    GOD IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU

    REV. AROME E. TOKULA

    Psalms 145:15-16 (NIV)
*m15 The EYES OF ALL LOOK TO YOU, and you give them their food at the proper time.
16 You OPEN YOUR HAND AND SATISFY THE DESIRES of every living thing.

God’s design is to take care of every area of your life all the days of your life. It has always been so and still remains the same because any attempt to take care of ‘mankind’ without God is purely satanic. That is exactly what the tower of Babel in Genesis 11 represented. The people wanted to build a city, society and ultimately a community that was totally opposed to everything that God stood for.

Genesis 11:4 (AMP) says, They said, “Come, let us build A CITY FOR OURSELVES, and a tower whose top will reach into the heavens, and let US MAKE A [FAMOUS] NAME FOR OURSELVES, so that WE WILL NOT BE SCATTERED [into separate groups] and be dispersed over the surface of the entire earth [AS THE LORD INSTRUCTED]”. They wanted to gather in one place, take care of themselves and make a famous name for ‘themselves’ when God actually prepared a garden for them and said to multiply and fill the earth (Genesis 1:28).

No government of any nation was designed to take care of you; neither is your job or business supposed to take care of you. You are God’s absolute responsibility!

The truth is, before you were born, your Father – God, went ahead of you and made everything ready for you to live and enjoy the abundant and fulfilling life. There is no season of your life that God has not covered. This is why you must reject those anxious thoughts and learn to trust God every day instead of focusing on your needs.
1 Peter 5:7 says, “casting ALL YOUR CARE upon Him, for HE CARES FOR YOU.” The original Greek literally reads: “casting your DISTRACTIONS upon Him because He is RESPONSIBLE for you!” Needs are just distractions of satan to stop you from looking up to God and trusting Him.

Faith however is knowing that God is responsible for you. Learn to look up to God and see what He has prepared for you. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 says, “… eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the THINGS which GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM. But God HAS REVEALED them to us through His Spirit...”

There are ‘things’ that God has prepared for you and as you look up to Him today, the Holy Spirit is revealing them to you. To ‘reveal’ is to make manifest. You don’t have to struggle and be apprehensive about them, you only need to rest and *see* them because it is the work of the Holy Ghost to reveal and lead you to them.

I know God has prepared and made ready your desire – job, house, children, new relationships, contract etc. Like today’s text, His hands are opened to you today so go ahead and receive all that is yours every day in Jesus’ Name.

    DECLARE
I have good God and Father Who’s hands are continually opened to me! Thank You Father because You have gone ahead of me and made all things ready! I reject fear, worry and anxiety and look up to You because everything is working and all things are falling into place for my good because You love me in Jesus’ Name.

    HELP FROM ABOVE

    REV. AROME E. TOKULA

    Psalms 121:2 (TPT)
2 I LOOK UP to the mountains and hills, LONGING FOR GOD’S HELP. But then I REALIZE that our TRUE HELP and protection come ONLY FROM THE LORD, our Creator who made the heavens and the earth.

Nobody makes it through life and becomes all that God wants him/her to become without the help of another person and I'm a testimony of a man whom God has marvelously helped!

It was a pitiful place to be when that sick impotent man at the pool of Bethesda told Jesus in John 5:7, “… Sir, I HAVE NO MAN to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”

It is abnormal when a child of God finds himself or herself in a place without help. That place where you don't have anybody to help you or where the needed help is delayed or denied. This is the reason it is important to position yourself in a place where you can constantly receive and enjoy the help that comes from God - from above!

You have to stop looking for help in the wrong places where you will never find it. To receive and enjoy God's help, you must turn your eyes completely to Him alone like we see the Psalmist doing in our text. The Psalmist saw the mountains that surrounded Jerusalem but refused to put his trust in them but rather wholly in God! The truth is, without God, the help of man is vain!

