  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    THURSDAY AUGUST 13, 2O26.
    "RESPONDING TO FAILURE"

    ‘A righteous person may fall…but he gets up again...’ Proverbs 24:16 GWT

    YOU CAN tell a lot about somebody by how they respond to life. Everybody gets knocked down, but how fast you get up again is what counts. Verla Gillmor says: ‘Failure teaches us things we can’t learn any other way…Treat it as a visitor allowed to deliver unpleasant news, but don’t let it take up residence. Remember, all failures aren’t equal. For example, when a beautiful, talented young woman is the first-runner-up in a beauty contest, some say she failed. Yet some people would give their right arm to be named the second most attractive female in a competition. It’s a matter of perspective… [examine] your failures and weigh them according to their importance in the overall scheme of things…I once received a ‘D’ at college…it’s ridiculous, but that sticks in my mind like a pebble in my shoe. Why do I fixate on that and not the fact that it happened during the term I carried nineteen credit hours, worked part-time, got engaged, and spent six weeks in the college health centre with mononucleosis? When I put the experience in context, it loses its power to undermine my confidence. Failure teaches us what’s important. I have a friend who was made redundant…It caught her by surprise because she was good at her work. “I tended to be full of pride,” she says. “I got away with it because I was so successful. Losing my job…humbled me. With pride you have no permission to fail. It’s a heavy yoke…and I don’t wear it any more. I feel lighter in my spirit without the burden of having to be perfect.’’’

    *A MORE DESCRIPTION OF HEAVEN*

    *TEXT:* REVELATION 21:1-8.

    1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
    2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
    3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
    4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
    5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
    6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
    7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
    8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

    *Timeless Truth:*_"For he (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God"_ (Hebrews 11:10).

    *INTRODUCTION*

    When Garden Eden was created, it was the most beautiful place Adam could ever conceive of, with all the beautiful birds, animals, plants and cool weather. However, nobody needed to tell Adam that there must be a better place because the God that used to commune with him in *"the cool of the day"* was not living in Eden. He must be dwelling in a better place. This faith was carried on from generations to generations until the time of Abraham, who in spite of all the wealth promised him, his affection was focused on the better city. *"For he (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God"*. Nobody was given a better revelation of heaven than Apostle John. Enoch and Elijah were said to be translated to heaven. How heaven looked like was left to human imaginations. Jesus Christ also mentioned heaven as the abode of the Triune God. He only told us it has many mansions. At the mount of transfiguration was revealed the glory of heaven and how the inhabitants will look like. Nothing more was revealed. Stephen saw heaven at the point of death but just faintly (Acts 7:55-56). Paul the apostle was taken to heaven which he called the third heaven, but he said he was not permitted to reveal what he saw to any except that he exposed that it has many foundations (Acts 11:10, 2 Corinthians 12:2-4). The text shows us the climax of God's revelation about heaven. Yet the Bible writers were short of words to describe heaven except that it is the place where God dwells from eternity, with all His created angels and saints. *"How beautiful heaven must be"*.

    *1. Prepared Heaven*

    a. Those who doubt the testimony of Apostle John must be ready to doubt his gospel and epistles that have transformed lives and brought supernatural comforts and revelation of Jesus Christ to mankind for centuries. *"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth"*. He was not told or heard from a third party. He saw it himself. It was not a remodelled new heaven and earth, but a totally new heaven and a new earth. *"And there was no more sea"*. There are three types of heaven mentioned in the Bible. There is the atmospheric heaven where the rain comes from (Deuteronomy 11:11). There is the second heaven called heavenlies where we have the galaxies including the primary domain of demonic forces and angelic conflicts (Ephesians 6:12). Then we have the third heaven or paradise where God dwells (2 Corinthians 12:2). *"For the first heaven and the first earth were passed away"*. The first two heavens were passed away except the third heaven. 2 Peter 3:12, 13 reveals how this will happen. *"….. wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. "*. The earth and the heavens will be destroyed through fervent heat. Jesus Himself confirmed that heaven and earth with all their structures, beauties, learnings and philosophies shall all pass away except the Word of God (Matthew 5:18, 24:35). In fact, all the human bodies will give way to eternal and indestructible bodies. Thus, what Apostle John saw was the giving away of all things that are visible and temporary for things that are eternal.
    b. *"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven"*. The earthly Jerusalem was referred to as the city of the Great King (Psalm 48:2, Matthew 5:35). This is referring to the Millennium holy Jerusalem from where Jesus will rule the whole world physically. John the apostle said that Jerusalem ceased to exist, but gave way to a completely New Jerusalem. This New Jerusalem was seen coming *"out of heaven"*. Obviously, it is seen coming from the third heaven which is the eternal throne of God. He used the imagery of the beauty of a bride coming to meet the husband to describe the beauty of heaven. This is the best description human language can give. *Prepared as a bride adorned for her husband"*. He then heard the voice of God announcing the plan of God right from eternity. What was that plan? That God will physically, live among men as King over loving subjects; as Father over His children in a happy family set up and as God over His redeemed and people. *"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God"*. This is the beginning of heaven, happy and holy eternity.

