased Lawlessness

Are we to throw up our hands in horror as we see society tumble into the abyss? Are we to bemoan these evil days and sink deeper into a Slough of Despond? Are we to simply sit back and sanctimoniously accept prophetic inevitable? – for scripture tells us that the error of lawless men will wax greater in end times.

    Sufficient Grace

I think not – important though it is to recognise the signs of the approaching “day”. We shouldn’t accept the inevitable by allowing it to submerge our witness and walk. The deeper the darkness of the hour, the more vivid the brightness of His illumination. The greater the troubles of this age, the more manifest is His glorious, sufficient grace. The bigger today’s pressures and pain, the more ready will Christ carry His own – though not always in the way we expect.

    Grace upon Grace

As the mystery of lawlessness increases, so the mystery of godliness multiplies – grace; more grace; much grace –Grace built upon more grace. For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace John 1:16 For where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, Romans 5:20 -pressed down; shaken together and running over. Luke 6:38 We are to be lights in this darkest of age. We are to live our life in patient endurance. We are to hold fast and not to lose our steadfastness. We are not to be swept away by the error of the age – the mystery of lawlessness.

    Multiplied Evil

The mystery of lawlessness is the multiplication of evil in a world of fallen men. We are forewarned that this mystery can cause the loss of a believer’s stability: for men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil John 3:19 But we are forewarned of this approaching period by the apostle Peter: you, therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, beware.. 1Peter 3:17

    Morning Star

It is often said that the darkest time of the night comes just before the break of dawn, and the darkness we are experiencing today is heralding the bright Morning Star. Today’s increasing wickedness is a precursor to Christ’s return for His bride: the Church. In the meantime, the mystery of lawlessness is reaching fullness and we are to take care. Beware: be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. 2Peter.3:18

    Grow in Grace

But – praise God this dear apostle, Peter, continues with the next verse. He explains in simple terms how this is achieved… but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ 2Pet.3:18 We grow in grace and mature in the faith when we fix our eyes on the Lord, and the mature believer is the one that will not be overwhelmed by life’s circumstances.

    Eternal Perspective

Remember – God has an eternal perspective, and we are called to patiently endure.. and God has equipped His children as He prepares us for our eternal future: for I consider that our present sufferings cannot even be compared to the glory that will be revealed to us. Romans 8:18

    2. Evening Prayer for today.

    MP.i. Evening Prayer

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. ⏤ Psalm 121:4

Prayer is the soul’s sincere desire, unuttered or expressed. ⏤ James Montgomery

O Lord, we humbly beseech You to accept this, our evening sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving. Mercifully grant to us, through the merits of Jesus Christ, Your Son, the remission of our sins, and all the blessings of eternal life. Fill our hearts, we ask You, with Your Spirit. Simply to Your cross we cling, O Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer.

The night is now before us. We do not know what perils are veiled in the darkness. We know only that we are safe in You, by night as by day, for the darkness and the light are both alike to You. Your eye sees in the night as clearly as at noonday. So, while we sleep, You will watch over us, and we shall be as safe as if it were day. Be our shelter, our keeper, protecting us from all danger.

We may not all live through the night. If any of us shall end our life here and go away before the morning, may it be unto You that we shall go. We ask that You will shed abroad Your love in our hearts. May Your will be done here in our home as it is done in Heaven. We ask for special individual blessings. We have different needs. Some of us are strong, and others are weak. As our day is, so may our strength be. Let none of us ever be overwhelmed by this world's evil.

We ask for refreshing rest in sleep. May nothing disturb our repose until the morning. Give us in sleep the blessings of Your love. May we be stronger for the night's rest. Fit us for whatever is before us. Watch over us and bring us to the morning light in peace and health. Guide us in safe and good paths, and help us to be useful to many others. We ask it in the blessed name of Jesus. Amen.