Isaiah 31:1 says, “Woe to THOSE WHO GO DOWN TO EGYPT FOR HELP, and RELY on HORSES, who TRUST IN CHARIOTS because THEY ARE MANY, and IN HORSEMEN because they ARE VERY STRONG, but who do not LOOK to the Holy One of Israel, nor SEEK THE LORD!” Who are you looking up to in your heart?

The king told the woman who cried to him for help during the famine 2 Kings 6:27 (MSG), “...If GOD won’t help you, where on earth can I go for help? To the granary? To the dairy?”

When you look completely to God especially in the place of prayer and praise, He raises help for you, sometimes from least expected sources!

When your confidence is rested solely on God, you'll begin to see Him raise people from all over to come and help you because true help is from above!

    DECLARE
Father, my eyes are upon You! I look to You because You're my Help, strength, and comfort. Thank You Holy Spirit my Helper, I can do all things because you empower me. I receive today all the associations needed to move me to the next level. I receive help today in Jesus' Name.

    STEP OFF THE SHORES

    REV. AROME E. TOKULA

    Psalms 107:23-24
23 Those who go down to the sea in ships, who DO BUSINESS on GREAT WATERS,
24 THEY SEE THE WORKS of the LORD, and HIS WONDERS in the deep.

Many are afraid of stepping off the shores into the deep ‘oceans’ of life in order to do business with God’s Word. They are fearful and will not dare to act by giving motion to their faith and because of that they don’t get the big ‘catch.'

God is calling us to come off the shores of life and take an adventure of faith by acting upon His Word.

When you have a revelation of the nature and character of God it won’t be ‘hard’ to trust what He says because faith isn’t a leap in the dark but a leap on the Word of God. This is exactly what Peter did when Jesus told him to come. Peter acted upon Jesus’ Word and walked on water (Matthew 14:19-20). There were no ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ for Peter!

What made Peter walk on water in simple faith was because he knew the character of Jesus. He knew that Jesus could be trusted and that He wouldn’t lie to him. Though it didn’t make sense to walk on water, Peter acted on the Words from the mouth of Jesus. This is why you must understand that faith isn’t a mechanical process that we follow but the result of a relationship we enjoy. Your faith is strengthened in the place of fellowship because you cannot trust who you do not know.

Peter said, “… Lord, IF IT IS YOU, command me to come to You ON THE WATER,” so Jesus said, “Come!” (Matthew 14:28-29). It had to be Jesus “not someone else” for Peter to step out of that boat. Those who know their God are strong and they do exploits (Daniel 11:32).

It is important as a child of God that every day you have special moments of devotion spent alone in fellowship with God. I call these moments ‘private devotion’ while some call it ‘quiet time.’ It is a time to be alone with God in meditation in His Word as you allow His Words to become personal to you. This is where faith is born. Without times like these, the life of faith will be a struggle.

When you know that God’s Word is the very Word of God speaking to you, it won’t be a struggle to act upon His Word like you would the word of your financial advisor, doctor, or coach. Like we see in our text, it is those who do business in ‘great’ waters that see the wonders of God! If you want to see the wonders, then stop playing safe! Do what He says to do!

Step off the shores today into the deep waters and experience new levels of victory.

    DECLARE
There are no impossibilities because the Word of God is my foundation for life. I know my Father and my faith is strengthened to act upon His Word. Thank You Father because Your Word can be depended upon because they are spoken from Your lips. I believe that I am healed, blessed, and favored in all that I do in Jesus' Name.

    A BLANK CHECK

    REV. AROME E. TOKULA

John 15:7 (AMP) - If you REMAIN IN ME and MY WORDS REMAIN IN YOU [that is, if we are VITALLY UNITED and My message lives in your heart], ask WHATEVER YOU WISH and it will be done for you.

In the earlier days of my walk with God; because of the things I was taught, I felt that serving God was going to be a boring religious walk but I came to discover that it is actually an adventure of faith!

