The Lord reminded His people who were in exile, lost and far from home that He was just a prayer away, and that those who wholeheartedly sought Him would certainly find Him. While Jesus walked the earth, He taught and exemplified this life of prayer. Whatever be our petitions, when they are faith-filled, sincere, contrite, persistent and in line with God's will, the Lord will answer them. The reason Jesus came down to earth was to seek and to save the lost. When we seek God, His Kingdom and His righteousness and make that our top priority, we need not worry or fear, because God will take care of us.
