    #7 Children of God
(Walking in the Light: Studies Through 1 John – 1 John 2:28–3:10)

    Scripture Reading (NKJV):
1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

1 John 2:29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.

1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

1 John 3:3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

1 John 3:4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.

1 John 3:5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.

1 John 3:6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.

1 John 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

1 John 3:10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

    1. Abide in Him Until He Appears
John begins this section by returning to the command that closed the previous one: “abide in Him.” Abiding is not a vague spiritual feeling or a momentary experience. In the setting of 1 John, it means continuing in the apostolic truth about Christ, remaining in fellowship with Him, and refusing the deception of those who deny the Son. The Christian life is sustained by the same Christ in whom it began. John also places this perseverance under the light of Christ’s appearing. The return of Christ is not an ornament attached to Christian doctrine; it gives urgency and direction to Christian living. Those who remain in Christ may face His coming with confidence rather than shame. This confidence is not self-confidence built upon a flawless record. It rests upon Christ our Advocate and is confirmed by a life that continues in Him. A profession of faith that abandons Christ cannot provide biblical assurance. John therefore joins perseverance, assurance, and the second coming: the believer keeps abiding because Christ will appear, and because fellowship with Him makes that appearing a hope rather than a terror.

    2. Born of Him: Righteousness as Fruit, Not Root
John’s reasoning in verse 29 is carefully ordered. He does not say that people become children of God by performing enough righteous deeds. He says that the practice of righteousness reveals that a person “is born of Him.” The new birth is the source; righteous conduct is its fruit. This protects the gospel from two opposite errors. Legalism treats obedience as the price of acceptance with God. Lawlessness treats grace as permission to remain unchanged. John allows neither. The righteousness of Christ is the believer’s only ground of acceptance, yet the Christ who justifies also transforms. Justification and sanctification must be distinguished, but they must never be separated. Good works do not create new life, but new life creates good works. John speaks of “practicing” righteousness because he is describing the settled direction of a life, not claiming that Christians reach sinless perfection. The question is not whether a believer ever sins; John has already said that believers must confess their sins. The question is whether righteousness has become the governing allegiance of the life. Obedience is not the purchase price of sonship. It is family resemblance.

    3. “What Manner of Love”: Children Now, Glory Yet to Come
John does not merely tell believers that God loves them. He calls them to stop and consider what kind of love this is: the Father has bestowed a love that makes rebels His children. This status is not earned, imagined, or merely honorary. “Now we are children of God.” What Paul commonly describes as adoption, John often describes as being born of God. Both truths declare that salvation brings believers into a real filial relationship with the Father. The world does not recognise this identity because it did not recognise Christ. Rejection by the world is therefore not proof that God has abandoned His people; it may reflect the same spiritual blindness that rejected the Son. Yet Christian identity contains both an “already” and a “not yet.” Believers are truly God’s children now, while the fullness of what they shall be has not yet been revealed. At Christ’s appearing, they will be like Him because they will see Him as He is. John is not teaching that creatures become divine in essence. He is speaking of glorification: complete conformity to Christ in holiness, freedom from sin, and life suited to His presence. The Father’s love gives both a present name and a future destiny.

    4. Purifying Hope
The hope of seeing Christ is not meant to produce speculation without obedience. “Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.” Biblical hope is not uncertain wishing. It is confident expectation grounded in God’s promise. Because believers know where salvation is going, they begin to live now in a manner consistent with that destination. The future likeness to Christ exerts a sanctifying pressure upon the present. John’s wording also shows that sanctification involves real Christian effort. The believer purifies himself, yet he does so only because God has made him His child, given him hope, and is transforming him. Grace does not remove human responsibility; it creates and empowers it. This purification includes confession of sin, the rejection of corrupt desires, obedience to God’s Word, and a deliberate refusal to make peace with what Christ came to remove. The standard is not the surrounding culture, nor comparison with other Christians, but Christ Himself: “just as He is pure.” John gives no support to perfectionism, but neither does he leave room for comfortable stagnation. The person who expects to see the pure Christ must desire purity now.