    *Question*

    Are you getting prepared for heaven in the practical sense of it? If Not, then you don't actually, believe in heaven.

    *2. Pacification with Happiness*

    a. The Apostle further gave a glimpse of how we will feel in heaven. *"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes"*. Tears of sorrow, anguish, lost loved ones, physical and psychological pains, etc.will all be forgotten. This is difficult to imagine for man. It is like imagining how God promised that *"your sins and iniquities will I remember no more"*. We don't have a problem with God forgiving our sins, but God forgetting our sins will be difficult to imagine. We will all forget the painful past as we will be overwhelmed with the glory of God for eternity. *"There shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away"*. The pains and the tears, called *"light afflictions"* will be for a moment. They will not survive the joy of eternity.
    b. For those who have difficulty with believing, *"he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful"*. Heaven is prepared already. When Jesus Christ was about going to heaven, He assured the disciples of going to build mansions for them. About 60 years later, when John saw the revelation, he was told by the Lord that it was done. It means it is a settled and concluded matter. *"And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end"*. In heaven there will not be any heat or tension, but total refreshments and happiness. *"I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely"*. Everything God has will be totally ours. All the gifts of God, physical or spiritual, will belong to us as possessions. Nothing needed or useful will be denied. We suffer different lacks while on earth. Heaven will be the opposite. *"He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son"*. Are you an overcomer over sin, Satan and all his temptations?

    *Question*

    What are the things you are suffering on earth? Do you see them as temporary?

    *3. Punishment of Hell*

    What are the things that will disqualify any from entering heaven? What would be the abode of those who will miss heaven? The answer is fearful. *"But the fearful, and unbelieving"*. Every evil action stems from fear and unbelief. Unbelief of what God has spoken and the consequences of disobedience, fear of man and what man can do are terrible paralysing feelings that draw men to perdition. *"And the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars"*. Notice that all those sins are now also found inside the Church among professing saints. So there will be eternal surprises when those who profess that heaven is their home find themselves in a totally different place called hell. They *"shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone*.

    *Question*

    Are you transparently free from all sins?

    *Prayer Points*

    1.Give praises to God that you are in that number saved by grace .
    2.Ask God to search your life, expose, purge and cleanse you from all disqualifying habits .
    3.Pray that the vision of heaven will get brighter and brighter to you and your mind and affections will be focused on heavenly things .
    4.Pray that all believers will be delivered from all forms of self deception and will take entering heaven more seriously .