When you receive the life of God you are actually given the liberty to dream and see your dreams come to pass! As you grow and mature in fellowship with God, you will come to discover that He literally gives you a blank check to fill because you will find your heart resonating with Him. While it is true that Jesus said in Matthew 7:14 that, “… NARROW is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there ARE FEW who find it,” we must never forget that it is not a ‘narrow life’ in itself; it is ‘the way’ that leads to this amazing and glorious life that is narrow! It is narrow and difficult because it leaves men with no option except Christ Jesus as the way! While many religions believe there are different ways to God, we know as believers that Jesus is the only way to God and many find it ‘difficult’ to accept this simple truth.

There is nothing small about the life of a child of God because it is only in God that you can see all your dreams come to fulfillment. Paul told the church in Corinth, “We didn't fence you in. The SMALLNESS you feel comes from WITHIN YOU. Your LIVES AREN'T SMALL, but you're LIVING THEM IN A SMALL WAY” (2 Corinthians 6:12 MSG). We live our lives in small ways when we don't dream big and our text gives us a pathway to having big dreams and seeing the coming to pass.

The day you get born again, you are ‘legally’ united with God, but you become ‘vitally’ united with Him as you crave, practice and stay in His presence through prayer and the study and meditation of the Word. The same way two people legally become married when they say, “I do’' but begin to enjoy the vital benefits of that relationship as they fellowship with each other on a daily basis!

When you are vitally connected to God in fellowship through His Word, He gives you a blank check called, “…  WHATEVER YOU WISH…” because your wish cannot be outside His will and purpose for your life! Literally, God makes Himself vulnerable to your desires when you are united with Him in thought, purpose and will. The secret to accurately filling this blank check is to be in constant fellowship with God.

    PRAYER
Father, teach me to know You better each passing day as I look into Your Word and stay with You in fellowship. I want my heart to beat with Yours because I know that as I abide in You, I have and receive in full all that my heart desires in Jesus mighty name.

    SATAN HAS BEEN DISARMED

    REV. AROME E. TOKULA

Colossians 2:15 - Having DISARMED PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

An unhealthy picture and image of the devil can cause believers to wait and wallow in defeat and shame! The image of Satan that you have should be that which is painted by the Word of God in the New Testament! Your picture of satan cannot be from books or testimonies based on the experiences of others because whatever they say outside the Word of God is a lie. John 8:44 (TPT) says that the devil is, “… FULL OF NOTHING BUT LIES—lying is his native tongue. He is a master of deception and the father of lies!’

The truth of God’s Word according to our text tells is that the devil has been disarmed! When an armed person is disarmed, it means the person no longer has what it takes to oppress, intimidate, and afflict harm again. In the same way, the devil is no longer armed with anything with which he can hurt you again! He doesn’t have anything to harm you with!

The devil’s chief arm with which to oppressed man was the power of death. No wonder Hebrews 2:14 says, “Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who HAD the POWER OF DEATH, that is, the devil.” Notice that scripture says, “… who HAD…” because he no longer has the power of death! Glory to God!

When John saw the resurrected Jesus on the island of Patmos in Revelation 1:18 He said to him, “I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the KEYS OF HADES and of DEATH.” Jesus now holds the authority of death and hell (hades) and that authority has been given to the believer! Jesus gave it to the believer and commissioned the church in Matthew 28:18 (TPT) saying, “… ALL AUTHORITY of the universe has been given to me,” then in Mark 16:17 He says, “And these signs will follow those who believe: IN MY NAME they will CAST OUT DEMONS; they will speak with new tongues.”

Until you start seeing the devil as a defeated personality, you'll struggle to wield your God given authority in Christ over him. Jesus has given you His name and that is what it takes to walk and live in victory! See the devil as the bible says and walk in victory in Jesus name!

