MESSAGE: The devil lures many people into evil covenants with the promise of protection; however, complete protection only exists in God. Romans 8:31 says, "... If God be for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:37 further says that we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. This means that, if you are in a covenant with God, you will not have to fight any battle, because He will always fight for you. Many times, you would have won the battle before you even realise that someone was trying to attack you. I ran away from my village after some people threatened that they were going to 'eat me for breakfast,' and for 13 years, I could not return. However, after I met the Lord Jesus Christ, I was able to visit my village, and I even attended a wedding where I saw many of the people who had threatened to kill me through diabolical means. I was much younger in the faith at the time, so I had a lot of zeal but not much wisdom. I was asked to preach at the wedding, and I delivered a powerful sermon that hit them hard with the word of God. Some months later, those people went to the mother of the lady who got married and told her that it was her daughter's wedding that provided a platform for me to insult them. They further said that they had been waiting for an opportunity for revenge, and the opportunity had presented itself now that her daughter was pregnant. They told her, "We will see if your daughter will give birth, unless we are not the ones in charge here on earth." The lady's mother became frightened and came to me. I told her not to worry and assured her that on the day her daughter would give birth, all those who had threatened her would fall asleep. To the glory of God, things turned out exactly as I said; her daughter gave birth while those who threatened her were sleeping. The baby they swore would not be born is now a medical doctor. Beloved, God said that He will be a wall of fire around you in today's memory verse, and anyone who chooses to confront the Consuming Fire will not live to tell the story. Never be afraid of any force, person, or situation that threatens to harm you. Cry out to God in such cases, and He will show up to defend you and give you victory. Although several rulers come to power, the repeated evaluation of their reigns remains remarkably consistent. Most continue walking in the sinful patterns established by those before them, refusing to lead the people back to wholehearted worship of the Lord. The chapter begins with Azariah (Uzziah) in Judah. He generally follows the Lord, and God grants him a long and prosperous reign. Yet even during his leadership, the high places remain, showing that incomplete reform often leaves room for continued spiritual compromise. Outward stability cannot replace complete devotion to God. The narrative then shifts repeatedly to the northern kingdom, where kings rise and fall through conspiracy, assassination, and violence. Political power changes hands rapidly, demonstrating that kingdoms built on rebellion and self-interest can never experience lasting peace. Human ambition repeatedly promises security but produces only greater instability. As the chapter progresses, the growing influence of Assyria becomes increasingly evident. God begins allowing foreign powers to discipline His people because of their persistent refusal to repent. The decline does not happen suddenly but develops gradually through years of compromise, idolatry, and disobedience. Despite the nation's instability, one truth remains unchanged: God continues preserving the Davidic line in Judah according to His covenant promise. Kings fail, governments collapse, and nations weaken, yet God's redemptive plan continues moving forward exactly as He intended. Theologically, 2 Kings 15 reveals that political stability cannot substitute for spiritual faithfulness. Nations and leaders rise and fall, but God's covenant promises remain secure. The chapter also demonstrates that small compromises, when left unaddressed, eventually produce larger consequences. This chapter points to Christ, whose kingdom stands in complete contrast to the unstable kingdoms of this world. Earthly rulers come and go, but Jesus reigns forever. His throne is established upon righteousness, justice, and truth, never threatened by conspiracy, corruption, or rebellion. For believers today, 2 Kings 15 reminds us not to place our ultimate confidence in human leadership or earthly systems. Our hope rests in Christ alone. While the world around us may experience uncertainty and instability, God's kingdom remains unshakable. We are called to remain faithful to Him, trusting that His purposes continue unfolding even during difficult and uncertain times. 