Eternal Perspective Remember – God has an eternal perspective, and we are called to patiently endure.. and God has equipped His children as He prepares us for our eternal future: for I consider that our present sufferings cannot even be compared to the glory that will be revealed to us. Romans 8:18 Post navigation Previous Post Previous Holy Conduct Proudly powered by WordPress. 2. Evening Prayer for today. MP.i. Evening Prayer Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. ⏤ Psalm 121:4 Prayer is the soul’s sincere desire, unuttered or expressed. ⏤ James Montgomery O Lord, we humbly beseech You to accept this, our evening sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/65/evening #taptapstudio #youdevotion.

    *TOPIC:*
    GRATITUDE.

    *THE MESSAGE:*
On account of Adam's sin, humanity is destined for destruction. But God, in His grace, provided a way of escape through faith in Jesus Christ, who fulfilled the righteous requirement of the law for us in His life and death. Since Jesus paid the price, gratitude should be our response to such a great gift. These texts remind us to always give thanks to God for His word and to maintain an attitude of praise. We must thank God daily for salvaging us from the hand of our enemy and for the certainty that we belong to His unshakable Kingdom. Take a critical look at your life and the mess from which He picked you, washed you and established you in Christ. You will have every reason to be thankful as well as ascribe to Him the respect and worship He deserves.

    *REFLECTION:*
    Have you thanked God today?

    *PRAYER:*
Father, I thank You immensely for Your saving grace. Amen.

    *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:*

For of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
    2Peter 2:19

    All in All

When Christ is not a Christian’s fullness, that one is filled with self, not Christ. When Christ is not all in all to the body of Christ, it becomes an empty vessel. When the Lord Jesus is not preeminent in our lives we fail in our ministry. Individually and collectively we lose our testimony when Christ is not our focus – He must be all to those who are called by His name. He must be all in all to me.

    Spirit Guidance

If a lighted lamp is not trimmed and cleaned daily.. it flickers and is extinguished. If the oil of the Spirit is not replenished day by day.. we become dry and unprofitable. If the nourishment of His Word is not partaken of consistently.. we lose our strength. If we do not arm ourselves daily for the spiritual battle we will be overcome, for it is the one who overcomes that the Lord seeks to sup with Him and honour. So what is this state of being overcome? – and each of them asked, ”Is it I Lord?” John 2:19

    Worldly Wisdom

It is the tragedy of spiritual weakness and decline, through neglect or rebellion. It is a blindness to the command of his Lord – an indifference to His Word. It is a return to a worldly wisdom – a deaf ear to the warning promptings of the Spirit. It is hearkening to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, the pride of life. It is a deliberate move or a careless attitude away from trust in Him to faith in self.

    Enemy of the Soul

The enemy of the soul deliberately seeks to shipwreck God’s purposed plan: “For of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought into bondage. 2Peter 2:19 And the seven-fold warning of the Spirit is this :- to him that overcometh.. So how must I overcome the world, the flesh and the satanic forces of evil? Is it searching out special knowledge? Seeking new doctrine? Applying religiosity?

    Spiritual Battle

Heaven forbid!! God wants a company of believers to overcome in the spiritual battle. A remnant of believers who strip themselves of self and clothe themselves in Him. He is wanting a body of believers to live and work in the power of the Spirit. He wants a little flock, to take on themselves the burden of the Lord’s own interests.

    Unfinished Work

Christ finished His saving work on the cross once for all, and we who are blood-bought rejoice evermore in this finished work – but Christ has an unfinished work that is ongoing today. Check out what Luke told Theophilus. He told of all the things Jesus began. He told of all the things which Jesus began to do and to teach, until He was taken Acts 1:1

    Work of Christ

That work of Christ has been entrusted to the church, individually and corporately, but too often the Church has fallen foul of the world, the flesh and the devil. The Church is in a state of undress and unreadiness for the return of the Lord. The Church, as His body, has become lukewarm towards their first love.

    Ears to Hear

But Christ still stands and knocks and asks: If any man will hear… If any woman will hear… If any one will hear… Let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches… (See Revelation chapters 2 and 3) The Lord still seeks a body, however small, to burden themselves with His will. The Lord still seeks to complete the work He started through whosoever will.