    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away" (REVELATION 21:4).*_
    *John Harper, a Scottish Baptist pastor and evangelist, died on the _RMS Titanic_ in 1912. His last words, as testified by survivors, were "I have seen heaven, and it is beautiful" and "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved." Despite his death, Harper used his final moments to preach the gospel, expressing his deep assurance that beyond death lay a place of eternal peace. A rescued survivor testified that Harper, clinging to the wreckage, asked if he was saved and urged him to believe in Jesus Christ. The survivor later accepted Christ and called himself "the last convert of John Harper."*
    *Today's passage paints a breath-taking vision of the new heaven and new earth. John sees the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending from God, adorned like a bride. A powerful voice declares that God will dwell among His people, wiping away every tear. Death, mourning, crying, and pain will be gone forever. The former things will pass away, and everything will be made new. God, the Alpha and Omega, promises the water of life to those who thirst. But He also warns that those who reject Him (those living in sin, fear, unbelief) will face eternal separation in the lake of fire.*
    *In this world, we experience suffering in many forms such as loss, illness, disappointment, pain and injustice. But for those who belong to Christ, these trials are temporary. Christ assures us that a glorious future awaits us, one where God Himself will comfort us, and all suffering will cease. This hope should encourage believers to endure hardships with faith, knowing that one day, we will step into a place where joy is endless and pain is no more. It also calls us to live righteously, rejecting sin and embracing the promise of eternity with God.*
    *No matter what trials you face today, hold unto the hope of heaven. Let this promise strengthen your faith, drive you to share the gospel, and encourage you to live in readiness for Christ's return. A day is coming when all suffering will cease and there will be no more tears, pain or death. Get ready to be part of this eternally glorious moment.*
    2. Morning Prayer for today.
    MP.i. Morning Prayer
    For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. ⏤ Galatians 5:13
    Let your religion be less of a theory and more of a love affair. ⏤ G.K. Chesterton
    O God, who has redeemed us by the precious blood of the Lamb, help us to live for Your praise and glory in all that we do. Since Jesus Christ has died for us and we are not our own, we want to live lives worthy of Your holiness. We confess and renounce all our sins. Teach us to hate sin and give us the grace to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, to the glory of Your holy name.
    We ask You to reveal Yourself to us this morning as we go forth and to give us the assurance of Your presence. You have promised that as our days are, so shall our strength be, and that Your grace will always be sufficient for us. We cling to these promises as we enter a new day whose experiences we cannot predict. We do not know what dangers we will encounter, what burdens will be placed on us, what temptations will whisper in our ears, what pitfalls will lie in our path, or what insidious influences will threaten the purity of our souls.
    So we hide ourselves in You and trust You to keep us safe all day.
    We desire to be useful and helpful to others. Save us from selfishness and self-centeredness. Teach us the great lesson of service. May we have the mind of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve. May we serve one another in love. May we live to help others and do good.
    Help us to see the needs we can meet, to perceive the ways we can serve, and then give us the true spirit of ministry so that we may do the things that will bless others. Fill us with Your Spirit so that we may be like You. We ask all this in the name of our Savior. Amen.
There are three types of heaven mentioned in the Bible. There is the atmospheric heaven where the rain comes from (Deuteronomy 11:11). There is the second heaven called heavenlies where we have the galaxies including the primary domain of demonic forces and angelic conflicts (Ephesians 6:12). Then we have the third heaven or paradise where God dwells (2 Corinthians 12:2). *"For the first heaven and the first earth were passed away"*. The first two heavens were passed away except the third heaven. 2 Peter 3:12, 13 reveals how this will happen. *"….. wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. "*. The earth and the heavens will be destroyed through fervent heat. Jesus Himself confirmed that heaven and earth with all their structures, beauties, learnings and philosophies shall all pass away except the Word of God (Matthew 5:18, 24:35). In fact, all the human bodies will give way to eternal and indestructible bodies. Thus, what Apostle John saw was the giving away of all things that are visible and temporary for things that are eternal. b. *"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven"*. The earthly Jerusalem was referred to as the city of the Great King (Psalm 48:2, Matthew 5:35). This is referring to the Millennium holy Jerusalem from where Jesus will rule the whole world physically. John the apostle said that Jerusalem ceased to exist, but gave way to a completely New Jerusalem. This New Jerusalem was seen coming *"out of heaven"*. Obviously, it is seen coming from the third heaven which is the eternal throne of God. He used the imagery of the beauty of a bride coming to meet the husband to describe the beauty of heaven. This is the best description human language can give. *Prepared as a bride adorned for her husband"*. He then heard the voice of God announcing the plan of God right from eternity. What was that plan? That God will physically, live among men as King over loving