2 Kings 16 The Cost of Compromise 2 Kings 16 focuses on the reign of Ahaz, one of Judah's most ungodly kings. Unlike many of his predecessors who mixed obedience with compromise, Ahaz openly rejects the ways of the Lord and embraces the practices of the surrounding pagan nations. His reign demonstrates how quickly spiritual compromise can deepen into outright rebellion against God. When Judah faces military threats, Ahaz refuses to trust the Lord for deliverance. Instead, he turns to Assyria for protection. Humanly speaking, the alliance appears practical and successful, but spiritually it reveals a heart that places greater confidence in political power than in God's covenant promises. The compromise does not end with foreign alliances. During a visit to Damascus, Ahaz becomes impressed by a pagan altar and orders one like it to be constructed in Jerusalem. He replaces God's ordained pattern of worship with one borrowed from a pagan culture. His actions reveal a dangerous desire to reshape worship according to human preference rather than divine instruction. As Ahaz continues altering the temple and its furnishings, the chapter illustrates that spiritual compromise often begins subtly but eventually affects every area of worship. When God's Word is no longer the standard, human opinion gradually replaces divine authority. Although Ahaz achieves temporary political security, his spiritual decisions leave lasting damage. His reign becomes another step in Judah's gradual decline, demonstrating that worldly success achieved apart from God always carries a high spiritual cost. Yet even amid Judah's unfaithfulness, God's covenant remains secure. The Lord does not abandon His redemptive plan. His promises continue moving toward their fulfillment through the preserved line of David, despite the failures of individual kings. Theologically, 2 Kings 16 teaches that compromise often begins by seeking human solutions instead of trusting God. It also reveals the danger of reshaping worship and truth according to cultural influences rather than God's revealed Word. This chapter points to Christ, who remained perfectly faithful to the Father's will. Jesus never compromised truth for acceptance or convenience. He fulfilled God's purposes completely and now calls His followers to worship the Father in spirit and truth rather than according to the changing standards of the world. For believers today, 2 Kings 16 serves as a warning against allowing culture, fear, or convenience to shape our relationship with God. We are called to trust the Lord rather than worldly solutions and to remain faithful to His Word regardless of the pressures around us. In Christ, we have a perfect King who never compromised and who gives us the grace to stand faithfully in a world that constantly invites us to lower God's standards. Galatians 3 — Justified by Faith and United in the Christ Galatians chapter 3 stands at the heart of Paul's defense of the gospel, explaining that God's redemptive plan has always been based on faith rather than human effort. After confronting the danger of adding works to salvation, Paul now demonstrates from Scripture that the Christ, the Son of God, fulfills God's promises and that righteousness has always been received through faith. This chapter calls believers to rest completely in the finished work of the Christ and to reject every attempt to earn what God freely gives by grace. The chapter begins with Paul's astonishment that the Galatian believers had begun relying on human effort after receiving the gospel by faith. He reminds them that their Christian life began through the work of the Holy Spirit, not through keeping religious requirements. Christian living follows the same pattern. The Son of God not only saves by grace but also sustains believers by grace. The redemptive plan cannot be completed through human strength because it was never begun that way. Paul then points to Abraham as the great example of faith. Long before the Law was given, Abraham was counted righteous because he believed God's promise. This demonstrates that faith has always been the foundation of God's relationship with His people. The redemptive plan did not begin with the Law but with God's promise, which ultimately found its fulfillment in the Christ. Those who place their faith in the Son of God become children of Abraham through faith, sharing in the blessing God promised from the beginning. The chapter explains that relying upon the Law for righteousness places people under its condemnation because no one is able to keep it perfectly. The Law reveals God's holiness and exposes humanity's sinfulness, but it cannot save. This reveals humanity's desperate need for the Christ. The Son of God entered the world to accomplish what the Law could never accomplish—complete redemption from the curse of sin. Paul then presents one of the chapter's most beautiful truths: the Christ willingly took upon Himself the curse that belonged to humanity. Through His sacrificial death, He redeemed those who were under condemnation so that God's promised blessing could come to all who believe. This is the very heart of the redemptive plan. The Son of God bore our judgment so that we might receive His righteousness and the gift of the Holy Spirit. The chapter also explains the proper purpose of the Law. It was never intended to replace God's promise but to prepare people for the coming of the Christ. By revealing