    5. Sin, Lawlessness, and the Mission of the Son
John now defines sin with a severity that modern thought often avoids: “sin is lawlessness.” Sin is more than weakness, poor judgment, or emotional brokenness. Those things may accompany it, but at its heart sin is resistance to the authority of God. His law reveals His holy character and rightful rule; to sin is to act as though the creature may dismiss the Creator’s command. Against this lawlessness John sets the sinless Son. Christ was manifested “to take away our sins,” and “in Him there is no sin.” Only the sinless One could bear the sins of others, and His saving purpose cannot be separated from the destruction of sin’s rule. John therefore says that the one who abides in Christ “does not sin” and that the one who sins has neither seen nor known Him. Read alone, those words might appear to teach that a Christian never commits a sin. But John has already denied sinless claims and instructed believers to confess their sins, resting in Christ their Advocate. His concern here is the continuing practice and dominion of sin. A believer may fall into sin, but cannot settle into it as an accepted way of life. Christ did not come merely to reduce sin’s consequences while leaving its authority untouched. He came to take sins away and to destroy the works of the devil.

    6. God’s Seed and the Two Families
Verse 9 presses the doctrine of regeneration to its moral conclusion. Whoever has been born of God does not continue in sin because God’s “seed” remains in him. John does not fully explain the image here, but its force is plain: the new birth is not a religious costume placed over an unchanged nature. God gives an enduring principle of spiritual life. The statement that the believer “cannot sin” does not mean a physical inability to commit an individual sinful act; John’s own earlier teaching rules that out. It means that the person born of God cannot live under sin as an unbroken, unrepentant, defining pattern. New birth creates a holy contradiction between the believer and the sin that still remains. John then speaks with startling clarity of two families: the children of God and the children of the devil. This is moral and spiritual lineage, not physical descent, and it does not make the devil a rival god. He is a creature and a rebel. Yet his children bear his resemblance through lawlessness, while God’s children increasingly bear the Father’s resemblance through righteousness and love. There is no morally empty Christian identity in this passage. Claims, labels, experiences, and religious language are tested by a life that practises righteousness and loves the brethren. John does not ask whether a person has achieved perfection. He asks whose character the person’s life increasingly displays.

    Reflection Questions
    1. How does abiding in Christ produce confidence concerning His appearing (1 John 2:28)?
    2. Why must the practice of righteousness be understood as evidence of the new birth rather than the cause of it (1 John 2:29)?
    3. What does it mean to be a child of God now, and what remains future about that identity (1 John 3:1–2)?
    4. In what practical ways should the hope of seeing Christ purify a believer’s present life (1 John 3:3)?
    5. How do 1 John 1:8–2:2 help us understand the statements that the person born of God “does not sin” and “cannot sin” (1 John 3:6, 9)?

    ________________________________________
    Prayer Points
    1. Thank the Father for the love by which He has made believers His children.
    2. Ask for grace to abide in Christ and to await His appearing with confidence.
    3. Pray that the hope of seeing Christ will produce deeper purity and obedience.

  • One great obstacle that hinders us from walking in the fullness of life in Christ and the joy of our salvation is the presence of powerful arguments within our own souls against the beauty of the Gospel. The god we are most often serving is our own internal voice, deficient in the love of Jesus and His perspective on who we are and why we are valuable to Him. The inside voice we are enslaved to is the prideful voice of our own perfectionism and our own sense of failure and inadequacy.

SERMON TITLE: EXCELLENCE IS A SPIRITUAL LANGUAGE

    Introduction

Excellence is not just about talent, intelligence, or education. Excellence is a spiritual language that speaks even when your mouth is silent. When excellence is present, it attracts honor, favor, influence, and opportunities.

God Himself operates in excellence. When He created the world, everything He made was good and perfect. As believers, we are called to reflect the character of God through excellence in our work, conduct, and service.

Excellence is not perfectionism; it is doing the best with what God has given you for His glory.

    Key Bible Verses

    1. Daniel 6:3
"Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him."

    2. Colossians 3:23
"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men."

    3. Proverbs 22:29
"Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men."

    4. 1 Corinthians 14:40
"Let all things be done decently and in order."

Understanding the Statement: Excellence Is a Spiritual Language

Just like prayer, faith, and worship communicate with God, excellence communicates the nature of God through you.

