Paul instructed believers in Jesus to live a faithful and fruitful “life worthy of the Lord and [to] please him in every way” (Colossians 1:10). Using a metaphor of replacing old clothes with new, he commands us to “put to death” our worldly, sinful habits (3:5-9) and adorn Christlike virtues (vv. 10-15). Paul singled out the importance of not engaging in harmful speech—“slander,” “filthy language,” and “lie[s]” (vv. 8-9). Truthfulness is essential for believers, for Christ is “the truth” (John 14:6). Elaborating in another letter, the apostle tells us to “stop telling lies [and] tell our neighbors the truth . . . . Let everything [we] say be good and helpful, so that [our] words will be an encouragement to those who hear them” (Ephesians 4:25, 29 nlt). When we “[speak] the truth in love” (v. 15), we bless others. And we’ll “[grow] in every way more and more like Christ” (v. 15 nlt).

LOST IN THE CHURCH: [BEING LOST IN CHURCH] Part Five Measuring Holiness There has been a great deception among many people who assume that holiness is measured by comparing a person’s good deeds with their bad deeds. When the scale of good deeds appears to outweigh the bad, they conclude that the person is holy. In this way, many have continued to measure Christianity by looking at what they have done and what they have not done. This kind of holiness focuses heavily on measuring sin according to the “Don’ts” found in Scripture. And this has become the interpretation of religion throughout history. It has continued to damage the Church and has contributed to leading many people to hell. Holiness or sin is not merely an action—not simply what a person does or does not do—but a condition of the heart. God is deeply concerned with the condition of our hearts. Actions are only the results of what is already inside the heart. Many have measured holiness by good deeds, yet the Lord does not look at things in that way. He looks at the spirit or intention behind every action, examining the manner and motive with which it was done. Therefore, the Lord is not simply looking for people who perform good deeds on earth, but for people who do what is right! There is a great difference between doing a good thing and doing the right thing. Sometimes the right thing may appear to be evil in the eyes of people. When the Lord commanded Israel to destroy the nations of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, as stated in Deuteronomy 20:17, could the world have called Him good? Yet we know without doubt that the Lord was doing what was right, because He does not make mistakes, and His works are always without error. Understand that sin is a condition of the heart, and there is One who examines the deepest intentions of the heart. A person can perform good deeds with an evil motive, while another can perform something that appears bad with a good intention. Therefore, it is very easy for a person to be deceived if they place their confidence in goodness or in their works. Indeed, evil kills; however, goodness can be responsible for deceiving and destroying even more people in the world than evil itself. One of Satan’s most powerful weapons for bringing destruction into the world comes through what appears to be good. There is hardly a greater deception Satan can use than coming to us dressed as an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14 Because sin is a condition of the heart, a person can be a murderer even if they have never physically killed anyone. Likewise, someone can be an adulterer before God even if they have never slept with a woman. For example, even if a lemon tree refuses to produce fruit, perhaps in an attempt to hide its nature, it cannot change and become a mango tree. We cannot remove sin from within ourselves by keeping the Law or by trying to be good. We must be transformed in our hearts as we hold firmly to the Cross. Otherwise, even if a person never commits an outward act of sin, that does not necessarily mean they are without guilt. Remember: even if a lemon tree does not produce fruit, that does not mean it will be counted as an orange tree. Circumcision of the Heart Essentially, there is no action a person can perform that can change their inner nature. Things such as religion and the Law can change the outward appearance, but they cannot transform the inner person. Christianity does not begin from the outside and move inward; rather, it begins from within and moves outward. Therefore, through religion, the Law, happiness, habits, the desire for praise, and so forth, it is entirely possible for a person to do good outwardly while not actually being good in their heart. That is why the Lord used circumcision as an illustration of removing the outward covering of hypocrisy, so that what is inside would correspond with what is outside. This was the foundation of the circumcision commanded by the Lord in the house of Israel, when He instructed them to circumcise the foreskin of their bodies. And was this not a prophecy concerning the circumcision