sin and humanity's inability to save itself, the Law pointed people toward their need for a Savior. Once the Christ came, the purpose of the Law as a guardian was fulfilled because salvation had arrived through Him. Paul emphasizes that through faith in the Christ, believers become sons and daughters of God. Their identity is no longer determined by ethnicity, social standing, gender, or religious background but by their relationship with the Son of God. The redemptive plan creates one family united in the Christ. Every believer shares equally in the promises of God because all stand on the same foundation of grace. The chapter concludes by declaring that those who belong to the Christ are heirs according to God's promise. Everything promised to Abraham ultimately belongs to those who are united with the Son of God through faith. Christian living is therefore lived from a position of acceptance rather than striving. Believers do not work to become heirs; they live because they already are heirs through the grace of the Christ. Throughout this chapter, the focus remains firmly upon the Son of God. He fulfills God's promises, bears humanity's curse, provides true righteousness, and unites all believers into one family. The redemptive plan is entirely centered upon His finished work and received through faith alone. For believers today, this chapter reminds us to rest completely in the grace of the Christ. Christian living is not sustained by religious performance but by continual dependence upon the Son of God. We are called to reject every form of legalism and rejoice in the freedom that comes through faith. "TRUST YOUR BIBLE, IT'S TRUE!" ‘…that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled...’ Matthew 26:56 NIV THE DEATH, burial and resurrection of Jesus fulfilled no less than twenty-nine different Old Testament prophecies. The odds of that happening are virtually impossible! Mathematician Peter Stoner explains it this way: ‘If you were to cover the state of Texas two feet deep in pound coins, then on one, place a mark. What is the probability that a blindfolded person could, on their first attempt, select that coin? That’s the likelihood of just eight prophecies being fulfilled in one lifetime. And Jesus fulfilled twenty-nine of them in one day!’ Let’s look at some of the prophecies He fulfilled: 1) ‘…They pierced My hands and… feet’ (Psalms 22:16 NKJV). 2) ‘They divide my garments…and…cast lots’ (Psalms 22:18 NKJV). 3) ‘…in that day…I will make the sun go down at noon, and…darken the earth in…daylight’ (Amos 8:9 NKJV). Jesus predicted both His death and His resurrection. He told His critics, ‘…“Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”…the temple he had spoken of was his body’ (John 2:19-21 NIV). Jesus orchestrated every event, including Judas’ betrayal, the high priest’s hypocrisy, and Peter’s denial. Why? ‘That the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled.’ So you can trust your Bible because it’s true. And something else is true too. God is ‘…able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…’ (Ephesians 3:20 NIV). Note the words ‘immeasurably more.’ What seems impossible to you at the moment, is all in a day’s work for Him. So start trusting Him to work on your behalf. And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant. 6 Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves. 7 And Leah also with her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves. 8 And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord. 9 And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself. 10 And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me. 11 Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord. *Timeless Truth:* _"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"_ (Psalm 133:1). *INTRODUCTION* Love and unity are the indispensable catalysts of human relationships that make life worthwhile. Without these two graces, life ceases to have meaning and will breed heartaches, emotional troubles, bitter enmity and rivalries, anguish of the soul and all sorts of relational problems. The fulfilment and joy of natural and spiritual families, communities, nations etc rest on love and unity. *"Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity"*. Satan's delight is to fuel relational problems and thereby make the earth another hell for relations. When the foundation of happy relationship and co-existence is destroyed, what shall the righteous do? The foundation of a happy and united family life of Isaac was broken and it had its toll on the children. Parental disunity and favoritism led to bitter rivalry between Esau and Jacob. The result was not a sweet experience for each member of the family. After 20 years of separation between the children, the need for peace and unity, so as to end the ugly experience became imperative. They must be commended that they did not die in that situation. They allowed God and let go of their differences. What can we learn from them about how to build the broken walls and foundation of life and unity among