    DECLARE
In Christ Jesus I stand victorious over all the works of the devil. Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection stripped the devil of his authority and gave me the authority to walk in victory over every demon and devil in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. In His name I rule and reign over every assault of the enemy because victory is mine!

    PONDER
Until you start seeing the devil as a defeated personality, you'll struggle to wield your God given authority in Christ over him.

Jesus gave it to the believer and commissioned the church in Matthew 28:18 (TPT) saying, “… ALL AUTHORITY of the universe has been given to me,” then in Mark 16:17 He says, “And these signs will follow those who believe: IN MY NAME they will CAST OUT DEMONS; they will speak with new tongues.” Until you start seeing the devil as a defeated personality, you'll struggle to wield your God given authority in Christ over him. Jesus has given you His name and that is what it takes to walk and live in victory! See the devil as the bible says and walk in victory in Jesus name! DECLARE In Christ Jesus I stand victorious over all the works of the devil. Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection stripped the devil of his authority and gave me the authority to walk in victory over every demon and devil in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. In His name I rule and reign over every assault of the enemy because victory is mine! PONDER Until you start seeing the devil as a defeated personality, you'll struggle to wield your God given authority in Christ over him. #IOFWithPastorArome #MorningDevotion #Euphoria #Devotional #March #MonthOfTheSpirit #2026_RevelationAndUprise

    BLOOD BROTHERS

    REV. AROME E. TOKULA

Proverbs 18:24 - A man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is A FRIEND who sticks closer than a brother.

Being a Christian in church is not a social gathering of some very nice people who have decided to do only good. It is a spiritual brotherhood! 1 Peter 2:17 says, “Honor all people. LOVE THE BROTHERHOOD. Fear God. Honor the king.” There is blood involved in our fellowship with God and one another and it is the blood of Jesus. Hebrews 12:24 says that we have come,
“… to the BLOOD OF SPRINKLING that speaks better things than that of Abel.”

The spirituality of our faith is that we are in a blood covenant with Jesus and our fellow believers, and this is what makes us impervious to the works of darkness.

Today’s text says, “… there is a friend who STICKS CLOSER than a brother.” To fully understand and appreciate the text, you’ll have to read it through the lens of the culture and the times in which it was written.

A bible commentary had this to say:

In Bible days, when two people would become ‘friends,’ they participated in a ceremony where they cut themselves, took the blood, and commingled each other’s blood. After the ceremony, the two were called “friends.” The word ‘friend’ as used in Proverbs 18:24 meant “Covenant friend” or “blood brother.” It implied the union of two people in a blood covenant and this covenant remained in effect until both covenant friends died. When one of the covenant friends died, the other extended the benefits and blessings of the covenant to the family of the deceased covenant friend. A blood brother is not someone that you share the same womb with but someone that you are in covenant with by blood.

So, Proverbs 18:24 can be read as “… but there is a BLOOD BROTHER who sticks closer than a brother.” The word ‘stick’ means ‘to hold up,’ and it speaks of loyalty, commitment, and devotion resulting in life and preservation. Deuteronomy 4:4 says, “But you who HELD FAST to the Lord your God ARE ALIVE today, every one of you.”

Jesus is our friend that sticks closer than a brother. He gave His blood for us! We are His blood brothers! Through faith in His shed blood, we have become blood brothers with Him. Ephesians 2:13 says, “But now IN CHRIST JESUS, you (Arome) who once were far away have been BROUGHT NEAR BY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST” [Emphasis mine]. The blood of Jesus has brought us near! We are no longer outsiders. We are insiders because there is blood between Jesus and us!

As you go out today, I want you to be conscious of the covenant that you have with Jesus! His blood flows through your veins. Be conscious of His blood (life) that was shed for you and live victoriously over anything the devil throws at you! Remember that your blood brother will never leave you nor forsake you!

    DECLARE
I am in covenant with Jesus. He is my blood brother! His life is my life. I am a partaker of His blood and there is no way I can lose! I declare today that the blood is my insurance against any plague, disaster, or evil that may come my way! My life is driven by the power of His blood and I am victorious in Jesus' Name!