    Work of Christ

It must not be me that does the work but Christ working through me – are you willing to say ”not I but Christ worketh in me…?” Galatians 2:20 Praise the Lord that Christ’s work of redemption is complete – Hallelujah! We shout for joy with angels in heaven – “Hallelujah! It Is Finished..” But we must not forget that there is an ongoing work in the world today “Christ in you – Christ working through you”

    Willing Body

While the Lord was on earth he worked in “a prepared Body” Hebrews 10:5 Now the Lord works from the Father’s throne, through a willing ‘Body” – Take my life and use me to do Your will, I pray

    2. Evening, prayer for today.

    EP.i. Evening Prayer

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. ⏤ Psalm 32:8

God’s ways are behind the scenes, but He moves all the scenes which He is behind. ⏤ John Newton

We must keep ourselves in Your hands, our Father, for if we were to fall out of those blessed hands, it would be into eternal ruin. In You, we live and move and have our being. We acknowledge our dependence on You and come to You tonight to surrender ourselves to You. Into Your hands, we commit our spirits, O Lord God of truth, for You have redeemed us. Where we have failed to live and act as Your redeemed ones—please forgive us. Bless what we have done. Sanctify our influence on others. May today's experiences enrich us, preparing us for a holier, more abundant life.

Father, we want to learn the lessons You have for us. We are not in this world just to make a living—but to be in Your school. You are giving us new lessons to learn each day. You want to teach us patience, submission to Your will, trust when the way is dark, and faithfulness in all our duties. We are not always good learners. Sometimes we resist Your teaching. We do not always submit to Your will. We do not always trust when we cannot see the way. Forgive our dullness and slowness in learning, and help us to take all our lessons more sweetly in the future. Teach us to do Your will, to walk in Your ways, to please You in all things, and to grow into all spiritual beauty.

We ask now for personal blessings on each member of our family. You know each one's particular needs. Grant us what will be the best blessing and favor. If any of us are careless, make us more careful. If any of us are in special danger of falling into temptation or making a mistake in a friendship—deliver us and bless us. We ask in Jesus' precious name. Amen.

  • Good evening, brethren.

    1. Evening devotion for today.

    i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST*
    (COCIN DEVOTIONAL)

    *DATE:*
    SATURDAY 21ST MARCH, 2026.

    *SUB-THEME:*
THE GRACE OF GOD IN DIFFICULT TIMES.

    *TOPIC:*
    SICKNESS.

    *TEXT:*
    PSALM 41:1-9
    1. Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord delivers them in times of trouble.
    2. The Lord protects and preserves them — they are counted among the blessed in the land— He does not give them over to the desire of their foes.
    3. The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness.
    4. I said, “Have mercy on me, Lord; heal me, for I have sinned against You.”
    5. My enemies say of me in malice, “When will he die and his name perish?”
    6. When one of them comes to see me, he speaks falsely, while his heart gathers slander; then he goes out and spreads it around.
    7. All my enemies whisper together against me; they imagine the worst for me, saying,
    8. “A vile disease has afflicted him; he will never get up from the place where he lies.”
    9. Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me.

    *TOPIC:*
    SICKNESS.

    *THE MESSAGE:*
Sickness is a physical, mental, or emotional illness or disease, usually acute or chronic. This text presents a sick person who called on the Lord to heal and forgive his sins. Instead of consoling him, his friends slandered and wished him dead. Even his trusted friend betrayed him. Despite the suffering, he resolves to trust in God's mercy and faithfulness, recognising that He alone has the power to heal and restore. You may be going through a 'vile' sickness that seems to be at the end stages. Your loved ones might have discouraged or deserted you. You may feel all hope is lost. Do not give up your faith in God. Seek Him wholeheartedly in prayer. He has power to heal you.

    *REFLECTION:*
Sickness should not stop you from trusting God.

    *PRAYER:*
Lord, I trust You for healing. Amen.