brethren? Read on. *1. Bridge the Communication Gap* a. The main reason Jesus came to pay the ultimate price of redemption is to break the communication barrier between man and God due to sin. Once that barrier is broken, it will be possible to break the communication barrier among fellow brethren. The fact that Jesus paid this price underscores the importance of love and unity among brethren. No man can claim to be godly without conscious and deliberate commitment to living in peace and love with fellow brethren and neighbours. A graceless person will be content with disunity and loveless relationships while true grace makes true reconciliation possible. Jacob initiated it and this shows he had grace. He first settled the problem in the spiritual realm by wrestling with God on a lonely night at Jabbok. His personal encounter with God first changed his life, blew his ego to the wind of heaven, brought a deep transformation into his life and melted his hardened heart of deception. The change must start with you. The godly who desires to live at peace and pleases God must be ready to pray through until his heart is melted with the grace to forgive, forget and fall into the love of God. Ego or self is often the main problem that must bow in order to live at peace and unity. b. For the first time after 20 years, Jacob opted to take the lead by asking for a face to face meeting with his estranged brother and bridge the communication gap. *"And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee?"*. Take the godly initiative and step: bridge the Communication Gap. Sink all your pride, anger, hatred, bitterness and desire for revenge at the cross and take the initiative. Unknown to him, Esau, though a violent man, secretly desired peace too. It only takes one to bell the cat. Surprisingly, the God of peace that had broken Jacob at the altar of prayer and grace had also dealt with Esau too. Broken communication became mended. *"And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant"*. In bringing peace to a troubled or broken relationship, there may be the need to bring a third party that is respected by both sides and has the wisdom and grace to mend relationships. *Question* Are you willing to please and bridge the communication gap with someone? How do you want to demonstrate your willingness? *2. Bind Your Character with Grace* a. Jacob had trained all his wives and children on how to show respect and give honour to the one who had been hurt and might be breathing out revenge and anger. It was not the time prove who was wrong or right. In reconciliation, self defence is minimized. *"Why do ye not rather accept wrong? Why not rather let yourselves suffer wrong and be deprived of what is your due? Why do you not rather take wrong?"* (1Corinthians 6:7). The crucified saint will be willing to accept blame even when he is not convinced that he is wrong for the sake of peace. This is where grace is also needed. *"Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves"*. All the people with Jacob went humbly and bowed to their Daddy's brother. Jacob had depoisoned the hearts of his people so that they could sincerely give the needed and expected honour to Esau. The peaceful person will not be a hypocritical person who will pretend to seek for peace and unity and privately he will be poisoning the hearts of others. b. Humility is an essential part of living in love and unity and building again love and unity in a broken relationship. Many apologies, though may be simple, have a way of healing hurt hearts and broken bones and barriers in relationships. It takes humility to bend when the other person is standing on his points which may even be wrong and unacceptable altogether. *"The fruit of peace is shown by them which make peace"*. *"Blessed are the peace makers for they shall be called the children of GOD"*. *Question* Are you willing to pay the price of love and unity so that your life receives the immeasurable blessings of obedience to God or you still want to stick to your gun and end up in perdition? *3. Bless Your Companion With Gifts* God paid the price of reconciliation with man by giving us the gift of Jesus Christ and all other spiritual and earthly gifts and blessings. True reconciliation must also be sealed up with exchange and acceptance of godly and helpful gifts. Jacob was smart to have prepared gifts for Esau ahead of their encounter. In fact, at first, Esau wanted to wisely reject the gifts. If he had refused, then know that the problem was only solved superficially. *"And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord"*. The Scripture says, *"A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men"* (Proverbs 18:16). It is not how much that is affordable, but the heart of love and reconciliation that is behind it. Jacob insisted that the gift should be taken though Esau himself was well to do. *"Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it"*. Look at the choice of words of wisdom and humility of Jacob. He was not using words that will fuel the ember of hatred, but words that will calm down nerves. *"A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1). Apart from exchanging and acceptance of gifts and visits, true reconciliation will also be manifested by willingness to walk together and experience godly partnership. *"And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go"*. *Question* How genuine was your previous reconciliation with others? *Prayer Points* 1.Father, examine my heart, expose and remove all tendencies in me contrary to abiding in love and unity 🙏. 