subjects; as Father over His children in a happy family set up and as God over His redeemed and people. *"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God"*. This is the beginning of heaven, happy and holy eternity. *Question* Are you getting prepared for heaven in the practical sense of it? If Not, then you don't actually, believe in heaven. *2. Pacification with Happiness* a. The Apostle further gave a glimpse of how we will feel in heaven. *"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes"*. Tears of sorrow, anguish, lost loved ones, physical and psychological pains, etc.will all be forgotten. This is difficult to imagine for man. It is like imagining how God promised that *"your sins and iniquities will I remember no more"*. We don't have a problem with God forgiving our sins, but God forgetting our sins will be difficult to imagine. We will all forget the painful past as we will be overwhelmed with the glory of God for eternity. *"There shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away"*. The pains and the tears, called *"light afflictions"* will be for a moment. They will not survive the joy of eternity. b. For those who have difficulty with believing, *"he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful"*. Heaven is prepared already. When Jesus Christ was about going to heaven, He assured the disciples of going to build mansions for them. About 60 years later, when John saw the revelation, he was told by the Lord that it was done. It means it is a settled and concluded matter. *"And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end"*. In heaven there will not be any heat or tension, but total refreshments and happiness. *"I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely"*. Everything God has will be totally ours. All the gifts of God, physical or spiritual, will belong to us as possessions. Nothing needed or useful will be denied. We suffer different lacks while on earth. Heaven will be the opposite. *"He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son"*. Are you an overcomer over sin, Satan and all his temptations? *Question* What are the things you are suffering on earth? Do you see them as temporary? *3. Punishment of Hell* What are the things that will disqualify any from entering heaven? What would be the abode of those who will miss heaven? The answer is fearful. *"But the fearful, and unbelieving"*. Every evil action stems from fear and unbelief. Unbelief of what God has spoken and the consequences of disobedience, fear of man and what man can do are terrible paralysing feelings that draw men to perdition. *"And the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars"*. Notice that all those sins are now also found inside the Church among professing saints. So there will be eternal surprises when those who profess that heaven is their home find themselves in a totally different place called hell. They *"shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone*. *Question* Are you transparently free from all sins? *Prayer Points* 1.Give praises to God that you are in that number saved by grace 🙏. 2.Ask God to search your life, expose, purge and cleanse you from all disqualifying habits 🙏. 3.Pray that the vision of heaven will get brighter and brighter to you and your mind and affections will be focused on heavenly things 🙏. 4.Pray that all believers will be delivered from all forms of self deception and will take entering heaven more seriously 🙏. *HYMN:* How Beautiful Heaven Must Be. *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* JOB 16-18. His last words, as testified by survivors, were "I have seen heaven, and it is beautiful" and "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved." Despite his death, Harper used his final moments to preach the gospel, expressing his deep assurance that beyond death lay a place of eternal peace. A rescued survivor testified that Harper, clinging to the wreckage, asked if he was saved and urged him to believe in Jesus Christ. The survivor later accepted Christ and called himself "the last convert of John Harper."* *Today's passage paints a breath-taking vision of the new heaven and new earth. John sees the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending from God, adorned like a bride. A powerful voice declares that God will dwell among His people, wiping away every tear. Death, mourning, crying, and pain will be gone forever. The former things will pass away, and everything will be made new. God, the Alpha and Omega, promises the water of life to those who thirst. But He also warns that those who reject Him (those living in sin, fear, unbelief) will face eternal separation in the lake of fire.* *In this world, we experience suffering in many forms such as loss, illness, disappointment, pain and injustice. But for those who belong to Christ, these trials are temporary. Christ assures us that a glorious future awaits us, one where God Himself will comfort us, and all suffering will cease. This hope should encourage believers to endure hardships with faith, knowing that one day, we will step into a place where joy is endless and pain is no more. It also calls us to live righteously, rejecting sin and embracing the promise of eternity with God.