  • YOU ARE NOT JUST DISTRACTED…
    YOU ARE UNDER ATTACK.

Not every battle in your life is physical.
Some of it is spiritual warfare disguised as entertainment.
The enemy understands something many believers ignore:
If he cannot stop your destiny…
    He will distract your focus.

That’s why the Bible warns us:
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about…” — 1 Peter 5:8
    Distraction is not harmless…
    It is a strategy.
You wake up in the morning…
    Before prayer…
    Before the Word…
    You pick your phone.

    Meanwhile, Scripture says:
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God…” — Matthew 6:33
But many are seeking trends before truth.
    Let’s be honest…
    You spend hours consuming:
    Gossip
    Drama
    Arguments
Yet struggle to spend time with God.
And you wonder why your spiritual life feels dry?
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word…” — Matthew 4:4
If you are not feeding on the Word…
    You are starving spiritually.

    Here is a hard truth:
Anything that consistently takes your attention away from God…
    Is not neutral.
“Keep thy heart with all diligence…” — Proverbs 4:23
But today, many have handed their hearts to algorithms.
    Let me go deeper…
Satan doesn’t need to destroy you…
If he can keep you distracted.
Because a distracted believer cannot discern.
“Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” — Romans 12:2
But how will your mind be renewed…
    When it is constantly polluted?
Some of you say: “God is not speaking to me…”
But your mind is too noisy.
“Be still, and know that I am God…” — Psalms 46:10
    Stillness is required for clarity.
    Distraction kills stillness.

    Let me shock you:
Your attention is your spiritual currency.
Where you invest it… determines what grows in your life.
“Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” — Matthew 6:21
If your attention is in gossip…
    Your heart will follow.

    Now hear this:
Some of your delays are not from the devil…
    They are from undisciplined habits.
“Let us lay aside every weight…” — Hebrews 12:1
    Not everything is a sin…
But it can still slow you down.
    You want growth?
    Then discipline your focus.
“Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” — Galatians 5:16
You cannot feed the flesh all day…
And expect to be strong in the spirit.

    Let me be very direct:
    Your algorithm is discipling you.

    The question is:
Is it discipling you toward God…
    or away from Him?
    This is your wake-up call.
    Not motivation.
    Correction.

    Choose today:
    Will you keep feeding distraction?
Or will you start building your spirit?
    Because in this Kingdom…
    You don’t rise by wishes.
    You rise by discipline.

  • Let’s stop pretending.

Not every woman is ready for marriage—and not every lifestyle qualifies you for a responsible man.

You can’t live recklessly, ignore discipline, normalize immorality… and then expect a man of purpose to choose you for something serious.

The Bible already asked it in :
“Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid.” Romans 6:1

Truth is hard, but it’s still truth:

Men may “have fun” with what they don’t respect…
But they commit to what they honor.

And let’s be clear—this is not just about women.
Any man living without self-control, integrity, or direction is disqualifying himself too.

No more double standards. No more sugarcoating.

Your lifestyle is speaking louder than your expectations.

If you want something real—become someone real.
Because marriage is not a reward for desire… it is a responsibility for the prepared.

  • The Tender Terror of God Taking Flesh

    By Pastor Samuel Apena

    Text: John 1:1–14

    Introduction

In the beginning, God spoke. And by His word, galaxies spun into existence, oceans were corralled into their shores, and light pierced the darkness. That’s the God John introduces us to in verse one: a God who is eternal, a God who is personal, and a God who is creative.

But then, something happens in verse 14 that shatters every category of religion. The same Word who was with God and was God—did not send a memo. He did not broadcast a celestial Zoom call. John says, “The Word became flesh.”

Today, I want to show you three things about this staggering truth: why it was necessary, what it actually means, and why it changes everything for you.

    1. The Distance We Could Not Cross (vv. 1–5, 10–11)

First, we have to feel the problem. Verse 10 says, “He was in the world… yet the world did not know him.” Verse 11: “He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.”