2.Lord, give me a definite life changing encounter like Jacob that will make me full of grace to initiate and advance peace and love in my family, church and community 🙏. 3.Make me a peacemaker and promoter of reconciliation among people 🙏. 4.Lord, visit all families with broken relationships and help all to open up to true communication and reconciliations 🙏. *HYMN:* Let love be among us *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* JOB 38-42. What began in Eden points to Calvary. There is a beautiful biblical connection between Adam and Christ that helps us see the story of Scripture as one unfolding story of redemption. In Genesis 2:21–22, God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep, took one of his ribs, and made the woman from his side. Eve became Adam’s bride. Then, at Calvary, John 19:34 tells us that a soldier pierced Jesus’ side, and blood and water came out. Paul calls Adam a “type of the one who was to come” (Romans 5:14), and he presents Christ and the Church in the language of Bridegroom and Bride (Ephesians 5:25–32). Adam’s side was opened, and a bride was given to him. Christ’s side was pierced as He gave Himself for His Bride. And Scripture tells us that Christ “loved the church and gave himself up for her” (Ephesians 5:25). From Genesis to the cross, we see the heart of God revealed: Christ came to redeem a people for Himself—a Bride He loved enough to die for. Eden points forward. Calvary fulfills. And Christ is coming again for His Bride. The story of Scripture is a story of redemption, and at the center of it stands Jesus. 🤍🙏🏻

The Joy of Being Mentored. Human resource is an integral part of success. As you go up you need people to support your ladder of success. The saying goes, “Be good to people on your way up, because you will meet them on your way down.” No man has ever made it in his/her own however talented. God gives His servants people to support their endeavors because no single individual knows everything. One is an expert in this, and another an expert in that. You need to bring all their ideas on board to build your tower. Hence, the adage, “Together we are rock but singly you are sand”. Sand has never supported a foundation by itself. Christ Jesus taught, “Therefore whoever hears these words of mine and does them, I’ll liken him to a wise man that built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and floods came, and wind blew and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And everyone that hears not these words of mine, and does them not, shall be likened to a foolish man who built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.” (Mathew 7:24-27). Almighty God puts this precious resource into your life to bless your life, and as you prosper you also bless other lives. And to lead a people you must be a leader. And to be a leader one must learn leadership skills from the leader. It takes following those who have gone before us to enter a city. This is called mentoring. The Scripture teaches, “That the heir, as long is a child, differs not from the servant, though he be lord of all; but is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father”(Galatians 4:1-2). This is also true of Father God: those whom He calls, He puts under the tutoring of men and the Holy Spirit until they fulfill His purpose on earth. Therefore, to ascend to greatness, mentoring is part and parcel of the process. A mentor is simply a guide or adviser. She/he is someone used by God to pull you up from a lowly life. You need someone who has been there to take hold of your hand and lead you to the top of the mountain. It takes following the King to enter the palace gates. In our calling, we are all called forth as little children but it takes tutoring and lessons from those who have gone before us to realize our dreams. Greatness is a product of growth. During our growth, we follow the leaders who have gone before us to be like them if not better. The Scripture reminds us that, “He that walks with the wise men shall be wise; but a companion of fools shall be destroyed”. (Proverbs 13:20). It takes following the wise to be wise. And the wise are also the great of the earth. They lead the way for others to follow onto their footsteps. The Scripture therefore warns that, “_____He that follows vain persons is void of understanding” (Proverbs 12:11). But cursed is everyone that follows after strong drinks. The Scripture laments, “Woe to them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow after strong drinks; that continue until night till wine inflame them” (Isaiah 5:11).