* *No matter what trials you face today, hold unto the hope of heaven. Let this promise strengthen your faith, drive you to share the gospel, and encourage you to live in readiness for Christ's return. Chesterton O God, who has redeemed us by the precious blood of the Lamb, help us to live for Your praise and glory in all that we do. Since Jesus Christ has died for us and we are not our own, we want to live lives worthy of Your holiness. We confess and renounce all our sins. Teach us to hate sin and give us the grace to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, to the glory of Your holy name. We ask You to reveal Yourself to us this morning as we go forth and to give us the assurance of Your presence. You have promised that as our days are, so shall our strength be, and that Your grace will always be sufficient for us. We cling to these promises as we enter a new day whose experiences we cannot predict. We do not know what dangers we will encounter, what burdens will be placed on us, what temptations will whisper in our ears, what pitfalls will lie in our path, or what insidious influences will threaten the purity of our souls. So we hide ourselves in You and trust You to keep us safe all day. We desire to be useful and helpful to others. Save us from selfishness and self-centeredness. Teach us the great lesson of service. May we have the mind of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve. May we serve one another in love. May we live to help others and do good. Help us to see the needs we can meet, to perceive the ways we can serve, and then give us the true spirit of ministry so that we may do the things that will bless others. Fill us with Your Spirit so that we may be like You. We ask all this in the name of our Savior. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/39/morning #taptapstudio #youdevotion.
  • Christian whistleblower nurse Vanessa Sivadge has secured a settlement with Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) that requires the hospital to establish what her attorneys describe as the first free “detransitioner clinic” in the United States.
    The clinic, scheduled to open by the end of October, will provide free care for at least five years to patients up to age 21 who underwent transgender procedures at TCH or elsewhere and are experiencing fertility, endocrine, psychiatric or other long-term health complications.
    The settlement follows Sivadge’s allegations that TCH committed Medicaid fraud related to transgender treatments for minors. Sivadge, who was fired after speaking out and requesting a religious accommodation, said her Christian faith motivated her whistleblowing.
    Reflecting on the outcome, she said, “America’s First Detransitioner Clinic… It’s extraordinary. It’s unprecedented. It was worth it.” She added, “It’s over. I won. To God be the Glory.”
  • TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS
    SERMON TOPIC:
    HOPE FOR THE YOUTHS.
    There Is Still Hope!
    We are in a period where many young people are battling fear, unemployment, addiction, depression, immorality, broken homes, and uncertainty about the future. Many have lost hope because of repeated disappointments. Some believe they have no future, while others are searching for meaning in the wrong places.
    But God's message to every young person today is this:
    "There is hope for you!"
    Your present situation does not determine your final destination. God has not forgotten you. The God who raised Joseph from prison, David from the wilderness, Esther from obscurity, and Daniel from captivity is still raising young men and women today.
    No matter how dark your night may be, dawn is coming.
    Key Bible Texts
    Jeremiah 29:11
    > "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
    This promise was given to people living in difficult circumstances. God assured them that captivity was not the end of their story. Likewise, today's struggles are not the end of your journey.
    Joel 2:28
    > "Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy... your young men shall see visions."
    God has a divine assignment for the youth. Young people are not merely the future of the Church—they are part of God's work today.
    1 Timothy 4:12
    > "Let no one despise your youth..."
    Paul encouraged Timothy to become an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. Youth is not a limitation; it is an opportunity to glorify God.
    1. Hope Begins When You Know God Has a Purpose for Your Life
    Many young people compare themselves with others and feel like failures.
    But God never created anyone without purpose.
    David was forgotten by his family, yet God had already chosen him to become king.
    Your background cannot cancel God's purpose.
    Lesson: Never measure your future by your present condition.
    2. Hope Grows Through Right Choices
    Many destinies are destroyed not because God failed, but because wrong decisions were made.
    Choose:
    God over sin.
    Wisdom over foolishness.
    Discipline over laziness.
    Character over popularity.
    Purpose over pleasure.
    Every decision you make today shapes your tomorrow.
    Proverbs 3:5–6 teaches us to trust the Lord rather than our own understanding.
    3. Hope Survives Every Delay
    Joseph waited.
    David waited.
    Abraham waited.
    Jesus Himself waited until the appointed time before beginning His ministry.
    Delay does not mean denial.
    God's timing is always perfect.
    Never give up because your miracle seems slow.
    4. Hope Becomes Reality Through Faith and Hard Work
    Faith is not laziness.
    Prayer is not an excuse for idleness.
    God blesses diligent hands.
    Develop your gifts.
    Learn valuable skills.
    Study the Scriptures.
    Remain faithful.
    Keep improving yourself while waiting for God's open doors.
    5. Hope Is Found Completely in Christ
    Money cannot replace hope.
    Fame cannot replace hope.
    Friends cannot replace hope.
    Only Jesus gives lasting hope.
    Without Christ, success is empty.
    With Christ, even difficult seasons become stepping stones to victory.
    Biblical Case Study:
    Joseph (Genesis 37–50)
    Joseph was young when God gave him dreams.
    His brothers hated him.
    He was thrown into a pit.
    He was sold into slavery.
    He was falsely accused.
    He was imprisoned.
    Yet Joseph refused to lose hope.
    At God's appointed time, he became the Prime Minister of Egypt and saved many lives.
    Lessons
    from Joseph:
    Dreams may be delayed but not destroyed.
    Integrity attracts God's favor.
    God can turn suffering into promotion.
