  • THE DANGER OF THE CHURCH: REPLACING GODโ€™S PRESENCE WITH PROGRAMS

    Perhaps this is one of the greatest warnings for the Church today. We can become so passionate about the activities of God that we eventually neglect the God of those activities.

    We can have:

    * prayer programs
    * all-night prayer meetings
    * conferences
    * retreats
    * crusades
    * church services
    * concerts
    * evangelistic campaigns
    * and much moreโ€ฆ

    and yet gradually lose our hunger for God.

    The program is not bad. But the program must never replace Godโ€™s presence.

    The Early Church was not simply looking for ways to organize meetings. They were seeking to live with Christ.

    They devoted themselves to the apostlesโ€™ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.Acts 2:42

    And the result?

    And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
    Acts 2:47

    Notice the order:God transforms people, and then God adds people.

    We must therefore ask ourselves:Are we truly seeking the growth of the Church, or are we simply seeking the growth of our gatherings?

    LEARN TO EXAMINE THE FOUNDATIONS

    Acts 19:40 ultimately pushes us to ask an essential question:What is the foundation of all this?

    Test everything. Hold on to what is good.
    1 Thessalonians 5:21

    A mature believer does not follow blindly.

    ๐Ÿฝ *They examine.

    ๐Ÿฝ They discern.

    ๐ŸฝThey pray.

    ๐Ÿฝ They verify.

    Then they act.

    ๐Ÿฝ Before sharing information, ask: Is it true?

    ๐Ÿฝ Before following a movement: Is it biblical?

    ๐Ÿฝ Before joining a cause: What are its motives?

    ๐Ÿฝ Before accepting a manifestation as coming from God: What fruit does it produce?

    ๐Ÿฝ Before seeking an experience: Does it truly draw me closer to Jesus?

    Because our ultimate reference should never be an experience.

    Our ultimate reference must be the Word of God.

  • TO MEDITATE ON
    Today, perhaps there is something holding you back.

    ๐Ÿฝ A fear.
    ๐Ÿฝ A wound.
    ๐Ÿฝ A past failure.
    ๐Ÿฝ The opinion of others.
    ๐Ÿฝ The fear of disappointing people.
    ๐Ÿฝ The fear of starting over.
    ๐Ÿฝ The fear of not being good enough.

    But God is telling you today: Be strong and courageous.Do not remain forever in the same place simply because you are afraid of what lies ahead.

    ๐Ÿฝ Get up.

    Develop what God has placed within you.

    ๐Ÿฝ Position yourself.
    ๐Ÿฝ Move forward.
    ๐Ÿฝ Learn.
    ๐Ÿฝ Start again.
    ๐Ÿฝ Dare.

    And above all, never confuse the discomfort of the journey with the absence of God.God never promised you a road without difficulties. He promised you His presence.

    When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.
    Isaiah 43:2

    So today, I want to leave you with this word:
    You do not have to wait for fear to disappear before moving forward. You must learn to move forward with the certainty that God is with you.

    Courage is not saying, I am not afraid.
    Courage is saying, I may be afraid, but God is with me, so I will move forward.

    Get up. Move forward. Stand out.Develop what God has placed within you. And trust the One who called you.

    ๐Ÿฝ What God plants in you deserves to be cultivated.

    ๐Ÿฝ What God cultivates in you deserves to be protected.

    ๐Ÿฝ What God protects in you will eventually bear fruit.

    ๐Ÿฝ And what God has decided to grow within you will not be stopped by fear.

    Get up. Take courage. Keep your roots in God and cross over. Your next season requires the courage to leave the previous one behind.

    May God bless you.

    [7] The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. • โ€Ž 24-HOUR CONTINUAL PRAYER โ€” A CALL TO PRAY
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽDear brothers and sisters in Christ,
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽI would like to share an idea that has been in my heart, and I invite you to prayerfully consider it.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽWhat if believers from different cities, nations, and time zones came together in one united prayer chainโ€”praying continually, 24 hours a day, every day?
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽThe idea is simple: we would organize a group of committed Christians who each take responsibility for one specific hour of prayer. One person or group prays from 6:00โ€“7:00 AM, another from 7:00โ€“8:00 AM, another from 8:00โ€“9:00 AM, and so on, until all 24 hours are covered.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽAs one person's hour ends, another person's hour begins. In this way, prayer continues without interruption, day and night.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽBecause we may have believers joining from different parts of the world, the prayer chain can continue across different time zones and nations.
    โ€Ž
    โ€Ž One Topic. One Scripture. One United Prayer.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽEach week, we would choose one important prayer topic and a set of Bible verses to meditate on and pray through.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽEveryone, regardless of where they live, would pray around the same theme during their assigned hour.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽOur prayer would not be about simply filling an hour. It would be a time to seek God sincerelyโ€”to worship Him, repent, intercede, stand on His Word, and cry out for His will to be done.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽThis would require commitment, faithfulness, and seriousness.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽIf you accept an hour, that hour becomes your responsibility before God. Even when you are tired, busy, or facing difficulties, we seek to keep our commitment and faithfully stand in prayer.
    โ€Ž
    โ€Žโ€œPray without ceasing.โ€ โ€” 1 Thessalonians 5:17
    โ€Ž
    โ€Žโ€œWatch and pray.โ€ โ€” Matthew 26:41
    โ€Ž
    โ€Žโ€œI have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night.โ€ โ€” Isaiah 62:6
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽThis is not about creating a platform, gaining recognition, or building a large group.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽIt is simply a call for believers to unite before God in prayer.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽImagine Christians in different nations praying at different hours, yet all lifting up the same cry before the same God.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽDifferent places. Different people. Different hours. But one Lord, one faith, one purpose, and one united prayer.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽIf this idea speaks to your heart, please don't respond quickly. Pray about it. Ask God whether He wants you to be part of it.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽAnd if you feel led to participate, let us come together, agree on the first weekly prayer topic and Scriptures, and begin faithfully.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽMay this become a simple but powerful prayer altar that continues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for the glory of God.
    โ€Ž
    โ€ŽLet us pray. Let us watch. Let us stand together.