Humanity was not just ignorant; we were rebellious. We preferred the darkness (v. 5). Think of it this way: sin didn’t just break our rules; it broke our hardware. We became spiritually dead, unable to reach up to a holy God. We tried religion, morality, philosophy—all ladders leaning against the wrong wall.

The problem was never that God was far away. The problem was that we were hostile. And if we were ever going to be saved, God Himself would have to cross a distance we could not.

    2. The Shocking Reality of the Incarnation (v. 14)

And that’s exactly what He did. “The Word became flesh.”

Now, the Greek word for “flesh” here is sarx. It doesn’t just mean “a body.” In John’s vocabulary, sarx points to human weakness, vulnerability, and mortality. John is saying: The eternal Son of God didn’t just wear a human costume. He became a human being.

    Consider what this means:

    · He took on real limitations. He grew tired, hungry, and thirsty. He had to learn to walk and talk. The One who holds atoms together got a splinter in His finger.
    · He took on real temptation. Not a fake, “untouchable” holiness, but a genuine battle in the wilderness, in the garden, in the ordinary Tuesday afternoons of Nazareth.
    · He took on real sorrow. At Lazarus’s tomb, Jesus wept. The Creator of tear ducts let them flow down His own cheeks.

Why? Verse 14 says: “He dwelt among us.” The Greek word is skēnoō—literally, “He tabernacled among us.” Just as God’s glory cloud filled the Old Testament tent in the wilderness, now the full glory of God dwells in a human body named Jesus. He pitched His tent in our neighborhood.

    3. The Glory We Can Actually See (v. 14 & v. 12)

And here’s the good news: in that flesh, we finally see God’s glory. Verse 14: “We have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

On Mount Sinai, Moses asked to see God’s glory and was told, “You cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.” But in Jesus? You see the face of God, and you do live. Because Jesus shows us a glory that isn’t raw, consuming power alone. It’s “grace and truth.” It’s holiness dripping with mercy.

How does God feel about sinners? Look at Jesus eating with tax collectors.
What is God’s attitude toward suffering? Look at Jesus healing the leper, touching the untouchable.
What does God think of death? Look at Jesus standing outside the tomb of Lazarus, angry at the tragedy of it all, and then shouting, “Come out!”

This is the glory of God: not a distant monarch, but a suffering servant. Not a cold judge, but a weeping friend.

What the Flesh of Jesus Means for You

So what does this mean for you today?

First, it means God is not ashamed of your humanity. Are you tired? Jesus was tired. Are you tempted? He was tempted. Have you been betrayed, misunderstood, or physically in pain? He has been there. The incarnation means you have a High Priest who gets it—not because He read a book about it, but because He lived it.

Second, it means God has dealt with your sin. Flesh was the very thing sin corrupted. So God took that same flesh, nailed it to a cross, and in that flesh, He condemned sin (Romans 8:3). The Word became flesh so that the flesh could be redeemed and raised.

Finally, it means you can become a child of God. Verse 12 says, “To all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” You don’t climb up to God. God climbed down to you. Your only job is to stop striving and start receiving.

    Conclusion

Let me close with this image. In the ancient world, kings were always hidden away behind walls and protocol. But imagine if a king took off his robes, moved into the poorest slum, slept on a straw mat, and said, “Let me wash your feet.”

    That is your God.

The Word became flesh. He still has that flesh—glorified, yes, but scarred. At this very moment, a man sits on the throne of the universe. And that man knows what it’s like to be you.

Do not be afraid of a God who got His hands dirty. Run to Him. He is not far away. He is as close as your own humanity.

    Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, we confess that we often want a God who stays at a safe distance. But You came near. Thank You for taking on flesh—for tired feet, for tears, for the cross. Help us to stop hiding and to receive the grace and truth standing right in front of us in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

  • CROSS THAT JORDAN

    By Pastor Samuel Apena

    Text: 2 Kings 2:1–14

There comes a moment in every believer’s life when God stands you before a “Jordan.”
Not a river of water—but a boundary between where you are and where God is taking you.
The story of Elijah and Elisha is not just a story of mentorship…
It is a story of transition, separation, and destiny crossing.

    1. JORDAN IS THE PLACE OF DECISION
Elijah said to Elisha: “Stay here…”
But Elisha replied: “As the Lord lives, I will not leave you.”
    Jordan will test your hunger.
Many people admire destiny, but few are willing to pursue it beyond comfort.
Before you cross your Jordan, God will ask:
    “Do you really want this?”
Jordan separates the casual from the committed.

    2. JORDAN IS THE PLACE OF SEPARATION
When they got to Jordan, Elijah took his mantle, struck the waters, and the river parted.
This was not just a miracle—it was a statement.
Jordan does not open for everyone.
It opens for those carrying divine authority.
Some things in your life will not shift until you step into who God has called you to be.
    Before you cross your Jordan:
    You must leave fear behind
    You must leave doubt behind
    You must leave distractions behind
Because you cannot carry yesterday into tomorrow.

    3. JORDAN IS THE PLACE OF TRANSFER
    After crossing, Elijah said:
“Ask what I shall do for you…”
    Elisha said:
“Let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”
    Listen carefully:
The request came AFTER the crossing.
Many people want the mantle, but they don’t want the journey.
    They want power without process.
    Glory without sacrifice.
But Jordan is the price for the double portion.

    4. JORDAN IS THE PLACE OF TRANSFORMATION
Elijah was taken up, and his mantle fell.
Elisha picked it up and returned to Jordan.
He struck the water and declared:
“Where is the Lord God of Elijah?”
    And the river parted again.
This is the moment everything changed.
He didn’t say: “Where is Elijah?”
He said: “Where is the God of Elijah?”
Because true power is not in men—it is in God.
Crossing your Jordan will shift you from:
    Following → Leading
    Asking → Commanding
    Watching → Manifesting

    5. YOUR JORDAN TODAY
    Your Jordan may be:
Fear of starting what God told you
    Leaving a toxic environment
    Stepping into ministry
    Letting go of the past
    But hear this:
You cannot step into your next level until you cross your Jordan.

    PROPHETIC DECLARATION
    I declare over your life:
    Every Jordan standing before you—
by the power of God, it shall part!
    Grace to pursue,
    strength to endure,
    and power to cross—
    is released upon you now!
    You will not stop halfway.
You will not settle in the familiar.
    You will CROSS your Jordan!

    PRAYER POINTS
Father, give me the grace to pursue my destiny without turning back, in Jesus’ name.

Every spirit of distraction and discouragement assigned to stop me at my Jordan—be destroyed by fire!

O Lord, give me the hunger and determination of Elisha to follow through, in Jesus’ name.

Every power saying “stay here” when God is saying “move forward”—I reject you now!

By the power of God, every Jordan standing before me—PART NOW in Jesus’ name!

Father, release upon my life the mantle for my next level, in Jesus’ name.

I receive strength to let go of the past and step into my future, in Jesus’ name.

O Lord, connect me to divine authority that will open my Jordan, in Jesus’ name.

After my crossing, let there be a visible transformation in my life, in Jesus’ name.

I receive my double portion of grace, power, and anointing, in Jesus’ name!

  • My dear friends, today I want to share with you a message of hope and redemption. We all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory, but God's love for us is greater than our sin. He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from our sins.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again on the third day, offering us salvation and eternal life. To receive this gift, we must repent of our sins, turn to God, and put our faith in Jesus Christ.

"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Salvation is a personal decision. It's a choice to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. When you do, you'll experience forgiveness, peace, and eternal life.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

Today is the day of salvation. Don't put it off any longer. Come to Jesus, and He will save you. God bless you as you do. (Amen)