of the heart in our present age, when we look to Christ, as it is written in Philippians 3:3: > “For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh.” If you are in church and have not been born again, understand that your nature has not been transformed. Therefore, even if you pretend to do good, fast extensively, keep all the Laws, observe all the ancient festivals, new moons, or Sabbaths, understand that hell awaits you! TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS. SERMON TOPIC: 5 THINGS EVERY CHRISTIAN MAN SHOULD NEVER COMPROMISE. A Christian man is not measured by how loud he speaks, how successful he becomes, how much money he makes, or how many people respect him. A Christian man is measured by what he refuses to compromise when nobody is watching. We live in a generation where compromise is often called wisdom, holiness is called extremism, and standing for truth is considered foolishness. But there are moments when a man must say: “I may lose the opportunity, but I will not lose my integrity. I may lose the money, but I will not lose my testimony. I may stand alone, but I will not deny my God.” Joseph was tempted, but he refused. Daniel was pressured, but he refused. Job was tested, but he held on. The question today is not, “What are you willing to gain?” The question is: “What are you unwilling to lose?” KEY TEXT Proverbs 4:23 — “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Your heart is the control center of your life. When the heart is compromised, character eventually follows. When character falls, destiny can be damaged. 1. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD Matthew 6:33 — “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness…” God must remain first. Not your career. Not your business. Not your relationship. Not your political connection. Not money. Not popularity. A Christian man who puts everything before God may gain the world but lose his spiritual direction. Biblical Example: Daniel Daniel was surrounded by a culture that wanted to reshape his identity. Yet Daniel 1:8 says: “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself…” Notice the phrase: “purposed in his heart.” Daniel decided before the pressure came. That is wisdom. Don't wait until temptation comes before deciding what you believe. Spiritual Insight Private convictions produce public strength. If your relationship with God is strong in private, you will have the courage to stand for Him in public. Practical Action Steps - Maintain a consistent prayer life. - Study God's Word daily. - Attend fellowship. - Make decisions according to biblical principles. - Never allow success to replace your devotion to God. 2. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR INTEGRITY Proverbs 10:9 — “He that walketh uprightly walketh surely…” Integrity means who you are when nobody is watching. A man may deceive people, but he cannot deceive God. Don't lie because the truth may cost you. Don't steal because others are doing it. Don't manipulate people because you have power. Don't falsify documents because you want quick success. Don't betray someone's trust for personal gain. Biblical Example: Joseph Joseph was in Egypt when Potiphar's wife tempted him. Nobody from his family was there. Nobody from his community was watching. Joseph could have said, “Nobody will know.” Instead, he said: “How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” — Genesis 39:9 Joseph understood something powerful: Sin is not primarily about who is watching you. It is about who you belong to. Spiritual Insight Your character is building your future even when nobody applauds you. Never sacrifice a permanent testimony for a temporary pleasure. 3. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR PURITY 1 Thessalonians 4:3 — “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification…” Sexual temptation is one of the areas where many men have destroyed marriages, ministries, businesses, reputations and destinies. A Christian man must understand that not every attractive opportunity is a divine opportunity. You need boundaries. You need discipline. You need accountability. You need the fear of God. Joseph's Example Joseph didn't negotiate with temptation. He didn't say: "Let me think about it." He ran. Genesis 39:12: “And he left his garment in her hand, and fled…” Sometimes the most spiritual thing a man can do is run away. Run from compromising relationships. Run from pornography. Run from secret affairs. Run from conversations that weaken your convictions. Run from environments designed to destroy your purity. Spiritual Insight You cannot repeatedly feed your flesh and expect your spirit to remain strong. What you watch affects what you desire. What you desire influences what you pursue. What you pursue eventually shapes your character. 4. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY A Christian man must learn to take responsibility. 