• Our hero makes a cup of Turkish coffee, gets his pack of cigarettes, and goes into his room, responding to some emails and messages, then goes to exercise in his home gym; the workout is the same with dumbbells, sometimes light barbell deadlifts, and simple moves with weights.
He posts the workout live on YouTube; he has a YouTube channel, even though he does not know why he cares, but it gives him something to do when there is no work; it was a Monday; that's when he goes to church for bible study and a family prayer meeting.

Being a Coptic Orthodox Christian is different; he loves the church, but he is always uneasy and confused and does not know where he stands about his faith; he believes in the creed.

He was born on 9/9/1986; now he is 39 years old, has a lot more wisdom and knowledge about life and work, and he tries to follow Christ, but he always feels like he is not doing enough; being with mental illness determines what he can and cannot do, although he may pass as totally normal.

It goes into his head: what is normal, who defines it, or how being normal can be defined; he is like 60% analytical, and the rest is just total and utterly unrealistic “he is out of his mind in the remaining 40%.”

He comes back from church, takes his medication, and goes to sleep. He dreams of his father; they are having a conversation. Before he gets up, he tells his father I will talk to you when I get up, that is weird.
    :
His father passed away like 10 years ago, and before that he had progressive supranuclear palsy and became paralyzed for the last 10 years of his life.

This is the way with dreams, unrealistic and never complete, but sometimes his thinking is more unrealistic than his dreams.
But if you ask him what his dreams are, he will not be able to answer; this is a question that he never had an answer to.

Others dream of fame and fortune, but he thinks being unknown is amazing. Money for what? All lives start the same and end the same; money can buy luxuries that are unessential, and the most expensive foods, which go down the same.

The world is fascinated with Alion Musk, President Trump and Mohamed Slah, without noticing the sacrifices they had to make, to live for their work and it only, they may look happy, they do what they love so they are happy, so do the work that makes you happy, but life and work is not that simple, young adults get married and within after 9 months their first born, they are not ready, but it is dictated by the community they live in, and it is a disaster not to have kids after 2 years of marriage, that is if the relationship happens in the context of marriage.

This is thought that passed through his head, he realizes that he does not conform with his community and church, he grew up in a mix of ideas and beliefs, adding to that the tragedies that happened in his life, these morphed the person he is now, he believes in Christ, he loves others as he loves himself, but he knows that not one denomination has a monopoly on Christianity and that only God knows the hearts of his creation.

But when he enters his church, he feels that God is truly present with him. When he listens to Christian songs that praise and glorify God, his spirit rejoices, and he feels a deep sense of peace and closeness to Him. He is also inspired by the way Catholics serve their communities, helping those in need and putting their faith into action through love, compassion, and service.

But all these thoughts just hit a wall when he tries to articulate them to someone, specially to Orthodox and Catholics, he sees great understanding in Evangelicals.

He realizes that those thoughts pop up because he has not gotten a project in a long time, but that is freelancing for you, he was unable to hold a steady paying job for more than 5 days, most of those was call center jobs, others were busboy jobs, he did not understand life as he does now.

He works from home, but like all freelance jobs there is no steady salary, that is a problem for when and if the miracle happens and he finds a wife, it is not only the age and work it is also the medication he must take.

May be deep down he think he does not deserve love; he cannot imagine his life with a wife and kids, how can he have children to face this life in this world, how can he repeat the cycle, and of course his feelings of impending doom and end, he is fascinated with Bible prophesy and the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Today he has a confession, he goes in and tries his best, he confesses his hesitation in the Orthodox faith, and that he cannot fast and be ready for communion, with his condition and all.

He is sure of one thing that gods answer his prayers all of them, something happens and he remembers he prayed for that a long time ago, some answers are in the way.

The medication timing can make or break the patient’s life, taking a sedating medication in the morning is very counterproductive, and if psychiatrists have their way all patients will be walking zombies, he sees this happens.

Talking about the hospital, anyone how goes there may see it as a horrible place, he sees it as therapeutic, when you see people who can’t walk or unable to take care of their basic needs you really thank God for everything you can do and have.

He sometimes thinks of his father and the cross he caried, to be totally paralyzed for 9 years, unable to speak, unable to move, unable to eat sold food, his father was a good man, he has his downfalls, but he had a good heart.

Our hero remembers his first day in university, he was young and outright weird, with his father in this condition, he was unable to adapt, this is when his illness started, he tried his best to study but after his father passed away, he left this university in his third year.

At the beginning of his healing journey his psychologist and mother were trying to push him to have a social life, like going to church meetings and university and other social events, she is a virtuous woman but narrowminded.