    THE SPIRIT OF HONOUR

    REV. AROME E. TOKULA

Isaiah 11:3 (TPT) - He will find his delight in living by the SPIRIT OF THE FEAR of the Lord. He will neither JUDGE by APPEARANCES nor MAKE HIS DECISIONS based on RUMOURS.

The anointing of God’s Spirit will cause you to walk in the fear of God. The fear of God is not the same thing as being afraid of God because there's no fear in God!

This anointing brings holy reverence for God in your life such that you live in honour before God. In our text, it was prophesied that Jesus would walk in this anointing, and He did. Jesus said in John 5:19 (TPT), “... I speak to you timeless truth. The Son is not able to do ANYTHING FROM HIMSELF or THROUGH MY OWN INITIATIVE. I only do the works that I see the Father doing, for the Son does THE SAME WORKS as his Father.”

It isn't like Jesus didn't have initiatives, but He submitted His will to the will of the Father out of honour for the Father because He knew the Father loved Him. His decisions were more than 'good’ decisions; they were God’s decisions.

Some people by making wrong decisions have ruined and removed themselves from God’s plan and purposes for their lives because you can't walk with God on your own terms. As you in honour to God, He’ll teach you to ‘wait' for Him such that your 'judgements’ or decisions will not be based on appearances and rumors i.e. trends?

You don’t have to be like King Saul who lost out on God’s plans when in 1 Samuel 15 he was instructed through Samuel to go to war against the Amalekites and destroy them COMPLETELY. Saul went to war, but didn't destroy them COMPLETELY. He spared King Agag and brought some of the ‘choicest’ animals as spoils. When the prophet Samuel confronted him, his answer in 1 Samuel 15:15 was, “... the PEOPLE spared the BEST of the sheep and the oxen, to SACRIFICE to the LORD YOUR GOD; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.” Saul was a king who preferred to listen to the people rather than God. Keeping the best to make sacrifices to God doesn't justify disobedience in any way. The prophet told him, “… Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice…” (1 Samuel 15:22-23)

Saul lost out on God’s plans and purposes for his life because he would rather do a 'good’ thing than God’s thing. He followed the trend but with God, simple obedience is better than great sacrifices. Unlike David who would quickly repent and do God’s will, the bible says in 1 Samuel 15:30 (MSG) that Saul told Samuel, "... I have SINNED. But don't abandon me! SUPPORT me with your presence BEFORE THE LEADERS and THE PEOPLE. Come alongside me as I go back to worship GOD."

For Saul, it was always about appearances and trends. Jesus said in John 4:34, “... My food is TO DO THE WILL OF HIM WHO SENT ME, and to finish His work” because His greatest satisfaction was found in being right in the center of the Father’s will.

Avoid appearances and trends and yield to this Spirit of honour that is resident in your in the person of the Holy Spirit because this is where true success begins!

    DECLARE
I am totally and completely submitted to the will of the Father for my life. My one desire is to be right in the middle of His will and be found doing that which pleases Him. I have found my greatest fulfillment because I am in the very will of the Father doing that which pleases Him. I choose to walk in the Spirit of honour and fear of the Lord in Jesus’ Name.

    GOD HAS FOUND YOUR RANSOM

    REV. AROME E. TOKULA

    Job 33:23-24
23 “If there is a messenger for him, A MEDIATOR, one among a thousand, to SHOW MAN HIS UPRIGHTNESS,*
24 Then He is GRACIOUS TO HIM, and says, ‘Deliver him from going down to the Pit; I HAVE FOUND A RANSOM.’”

