THE POWER OF NEGOTIATION. Prt5.
As we round up on this topic, I would like to share something with you that will change your life forever, only when you understand it.
There is a man in scripture who became a fugitive and a vagabond. He was cursed and marked by God almighty Himself. That man is called Cain. Gen.4:10-12. He was punished because he killed his brother and also lied about it. But there is something about Cain's life after this event.
Genesis 4:17 KJV
And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
Even after God Almighty cursed, marked and drove him away, and without the HolySpirit, no speaking in tongues, no Bible study nor attending services everyday of the week; yet Cain was able to:
- Pregnant his wife.
- Had a son - Enoch and
- Built a City.
Think about it, how's that possible? Under THE CURSE FROM THE ALMIGHTY, YET HE SUCCEEDED. How possible? Think about it again.
This is how: CAIN TURNED HIS DESTINY AROUND BY NEGOTIATING WITH LIFE - WITH THE EARTH. All odds was against him but never did he cried out to God once or prayed to anything. I believe HE SIMPLY ENGAGED THE POWER OF NEGOTIATION. He didn't accept the consequence of the verdict, he negotiated his way around it.
You were cursed by a man - Alfa, Pastor, Prophet and your life became grounded. It is because you accepted it and refused to act against it. NO FORCES ON EARTH HAS THE SOLE POWER TO STOP OR FRUSTRATE YOU ONLY IF YOU ACCEPT IT. It takes the engagement of the power of negotiation to rise above the odds against you.
You can negotiate your way out of punishment, out of shame, out of pain etc. It is in your hand. Proverbs 6:5 says: Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter , and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.
Keys For Effective Negotiation.
4. YOU MUST PART WITH SOMETHING. Life is a game of exchange. What you HAVE to part with is key to your part in greatness. You can't approach life with an empty hand. This is the most important key for effective negotiation. One president was told he has been rejected from being president. He went back again and asked: what is the price?
Until you have something to part with, you have no power to sit and negotiate. Do you know why they collect those items in those places before they attend to you? Negotiation comes with a price. Something must leave your hand. Someone must pay for you. The question is therefore, CAN YOU AFFORD IT PRICE?
It's time to get back and negotiate your success, happiness, marriage, greatness and everything in life. Don't just accept all the reports and judgement, turn to the wall and NEGOTIATE it. God bless you richly. Be blessed. Stay Refreshed!