1 Timothy 5:8 says: «“But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith…”» Biblical manhood is not about domination. It is about responsibility, sacrifice, protection, leadership and service. A Christian man should not run away from responsibility. Be responsible with: - Your family - Your finances - Your words - Your spiritual life - Your work - Your commitments - Your children - Your calling Biblical Example: Joshua Joshua declared: “As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” — Joshua 24:15 Joshua didn't say, “As for me, whatever my family decides.” He took spiritual responsibility. Spiritual Insight Leadership begins with responsibility before it becomes authority. Don't demand to be respected as a leader while refusing to carry responsibility. 5. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR FAITH IN TIMES OF PRESSURE Anybody can praise God when everything is working. But what happens when the prayer has not yet been answered? What happens when business is struggling? What happens when people misunderstand you? What happens when your friends abandon you? What happens when obedience becomes expensive? That is when genuine faith is revealed. Job 13:15: “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him…” Job lost much, but he refused to lose his faith. Biblical Example: The Three Hebrew Men Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were commanded to bow before Nebuchadnezzar's image. They refused. Daniel 3:17–18 shows their confidence: «“Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us… But if not… we will not serve thy gods.”» That is powerful faith. They were essentially saying: “Even if God does not answer the way we expect, we will still remain faithful.” Spiritual Insight Faith is not proven when God gives you what you want; faith is proven when you continue trusting Him when you don't understand what He is doing. REAL-LIFE LESSON Imagine a Christian man who receives a lucrative business opportunity. The money is excellent. But he discovers that the business requires him to falsify records and deceive customers. He has two choices: Profit with compromise or obedience with integrity. The world may tell him: "Everybody does it." But heaven asks: “Will you remain faithful?” Sometimes obedience will cost you money. Sometimes integrity will cost you opportunities. Sometimes holiness will make you unpopular. But remember: Anything you gain by compromising your relationship with God is too expensive. FIVE THINGS TO REMEMBER 1. Your relationship with God Never replace God with success. 2. Your integrity Never exchange character for temporary gain. 3. Your purity Never sacrifice holiness for temporary pleasure. 4. Your responsibility Never run away from what God has entrusted to you. 5. Your faith Never abandon God because the journey becomes difficult. PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS This week: 1. Examine your heart. Ask God to reveal areas of compromise. 2. Identify your greatest temptation. Don't pretend it doesn't exist. 3. Set boundaries. Remove people, places, habits or media that continually pull you away from God. 4. Strengthen your spiritual life. Pray, study Scripture and maintain fellowship. 5. Find a trustworthy spiritual accountability partner. 6. Make one difficult decision based on biblical conviction rather than convenience. 7. Teach the next generation by your example. QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION 1. What am I currently tempted to compromise? 2. Is God truly first in my life? 3. Who am I when nobody is watching? 4. Have I allowed money or success to weaken my convictions? 5. Are there relationships that are pulling me away from God? 6. Am I taking responsibility for what God has entrusted to me? 7. Would my private life agree with my public testimony? 8. If obedience costs me something, will I still obey God? POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS 1. Father, give me the grace to remain faithful to You when nobody is watching. 2. Lord, strengthen my character and make me a man of integrity. 3. Every power pushing me toward compromise, be broken in Jesus' name. 4. Father, deliver me from every secret temptation that can destroy my testimony. 5. Give me strength to flee from every appearance of evil. 6. Lord, make me a responsible spiritual leader in my family and generation. 7. When pressure comes, give me the courage to stand for truth. 8. Father, let my private life and public testimony agree. 9. Give me grace to finish my Christian journey faithfully. 