The fall of man in the garden of Eden necessitated a mediator! Man needed a priest (a mediator) to stand in the gap for him and be his go-between and it is interesting to note that God was man's first priest. Genesis 3:21 (TPT) says, “Yahweh-God made garments from ANIMAL SKINS to clothe Adam and Eve.” This was God performing priestly duties for Adam and Eve! Like the good Father that He is, he wasn’t out to expose their nakedness, rather He wanted them covered because, “… LOVE will COVER a multitude of SINS” (1 Peter 4:8).

As Adam’s Priest, God made atonement for him; a perfect covering through the sacrifice of an innocent animal in the garden which is a type of Jesus – the guiltless One who took our place and paid for our sins.

Reading about Job’s ordeal and the many things he suffered; one might want to accept whatever the devil throws at him/her as their lot in life but a careful study of the book of Job reveals that Job’s ordeal was because he didn’t have a mediator! The gap between fallen man and God is so wide that without a mediator man would be hopeless and for Job, scripture says he didn't have one who will stand in for him, plead His case and avert judgment. In Job 9:33-34 (MSG) he prayed,
33 How I wish we had an ARBITRATOR to step in and LET ME GET ON WITH LIFE
34 To BREAK GOD'S DEATH GRIP ON ME, to free me from this terror so I could breathe again.”

Your case doesn’t have to be like Job because you have an arbitrator (mediator) in the man Jesus! 1 Timothy 2:5 says, “For there is one God and one MEDIATOR between God and men, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS.” According to our text, the work of a mediator is to show man his righteousness and Jesus is the only person that presents us qualified before the Father and truly shows us that we are righteous and upright (2 Corinthians 5:21; Colossians 1:22).

Our text says, “Then He is GRACIOUS TO HIM, and says, ‘Deliver him from going down to the Pit; I HAVE FOUND A RANSOM’” (Job 33:24). Where God sees a ransom, His grace goes to work. God is gracious to us because of Jesus. While we find a mediator in Jesus who shows us our righteousness which He has given to us, God looks at Jesus and He sees a ransom who He offered for us! Because God has found a ransom, you are delivered from every form of harm and danger. Be ever conscious of your mediator in very situation and enjoy total deliverance today because God has found a ransom for you!

    DECLARE
I am not without hope in this world because Jesus is my ransom who has delivered me from evil and averted the justice due me. Thank You Lord Jesus for stepping in and taking my place on the cross; now I look to You and live. The power of death over my life is broken in Jesus name

    PUT IT IN JESUS’ HANDS

    REV. AROME E. TOKULA

Luke 9:16 (MSG) - He took the five loaves and two fish, lifted his face to heaven in prayer, BLESSED, broke, and gave the bread and fish to the disciples to hand out to the crowd.

Like Jesus, resources can multiply in your hands. The Bible says that Jesus lifted that little boy’s lunch of five loaves and two fish to heaven in prayer and ‘blessed’ it!

The word “bless” means to “give thanks.” Be thankful to God for what He has given you because you can’t complain or murmur your way up! Thank Him for that job that you have. If you are a volunteer in an establishment, be grateful to Him that you have an opportunity to volunteer and contribute to that establishment. It is no different when we give our offerings and sow our seeds. Be thankful! See the anointing of God coming upon it to multiply it.

When you spend quality time in prayer daily looking at the sacrifice of Jesus and lifting whatever you have – it could be a business, career, a project, a seed – to God, the supernatural power and ability of God will come upon it to multiply it. It will amaze you what God will do with what you yield to Him.

Alvin Slaughter sang, “What’s that you have in your hands, I can use it if you’re willing to lose it.”

The beauty of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is that whatever we have comes from Him. 1 Corinthians 4:7 (MSG) says, “… Isn't EVERYTHING YOU HAVE and EVERYTHING YOU ARE SHEER GIFTS from God?” Our callings, abilities, talents, and even material things are all ‘sheer gifts’ from God. They are nothing that we worked for!

