• NOTHING IS WASTED IN GOD’S HANDS!

Everything you have gone through is not meaningless. The mountain, the valley, the breakthrough, the delay, the tears, the laughter—God can use it all for your becoming!

Some seasons teach you through joy.
    Some lessons come through pain.
Some doors close because God is preparing you for a better one.
Some people leave because their assignment in your life is over.

You may not understand everything now, but one day you will look back and say, “Indeed, God was in the process all along!”

Your becoming is not an accident. It is a divine process. God is molding your character, strengthening your faith, deepening your roots, and preparing you for the purpose He has ordained for your life.

    So don't despise the process.
Don't give up in the valley.
Don't lose faith because of the delay.

What looks like a setback may be a divine setup!
What broke you may be what God uses to build you.
What you thought was the end may become the beginning of your greatest testimony.

Keep trusting God. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep becoming.

Your story is still being written, and the Author has not finished with you yet!

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God…” — Romans 8:28

  • WHEN GOD PUTS A DESIRE IN YOUR HEART, DON’T GIVE UP TOO SOON!

Sometimes, waiting on God can be painful. You pray, you believe, you hold on, yet nothing seems to be changing.

It is hard to wait for something you desperately desire when you don't know whether it will ever happen. But sometimes, it is even harder to walk away when deep within your spirit, you still believe God is not finished!

Listen, child of God: delay is not denial. Silence is not abandonment. And waiting is not wasting.

There are promises God has spoken concerning your life that will require faith, patience, prayer, and perseverance. Don't let the length of the waiting season make you question the faithfulness of the God who gave you the promise.

If God gave you the vision, keep believing.
If God gave you the promise, keep praying.
If God gave you the desire, surrender it to Him.
And if He says, “Wait,” then wait with faith!

Your testimony may be taking longer than you expected, but that does not mean God has forgotten you.

What God has ordained for you will arrive in His appointed time.

Don't quit in the waiting room.
Don't bury your faith because of delay.
Don't let disappointment make you abandon your destiny.

Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting.
    Your “suddenly” can still come!

“Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” — Habakkuk 2:3

  • When a brother or sister comes to you genuinely in need, and you have the means to help, telling them, “God will provide,” “I can’t help you, but I’ll pray for you,” while you have what they need, is not character of Christ.

Prayer is powerful, and we should always pray for one another. But sometimes God intends to answer someone’s prayer through us. We should not use spiritual words as an excuse to ignore someone’s genuine need when we are in a position to help.

    The Bible says:

“If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace, be warmed and filled,’ without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?”
    James 2:15–16

    And again:

“Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.”
    Proverbs 22:9

    Jesus Christ also taught us:

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink…”
    Matthew 25:35

Christianity is not only about saying, “I will pray for you.” It is also about showing the love of Christ through our actions.

“Let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.”
    1 John 3:18

If God has blessed you with the ability to meet someone’s need, don't always tell them to wait for God to provide. Sometimes, you are the provision God has placed in their path.

May our faith be seen not only in our words, but also in our compassion, generosity, and willingness to help.

“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.” Proverbs 19:17

  • August 24 - The Redemptive Element of Jesus’ Impartial Healings

    #LifeOfChrist

“‘Your faith has made you well’” (Matthew 9:22).

In many instances in the gospels, the words translated “healed,” “made well,” or similar variations, are from the Greek word meaning salvation or saved from sin. For instance, when blind Bartimaeus came to Jesus to regain his sight, the Lord told him, “Go; your faith has made you well” (Mark 10:52). That Bartimaeus repeatedly called Jesus “Son of David,” a common messianic title, suggests that his physical healing included spiritual salvation.

In the account of the ten lepers, Luke reports that all of them “were cleansed” (Luke 17:14), but this was from a word that means essentially physical cleansing. However, of the one who glorified God and returned to give thanks, Jesus used the same expression (see v. 19) as He did to Bartimaeus and the woman with the hemorrhage. Ten men received cleansing, but only one obtained salvation. This indicates that salvation and physical healing were sometimes linked, even if in the example of the ten lepers, only one man realized both.

In addition to a strong redemptive element, Jesus’ healings were impartial. That Christ ministered equally to the leading synagogue elder and the outcast woman clearly proves this. The woman’s touching His garment with unclean hands did not offend Him. Nor did her presumption to obtain His help while He worked through the crowd to reach Jairus’s daughter bother Him. True needs never interfered with our Lord’s sovereign and impartial approach to ministry. “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Matt. 20:28).

    Ask Yourself

Would you describe your feelings and interactions with others as being impartial? Are there people who (though you might never admit it aloud) are considered beneath you and unworthy of your notice and attention? Confess this as sin before the Father, and model Jesus’ brand of ministry.

  • WHAT SHOULD OUR PRAYER BE?

Prayer is more than asking God for things. Prayer is a time to open our hearts to God, ask for forgiveness, seek His wisdom, and surrender our lives to Him.

We can pray for: A heart filled with love
    The strength to forgive
    Strength during difficult times
    Peace when we are worried
Wisdom to make the right choices
    Courage to follow Jesus
    A life that reflects Christ

The most important prayer is not only, “Lord, change my situation,” but also, “Lord, change me.”

May our words, thoughts, and actions become more like Jesus every day.

“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” — James 2:17

If this prayer touched your heart, write “Amen” in the comments and share this message with someone who needs encouragement.

    In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • CHRISTIANITY IS MORE THAN A NAME

Being a Christian is not only about saying, “I believe in Jesus.” True faith should be seen in the way we live, the way we treat others, and the way we respond when life becomes difficult.

Jesus taught us to love, forgive, serve, pray, show compassion, and walk in truth.

Our faith should not remain only in our words. It should be visible through our actions.

    Ask yourself today:

    Do I love others?
    Do I forgive?
Do I help those in need?
    Do I follow God’s Word?
Can people see Christ through my life?

“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” — James 2:17

Let your life reflect Christ. Let your actions speak louder than your words. And wherever you go, let people see the love of Jesus through you.