    *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:*
    ROMANS 8:28.
And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

    *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:*
    1 SAMUEL 20-22.

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men….. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
    1Timothy 2 :1,4

    Power Behind Prayer

God delights to have His children come to Him in prayer. It is often said, “There is power in prayer“, and James 5 is a much-quoted passage on prayer: The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. James 5:16 But the real power behind the prayer is God, to Whom the prayers are offered. It is God Who hears the cries of His children and He is a God that answers prayers. No business transacted touches a life so deeply as prayer, No work undertaken throughout our life – so deeply affects those we love.

    Unceasing Prayer

Paul exhorts that: men ought always to pray, and to pray without ceasing. But believers ought also to learn to pray aright – to pray in spirit and in truth. We ought to search out the heart of God, so as to pray into His will and purpose.

    Intercessory Prayer

How we long for loved ones to be drawn by the Holy Spirit to a saving faith in Jesus, and our intercessory prayers can often have a part to play: for no man comes to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him John 6:44. How we need to pray that God’s will is done in their lives and in our life too. The Lord is not willing that any should perish. The Lord wills that all should come to repentance. 2Peter 3:9

    Pray for the Lost

How we need to pray that God will lift the veil of unbelief from the eyes of so many – a veil the evil-one has placed over the eyes of so many of our loved ones. How we need to plead that the Spirit will reveal to them the truth about the Lord.. to protect their hearts and minds from the lies and deceptions of Satan: for the god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ. 2Cor.4:4

    Pray for Understanding

How we need to pray for the good news of Calvary to take root in their hearts.. that Satan won’t be permitted to steal the precious seed of the gospel sown in their hearts – that God would open their hearts to understand the hope of Christ’s salvation: for when anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. Matt.13:19

    God’s Long-suffering

How important that we pray that they hear and believe.. that God would show the lost their own sinfulness.. that He remove any strongholds, thought patterns, and religiosity – that He shows them the folly of materialism, of fear and of self: for the Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is long-suffering to us-ward not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2Peter 3:9

    Measure of Faith

How we desire that each seeking one is given the faith that they may believe in Him: for God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. Rom.12:3 and how we pray that God will use whatever means is necessary to get their attention.

    Pray in Faith

We know that God hears the prayers of His saints, so it’s important that we pray. It’s important that we pray in faith and that we trust Him to hear and to answer. How needful that we think rightly, asking Him to remove any doubt from our mind: for assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain: ‘be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23

    Pray in Agreement

We need to be in agreement in our prayers with other believers, knowing that: if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven” Matthew 18:19. We need to glorify Him in our prayers, knowing, whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father .. may be glorified in the Son” John 14:13

    Pray of Thanks

We need to be thankful in prayer – thanking Him for the answer that is to come: we always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, Col.1:3. We thank Him that He is utterly faithful to keep His promises to us, for if you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:14

    Pray for Evangelism

We need to pray that God will send the opportunities to share the Gospel with unbelievers: pray also for us, that God may open for us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ. Col.4:3. We need to pray that we will be effective in sharing the gospel: I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective or the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us, for the sake of Christ. Phil.1:6

    Pray for Labourers

We need to pray that God will raise up those to minister to the lost, the hurting and the bereft: pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.” Matt.9:38 We need to follow the lovely example of Jesus – Who Himself needed time to pray: for Jesus would withdraw to a desolate place and pray. He went out to the mountains to pray, and all night He continued in prayer to God.” Luke 5:16

    Continuing Prayers

We need to pray for all believers.. in our continuing and unceasing prayers: we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Col.1:9. We need not only to pray for others, but to value and accept prayers from others too: brothers, pray for us. 1Thess.5:25

    Prayer of Faith

We need to ask Him to remove any doubt that we may have – for He is faithful to answer prayer: truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:23

    Pray in Agreement

And we need to pray in agreement with other believers as we kneel to pray: for if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. Matt.18:19 – For where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I among them Matt.18:20

    2. Evening Prayer for today.

    i. Evening Prayer

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. ⏤ John 14:27

Peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of Christ. ⏤ Sheila Walsh

Lord, abide with us, for it is evening, and the night is upon us. Give us Your protection in and through the darkness. Our eyes cannot see in the night—but Your eyes see, as in the day. The darkness and the light are both alike to You. You can watch over us, for You neither slumber nor sleep. So we put ourselves into Your loving care for the night. We shall sleep without fear, for You are our keeper.

