Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 31 juillet 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar. Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28) The master’s invitation Yehudi Menuhin (1916-1999) was a legend from the beginning. And his fame as a violinist grew from year to year because he caressed the musical soul of his audience. When he performed in Warsaw for the first time in 1956, the rebuilt National Philharmonic where he gave his concert was completely full. People even overflowed along the walls and into the corridors of the building.  Menuhin stepped onto the stage, which could accommodate a large symphony orchestra and an even larger choir. Now it was empty because solo sonatas were on the program. There was a hearty round of applause. Then it was silent. Menuhin raised the violin … everyone held their breath … he lowered it again. Then he waved the bow to the people standing along the walls and in the corridors, inviting them to come up to the stage and sit around him on the floor. They followed hesitantly at first, then more and more. Eventually, hundreds of people were sitting there – looking up at the man in their midst.  When the Lord Jesus Christ lived, He also didn’t keep people at a distance. He took children in His arms and saved Peter from the water by taking hold of his hand. He gave the invitation again and again: “Come to me”! But today, people keep their distance from Him: they don’t read the gospels, which are well researched or even eyewitness accounts, and they don’t speak to Him in prayer. Yet, He still invites today: “Come to Me”! Why do people decline His invitation?  Back then in Warsaw, Menuhin invited people to come closer. And they came, saw and listened. People today have no idea what they are missing if they keep their distance from the Lord Jesus. Today’s reading: Joshua 7:16-26 – 1 Corinthians 6:1-11

July 14th, 2026 Rallies and protest marches in Washington, D.C. have been taking place since 1893, when Fry’s Army organized a protest march by unemployed American workers. Events held at the National Mall take place between the U.S. Capitol and the Lincoln Memorial. In 1995, the National Park Service quit releasing crowd size estimates for Mall rallies after a controversy concerning the Million Man March. Over the years, there have been marches against nuclear weapons, marches to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr., repeated protests against the Vietnam War, pro-life marches, pro-choice marches, and, more recently, the March for Our Lives student-led demonstration. Turnout was estimated to be between 1.2 and 2 million people, making it the largest protest in American history. The Bible encourages the “assembling of ourselves together,” not for the purpose of protest, but to worship God and fellowship with one another. The early church understood and practiced coming together. “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place” (Acts 2:1). When the Holy Spirit was poured out, the results were astounding. “Those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them” (v. 41). Another reason Christians come together is for corporate worship. It affirms our identity as believers in God who “are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9). Such gatherings not only provide encouraging opportunities for interpersonal relationships and spiritual growth, but they become a witness to the world. “Believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women” (Acts 5:14). Apply It: What is the biggest crowd you have ever been in? Was it a sports event, a concert, a rally, or a church gathering? The whole law depends on the commandment to love God and at the same time love our neighbor as we love ourselves. When David was betrayed, not by an enemy, but by his best friend - read Psalm 55 - this deeply wounded his heart. Maybe this has also happened to you. Someone whom you thought loved you, someone you trusted and loved, turned against you. You feel betrayed, you are deeply hurt and your heart aches because of this. That is what happened to David: 'My heart is overwhelmed.' Maybe you have been abandoned by your husband or wife. You cannot get rid of the pain of what was done to you. You loved one another, you trusted each other and now everything is broken. Your self-esteem is shattered, and you do not know how to move on. You might have secretly prayed: 'Lord, punish him or her.' If something happens to him or her, you might think: 'Well, what comes around, goes around.' However, God says in Proverbs 24:17-18: 'Do not gloat when your enemy falls, when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice, or the Lord will see and disapprove and turn His wrath away from them.' Jesus says in John 15:17: 'This is My command: love each other.' This is a commandment. Jesus commanding you to love and forgive each other does not mean that He approves what the other person has wrongly done. Taking Refuge In God. June 18,2026 I will say of the Lord ,He is my refuge and my fortress :my God ; in him will I trust -Psalm 91:2. As the outdoor concert started , I felt a single raindrop on my cheek .Looking up , I saw ominous dark clouds , Having paid a steep price for tickets , however , I wasn’t inclined to leave because of a little bad weather .The umbrellas began to pop open .One woman pulled a plastic grocery bag over her hair .It took just one descending boom of thunder for the performer to grab her microphone and beg is to take refuge somewhere . As the rain began to come in torrents , we splashed through muddy puddles aand rushed into a nearby school gym .Thorouly soaked , we huddled with strangers for the next half hour ,still hoping the storm would end .When we vehtured back out , we saw that the band was packed up and ready to leave . when the storms of life come ,where can we run ?Sorrow ,worry , illness ,and confusion can make us fearful and in need of refuge .We need a strong shelter that’ll protect us .Psalm 91 reminds us the Gos has promised to rescue us and to be with us in trouble .”Because he loves my ….I will rescue him :I will protect him , for he acknowledged my name “(v14)Whsn we need help , we can call on His name and He “will answer “us (v15). when our courage fails us , we can leak into His strength .He’s our shelter in any storm -Cindy Hess Kasper. what storms are you experiencing ?How can you gain the shelter and refuge that God has promised you ? We saw both & I cried 😢 then just a few months after seeing the movie both my daughter and I went to see MercyMe and Big Daddy Weave in concert and met ahh few of the band members an my daughter got autographs too. So go & see it. ❤️😎