    Your present pain can prepare you for your future purpose.
    Practical Action Steps
    Build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
    Read your Bible every day.
    Pray consistently.
    Avoid destructive friendships.
    Learn useful skills and continue developing yourself.
    Honour your parents and spiritual leaders.
    Stay sexually pure.
    Refuse drugs, cultism, internet fraud, and violence.
    Believe that your future is in God's hands.
    Deep Spiritual Insights
    Hope is confidence in God's promises, not wishful thinking.
    God often prepares people privately before promoting them publicly.
    Your trials may be God's training ground.
    Every believer carries a divine purpose that no circumstance can destroy.
    Young people who walk with God become instruments of revival and transformation.
    Questions for Reflection
    1. Where have I placed my hope—in God or in worldly success?
    2. Am I making decisions that support God's purpose for my life?
    3. What habits are delaying my progress?
    4. Am I growing spiritually while waiting for God's timing?
    5. If Jesus returned today, would I be ready?
    Powerful Prayer Points
    1. Father, restore hope to every discouraged young person in Jesus' name.
    2. Lord, reveal Your purpose for my life.
    3. Every spirit of depression, fear, and hopelessness, leave my life in Jesus' name.
    4. Father, connect me with godly mentors and faithful friends.
    5. Destroy every addiction and sinful habit fighting my destiny.
    6. Open doors of education, employment, ministry, and divine opportunities.
    7. Grant me wisdom to make godly decisions every day.
    8. Let my generation experience genuine revival.
    9. Make me a vessel of honor in Your Kingdom.
    10. Let my life glorify Jesus until the very end.
    Call to Action
    Young people, the future is not lost. God is still calling, preparing, and empowering a generation that will stand for righteousness in a corrupt world.
    Do not surrender your destiny to despair. Do not allow temporary failures to define your future. Fix your eyes on Jesus, remain faithful, and keep moving forward.
    Remember the promise of Romans 15:13:
    > "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
    May the Lord raise a generation of young men and women who love Him, walk in holiness, influence society for Christ, and fulfill their divine purpose. Amen.
  • * DON'T LISTEN TO Bishop Mike Okonkwo, Abel Damina AND THEIR COHORTS PREACHING "ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED".* Pray for them.
    This OSAS (Once Saved Always Saved) message is destroying young believers in Nigeria and Africa
    It is giving them the boldness to continue in fornication, yahoo‑yahoo, fraud, pornography, drunkenness, and every other sin, because they have been told that “no sin can take you to hell once you accept Christ.”
    When you talk to them, they quote their pastor saying:
    “Only rejecting Christ sends you to hell. Not sin.”
    So to them, accepting Christ has become a license to explore every evil pleasure of the world and still expect heaven.
    And we wonder why a country with thousands of churches still drowns in corruption, immorality, and wickedness.
    If this pattern continues and if watchmen, genuine believers, and true pastors do not keep sounding the alarm, the younger generation will drift fully into perversion.
    And when that happens, immorality and scandals will tear the church apart, and church attendance will collapse the same way it has collapsed in many Western nations.
    I refuse to keep quiet while this doctrine destroys the Nigerian church.
    *Apostle Paul warned us in the Book of Galatians:*
    Galatians 1:6, I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
    * THESE ARE NEW TESTAMENT PROOFS THAT OSAS ( Once saved always saved) IS NOT BIBLICAL:*
    *1) Disciples who left Jesus*
    John 6:66
    “Many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.”
    They were disciples, not unbelievers.
    They followed Jesus.
    They left Jesus.
    They ended lost.
    Then Jesus turned to the Twelve:
    John 6:67
    “Will ye also go away?”
    Jesus asked because leaving is possible.
    *And Jesus said to those who already believed in him:*
    John 8:30 As he spake these words, many believed on him. 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
    *2) Judas — chosen, empowered,* commissioned… and lost
    John 17:12
    “The son of perdition.”
    You cannot become “lost” unless you were once “in.”
    *3) Demas — a minister who backslid*
    2 Timothy 4:10
    “Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world.”
    A believer.
    A minister.
    He forsook Christ.
    *4) Hymenaeus & Alexander — shipwrecked in the faith*
    1 Timothy 1:19–20
    “Some having put away faith have made shipwreck.”
    You cannot shipwreck a faith you never had.
    *5) Ananias & Sapphira — believers judged for sin*
    Acts 5:11
    “Great fear came upon all the church.”
    The church feared because believers fell physically and spiritually.
    *6) Galatian believers — fallen from grace*
    Galatians 5:4
    “Ye are fallen from grace.”
    You cannot fall from a place you never stood.
    *7) Corinthian believers — warned they could miss heaven*
    1 Corinthians 6:9–10
    “Be not deceived… the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
    Paul warned believers that sin can shut them out.
    *8 ) Hebrews — believers who fell away after deep spiritual experiences*
    Hebrews 6:4–6
    “It is impossible… if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance.”
    They were:
    • enlightened
    • tasted the heavenly gift
    • partakers of the Holy Ghost
    • tasted the good word
    • tasted the powers of the world to come
    And they fell away.
    *9) Hebrews again — willful sin after salvation brings judgment*
    Hebrews 10:26–27