    Excellence speaks:

    Before you introduce yourself.

    Before you preach a sermon.

    Before you explain your faith.

When believers operate in excellence, people begin to ask, “What makes you different?”

Case Study: The Life of Daniel

Daniel was taken into captivity in Babylon, yet he rose to become one of the most influential leaders in a foreign government.

    Why?

The Bible says an excellent spirit was in him.

    Daniel showed excellence through:

    Integrity

    Discipline

    Wisdom

    Consistency in prayer

Even his enemies admitted they could find no fault in him except in his devotion to God.

    Because of excellence:

    Daniel survived political conspiracies.

    Daniel influenced kings.

Daniel became a voice of God in a pagan nation.

    Excellence made Daniel indispensable.

    Signs of an Excellent Spirit

    1. Consistency You do the right thing even when no one is watching.

    2. Discipline You manage your time, words, and responsibilities carefully.

    3. Attention to Detail You don't do things carelessly.

TODAY'S MESSAGE SERMON TITLE: EXCELLENCE IS A SPIRITUAL LANGUAGE Introduction Excellence is not just about talent, intelligence, or education. Key Bible Verses 1. Daniel 6:3 "Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him." 2. Colossians 3:23 "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men." 3. Proverbs 22:29 "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men." 4. 1 Corinthians 14:40 "Let all things be done decently and in order." Understanding the Statement: Excellence Is a Spiritual Language Just like prayer, faith, and worship communicate with God, excellence communicates the nature of God through you. Excellence speaks: Before you introduce yourself. Before you preach a sermon. Before you explain your faith. When believers operate in excellence, people begin to ask, “What makes you different?” Case Study: The Life of Daniel Daniel was taken into captivity in Babylon, yet he rose to become one of the most influential leaders in a foreign government. Why? The Bible says an excellent spirit was in him. Daniel showed excellence through: Integrity Discipline Wisdom Consistency in prayer Even his enemies admitted they could find no fault in him except in his devotion to God. Because of excellence: Daniel survived political conspiracies. Daniel influenced kings. Daniel became a voice of God in a pagan nation. Excellence made Daniel indispensable. Signs of an Excellent Spirit 1. Consistency You do the right thing even when no one is watching. 2. Discipline You manage your time, words, and responsibilities carefully. 3. Attention to Detail You don't do things carelessly. 4. Integrity You remain honest even under pressure. 5. Commitment to Growth You keep improving. Action Steps to Develop the Spirit of Excellence 1. • THE HIGH CALLING OF THE PROPHETIC.

IT CAN BE HARD TO BE PROPHETIC AND PEOPLE DON’T GET IT

Being prophetic can be heavy because we often carry pressure in places other people don’t even notice.

Being PROPHETIC isn’t just “having a gift.” IT’S LIVING WITH A SENSITIVITY THAT TOUCHES BOTH SPIRITUAL REALITY AND HUMAN REALITY, and THEN TRYING TO STAY STEADY, HUMBLE, and HEALTHY WHILE WE DISCERN WHAT IT ALL MEANS.

If We're Prophetic, We Already Know The Battle Isn’t Only “Out There.” IT’S INSIDE Our INNER WORLD, OUR LENS, OUR INTERPRETATION, OUR NERVOUS SYSTEM, OUR IDENTITY, OUR PEACE.

    1) YOU FEEL THINGS BEFORE WE UNDERSTAND THEM

We might wake up with weight. Walk into a room and feel tension. Sense sorrow on someone. Pick up anger in an atmosphere. Feel a warning in our spirit.

And Then COMES THE BATTLE OF THE MIND, “Is this God? Is this me? Is this them? Is this spiritual? Is this my trauma? Is this anxiety?”

A Prophetic Person Can Live In Constant Interpretation Mode, and It Can Be Exhausting.

    2) PEOPLE MISUNDERSTAND US EVEN WHEN OUR HEART IS PURE

We say what we see, and people call us -
Intense, dramatic, weird, too much, controlling, judgmental. When really we're just trying to be faithful.

MISUNDERSTANDING IS ONE OF THE PROPHETIC PERSON’S BIGGEST CROSSES.

Not because we’re always right but because we’re often early. And people rarely celebrate what they don’t yet understand.

