• The Last Great Revival Before the Return of Christ

Theme: When God Awakens Nations Before the King Appears
Scripture Anchor: “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” — Acts 2:17

Before the trumpet sounds and Christ returns in glory, Scripture declares there will be a mighty outpouring of the Spirit—a revival unlike any before. This revival is not confined to one nation or generation; it is global, sweeping across cultures, ages, and denominations. It is the final awakening, preparing the Bride for the Bridegroom.

Acts 2:17 establishes the principle: the last days are marked by a Spirit‑outpouring. Joel’s prophecy fulfilled at Pentecost points forward to a greater fulfillment before Christ’s return. Revival is heaven’s strategy to gather souls and purify the Church before the King comes.

    The last great revival represents:
    - Outpouring: God’s Spirit poured on all flesh.
    - Harvest: Multitudes brought into the kingdom.
    - Purification: The Bride made ready.
    - Unity: Believers across nations joined in one Spirit.
    - Testimony: Evidence of God’s power before the end.

    The struggle manifests as:
    - Opposition: Satanic resistance to awakening.
    - Deception: False teachings to distract.
    - Persecution: Pressure against the faithful.
    - Complacency: Hearts asleep in comfort.
    - Testing: Faith refined in fire.

    - Revival is not hype—it is holy transformation.
    - The last revival is not man‑made—it is Spirit‑driven.
    - Opposition is not victory—it is proof of God’s movement.

From heaven’s view, the last great revival is the Bride’s final preparation. God pours His Spirit to awaken, purify, and empower His people. Heaven rejoices as nations turn, because it signals the nearness of Christ’s appearing.

    What the Last Revival Produces
    - Repentance: Hearts broken before God.
    - Holiness: Lives set apart.
    - Power: Signs, wonders, and miracles.
    - Unity: Barriers broken among believers.
    - Harvest: Souls gathered for eternity.

Signs the Last Revival Is Stirring
    1. Global hunger: Nations crying out for truth.
    2. Youth rising: Sons and daughters prophesying.
    3. Supernatural manifestations: Visions, dreams, and miracles.
    4. Persecution increasing: Resistance against the faithful.
    5. Bride awakening: Church purified for the Bridegroom.

    Assignment for Believers
    - Prepare your heart: Repent and consecrate yourself.
    - Seek His Spirit: Cry out for fresh outpouring.
    - Reject complacency: Do not sleep in comfort.
    - Stand boldly: Endure opposition with faith.
    - Magnify Christ: Exalt Him as the Coming King.

Beloved, the last great revival before the return of Christ is not a distant dream—it is heaven’s promise. Do not let distraction or fear rob you of participation. His Spirit is your fire, His word is your anchor, and His coming is your hope. Awaken, for the final revival is rising, and the King is at the door.

  • Acts 24:

"1 And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
2 And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
3 We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
4 Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.
5 For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:
6 Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.
7 But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,
8 Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.
9 And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.
10 Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
11 Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.
12 And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:
13 Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
17 Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings.
18 Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.
19 Who ought to have been here before thee, and object, if they had ought against me.
20 Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,
21 Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
22 And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
23 And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.
24 And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
25 And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
26 He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.
27 But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix' room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound."

  • *The Winnowing Tray...*

"Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat." (Luke 22:31)

When the Lord Jesus Christ lived on earth as a man, He spoke to His disciples about His approaching death. Addressing Peter, Jesus said, "Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren" (Luke 22:32).

When grain is placed in a winnowing tray and tossed, it is thrown up and down repeatedly. Only the grain itself knows the agony it endures until it is purified. Similarly, Satan obtained permission from Jesus to sift the disciples. After granting this permission, Jesus declared, "I have prayed to God that your faith may be strengthened."

Just as Satan had requested, Peter endured imprisonment, beatings, and great suffering; yet, the Scriptures testify that he fought the good fight and remained a faithful witness for the Lord until the very end.

True to Jesus' command—"When you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren"—thousands upon thousands of people were saved through Peter. God performed mighty works through Peter's hands: 5,000 people were saved in one sermon, and 3,000 in another. There were even those who were healed simply by Peter's shadow falling upon them (Acts 5:15).

Even though he was the same Peter who, just days earlier, had denied Jesus, wept bitterly, and sworn oaths... The Lord took him into His hands. God preserved him so that his faith would not depart from him.

With the Lord's permission, we too may have passed through experiences where we were winnowed like grain. Our faith, too, may have been tested on many occasions. We must realize that it is only because the Lord intervened in our lives that we have not turned away from God to this day.

*He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold* (Job 23:10).

    Amen.

    2 Kings 2:19-22

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the Lord, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land. 2 Kings 2:21.
In casting salt into the bitter spring, Elisha taught the same spiritual lesson imparted centuries later by the Saviour to His disciples when He declared, “Ye are the salt of the earth.” The salt mingling with the polluted spring purified its waters and brought life and blessing where before had been blighting and death. When God compares His children to salt, He would teach them that His purpose in making them the subjects of His grace is that they may become agents in saving others....

Salt must be mingled with the substance to which it is added; it must penetrate, infuse it, that it may be preserved. So it is through personal contact and association that men are reached by the saving power of the gospel. They are not saved as masses, but as individuals. Personal influence is a power. It is to work with the influence of Christ, ... and to stay the progress of the world's corruption.... It is to uplift, to sweeten the lives and characters of others by the power of a pure example united with earnest faith and love....

The polluted stream represents the soul that is separate from God.... Through sin, the whole human organism is deranged, the mind is perverted, the imagination corrupted; the faculties of the soul are degraded. There is an absence of pure religion, of heart holiness. The converting power of God has not wrought in transforming the character....