Need to know. THE GRANDEST INVITATION "Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready." — Revelation 19:7 In our world, wedding invitations carry weight. We check our calendars, coordinate attire, and prepare gifts to honor the couple. Yet the most magnificent celebration in human history—the Marriage Supper of the Lamb—requires a far different kind of preparation. Revelation 19 shifts the cosmic scene from the fall of earthly empires to an outburst of unhindered praise. The long-awaited climax of history arrives not as a political conquest, but as a wedding feast. Jesus, the Lamb who was slain to purchase humanity with His blood, is revealed as the Bridegroom. The Church—every believer across time—is His bride. This short verse carries three deep spiritual movements for your day: Rejoice and Be Glad: True Christian joy is grounded in an unshakable future. Whatever hardship or disappointment you face today, it is not the final chapter of your story. The end of history is a feast, not a famine. Give Him Glory: Salvation is entirely God’s initiative. We do not earn our place at this table; we are invited by grace. Make Yourself Ready: The bride's readiness is both a gift and a pursuit. In the very next verse, Revelation notes that her fine linen is given to her, representing the righteous acts of God's holy people. To be ready for the Bridegroom means living today in light of eternity. It means letting love, purity, and devotion shape how you treat others, manage your time, and guard your heart. You are not waiting aimlessly; you are preparing for a wedding. Take time today to consider what temporary worry or distraction is currently competing for the joy that belongs to your eternal future, and how you can actively make yourself ready in your daily decisions and relationships. Heavenly Father, thank You for inviting me to Your eternal feast through Jesus Christ, the Lamb. When the cares of this world feel heavy, lift my eyes to the joy that awaits me. Purify my heart today, align my desires with Your kingdom, and help me live with expectant hope. Let my life reflect the grace and righteousness You have so generously given me. Amen.

Let's talk about it. What if the greatest problem in our lives isn't that we have too little time for God? What if the problem is that 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲? We still pray. We still worship. We still read our Bibles. We still go to church. We still serve. But somewhere along the way, God becomes something we fit into our lives rather than the One around whom our lives are built. And Numbers 1 gives us a picture that we should not miss. When Israel was in the wilderness, God gave Moses specific instructions concerning the tabernacle. The Levites were to camp around it. And the rest of Israel was to camp according to their tribes and standards. Why? Because the tabernacle—the place representing God's dwelling among His people was at the center. Israel's camp was not randomly arranged. Their lives were literally organized around the presence of God. The Lord said: “𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆...” (v53) Think about the picture. The tabernacle was in the middle. The Levites surrounded it. The tribes surrounded them. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. That was more than an arrangement of tents. It was a picture of how God's people were meant to live. God was not supposed to be somewhere on the edge of Israel's life. He was not an afterthought. He was not something they visited when they had time. 𝗛𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿. And perhaps that is where we need to stop and look at our own lives. Because whatever sits at the center of your life will eventually determine the direction of everything around it. If comfort is at the center, your decisions will revolve around comfort. If money is at the center, your life will revolve around gaining and protecting it. If approval is at the center, your peace will depend on what people think of you. If success is at the center, your worth will rise and fall with your achievements. Even ministry can become the center. Even family can become the center. Even good things can take the place that belongs to God. When God is no longer at the center, everything else slowly begins to take a place it was never meant to occupy. Israel's arrangement in Numbers reminds us of something we often forget: God was not meant to be placed somewhere within the arrangement of our lives. He is meant to be the center around which our entire lives are ordered. But here's where the gospel becomes beautiful. God didn't merely tell Israel to arrange their camp around His presence. 𝗛𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺. And then, centuries later, something even greater happened. John 1:14 says: “𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝘄𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀.” The God who dwelt among Israel in the tabernacle came near to us in Jesus. Christ entered our wilderness. He came into our brokenness. He came into our disorder. And He came not merely to become part of our lives, but to become the center of them. God can be in our lives without being at the center of our lives. You can give Him an hour on Sabbath and still organize the rest of your week around yourself. You can pray to Him and still make every major decision without Him. You can serve Him and still build your identity around something else. You can carry His Word and still arrange your life around your own desires. So today, don't simply ask: “Where is God in my life?” Ask: “What is my life arranged around?” What sits at the center? What determines my priorities? What controls my decisions? What gives me my sense of worth? Because whatever is at the center will eventually shape everything around it. Israel had a center. And that center was the dwelling place of God. We have Christ. So let Him be more than a part of your life. Let Him be the One your life revolves around. Not in the background. Not on the edge. Not when you have time. 𝗔𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿. Because when Christ is at the center, everything else can finally find its proper place.