WHY PEOPLE DON’T GET IT AND WHY THAT HURTS SO MUCH

Most people don’t understand the prophetic because they’ve never had to live with CONSTANT SPIRITUAL SENSITIVITY WHILE TRYING TO STAY EMOTIONALLY STEADY.

They don’t feel what we feel. They don’t pick up what we pick up. They don’t notice the subtle shifts we notice.

So when we talk about it, it can sound “extra” to someone who lives mostly from the natural.

    • They judge our delivery more than our discernment

Prophetic people don’t always say it perfectly, especially when tired, burdened, or still processing.

So people react to tone and label us “intense” instead of realizing we're carrying weight.

    • They think “if it’s God, it should feel easy”

MANY PEOPLE THINK THE PROPHETIC IS JUST DREAMS AND MOMENTS.
THEY DON’T SEE THE COST, the WRESTLING, HUMILITY, CAREFULNESS, and PRAYER WEIGHT.

    • They’ve seen prophetic abuse, so they’re guarded.

Some people have been hurt by manipulation, control, or “God told me” used to dominate.

So they respond defensively, sometimes before they even know your heart.

    • They confuse “sensing” with “accusing”

DISCERNMENT ISN’T CONDEMNATION. A WARNING ISN’T REJECTION. EXPOSURE ISN’T HATRED.

But IMMATURE LISTENERS DON’T ALWAYS KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. They only believe what they can measure.

Prophetic words often deal with timing, seasons, hidden roots, spiritual atmospheres, things that aren’t visible yet.
So when we speak early, we’ll often be misunderstood.

    • They project their motives onto our gift.

If they would use influence to control, they assume we will. If they crave attention, they assume we do. So they interpret us through their lens, not our heart.

    • Because prophets are often early, we look wrong until time proves us right

And this is one of the hardest parts. We can be accurate and still be rejected because timing is offensive.

That’s why prophetic people must anchor in God’s approval not people’s validation.

    3) WE DON’T JUST “GET A WORD”, WE OFTEN FEEL THE COST OF IT

Prophetic people can FEEL LIKE THEY’RE GIVING BIRTH TO THINGS IN THE SPIRIT. Intercession can hit us physically. Burden can feel like grief. Discernment can feel like pressure in our chest.

That’s why OUR MINDSET MATTERS. Because WITHOUT WISDOM, A PROPHETIC GIFT CAN TURN INTO A MENTAL PRISON.

    THE PROPHETIC MINDSET WAR.
WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE IN REAL LIFE.

    1) THE “AM I CRAZY?” MINDSET

It whispers: “What if we're just making this up?” “What if we're not hearing God?” “What if we're deceived?” “What if we embarrass ourself?”

So we shrink, or overcompensate, or go silent until we feel safe. And this produces insecurity, hesitation, overthinking, fear of missing it. It steals confidence, obedience, clear spiritual hearing.

    2) THE “I HAVE TO BE ACCURATE OR I’M NOTHING” MINDSET

    It sounds like:
“If I miss it, I’m disqualified.” “If I’m not ‘on,’ I’m not real.” “If I’m not impressive, I’m not anointed.” This creates pressure to perform spiritually.

But hear this, Accuracy matters. Humility matters more. God can correct a humble prophet.

PRIDE WILL DESTROY A GIFTED ONE. It produces: perfectionism, fear, performance. It steals:
    peace, freedom, childlike joy.

    3) THE “DISCERNMENT WITHOUT REST” MINDSET
    (Scanning Mode)

DANGER OF TRYING TO DISCERN ALL THE TIME!

Prophetic people are wired to discern.
But when we discern nonstop, the danger is it becomes:
    •scanning every person
    •reading every tone
    •noticing every shift
    •feeling every atmosphere
    •trying to decode everything

    We start calling anxiety “discernment.”
    We start calling fear “wisdom.”
    We start calling exhaustion “burden.”

What it produces: nervous system overload, suspicion, spiritual fatigue. What it steals: calm, clarity, healthy discernment.

    4) THE “EVERYTHING IS WARFARE” MINDSET

It sounds like “Every disagreement is a demon.” “Every correction is Jezebel.” “Every delay is Satan.”“Every boundary is persecution.”