  • I wrote this song through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, with a message that is deeply rooted in the journey of purpose:
What God has ordained for you may not happen in a hurry.
Never despise the authenticity of a vision simply because it is taking time to manifest. In life, great things are rarely accomplished in haste. There is a process attached to every genuine assignment.
Think about Jesus—God Himself—who came to the earth as a baby. He embraced the entire process of growth, both physically and spiritually, until He came into the fullness of His assignment.
There is power in waiting on God.
The waiting season is not a wasted season. It is where God develops our character, builds our stamina, strengthens our faith, and prepares us to do great exploits.
Embrace the process. Trust the timing. Honour the waiting.
What God has shown you will come to pass in His appointed time.
    God bless you.

  • The Battle May Come, But It Won’t Have the Final Word

God never promised that challenges would never come. He promised that they would not have the power to destroy His purpose for your life.

    Isaiah 54:17 reminds us:
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper…”

Sometimes opposition can make you question whether God is still with you. People may misunderstand you, speak against you, or situations may suddenly become difficult. But remember this: the presence of a battle does not mean the absence of God.

You don't have to respond to every accusation. You don't have to prove your heart to everyone. Keep walking in truth. Keep praying. Keep your peace. Let God handle what you cannot control.

What looks like a setback today may become part of your testimony tomorrow.

    Life Lesson:
Don't measure God's protection by the absence of battles. Measure it by the strength He gives you to overcome them.

    Let's Pray
Father, thank You for being my refuge and defender. When challenges arise, give me wisdom, courage, and peace. Protect me and my loved ones from every plan meant for harm, and turn every difficult season into a testimony of Your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

If you believe God is fighting for you, declare: “The battle may come, but it will not defeat me. God is with me!”

  • last year the lord gave me a wisdom of our heavenly building, which has to do with an open heaven, the Rapture that is a spiritual clothing, that is the first step to come into the ARK, the only thing that can take away this pure spiritual cloth from you is sin, but each time you sin, ask the lord for mercy and get cloth up again, it just like the cloth you wear everyday, but it spiritual, now if you are here and you have not prayed this prayer, now is the right time for you to do so, ask the lord Jesus to cloth you with the spirit of immortality according to his word in the book of 1 Corinthians 15:54, make sure you pray in the tongues of the HOLYGHOST, I remember when this prayer came out first many ignored it, but now it has circulated, and even famous men of GOD are now using it every where but they never bothered where the wisdom came from, but that is not the end of it all, I have a lot to tell the church, if you have not prayed the prayer of the spirit of immortality pls get spiritually clothup!! after your prayers observe what the lord revealed to you, but mind you be conscious of those whom Satan will assign to come and steal your dreams or revelation, that is if you live around evil or bad people, do not give chance for that, pray against them before going to bed and cover your selves!!!

  • “The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; on that day the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, the elements will burn and be dissolved, and the earth and the works on it will be disclosed.” — 2 Peter 3:9–10 (CSB)

God’s apparent delay is not forgetfulness or weakness—it is an expression of His patience and mercy, giving people opportunity to repent and turn to Him. Yet His patience should never be mistaken for the absence of coming judgment; Peter warns that the day of the Lord will arrive unexpectedly. These verses hold grace and judgment together: God patiently offers salvation today, but we are not promised tomorrow. They remind us to live ready, share the gospel faithfully, and never take God’s mercy for granted.

  • What Does It Mean To Be Saved?

To be saved means to be rescued by God from the penalty, power, and ultimately the presence of sin, and brought into a right relationship with Himself through Jesus Christ alone.

The Problem: Why You Need to Be Saved

All humans are born under the curse of Adam's sin. Because God is holy and just, sin separates you from Him and places you under His righteous judgment (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23). You cannot save yourself by being good enough, religious enough, or sincere enough. Your best works are like filthy rags before a perfectly holy God (Isaiah 64:6).

    What Salvation Is

Salvation is God's act of rescuing sinners through the finished work of Jesus Christ. It involves several realities that happen together:

Regeneration (New Birth): The Holy Spirit gives you new spiritual life. You are born again. Apart from this, you are dead in your trespasses and unable to seek God on your own (Ephesians 2:1-5, John 3:3-8).

Faith and Repentance: You respond to the gospel by turning from sin (repentance) and trusting in Christ alone (faith). These are two sides of the same movement—turning from sin and to the Savior (Acts 20:21, Romans 10:9-10).

Justification: God declares you righteous, not because of anything in you, but because Christ's perfect righteousness is credited to your account and His punishment for your sin is credited to Christ. You stand before God as if you had never sinned, clothed in Christ's righteousness (Romans 3:24-26, 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Adoption: You are brought into God's family as a beloved child. You are no longer an enemy but an heir (Galatians 4:4-7, Romans 8:15-17).

Sanctification: The Holy Spirit begins the lifelong work of making you actually holy in your daily life, conforming you to the image of Christ (Philippians 2:12-13, Romans 8:29).

Glorification: At Christ's return, you will receive a resurrected body, free from all sin, suffering, and death. This is the final completion of salvation (Romans 8:30, 1 Corinthians 15:52-54).