The heart that receives the word of God is not as a pool that evaporates.... It is like a river constantly flowing and, as it advances, becoming deeper and wider, until its life-giving waters are spread over all the earth.... So it is with the true child of God. The religion of Christ reveals itself as a vitalizing, pervading principle, a living, working, spiritual energy. When the heart is opened to the heavenly influence of truth and love, these principles will flow forth again like streams in the desert, causing fruitfulness to appear where now are barrenness and dearth.8Prophets and Kings, 231-234.

  • DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 213
    DATE: 1ST AUGUST 2026
TOPIC: IGNITING THE FIRE (Part 3)
    ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: PSALMS 119:11 (NKJV)
"Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You."
    Devotional message:

Yesterday, we saw that God commands the fire on the altar to burn continually and that a consistent prayer life is essential to keeping that fire alive. Today, we look at another vital key to sustaining spiritual fire—the Word of God.

A fire cannot continue burning without fuel. Just as natural fire requires dry wood, spiritual fire requires the continual supply of God's Word. Prayer and the Word work together. Prayer draws us into God's presence, while His Word nourishes, strengthens, and fuels the fire within us. Without a steady intake of Scripture, our spiritual fervency gradually declines.

However, reading the Bible alone is not enough. We must meditate on the Word, ponder it, and allow it to dwell richly in our hearts. Joshua was instructed to meditate on God's Word day and night, and the result would be prosperity and success (Joshua 1:8). Likewise, when we hide God's Word in our hearts, it transforms our thinking, renews our minds, and empowers us to live in obedience to Him.

In Acts 28, the Apostle Paul placed a bundle of wood on the fire, and because the fire was burning intensely, a viper hidden in the wood came out. Spiritually, as we continually feed on God's Word and keep the fire of the Holy Spirit burning, the hidden works of the flesh are exposed. Jealousy, bitterness, envy, malice, pride, unforgiveness, and every other sinful attitude cannot remain concealed in a heart that is continually being purified by the fire of God's presence and the truth of His Word.

Child of God, make it your daily practice to study, meditate on, and obey the Scriptures. Let the Word of Christ dwell richly within you. As you continually feed your spirit with God's Word, your fire will remain strong, your faith will grow, and your life will increasingly reflect the character of Jesus Christ.

🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 213 DATE: 1ST AUGUST 2026 TOPIC: IGNITING THE FIRE (Part 3) ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: PSALMS 119:11 (NKJV) "Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You." Devotional message: Yesterday, we saw that God commands the fire on the altar to burn continually and that a consistent prayer life is essential to keeping that fire alive. • Maranatha.
    Pure in Heart and Life.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8.

Into the city of God there will enter nothing that defiles. All who are to be dwellers there will here have become pure in heart. In one who is learning of Jesus, there will be manifest a growing distaste for careless manners, unseemly language, and coarse thought. When Christ abides in the heart, there will be purity and refinement of thought and manner.

But the words of Jesus ... have a deeper meaning—not merely pure in the sense in which the world understands purity, free from that which is sensual, pure from lust, but true in the hidden purposes and motives of the soul, free from pride and self-seeking, humble, unselfish, childlike.

Only like can appreciate like. Unless you accept in your own life the principle of self-sacrificing love, which is the principle of His character, you cannot know God....

When Christ shall come in His glory, the wicked cannot endure to behold Him. The light of His presence, which is life to those who love Him, is death to the ungodly.... When He shall appear, they will pray to be hidden from the face of Him who died to redeem them.

But to hearts that have become purified through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, all is changed. These can know God. Moses was hid in the cleft of the rock when the glory of the Lord was revealed to him; and it is when we are hid in Christ that we behold the love of God....

By faith we behold Him here and now. In our daily experience we discern His goodness and compassion in the manifestation of His providence. We recognize Him in the character of His Son.... The pure in heart see God in a new and endearing relation, as their Redeemer; and while they discern the purity and loveliness of His character, they long to reflect His image. They see Him as a Father longing to embrace a repenting son, and their hearts are filled with joy unspeakable and full of glory....

The pure in heart live as in the visible presence of God during the time He apportions them in this world. And they will also see Him face to face in the future, immortal state, as did Adam when he walked and talked with God in Eden.41Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, 24-27.

  • In the days when Joseph was bound in chains and the word of the Lord tried him, he could not yet see the purpose of his suffering, and the silence from heaven must have felt like abandonment, yet the Scripture declares that the word of the Lord is tried and purified like silver seven times, proving that what God has spoken stands firm even when our eyes cannot trace His hand; so it is that when we have not learned the deep things of the Kingdom (the patience of the seed, the wisdom of the cross, the sovereignty that weaves sorrow into salvation) our hearts become vulnerable to the terrible whisper that what has been said about God is unreliable, that His power has failed, or that He does not exist at all, but this tragic conclusion is born not from evidence but from ignorance of His hidden ways; therefore, the invitation stands: study, search, and learn the ways of the Kingdom, for the truth you discover will armor your soul against the lie that God has abandoned His throne or broken His promise. For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth (Psalm 33:4). This is the anchor we hold when everything else is swept away, the certainty that God's character and His Word are one, and that to know the one is to trust the other, even when the path is dark and the future uncertain, for His faithfulness is proven not by our understanding but by His unchanging nature.

  • When the faithful seem few, God is still faithful.

Psalm 12 is a powerful reminder that while people may lie, flatter, and deceive, the Lord's words are pure, perfect, and eternal.

God promises to defend the oppressed and preserve those who trust Him.

Never let the darkness around you cause you to doubt the light of God's truth.

His Word has never failed—and it never will.

"The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times." — Psalm 12:6