Sometimes there is warfare. But sometimes it’s immaturity, misunderstanding, leadership development, human emotion, lack of communication, our body needing rest, our heart needing healing

If we label everything demonic, we'll never gain wisdom. If we label nothing spiritual, we’ll lose discernment. What it produces: paranoia, reactionary leadership, instability.

It steals sober-mindedness, peace, relational health.

    5) THE “I CAN’T TRUST ANYBODY” MINDSET

MANY PROPHETIC PEOPLE HAVE BEEN REJECTED, MOCKED, USED, SHUT DOWN, CONTROLLED, ISOLATED, ENVIED.

So our heart learns: “It’s safer to be alone.” But ISOLATION IS NOT THE SAME THING AS CONSECRATION.

THE PROPHETIC THRIVES IN HEALTHY COVERING, HEALTHY COMMUNITY, HEALTHY ACCOUNTABILITY. NOT BECAUSE WE'RE WEAK BUT BECAUSE WE’RE PRECIOUS.

It produces loneliness, guardedness, bitterness. It steals our belonging, safety, spiritual family. And excuse ourselves 'Eagles Fly Alone'.

    6) THE “GOD MUST BE LOUD OR I’M LOST” MINDSET

God being quiet, steady, normal, gentle, can feel like absence.

It sounds like “If I don’t feel fire, nothing is happening.” “If I don’t have dreams, I’m off track.” “If I don’t feel urgency, I’m backsliding.”

Maturity is learning this; PEACE IS A LANGUAGE too. GOD OFTEN LEADS WITH CALM, not adrenaline which produces restless chasing, instability, emotional swings. It steals depth, longevity, groundedness.

    7) THE “I’M TOO MUCH / NOT ENOUGH” DOUBLE MIND

We’ve been told “You’re too intense.” “You're too sensitive.” “You’re too deep.” “You’re too direct.”

Then we feel “I’m not enough.” “I’m not seen.” “I’m not valued.” So WE KEEP EDITING OURSELF TO BE ACCEPTABLE.

It PRODUCES PEOPLE-PLEASING, SELF-DOUBT, SHAME. It STEALS OUR IDENTITY, BOLDNESS, REST.

THE BIGGEST TRUTH IS OUR GIFT IS REAL BUT OUR GIFT IS NOT OUR IDENTITY

Our identity is not accuracy, intensity, dreams, words, revelations, or being “right.”

OUR IDENTITY IS BELOVED, SON / DAUGHTER, secure, held, led, formed. If we don’t anchor there, we become easy prey for ego, insecurity, control, fear, burnout, bitterness, isolation.

HOW TO MAKE IT AS A PROPHETIC PERSON (REAL STEPS THAT KEEP YOU HEALTHY)

A lot of gifted people fall off not because they aren’t anointed but because NOBODY TAUGHT THEM HOW TO STAY CLEAN, STEADY, and GROUNDED.

1: LEARN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN “SENSING” AND “CARRYING”

Just Because We Feel It Doesn’t Mean We Must Hold It. “I sense this… but it isn’t mine.” “I can intercede… without absorbing.” “I can discern… without taking responsibility for it.”

If we don’t learn this, we will burn out.

2: DISCERNMENT MUST BE PAIRED WITH PEACE

If our discernment produces constant panic, dread, or suspicion, something is off.

God’s warnings can be urgent, yes but His leadership is steady. Peace is not ignorance.
    Peace is grounding.

3: STOP TRYING TO PROVE YOUR GIFT

Trying to prove it contaminates it. WE DON’T HAVE TO IMPRESS PEOPLE TO BE OBEDIENT TO GOD. A prophet’s job is faithfulness, not popularity.

4: STAY IN HUMILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY

Be teachable. Allow correction. Submit our words to wisdom.

Have Trusted Leaders Who Speak Into Blind Spots. Don’t Isolate. DON’T BECOME OUR OWN COVERING.

A GIFTED PROPHET WITH NO ACCOUNTABILITY IS A TARGET.