    “If we sin willfully… there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.”
    “We” = believers.
    Willful sin = judgment.
    *10) Foolish virgins — believers shut out*
    Matthew 25:12
    “I know you not.”
    All ten were virgins.
    All ten had lamps.
    All ten waited for Christ.
    Five were rejected.
    *11) Jesus said: looking back disqualifies you*
    Luke 9:62
    “No man… looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
    Start + look back = disqualified.
    *12) Jesus said: only those who endure to the end will be saved*
    Matthew 24:13
    “He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
    Not “he that started.”
    “He that endured.”
    *13) Jesus said : branches in Him can be cut off and burned*
    John 15:6
    “If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth… and they burn them.”
    A branch in Christ can be cut off.
    *14) Paul feared being disqualified.*
    1 Corinthians 9:27
    “Lest… I myself should be a castaway.”
    If Paul could be disqualified, OSAS is finished.
    *15) Some will depart from the faith*
    1 Timothy 4:1
    “Some shall depart from the faith.”
    You cannot depart from a faith you never had.
    *16) Believers who return to the world end worse*
    2 Peter 2:20–22
    “The latter end is worse with them than the beginning.”
    They escaped the world.
    They returned.
    Their end is destruction.
    *17) Saved people later destroyed*
    Jude 1:5
    “The Lord saved them… afterward destroyed them.”
    Saved first.
    Destroyed later.
    * IN CONCLUSION:*
    Everyone know that there's a clear and perfect difference between darkness and light. In the same way there is a distinct difference between true believers in Christ and unbelievers.
    Therefore, those that believe in Christ must live like him according to the scripture:
    1 John 2:[3]If we obey God's commands, then we are sure that we know him.
    [4]Those who say that they know him, but do not obey his commands, are liars and there is no truth in them.
    [5]All those who obey his word are people whose love for God has really been made perfect. This is how we can be sure that we are in union with God:
    [6]those who say that they remain in union with God should live just as Jesus Christ did.
    The New Testament does not teach Once Saved Always Saved.
    It teaches Start Well, Continue Well, End Well.
    True believers in Christ usually manifest Christlike character in their behavior.
    They proof their faith in Jesus Christ in their Godly behavior, because faith without works is dead.
    James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
    1 Peter 1:14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
    Backwardness /backsliding and every other sin destroys kingdom destiny, and send people to hell fire .
    We will not keep quiet while OSAS ( False ministers) corrupts and destroy the Nigerian and African Church of Christ.
    I pray that those of you that are saved will never be deceived to lose your salvation. I also pray that those that are not saved shall accept the true gospel and be saved in Jesus name.
    May God continue to protect and bless you abundantly, in JESUS name
    Have a blessed day
  • TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS
    SERMON TOPIC:
    RISING COST OF LIVING.
    Theme:
    God Is Still Our Provider in Difficult Times.
    A Message That Touches Every Home.
    Almost every family is feeling the pressure of today's economy. Food prices keep rising. Transportation costs are increasing. Rent is becoming difficult to pay. Many people work harder than ever, yet their income seems insufficient.
    The question is not, "Does God know what is happening?" The real question is, "How should believers respond when the cost of living keeps rising?"
    The Bible reminds us that although economies may fail, God never fails. Inflation may increase, but God's promises never lose their value.
    > Psalm 37:25 "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."
    This is not merely a promise of financial abundance, but an assurance of God's faithful care for those who trust Him.
    Key Bible Texts
    Matthew 6:31–33
    > "Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink?... But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
    Philippians 4:19
    > "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
    Paul wrote these words while facing hardship. God's provision is not limited by economic conditions.
    Psalm 23:1
    > "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."
    The Shepherd knows how to feed His sheep, even in dry seasons.
    1. Difficult Times Should Draw Us Closer to God, Not Away from Him
    Economic hardship often reveals where our confidence truly lies.
    Some become discouraged. Some lose hope. Some compromise their integrity.
    But God's children are called to trust Him more deeply.
    When the widow of Zarephath met Elijah (1 Kings 17), she had only one final meal left. Yet when she obeyed God's instruction, her flour and oil did not run out.
    Lesson: God specializes in sustaining His people when resources appear exhausted.
    2. God's Provision Often Comes Through Wisdom and Diligence
    Faith is not laziness.
    The Bible encourages planning, hard work, and wise management.
    > Proverbs 6:6-8 "Go to the ant... consider her ways, and be wise.
    God blesses:
    Honest labour
    Wise budgeting
    Saving where possible
    Avoiding unnecessary debt
    Contentment instead of endless comparison
    Prayer opens doors, but wisdom helps us walk through them.
    3. Never Compromise Your Integrity Because of Financial Pressure
    Many people justify fraud, bribery, corruption, and dishonesty because life has become expensive.
    But temporary gain can lead to lasting regret.
    > Proverbs 10:2 "Treasures of wickedness profit nothing."
    God can bless clean hands more than dishonest wealth.
