• * DAILY PRAYER DEVOTIONAL MONDAY 22TH. JUNE 2026*

*THEME: SATAN – THE ENEMY OF HUMANITY*
    *TEXT: John 10:10*
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

    *DAILY READING*
    Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:12-19; Revelation 12:7-12

    * A THIEF IS DANGEROUS TO THE SOCIETY*

Many people speak about Satan casually, while others deny his existence completely. Yet the Bible presents Satan as a real spiritual being who is actively working against God's purposes and against humanity.

In many African, Asian, European communities, people attribute every problem to witches and wizards. While witchcraft is real, believers must understand that Satan is the chief enemy behind every kingdom of darkness. He is the mastermind of rebellion against God and the leader of demonic forces.

The name Satan means "adversary" or "opponent." His mission is to oppose God and everything that reflects God's glory. From the Garden of Eden, Satan has sought to deceive mankind, corrupt destinies, destroy families, attack ministries, and keep people away from salvation.

The devil operates through deception. He convinces people that sin is harmless, that repentance can be postponed, and that they can live without God. He promotes pride, rebellion, immorality, hatred, occultism, and unbelief.

Many people become vulnerable to satanic influence through persistent sin, occult involvement, ungodly associations, and rejection of God's Word. Satan cannot force a believer to sin, but he constantly seeks opportunities to tempt, deceive, and weaken spiritual lives.

The good news is that Jesus Christ came to destroy the works of the devil. Through His death and resurrection, Christ defeated Satan and gave believers authority over all the powers of darkness.

The Christian's responsibility is not to fear Satan but to resist him through faith, obedience, prayer, and the Word of God. The devil remains active, but he is a defeated enemy before the power of Jesus Christ.

    *Additional Bible References*

    Genesis 3:1-6
*"Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"*

(Continue reading through verse 6 to see how Satan used deception to lead humanity into sin.)

    1 Peter 5:8-9
*"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:*
*Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world."*

    James 4:7
*"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*

    1 John 3:8
*"He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."*

    Luke 10:19
*"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."*

    •Treasure in Heaven
When we hear the word 'treasure,' we often think of money and property. However, all these things will pass away. What is truly worth saving is treasure in heaven, which can never be lost.
    •God’s Provision
God will provide everything we need; therefore, there is nothing to worry about.
    •Seeking God First
Seek first the Kingdom of God, and your prayers will be answered according to His will. Have faith.

  • Hope for the People of God

I speak today as one who, like you, walks through a broken and suffering world, yet holds firmly to a living hope. When the apostle John was exiled on the island of Patmos—persecuted, isolated, and cut off—he was “in the Spirit” (Revelation 1:10). In that place of hardship, God opened his eyes to a glorious future. Revelation 7:17 is not a distant dream; it is God’s promised destiny for His suffering people.

John saw a great multitude standing before the throne of God and before the Lamb (Revelation 7:9). These were people who “came out of the great tribulation” (Revelation 7:14). They were not spared from suffering; they were sustained through it. And in the center of the throne stood the Lamb—Jesus Christ—who paradoxically is both Lamb and Shepherd.
Revelation 7:17 declares: “For the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd; He will guide them to springs of the water of life. And God will wipe every tear from their eyes.” This fulfills Psalm 23:1–2, where the Lord is our Shepherd, and Isaiah 25:8, where God promises to swallow up death and wipe away tears. What I see here is a future where pain no longer defines us, and sorrow no longer speaks the final word.

The Lamb who was slain (Revelation 5:6) revelation 1:18 ; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades. nowHe reigns. The One who suffered injustice now brings eternal justice. The Shepherd who laid down His life (John 10:11) now leads His people to everlasting life (John 4:14).

    Hope for the Saints.
As I look at the world today—persecution of believers, rejection of truth, suffering for righteousness—I recognize the same pattern John saw. Jesus told us, “In this world you will have tribulation” (John 16:33). Yet He also said, “Take heart; I have overcome the world.” Our tears today are real. Our trials are heavy. But they are temporary. Paul reminds us that “the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed” (Romans 8:18).

This vision calls me to endurance. I am reminded that faithfulness in suffering is not wasted. Every tear I shed is seen by God (Psalm 56:8). Every burden I carry will one day be lifted. This hope empowers me to remain faithful, to worship even in pain, and to follow the Lamb wherever He goes (Revelation 14:4).