The Advent Truth. The devil wants you to believe you’ve gone too far. Jesus says, “Come unto Me.” Maybe you’ve fallen. Maybe you’ve stumbled again. Maybe you’re tired of fighting the same battle. But hear this: the very fact that you’re still fighting is evidence that the Holy Spirit hasn’t given up on you. Jesus is still your High Priest. He still presents His blood before the Father on behalf of those who come to Him in repentance (Hebrews 7:25; 1 John 2:1-2). As long as there’s breath in your lungs, there’s still an invitation to receive His grace. Yes, we’re living in serious times. Prophecy is being fulfilled. The world is growing darker. But if all you do is stare at the storm, fear will consume you. Keep your eyes on the One who walks on the water. Revelation repeatedly says, “To him who overcomes…” The Greek idea isn’t describing someone who never falls. It’s describing the one who keeps overcoming—the one who refuses to quit. Proverbs 24:16 says, “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again.” The righteous are not those who never fall; they’re the ones who, by God’s grace, keep getting back up. So when Satan whispers, “Stay down. God is finished with you,” answer him with the promises of Christ. Repent. Get back up. Keep walking. Keep trusting. Keep surrendering. Victory isn’t found in your strength. It’s found in abiding in Jesus. TUESDAY 18TH AUGUST 2026 Topic: Do Not Let One Failure Define You Bible Reference “For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity.” Proverbs 24:16 (NKJV) A Short Story David had failed an important examination. He had studied, but not as much as he should have. When the result came out, the score was far below what he expected. He stared at the result for several minutes. He felt ashamed. Some of his friends had done well, and he could not stop comparing himself with them. When he got home, he threw his school bag on the floor and sat quietly. His mother noticed that something was wrong, but David did not want to talk. That night, he began thinking about himself differently. He started telling himself that perhaps he was not intelligent enough. Maybe he would always struggle. Maybe success was simply not meant for him. The failure had lasted only one examination, but David had allowed it to become a description of his entire life. The following morning, his youth leader called him. David explained what had happened. After listening to him, the youth leader said, “You failed an examination. You are not a failure.” Those words stayed with David. He went back to his books. This time, he changed his study habits. He asked questions when he did not understand something and stopped pretending that he understood what he did not. Months later, he sat for another examination. His result was much better. David learned something important. Falling was not the end of his story. Refusing to rise would have been. Today's Message Failure can make you question yourself. One mistake can make you believe that you are incapable of succeeding. But your failure is an event, not your identity. The Bible says that a righteous person may fall and still rise again. Notice that the scripture does not say the righteous never fall. It says they rise. God is not looking for people who have never made mistakes. He is looking for people who are willing to learn, repent when necessary, grow, and continue walking with Him. You may have failed in school, business, ministry, a relationship, or an important decision. You may have disappointed yourself. But do not allow one bad season to convince you that your entire future is ruined. Learn from what happened. Correct what needs to be corrected. Ask God for wisdom, and get up again. Your story is not over because you fell. What To Do Today 1. Identify what your failure taught you instead of only thinking about what you lost. 2. Correct one mistake that contributed to the failure. 3. Stop calling yourself what God has not called you. 4. Take another step instead of remaining discouraged. Prayer Lord, give me the strength to rise whenever I fall. Help me to learn from my mistakes without allowing them to destroy my confidence.