We ask You for Your divine peace. Earth's peace is easily broken by alarms and by troubles that spring up continually. We are startled evermore by sudden fears and dangers. But Your peace is eternal. Not as the world gives—do You give unto us. You give Your own peace to Your redeemed children. It is that peace that we seek tonight. You have promised to keep in perfect peace, those whose minds are stayed on You. May we rest in You. May we nestle in Your love, as little children nestle in the mother's bosom. May we hide in You as in an everlasting rock, so that our peace may never be disturbed, even in the wildest storms of earth.

Through this night may we be kept, and may Your best blessing be upon us. May no accident befall our home while we are sleeping. May we be preserved until the morning and then receive a Sunday's blessing to prepare us for our duties. We remember other homes around us, praying that Your grace may be upon them. Bless Your ministers tonight who are preparing to speak to Your people tomorrow. Hold them near Your own heart and give them the messages, the words of life, which You would have them speak. Fold us all now in Your everlasting arms, and may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be upon us. Amen.

Good evening, brethren. 1. Evening devotion for today. i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST* (COCIN DEVOTIONAL) *DATE:* SATURDAY 21ST MARCH, 2026. *SUB-THEME:* THE GRACE OF GOD IN DIFFICULT TIMES. *TOPIC:* SICKNESS. *TEXT:* PSALM 41:1-9 1. 4. I said, “Have mercy on me, Lord; heal me, for I have sinned against You.” 5. My enemies say of me in malice, “When will he die and his name perish?” 6. When one of them comes to see me, he speaks falsely, while his heart gathers slander; then he goes out and spreads it around. 7. All my enemies whisper together against me; they imagine the worst for me, saying, 8. “A vile disease has afflicted him; he will never get up from the place where he lies.” 9. Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me. *TOPIC:* SICKNESS. *THE MESSAGE:* Sickness is a physical, mental, or emotional illness or disease, usually acute or chronic. *REFLECTION:* Sickness should not stop you from trusting God. *PRAYER:* Lord, I trust You for healing. Amen. *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:* ROMANS 8:28. And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:* 1 SAMUEL 20-22. ii. Skip to content Dalily Devotional by Elizabeth Haworth Posted onMarch 21, 2026 by Editor Prayer Changes Things Christian Applications Store:: Christian devotional App Store; Explore Recommended Christian Books and Devotionals I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men….. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1Timothy 2 :1,4 Power Behind Prayer God delights to have His children come to Him in prayer. Unceasing Prayer Paul exhorts that: men ought always to pray, and to pray without ceasing. But believers ought also to learn to pray aright – to pray in spirit and in truth. We ought to search out the heart of God, so as to pray into His will and purpose. Intercessory Prayer How we long for loved ones to be drawn by the Holy Spirit to a saving faith in Jesus, and our intercessory prayers can often have a part to play: for no man comes to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him John 6:44. How we need to pray that God’s will is done in their lives and in our life too. The Lord is not willing that any should perish. The Lord wills that all should come to repentance. 2Peter 3:9 Pray for the Lost How we need to pray that God will lift the veil of unbelief from the eyes of so many – a veil the evil-one has placed over the eyes of so many of our loved ones. How we need to plead that the Spirit will reveal to them the truth about the Lord.. to protect their hearts and minds from the lies and deceptions of Satan: for the god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ. 2Cor.4:4 Pray for Understanding How we need to pray for the good news of Calvary to take root in their hearts.. that Satan won’t be permitted to steal the precious seed of the gospel sown in their hearts – that God would open their hearts to understand the hope of Christ’s salvation: for when anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. Matt.13:19 God’s Long-suffering How important that we pray that they hear and believe.. that God would show the lost their own sinfulness.. that He remove any strongholds, thought patterns, and religiosity – that He shows them the folly of materialism, of fear and of self: for the Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is long-suffering to us-ward not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2Peter 3:9 Measure of Faith How we desire that each seeking one is given the faith that they may