• Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
THE WORD FOR TODAY THURSDAY JUNE 11, 2026.
    "SERVING REQUIRES FAITHFULNESS"

'...I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father.’  John 5: 30 KJV

IN HIS dealings with people, the Bible says of Christ: ‘Having loved His own…He loved them unto the end’ (John 13:1). And when it came to His dealings with God, He could say, ‘I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me’ (John 5:30 NKJV). Can God count on you? Can others? When you make a commitment, do you keep it? Do you quit on a whim, or break your word because you get a better offer? ‘…There was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Behold, I am here, Lord”’ (Acts 9:10 NKJV). God knew where to find Ananias. Does He know where to find you? Pastor Eric Hulstrand was preaching one Sunday when an elderly woman, Mary, fainted and struck her head on the end of the pew. They called for an ambulance and as they put her on the stretcher she regained consciousness and motioned for her daughter to come near. Everyone thought she was summoning her strength to convey what would be her final words. Her daughter leaned over until her ear was at Mary’s mouth. ‘My offering is in my purse,’ she whispered. God’s work shouldn’t go lacking because you’ve gone on  holiday and taken your tithes and offerings with you. ‘Honour the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce’ (Proverbs 3:9 NLT). Your faithfulness shouldn’t be contingent upon economic conditions, but upon your commitment to Christ. Remember the US Marine Corps motto, ‘Semper Fidelis’, the Latin for ‘Always Faithful’.

MD.ii. GREED FOR MONEY, THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL

"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs." - 1 Timothy 6:10

From time to time we see how shares on stock markets extremely fluctuate; suddenly you are able to be a millionaire, but you also could be poor at once. If you look at the core of this, it often has to do with greed for money.

Think about the many frauds, the billions of dollars in the criminal narcotics and sex industry. What about all the underprivileged children who are abused and/or forced into prostitution. The children who are forced to be child soldiers and kill other people. The kidnapping, blackmailing and killing in the underworld and mafia.

There are many problems which are related to greed for money and humankind try to solve these. Yes, people debate and discuss about these issues, however they are looking for solutions without consulting God.

    Rules and laws

The world today does not need any new law but the healthy and good rules which God has given us in His Word, such as the Ten Commandments. We cannot keep these laws though without God's power. That is why God has given His Son; for by accepting Him in our lives, we do not only receive eternal life, but Jesus also helps us to love one another, to be faithful to each other, to live a pure and holy life, to be happy and good to your fellow human.

There are healthy principles and values in the Bible. It turns out that when human beings apply these good principles and values in life, we will be able to live well together. The gospel of Jesus Christ is a happy message full of love and forgiveness. This good news gives us a God full of love Who forgives us and wants us to forgive each other. There is hope!

    2. Morning Prayer for today.

    MP.i. Morning Prayer

Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. ⏤ Psalm 119:105

The greatest thing anyone can do for God and man is to pray. ⏤ S.D. Gordon

Our Father in Heaven, we, Your earthly children, worship You. We thank You for Your word, which we can read at the opening of the day, taking it as a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. May it be to us indeed a light this day, shining for us and showing us the way of holiness. We always need a divine lamp, for the earth is dark. Sin has made it perilous to travel on these treacherous ways without a lamp. No human friend can guide us infallibly. We cannot guide ourselves. We would never find the way home were it not for the light of truth which You have given, which makes every smallest part of the path through this world clear and plain if we will walk in the light.

Let us not try to walk in the light of our own understanding, stumbling and falling. We put our hands in Yours this morning, and we would be led by You all day. We do not know where our paths will take us. It may be that darkness lies before us, or hard and rough ways, or that we must enter some Gethsemane. Lead us, O Jesus, where You will, and give us grace to follow submissively.

We seek Your blessing upon all the work of this day. Show us what You would have us do. May we find the tasks You have in Your plan and purpose for us, and then do them faithfully. Let us never resist Your gracious leading. Enable us always to do Your will, as it is done in Heaven. Bless us . . .
    In our home life,
    In our friendships,
    In our social life,
    In our play and work,
    In our praying and serving,
    In our toil and struggle,
    In our joy and sorrow.

We ask all in the name of Jesus our Savior. Amen.

  • To whom it may concern,

Sometimes, you may rise in the morning and say to yourself, “here I am once again, forcing myself to get out of bed in order to exist another day.” Just know you are understood because you are not alone. Yet, and most importantly, remember you are here because you are pivotal, have purpose due to what you’ve overcome. It may not seem that way to you, but it is. Therefore, is that triumph heavy? Absolutely! Yet despite what you are going through, or your past experiences, you have an amazing objective. You may not comprehend it now, but it’ll reveal itself to you in due time so have patience and allow our Lord #JesusChrist to give you rest.

What you need to know, is that you are special, because no one has been able to survive YOUR struggles, your conflicts, your pain and the hostility of your present or past experiences. It’s the reason why you are a champion because you fight inner battles and are always left standing because you were made to conquer! You may feel exhausted, but that’s okay. Besides, you will always be confronted with battles throughout your life. Just keep preparing for the win as you’ve always done because He knows you wear the #ArmorofGod!

    Sincerely yours in Christ,

    I enjoyed our splendid day.

    Help me to advocate,

    Fill me with clarity,