    Joseph refused compromise in Egypt. Daniel refused corruption in Babylon.
    God eventually honoured them publicly.
    4. Learn the Secret of Contentment
    The world teaches us to measure success by possessions.
    The Bible teaches us to measure success by our relationship with Christ.
    Paul declared:
    > Philippians 4:11-12
    "I have learned... to be content."
    Contentment does not mean lacking ambition.
    It means refusing to allow possessions to control your peace.
    5. God Uses Difficult Seasons to Build Strong Faith
    Storms reveal strong foundations.
    Economic hardship teaches us:
    Dependence on God
    Gratitude
    Compassion
    Patience
    Generosity
    Sometimes God does not immediately remove the challenge because He is developing stronger character within us.
    Biblical Case Study:
    Elijah and the Widow of Zarephath (1 Kings 17:8–16)
    The widow was preparing her last meal before expecting death from famine.
    God instructed Elijah to ask her for food.
    Human reasoning would say, "She has almost nothing."
    But obedience released divine provision.
    The flour never finished.
    The oil never failed.
    God did not send truckloads of food.
    He sustained her day after day.
    Lesson: God's provision may not always come as abundance overnight, but He is faithful to sustain His children one day at a time.
    Practical Action Steps
    1. Put God first in every decision.
    2. Pray consistently for wisdom and open doors.
    3. Work diligently and develop useful skills.
    4. Manage money carefully and avoid waste.
    5. Refuse dishonest ways of making money.
    6. Help others whenever you can.
    7. Keep thanking God even while waiting for greater breakthroughs.
    Deep Spiritual Insights
    God's economy is greater than the world's economy.
    Provision is rooted in God's faithfulness, not merely in market conditions.
    Financial hardship should strengthen our dependence on God rather than weaken our faith.
    The greatest poverty is not lack of money but lack of God's presence.
    A believer's security is ultimately found in Christ, not in changing economic circumstances.
    Questions for Reflection
    1. Where do I place my trust—my income or God?
    2. Have financial pressures affected my spiritual life?
    3. Am I managing God's blessings wisely?
    4. Have I been tempted to compromise my integrity?
    5. How can I encourage someone facing financial hardship?
    Prayer Points
    1. Father, strengthen my faith in these difficult economic times.
    2. Lord, provide for every need in my family according to Your riches in glory.
    3. Grant me wisdom to manage every resource You have entrusted to me.
    4. Open new doors of honest employment, business, and opportunity.
    5. Deliver me from fear, anxiety, and hopelessness.
    6. Protect me from every temptation to compromise my integrity.
    7. Bless the work of my hands and establish me in fruitfulness.
    8. Let Your peace rule in my heart regardless of economic conditions.
    9. Remember the poor, the unemployed, widows, and vulnerable families with Your mercy.
    10. Bring healing, justice, and righteous leadership to our nation, that communities may flourish and people may live in peace.
    Call to Action
    The rising cost of living is real, but it is not greater than the power of God. The Lord who fed Israel in the wilderness, sustained the widow during famine, and multiplied the loaves and fish is still able to provide today.
    Do not let fear define your future. Trust God wholeheartedly, work faithfully, live with integrity, and remain steadfast in prayer. As you seek first His kingdom, believe that He will guide you, sustain you, and supply your needs according to His perfect wisdom and timing.
    May the God who provides open doors where there seem to be no doors, strengthen every weary heart, and fill every home with His peace and faithful provision. Amen.
Financial hardship should strengthen our dependence on God rather than weaken our faith. The greatest poverty is not lack of money but lack of God's presence. A believer's security is ultimately found in Christ, not in changing economic circumstances. Questions for Reflection 1. Where do I place my trust—my income or God? 2. Have financial pressures affected my spiritual life? 3. Am I managing God's blessings wisely? 4. Have I been tempted to compromise my integrity? 5. How can I encourage someone facing financial hardship? Prayer Points 1. Father, strengthen my faith in these difficult economic times. 2. Lord, provide for every need in my family according to Your riches in glory. 3. Grant me wisdom to manage every resource You have entrusted to me. 4. Open new doors of honest employment, business, and opportunity. 5. Deliver me from fear, anxiety, and hopelessness. 6. Protect me from every temptation to compromise my integrity. 7. Bless the work of my hands and establish me in fruitfulness. 8. Let Your peace rule in my heart regardless of economic conditions. 9. Remember the poor, the unemployed, widows, and vulnerable families with Your mercy. 10. Bring healing, justice, and righteous leadership to our nation, that communities may flourish and people may live in peace. Call to Action The rising cost of living is real, but it is not greater than the power of God. The Lord who fed Israel in the wilderness, sustained the widow during famine, and multiplied the loaves and fish is still able to provide today. Do not let fear define your future. Trust God wholeheartedly, work faithfully, live with integrity, and remain steadfast in prayer. As you seek first His kingdom, believe that He will guide you, sustain you, and supply your needs according to His perfect wisdom and timing. May the God who provides open doors where there seem to be no doors, strengthen every weary heart, and fill every home with His peace and faithful provision. Amen.