These things that have been given to you can increase and become a major blessing to many if you learn to put them in God’s hands. Whatever God gives you remains yours until you willingly lift it to Him. God lays no forceful claim on anything He gives you unless you yield it to Him. Peter told Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5:4 (MSG), “… Before you sold it, it was all yours, and after you sold it, THE MONEY WAS yours TO DO WITH AS YOU WISHED.” Peter wanted them to know that they didn’t have to lie because the land and the proceeds were theirs even though everything comes from God! It’s your volition what to do with what God gives you.

What we often overlook in the miraculous multiplication of the bread and fish is the willingness of the ‘little’ boy to yield his 5 loaves and 2 fish into the hands of Jesus! (John 6:9). He took what He had and placed them in Jesus’ hands and after his lunch fed five thousand men besides women and children, the bible says there were twelve leftover baskets of whole bread and fish that weren’t touched (Luke 9:17). Who do you think got the twelve baskets? The boy of course! His lunch wasn’t little anymore! Nothing that you yield to God by putting in Jesus’ hands ever remains small.

    DECLARE
I am grateful for every opportunity you have given me in life. I refuse to complain and murmur. In faith and thanksgiving, I put my five loaves and two fish in Jesus’ hands and I rejoice. Thank You, Father, for increase because little always becomes much when it is in your Hands.

    PARTNERSHIP POWER

    REV. AROME E. TOKULA

1 Samuel 30:24 - “For who will heed you in this matter? But as his PART is who goes down to the battle, so shall his PART be who stays by the supplies; THEY SHALL SHARE ALIKE.”

Partnership is God’s program for propagating the Gospel and prospering His people here on earth. In 1 Samuel 30 the Bible tells us that David's camp was raided by the Amalekites and the people were discouraged because they had lost their children, wives, and properties, but David inquired of God on what next steps to take and God told him, “Pursue, for you shall surely OVERTAKE them and WITHOUT FAIL RECOVER ALL.” (1 Samuel 30:8)

If the word _'overtake'_ is juxtaposed, it will be the same thing as _‘takeover’._ The wisdom of God for taking over our inheritance and recovering anything that is lost is *partnership.*

The Bible tells us that David went to battle with 400 men while 200 stayed back to watch the home front. There was a quarrel however on how the recovered spoils should be shared among those who agreed to go and those who chose to stay. David said the reward would be shared equally because they were all in partnership! 1 Samuel 30:25 says, “So it was, from that day forward; HE MADE IT A STATUTE and an ORDINANCE for Israel TO THIS DAY.”

When you partner with an anointed ministry that preaches the _*gospel,*_ you share in the rewards that are accrued for every soul that is won, healed, delivered, and restored. According to our text, you have a _*‘part’*_ in every victory and testimony whether you went out there on the field or not.

In the New Testament Paul also emphasized this principle of partnership! He told the church in Philippians 1:7, “Just as it is right for me to think this of YOU ALL, because I have you in my heart, since both in my chains and the DEFENSE and CONFIRMATION OF THE GOSPEL, you all are PARTAKERS with me of GRACE.”

The Philippian church were partners with Paul in the preaching of the Gospel through their giving and because of this they shared in the very grace (blessing and empowerment) of God upon His life and ministry.

From Acts 16, we understand that these partners in Philippi consisted of prison wardens and businesspeople. Regardless of your profession, you can partner with the Gospel. It is to these partners that Paul said, “And MY GOD shall SUPPLY ALL your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)

The confidence in Paul's voice attests to the power of partnership! Philippians 4:19 is not a prayer or confession the Philippians made; it is a
*pronouncement* by Apostle Paul upon the Philippians.

Through partnership, we enjoy the mighty supply, recover whatever was lost, and take over places for the kingdom!

    DECLARE
I am happy that I am a joyful partner with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I give my money and resources to the preaching and propagation of the Gospel, I declare that I am a partaker of the grace of God and there are no losses in my life. I am enjoying grace and favor in all that I do. I thrive where others struggle! I recover and take over all in Jesus' Name.