10. Lord Jesus, let my life become an altar that brings glory to Your name. CALL TO ACTION Christian man, the world does not need another man who can simply make money. It needs men who can be trusted. Men who can pray. Men who can stand for truth. Men who can keep their word. Men who can control their desires. Men who can protect their families. Men who can say NO when everyone else is saying YES. Men who will choose righteousness when compromise appears profitable. Men who will choose Christ when the world offers them another throne. Remember: Joseph refused compromise and preserved his destiny. Daniel refused compromise and maintained his influence. The three Hebrew men refused compromise and experienced God's presence in the fire. Your greatest victory may not be what you acquire. Your greatest victory may be what you refuse to surrender. So today, make a decision: “I will not compromise my God. I will not compromise my integrity. I will not compromise my purity. I will not compromise my responsibility. I will not compromise my faith.” Because a man who stands with God may stand alone for a moment, but he will never stand without God. Stand firm. Stay pure. Walk faithfully. August 16 - The Danger of Wrongly-Based Rituals #LifeOfChrist “Then the disciples of John came to Him, asking, ‘Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples do not fast?’ And Jesus said to them, ‘The attendants of the bridegroom cannot mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them, can they?’” (Matthew 9:14–15). Religious ritual and routine, if not handled appropriately, will always threaten true godliness. Some practices, such as praying to saints or lighting candles for the dead, are heretical. But even biblical practices, when their forms become the center of attention, can become barriers to true righteousness. Church attendance, Bible reading, saying grace before meals, and singing hymns can become lifeless habits that exclude true worship and praise. When we apply good things such as these the wrong way, they can keep us from faithful obedience . . . and keep unbelievers from trusting in God. Alms, prescribed prayer, and fasting were the three major expressions of piety the Jews performed in Jesus’ time. The leaders took these matters quite seriously and were meticulous to practice them publicly so as to impress others with their piety (cf. Matt. 6:2, 5, 16). Thus these practices became badges of pride and hypocrisy rather than marks of humble and genuine religion before God. Jesus’ point in mentioning the bridegroom and his attendants is to show how out of place it is for His followers (attendants) to mourn and fast while He (the Bridegroom) is with them in person. Pharisaical manners and rituals are always wrong for Christians, but even good practices (such as sincere fasting), if not done properly, can hinder what the Lord wants to accomplish in our midst. Ask Yourself Should our answer to this kind of hypocrisy be the removal of all forms, disciplines, and ritual practices from our worship? Or is there value in these kinds of expressions? What would go missing from our worship if it was all spur-of-the-moment, with no cherished repetitions?

UNREPENTANT SIN When people continually reject God's correction and refuse to repent, their hearts become hardened. «"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." — 1 John 1:9» Jesus didn't come to condemn us but to save us. This is the kind of work I have ever seen should be done. The higher classes have been strangely neglected. In the higher walks of life will be found many who will respond to the truth because it is consistent, because it bears the stamp of the high character of the gospel. Not a few of the men of ability thus won to the cause will enter energetically into the Lord’s work. Rulers and statesmen, men who occupy positions of trust and authority, thinking men and women of all classes, have their attention fixed upon the events taking place about us. They are watching the strained, restless relations that exist among the nations. They observe the intensity that is taking possession of every earthly element, and they recognize that something great and decisive is about to take place—that the world is on the verge of a stupendous crisis. We are not to forget the ... lawyers, ministers, senators, and judges, many of whom are slaves to intemperate habits. We are to leave no effort untried to show them that their souls are worth saving, that eternal life is worth striving for. The greatest men of the earth are not beyond the power of a wonder-working God.... When converted to Christ, many will become agencies in the hand of God to work for others of their own class.... Remember, all failures aren’t equal. For example, when a beautiful, talented young woman is the first-runner-up in a beauty contest, some say she failed. Yet some people would give their right arm to be named the second most attractive female in a competition. It’s a matter of perspective… [examine] your failures and weigh them according to their importance in the overall scheme of things…I once received a ‘D’ at college…it’s ridiculous, but that sticks in my mind like a pebble in my shoe. Why do I fixate on that and not the fact that it happened during the term I carried nineteen credit hours, worked part-time, got engaged, and spent six weeks in the college health centre with mononucleosis? When I put the experience in context, it loses its power to undermine my confidence. Failure teaches us what’s important. I have a friend who was made redundant…It caught her by surprise because she was good at her work. “I tended to be full of pride,” she says. “I got away with it because I was so successful. Losing my job…humbled me. With pride you have no permission to fail. It’s a heavy yoke…and I don’t wear it any more. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. *Timeless Truth:*_"For he (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God"_ (Hebrews 11:10). *INTRODUCTION* When Garden Eden was created, it was the most beautiful place Adam could ever conceive of, with all the beautiful birds, animals, plants and cool weather. However, nobody needed to tell Adam that there must be a better place because the God that used to commune with him in *"the cool of the day"* was not living in Eden. He must be dwelling in a better place. This faith was carried on from generations to generations until the time of Abraham, who in spite of all the wealth promised him, his affection was focused on the better city. *"For he (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God"*. Nobody was given a better revelation of heaven than Apostle John. Enoch and Elijah were said to be translated to heaven. How heaven looked like was left to human imaginations. Jesus Christ also mentioned heaven as the abode of the Triune God. He only told us it has many mansions. At the mount of transfiguration was revealed the glory of heaven and how the inhabitants will look like. Nothing more was revealed. Stephen saw heaven at the point of death but just faintly (Acts 7:55-56). Paul the apostle was taken to heaven which he called the third heaven, but he said he was not permitted to reveal what he saw to any except that he exposed that it has many foundations (Acts 11:10, 2 Corinthians 12:2-4). The text shows us the climax of God's revelation about heaven. Yet the Bible writers were short of words to describe heaven except that it is the place where God dwells from eternity, with all His created angels and saints. *"How beautiful heaven must be"*. *1. Prepared Heaven* a. Those who doubt the testimony of Apostle John must be ready to doubt his gospel and epistles that have transformed lives and brought supernatural comforts and revelation of Jesus Christ to mankind for centuries. *"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth"*. He was not told or heard from a third party. He saw it himself. It was not a remodelled new heaven and earth, but a totally new heaven and a new earth. *"And there was no more sea"*. There are three types of heaven mentioned in the Bible. There is the atmospheric heaven where the rain comes from (Deuteronomy 11:11). There is the second heaven called heavenlies where we have the galaxies including the primary domain of demonic forces and angelic conflicts (Ephesians 6:12). Then we have the third heaven or paradise where God dwells (2 Corinthians 12:2). *"For the first heaven and the first earth were passed away"*. The first two heavens were passed away except the third heaven. 2 Peter 3:12, 13 reveals how this will happen. *"….. wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. "*. The earth and the heavens will be destroyed through fervent heat. Jesus Himself confirmed that heaven and earth with all their structures, beauties, learnings and philosophies shall all pass away except the Word of God (Matthew 5:18, 24:35). In fact, all the human bodies will give way to eternal and indestructible bodies. Thus, what Apostle John saw was the giving away of all things that are visible and temporary for things that are eternal. b. *"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven"*. The earthly Jerusalem was referred to as the city of the Great King (Psalm 48:2, Matthew 5:35). This is referring to the Millennium holy Jerusalem from where Jesus will rule the whole world physically. John the apostle said that Jerusalem ceased to exist, but gave way to a completely New Jerusalem. This New Jerusalem was seen coming *"out of heaven"*. Obviously, it is seen coming from the third heaven which is the eternal throne of God. He used the imagery of the beauty of a bride coming to meet the husband to describe the beauty of heaven. This is the best description human language can give. *Prepared as a bride adorned for her husband"*. He then heard the voice of God announcing the plan of God right from eternity. What was that plan? That God will physically, live among men as King over loving subjects; as Father over His children in a happy family set up and as God over His redeemed and people. *"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God"*. This is the beginning of heaven, happy and holy eternity. *Question* Are you getting prepared for heaven in the practical sense of it? If Not, then you don't actually, believe in heaven. *2. Pacification with Happiness* a. The Apostle further gave a glimpse of how we will feel in heaven. *"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes"*. Tears of sorrow, anguish, lost loved ones, physical and psychological pains, etc.will all be forgotten. This is difficult to