  • GLORIOUS 2026 NEW YEAR SERMON
    1ST JANUARY 2026

    LESSON: Malachi 3:16-18

TOPIC: 2026: YEAR OF GREATER TESTIMONY

    TEXT:
Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him. Malachi 3:18 (NKJV)

    INTRODUCTION:
Some years feel ordinary. You live them, you move on. But there are other years that arrive with a sense of divine weight. I honestly believe 2026 is one of those years. A year that will remember people. A year that will wipe tears. But also… a year that will expose wickedness. Like a two-edged sword. So maybe the question we should all quietly ask ourselves is simple: Where do I really stand with God? May the message bring joy and happiness into your life in Jesus name.

    [1]. GOD REMEMBERS HIS OWN
Mordecai served faithfully. He did the right thing.
He protected the king. And then…. No reward.
No recognition. Nothing. But one night, the King could not sleep, and the Book of Remembrance was opened.
Esther 6:1-3. That is how God works sometimes.
He watches. He records. And then, at the right time,
He remembers. In 2026, many who have loved God quietly… prayed quietly… given quietly… obeyed quietly… will discover that nothing was wasted. The tears. The sacrifices. The seasons that felt forgotten. God says,
“I remembered.” And when God remembers, He doesn’t whisper it. He makes it visible. He brings honor where there was neglect. He restores dignity where there was delay. I think that’s hope for someone who has waited a long time. Malachi 3:16

[2]. THE FAITHFUL WILL BE CELEBRATED
There are people who have walked with God sincerely, even when it cost them something. In 2026, many of such people will be openly lifted. God delights in turning quiet obedience into loud testimony. He will cause righteousness to shine like light… not because anyone fought for recognition, but because God Himself steps in and says, “It is time.” Psalm 37:5-6
Unfulfilled dreams. Abandoned projects. Long prayers that seemed unanswered. This is a year where God breathes again on what looked buried. It will not be by human push or manipulation, but by divine remembrance. Many will simply say,
    “This can only be God.”

[3]. A WARNING TO THE WICKED
    ( Revelation 22:11-12)
But God also speaks with a sober voice.
To those who delight in evil… who oppress, destroy, manipulate, and mock His name… He says, “Repent.” Because the days of wickedness are numbered and vengeance is mine. Romans 12:19.
Also, Revelation 22:11-12 reminds us that the Lord is coming with reward and judgment. If people insist on wickedness, this same year that blesses the righteous will confront the evil-doer. It is still mercy that God warns before He judges. But judgment is real.

    CONCLUSION:
2026 A YEAR OF DIVIDING LINE!
So, 2026 stands as a dividing line. A Year of Greater Testimony for those who love God. A Year of Vengeance for those who hate His ways. The choice… is ours.

    PRAYER:
Lord, remember me in 2026. Let my life enter Your Book of Remembrance. Help me walk sincerely with You. Deliver me from every path of wickedness. Amen.

    GOODWILL MESSAGE:
I believe this will be a beautiful year for those who cling to God with truth in their hearts.
    Stay faithful. Stay steady.

    HAPPY PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR
    HAVE GREATER TESTIMONY THIS YEAR.

    JESUS LOVES YOU; AND,
    HE TRULY CARES FOR YOU.

    GREATER TESTIMONY OR NOT!
    JESUS IS COMING BACK AGAIN!!
REPENT AND BE READY FOR HIM!!!

  • THE GOD OF VENGEANCE

In a world filled with injustice, oppression, wickedness, and cruelty, many ask, “Where is God?”

The Bible answers clearly: God is not blind to evil, nor silent about injustice.

He is the God of Vengeance — not in uncontrolled rage, but in perfect justice, holiness, and righteousness.

Psalm 94:1 — “O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.”

His vengeance is not like man's revenge; it is divine judgment against persistent evil and unrepentant wickedness.

    1. VENGEANCE BELONGS TO GOD ALONE

The scripture establishes a divine principle:

“Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” – Romans 12:19
“See now that I, even I, am he... I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal… to me belongeth vengeance and recompense.” – Deuteronomy 32:39-41

God does not give man the right to take revenge. When we retaliate, we step into God’s jurisdiction.

The God of vengeance acts with accuracy, timing, and eternal perspective.

    2. THE GOD OF VENGEANCE DEFENDS THE OPPRESSED

God’s vengeance is often an expression of His compassion for the righteous.

“Shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him?” – Luke 18:7

“The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” – Psalm 9:9

He arises for the weak, the abused, the betrayed, and the silenced.

When Pharaoh oppressed Israel, God displayed vengeance through plagues and judgment.

When Haman plotted against the Jews, God reversed the evil.

    3. GOD’S VENGEANCE IS SURE BUT NOT HASTY

God does not react; He responds with calculated justice.

“The Lord is slow to anger, great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked.” – Nahum 1:3
“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” – Hebrews 10:31

Delay is not denial. God's silence does not mean approval. He stores judgment for the appointed time.

    4. MERCY PRECEDES VENGEANCE

Before God releases judgment, He offers grace.

“The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” – 2 Peter 3:9
“As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked.” – Ezekiel 33:11

The God of vengeance is also the God of mercy. His anger is His strange work; His mercy is His delight.

    5. CHRIST PAID THE ULTIMATE PRICE

At the cross, divine vengeance against sin was poured out — not on sinners but on His Son.

“He was wounded for our transgressions... and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” – Isaiah 53:5-6
“God is just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” – Romans 3:26

Those who reject Christ face vengeance; those who accept Him receive mercy.

    NOTE
Stop fighting God's battles — release offenders to God.

Trust divine justice, even when delayed.

Repent before vengeance turns to judgment.

Walk in righteousness knowing God sees all.

    CONCLUSION

The God of vengeance is not a cruel tyrant but a righteous Judge.

He fights for the oppressed, humbles the proud, and repays the wicked.

But today, His arms are still open in mercy. Tomorrow, His justice will surely speak.

“Say ye to the righteous, it shall be well with him... Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him.” – Isaiah 3:10-11

Choose mercy while mercy is available.

    PRAYER
O God of Justice and Mercy, arise and judge with righteousness.

Vindicate the oppressed. Deliver Your people. Let Your perfect will prevail.

Keep us from taking vengeance into our hands and teach us to trust Your righteous judgment. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • What is God's Justice According to the Teaching of the Universal Church on the Trinity?
It is not the justice of kings, judges, and earthly law. Therefore, recompense according to God's justice is a recompense according to love, and according to man's alienation first from himself, and second from the divine love. It is much more difficult and precise than the teachings of other religions which define God's justice by the laws they have, which overall do not differ from the laws of previous nations; because for every sin there is an earthly punishment, and for all sins there is one punishment: the fire of hell.
This is the circle of justice according to the teaching of others, not us Christians. As for us, the justice of God is a question posed to man about the image and likeness of God given to him, which was renewed in Christ and sanctified by the Holy Spirit. It is a question about the being of man, what man did with his essence, and how he lived as an image of God?
This places the justice of the Gospel on a level completely different from the justice of any other law.