As God’s people, we live between suffering and glory. We are not defeated pilgrims; we are hopeful saints. I endure persecution with confidence, knowing my Shepherd is guiding me. I walk through tribulation with assurance, knowing a day is coming when God Himself will wipe away every tear. This is our future. This is our hope. And this hope will never disappoint (Romans 5:5). #God #jesus #Godblesseveryone #jesuschrist #Godisgood

  • Good morning God

    Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with humble and repentant hearts, recognizing how weak and imperfect we are in loving one another. You have shown us the true meaning of love through Your Word, yet we confess that our love often fails. We are quick to lose patience, slow to show kindness, and easily drawn into pride, envy, and self-interest. Forgive us, Lord, for the many ways we fall short of the love described in 1 Corinthians 13:4–7—love that is patient and kind, not boastful or proud, not rude or self-seeking.

Father, we acknowledge that genuine love does not come from our human effort, but from You alone. Your Word says that You have poured Your love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). Therefore, we ask You to pour out Your divine grace upon us afresh. Holy Spirit, come and dwell deeply within us. Transform our hearts and renew our minds so that we may reflect the character of Christ in our daily lives (Romans 12:2).

Lord Jesus, teach us to walk in love as You loved us and gave Yourself for us (Ephesians 5:2). When we are tempted to insist on our own way, help us to walk in humility and to consider others above ourselves (Philippians 2:3–4). When we feel irritable or resentful, remind us of Your forgiveness and give us grace to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). Let our love not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoice in the truth, guided by Your Word (Psalm 119:160).

Father, form within us a love that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Let the fruit of the Spirit—especially love—be evident in us (Galatians 5:22). May the love of Christ rule our hearts and bind us together in perfect unity (Colossians 3:14).

We surrender ourselves to Your work in us, trusting that You will complete what You have begun (Philippians 1:6).

In the precious name of Jesus Amen .

  • good morning God

    Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You in awe and wonder, for “the heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork” (Psalm 19:1). Lord, Your creation speaks louder than words. Every sunrise whispers Your faithfulness, every mountain testifies to Your strength, and every star announces Your majesty. The beauty around me is not accidental—it reveals Your existence, Your wisdom, and Your eternal power.

Father, Your Word says, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made” (Romans 1:20). When I look at the skies, the oceans, the forests, and the countless wonders of life, I am reminded that You are the Creator who holds all things together (Colossians 1:16–17).

Lord, creation teaches me that You are wise and intentional. “O Lord, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all” (Psalm 104:24). The order of the universe, the delicacy of nature, and the rhythm of seasons all reflect Your perfect design.

Help my heart to stay sensitive to the messages of Your creation. Let me never overlook the beauty You place around me daily. Open my eyes to see Your fingerprints in every detail and increase my faith as I observe Your works.

Thank You, Father, for revealing Yourself through the world You made. May my life echo the heavens by declaring Your glory in all I do.

    In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

  • Good morning God

    Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a humble and grateful heart, thanking You for Your unfailing love and for the blessed hope we have in our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Word in Jude 20–21 reminds me to build myself up in the most holy faith, to pray in the Holy Spirit, and to remain in Your perfect love as I wait for the mercy that leads to eternal life. Lord, I ask that You fill my heart with divine power, the power that comes only from Your Spirit.

Strengthen my faith so that it becomes unshakable—rooted deeply in Your truth and nourished by constant communion with You. Help me to pray with sincerity, guided by the Holy Spirit, so that my prayers align with Your will and carry heavenly authority. Teach me to keep myself in Your love, to walk in obedience, purity, and devotion, even when I am surrounded by distractions or discouragement.

Father, empower me to stand firm, to grow spiritually, and to be courageous in the face of challenges. Let Your mercy continually renew my hope and remind me of the eternal life You have promised. Make my heart sensitive to Your presence, bold in faith, and overflowing with love for You and for others.

Lord, fill me with divine strength, divine wisdom, and divine perseverance so that I may glorify You in all things. I surrender myself to Your will and trust that You will complete the good work You have started in me.

In Jesus’ mighty name I pray,
    Amen. #God #Godblesseveryone #jesus #jesuslovesyou #prayer