imagine for man. It is like imagining how God promised that *"your sins and iniquities will I remember no more"*. We don't have a problem with God forgiving our sins, but God forgetting our sins will be difficult to imagine. We will all forget the painful past as we will be overwhelmed with the glory of God for eternity. *"There shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away"*. The pains and the tears, called *"light afflictions"* will be for a moment. They will not survive the joy of eternity. b. For those who have difficulty with believing, *"he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful"*. Heaven is prepared already. When Jesus Christ was about going to heaven, He assured the disciples of going to build mansions for them. About 60 years later, when John saw the revelation, he was told by the Lord that it was done. It means it is a settled and concluded matter. *"And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end"*. In heaven there will not be any heat or tension, but total refreshments and happiness. *"I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely"*. Everything God has will be totally ours. All the gifts of God, physical or spiritual, will belong to us as possessions. Nothing needed or useful will be denied. We suffer different lacks while on earth. Heaven will be the opposite. *"He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son"*. Are you an overcomer over sin, Satan and all his temptations? *Question* What are the things you are suffering on earth? Do you see them as temporary? *3. Punishment of Hell* What are the things that will disqualify any from entering heaven? What would be the abode of those who will miss heaven? The answer is fearful. *"But the fearful, and unbelieving"*. Every evil action stems from fear and unbelief. Unbelief of what God has spoken and the consequences of disobedience, fear of man and what man can do are terrible paralysing feelings that draw men to perdition. *"And the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars"*. Notice that all those sins are now also found inside the Church among professing saints. So there will be eternal surprises when those who profess that heaven is their home find themselves in a totally different place called hell. Death, mourning, crying, and pain will be gone forever. The former things will pass away, and everything will be made new. God, the Alpha and Omega, promises the water of life to those who thirst. But He also warns that those who reject Him (those living in sin, fear, unbelief) will face eternal separation in the lake of fire.* *In this world, we experience suffering in many forms such as loss, illness, disappointment, pain and injustice. But for those who belong to Christ, these trials are temporary. Christ assures us that a glorious future awaits us, one where God Himself will comfort us, and all suffering will cease. For example, if you are driving a Car with a tank full of petrol from Lagos, which is in South West Nigeria, to somewhere in Northern Nigeria, you will need to refuel your car at some point during the course of your journey. However, if you were only going to Ibadan, which is also a city in the South West of Nigeria, you wouldn't need to stop on your way to buy more petrol. Anyone who wants to go far in life must invest resources that include holiness, hard work, knowledge, and good interpersonal skills in his or her life, while avoiding unproductive habits such as binge-watching movies, scrolling aimlessly on social media, wild partying, and the like. Discipline is required to go far in life. I recall when I was a child, my mother would compel me to stay indoors and study while my friends were outdoors playing football. I used to complain a lot about it, but she insisted until it became a part of me. One time, I was at my uncle's place, where a masquerade show was taking place on the street, and everyone was outside watching the show except me. My uncle came to me and asked why I didn't go outside to watch the show, and I responded, "The fellow everyone will watch someday does not sit around watching shows." Many years later, when God had lifted me, he reminded me of that day and said, "Today, the whole world is watching you." Beloved, what you invest in yourself is what will determine your height in life. While the other captives in the king of Babylon's palace were busy dining and feasting on the king's delicacies, Daniel and his three counterparts focused on consecrating themselves to the Lord (Daniel 1:3-12). I believe that they were not the only Jews in the king's palace at that time, but they were the only ones who went on to do exploits because they invested the right resources in themselves. Child of God, if you have big dreams that you want to see come to pass, then you must pay the price to invest in yourself. You must also let go of unnecessary weights, Such as laziness and a lack of self-control, as well as impurities like sin, which can hinder you from fulfilling God's plans for your life.