5: HEAL YOUR INNER WORLD OR YOUR GIFT WILL BLEED

•Some things you “discern” are actually UNRESOLVED PAIN.
•UNHEALED REJECTION can look like “discernment.”
•UNHEALED INSECURITY can look like “prophetic urgency.”
UNHEALED TRAUMA can look like “I’m under attack all the time.”

GOD WANTS TO ANOINT US, yes.
But HE ALSO WANTS TO HEAL US SO OUR GIFT STAYS CLEAN.

6: BUILD A DAILY RENEWAL RHYTHM

10 minutes of silence (settle your nervous system)
•One truth you declare (renew your lens)
•One lie you refuse (break agreement)
•One boundary you honor (protect peace)
•One act of obedience (done calmly, not in pressure)

    RENEWAL IS TRAINED.

7: LET GOD PRUNE YOUR NEED FOR INTENSITY

Not Everything Has To Feel Like Fire, Urgency, Adrenaline, Crisis.

Sometimes God is teaching us stillness, steady obedience, quiet authority, faithful small steps, slow maturity. Some of God’s deepest work happens in quiet.

PROPHETIC PERSON — HEAR THIS CLEARLY

We are not weak because it’s hard.
It’s hard because we’re sensitive to spiritual reality and human reality.

We are not called to be tormented. We are called to be steady.

We're not called to be paranoid. We’re called to be discerning.

We’re not called to carry everyone’s weight. We’re called to carry what God assigns. We are not called to burn out. We are called to endure.

    BREAK THE PROPHETIC MINDSET WAR

Purify our prophetic lens. Expose every mindset I’ve partnered with that is not from the Lord.

Renounce fear. Renounce accusation. Renounce comparison. Renounce performance. Renounce the need to prove myself. Renounce isolation. Renounce anxiety dressed as discernment.

    Learn to discern with peace.
    Learn to intercede without absorbing.
Learn to carry only what You assign.
Be healed in places that distort our interpretation.
    Be anchor in identity.
    Be rooted in love.
    Be steady in our mind.
And let truth set us free fully.
    In Jesus’ Name!

    DECLARATIONS FOR PROPHETIC PEOPLE

We are loved before we are used.
Our gift is real, but our identity is deeper.
We discern with peace, not panic.
We carry what God assigns, and we release the rest.
We do not need to prove what God has given us.
We will not partner with accusation.
We will not confuse anxiety with discernment.
We will stay humble, teachable, and accountable.
We will not burn out , we will endure.
    Truth is rewriting our lens.

QUESTIONS TO SHIFT US, NOT JUST MOVE MOVE US

What mindset has been narrating our prophetic life lately?

Where have we confused anxiety with discernment?

Where are we carrying what God never assigned?

What has rejection taught us to believe about ourself?

What boundary do we need to honor to protect our peace?

What would change if we let peace become our normal?
THE HIGH CALLING OF THE PROPHETIC. IT CAN BE HARD TO BE PROPHETIC AND PEOPLE DON’T GET IT Being prophetic can be heavy because we often carry pressure in places other people don’t even notice. But HE ALSO WANTS TO HEAL US SO OUR GIFT STAYS CLEAN. 6: BUILD A DAILY RENEWAL RHYTHM 10 minutes of silence (settle your nervous system) •One truth you declare (renew your lens) •One lie you refuse (break agreement) •One boundary you honor (protect peace) •One act of obedience (done calmly, not in pressure) RENEWAL IS TRAINED. 7: LET GOD PRUNE YOUR NEED FOR INTENSITY Not Everything Has To Feel Like Fire, Urgency, Adrenaline, Crisis. Sometimes God is teaching us stillness, steady obedience, quiet authority, faithful small steps, slow maturity. Some of God’s deepest work happens in quiet. PROPHETIC PERSON — HEAR THIS CLEARLY We are not weak because it’s hard. BREAK THE PROPHETIC MINDSET WAR Purify our prophetic lens. DECLARATIONS FOR PROPHETIC PEOPLE We are loved before we are used. QUESTIONS TO SHIFT US, NOT JUST MOVE MOVE US What mindset has been narrating our prophetic life lately? Where have we confused anxiety with discernment? Where are we carrying what God never assigned? What has rejection taught us to believe about ourself? What boundary do we need to honor to protect our peace? What would change if we let peace become our normal?