believe in Him: for God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. Rom.12:3 and how we pray that God will use whatever means is necessary to get their attention. Pray in Faith We know that God hears the prayers of His saints, so it’s important that we pray. It’s important that we pray in faith and that we trust Him to hear and to answer. How needful that we think rightly, asking Him to remove any doubt from our mind: for assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain: ‘be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23 Pray in Agreement We need to be in agreement in our prayers with other believers, knowing that: if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven” Matthew 18:19. We need to glorify Him in our prayers, knowing, whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father .. may be glorified in the Son” John 14:13 Pray of Thanks We need to be thankful in prayer – thanking Him for the answer that is to come: we always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, Col.1:3. We thank Him that He is utterly faithful to keep His promises to us, for if you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:14 Pray for Evangelism We need to pray that God will send the opportunities to share the Gospel with unbelievers: pray also for us, that God may open for us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ. Col.4:3. We need to pray that we will be effective in sharing the gospel: I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective or the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us, for the sake of Christ. Phil.1:6 Pray for Labourers We need to pray that God will raise up those to minister to the lost, the hurting and the bereft: pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.” Matt.9:38 We need to follow the lovely example of Jesus – Who Himself needed time to pray: for Jesus would withdraw to a desolate place and pray. He went out to the mountains to pray, and all night He continued in prayer to God.” Luke 5:16 Continuing Prayers We need to pray for all believers.. in our continuing and unceasing prayers: we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Col.1:9. We need not only to pray for others, but to value and accept prayers from others too: brothers, pray for us. 1Thess.5:25 Prayer of Faith We need to ask Him to remove any doubt that we may have – for He is faithful to answer prayer: truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:23 Pray in Agreement And we need to pray in agreement with other believers as we kneel to pray: for if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. Matt.18:19 – For where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I among them Matt.18:20 Post navigation Previous Post Previous A Secure Position In Christ Proudly powered by WordPress. 2. Evening Prayer for today. i. Evening Prayer Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. ⏤ John 14:27 Peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of Christ. ⏤ Sheila Walsh Lord, abide with us, for it is evening, and the night is upon us. • Hey there shalom ...! I want to remind you to day about the power and grace of god what carried us , as it say in 2Peter 1:34 " His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires." It clearly shows that we have a chance to escape form the traps of this world by the promises christ given us .

  • YOU ARE NOT A SPIRIT THAT LIVES ON AFTER DEATH.
YOU DONT LIVE ON AS A SPIRIT WHEN YOU DIE!!

Please, share this study with your family, friends co-workers, and all who you can, for the expansion of the Kingdom of GOD.

    HERE IS THE BIBLE PROOF:
    Psalms 115:17 (KJV)
The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

Read it again: Psalms 115:17 (KJV) The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

Wouldn’t you think that if a person dies and lives on as a spirit, goes to heaven and there the first reaction would be to praise the Lord but this is not the case according to the Bible. This includes body soul. We need to let the Bible explain itself and the Bible says that man does not have natural immortality. Man is subjected to death and he will die, only God is immortal. The doctrine that man it is in heaven as a spirit when he dies came from satan in in the garden of Eden when he said “you will not die.“ And the sad thing is that the Christian world now repeat what the devil says. Now when I tell you that there is no life after death I believe in everlasting life but it is not until the second coming like Jesus Christ and it is not immediately when a person dies.

    Here is more proof:
•2Peter 2:9 The dead are reserve not in heaven
•Job 17:13 The dead are in grave & darkness not in heaven
•John 11:24 Jesus resurrects the dead to life in the the last day not before