    How You Are Saved

By grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, for the glory of God alone. There is no other name under heaven by which you can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is entirely God's work from start to finish. You contribute nothing to your rescue except the sin that made it necessary.

What Salvation Looks Like in a Person's Life

A truly saved person will bear fruit. This does not mean perfection, but it does mean a changed life—a growing hatred of sin, a growing love for God and His people, and a persistent faith that endures to the end (James 2:17, 1 John 2:3-6, Matthew 7:16-20). If there is no change at all, there is reason to question whether salvation has actually taken place.

    The Bottom Line

To be saved is to be brought from death to life, from condemnation to justification, from slavery to sin to adoption as a child of God, and from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of Christ. It is entirely a work of God's grace, received by faith, and it results in a life that increasingly reflects the supremacy of Christ.

If you are asking this for yourself: repent of your sin, trust in Christ's death and resurrection alone, and you will be saved.

  • JEHOVAH TSIDKENU—The Lord Our Righteousness.

There are days when the weight of our mistakes tries to convince us that we could never be worthy of God’s love. But the cross tells a different story.

We are not made right with God because we have lived perfectly, worked hard enough, or earned His approval. We are made right because Jesus took our sin upon Himself and clothed us in His righteousness.

“This is the name by which He will be called: The Lord Our Righteousness.” — Jeremiah 23:6

At the cross, our guilt met His grace. Our shame met His mercy. Our brokenness met His perfect love. We no longer have to hide from the Father—we can come boldly before Him, covered by what Christ has done.

Today, stop trying to prove that you are worthy. Lay every failure at the feet of Jesus and receive the gift only He can give.

    Not my righteousness, but His.
Not my perfection, but His grace.
Not my strength, but His finished work.

We are His. We are forgiven. We are made right.

  • A brotherhood that tested every piece of my soul in combat never prepared me for the pain of having my family stuck in limbo.

My name is Jesse Preston. I spent 14 years on Active Duty in the U.S. Army, Airborne and Air Assault qualified. I served three combat tours in Iraq between 2003 and 2010, and a tour in South Korea in 2007. I bled, sacrificed, and gave over a decade of my life in service to the United States because I believed in honor, loyalty, and standing up for what is right.

Now, I am fighting the hardest battle of my life—and it isn’t on a battlefield. It’s for my own family.

Since November 2023, I have been living abroad because I refuse to abandon my wife, Miheret Beksissa, and our baby daughter, Jessica. Imagine if I had listened to the system and waited back home in America alone, staring at an empty nursery, thousands of miles away from my infant child and the woman God gave me to protect. A combat veteran doesn’t leave his family behind.

We did everything right. We followed every single law. We poured our hard-earned money—over $4,000 just to begin the I-130 and DS-260 with our lawyer, paid every required government fee, and paid another $1,500 for our daughter’s CRBA and U.S. passport. Jessica is a U.S. citizen. Miheret was approved for her immigrant visa through our marriage.

Our journey started in January 2024, and we were so close to coming home. But because immigrant visas for Ethiopians were paused under the current administration policy, our life is on hold. The process is dragging out indefinitely, leaving us stranded in uncertainty.

We are devout, faithful Christians who just want to raise our daughter in the country I wore the uniform to defend. Every day, I look at my daughter and my wife, and my heart breaks knowing that the very system I served is keeping us from starting our life together on American soil.

Please, brothers and sisters, pray for us. Pray that the doors are opened, that red tape is cut, and that our family can finally go home to America together. If this touches your heart, please share our story.

    Pray for us!
A brotherhood that tested every piece of my soul in combat never prepared me for the pain of having my family stuck in limbo.

  • THE LORDSHIP OF THE MAN JESUS CHRIST IS BASIC
One of things the Devil fears the most is our understanding of the man Jesus Christ; who He is to the believer. The Bible says God has made this man—Jesus Christ—both Lord and Christ. Did you notice the order it arranges these titles? Lord and then Christ (that is, Messiah or Saviour)
Many want Jesus to be their Saviour but they do not want Him as their Lord. That is why they jump from prophets to prophets, prayer meetings to prayer meetings, all in search of solutions. They want Jesus to save them but He must never dictate to them. But He must your Lord before He can save you. If you will not trust Him enough to accept that He knows the way, how can He rescue you from drowning? Yet this same people will not argue with their doctor!
The Lordship of Christ is where the power in Christianity is. You must surrender your will to that of Christ to become powerful. God’s power is manifestly strong only when you become weak in the eyes of man.
In the eyes of the world, you will look weak and powerless but this is the exact position that qualifies you for God’s divine visitation and intervention. Jesus said He has not come to call the righteous to repentance. He hasn’t come to save those who believes they are strong enough to save themselves either.
Who will teach this generation the dynamics of power? To be strong, you have to be ready to look weak, to be rich you have to be willing to become poor. To be known, you have to be ready to become unknown, while following Christ. This is God’s way. It is called the way of the Cross. Until you learn it, you remain in the wilderness.
