• Ever feel like you have to put on a "performance" for God?

Like you have to present the polished, strong, "faith-filled" version of yourself in prayer, even when you’re secretly overwhelmed, frustrated, or hurting?

We treat God like a demanding boss we're afraid of letting down, instead of a Father who loves us. Let's talk about why this actually blocks our intimacy with Him...

True intimacy with God means He gets your rawest drafts, not just your final, edited publication.

I was thinking about how much we miss out on because we're trying to be the "strong man for the job." We think showing our real, messy emotions will disqualify us from being used by Him.

But God’s economy is completely upside down. Your vulnerability doesn't disqualify you; it actually qualifies you.

Look at David. God chose him to be King knowing exactly how emotional and messy he would be.

God knew David would weep in the wilderness, question Him in the Psalms ("Where are you, God?!"), and completely fall apart when he failed.

Yet, David became God's favorite. Why?

Because WHILE SAUL CARED ABOUT PROTECTING HIS IMAGE, DAVID ONLY CARED ABOUT PROTECTING HIS INTIMACY.

He was radically, beautifully honest with his Father.

God knew the end from the beginning when He chose you for His work. He already knows about your hardships and your doubts. You aren't surprising Him by being human.

Stop trying to act tough before the Altar. God isn't looking for a perfect soldier; He’s looking for a child who knows they can't do life without their Father.

Go to Him today and tell Him the unfiltered truth. He can handle it.

Here is what we need to practice:

Prioritize Intimacy: Stop trying to act tough before the Altar. Go to Him today and tell Him the unfiltered truth.

Let God Be Your First Port of Call: He should be your go-to for any matter. No human being should ever feel like a safer place to pour out your heart than your Father.

He is your ultimate safe space.

    One Love!

  • WHY SOME PEOPLE NEVER EXPERIENCE THE ANOINTING

There is a painful mystery in the Body of Christ—
    Many talk about the anointing…
    Many sing about the anointing…
    But few walk in it.
    The anointing is not noise.
    It is not emotion.
    It is not charisma.
The anointing is the tangible manifestation of God’s presence upon a yielded vessel.
Yet, some people never experience it.
    Why?

    1. THEY DESIRE THE POWER, BUT NOT THE PERSON

The anointing is not a tool—it is a Person revealed.
Many want to cast out demons, heal the sick, and be seen…
But they do not hunger for intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
John 15:5 — “Without me, you can do nothing.”
The anointing flows from union, not ambition.

    2. THEY REFUSE THE PRICE OF BROKENNESS

“God does not anoint titles—He anoints broken vessels.”
The oil only flows when the vessel is crushed.
Psalm 51:17 — “A broken and a contrite heart… you will not despise.”
    Some avoid the process—
They run from correction, pain, pruning.
    But hear this:
    No crushing, no oil.

    3. THEY LIVE IN HIDDEN COMPROMISE

The anointing and sin cannot comfortably coexist.
Isaiah 59:1-2 — “Your iniquities have separated you from your God.”
    You can fake gifting,
    But you cannot fake presence.
    Many have talent…
But heaven is silent over their lives.
The anointing lifts when purity is compromised.

    4. THEY NEGLECT THE SECRET PLACE

Power in public is born in private.
Matthew 6:6 — “Enter your room… pray to your Father who is in secret.”
The anointing is not activated on stage—
It is cultivated in hidden places.
    Some people want impartation…
    But they reject consistency.
    You cannot microwave the anointing.

    5. THEY DISHONOR SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY

The anointing flows through divine order.
2 Kings 2:9 — “Let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”
Elisha received because he honored, followed, and served.
In this generation, many want mantles…
    But reject submission.
What you dishonor, you cannot receive from.

    6. THEY SEEK MANIFESTATION WITHOUT TRANSFORMATION
    Some want to look anointed…
    But refuse to become transformed.
Romans 12:2 — “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
    The anointing is not decoration—
It is the overflow of a changed life.

    7. THEY DO NOT DISCERN OR VALUE GOD’S PRESENCE
    Kathryn Kuhlman would whisper:
"He is more real than anything in this world."
Many grieve the Holy Spirit through carelessness.
Ephesians 4:30 — “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God.”
    The anointing is sensitive.
It responds to honor, reverence, and hunger.

    FINAL REVELATION
The anointing is not withheld from people—
It is entrusted to those who can carry it.
God is not looking for the most gifted…
He is looking for the most yielded.

    QUESTION
If the Holy Spirit examined your life today—would He find a vessel ready to carry His anointing, or a life too crowded to host Him?

  • OPEN THE EYES OF MY HEART — A PRAYER FOR TRUE INTIMACY & SPIRIT-LED LIVING

“Open the eyes of my heart, Lord… I want to see You.”

Not with the eyes of the flesh—but with the eyes of the spirit. Because the deepest realities of God are not discovered by logic alone, but by revelation.

The greatest hunger a believer can have is not for more information, but for more vision…

Not for more activity, but for more intimacy…

Not for more noise, but for more hearing.

“Having the eyes of your understanding being enlightened…” — Ephesians 1:18

There is a level where you don’t just believe God exists… you begin to perceive Him, recognize His voice, discern His patterns, and understand His dealings.

“Jesus, I want to know You and love You more…”

This is the cry of a heart that has tasted Him and refuses to remain shallow.

“That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection…” — Philippians 3:10

To know Him is not an event—it’s a journey.

And to love Him more is not emotion—it’s obedience.

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” — John 14:15

“I want to be Yours 100%…”
This is not religion. This is surrender.

This is where you stop giving God your weekends and start giving Him your whole life.

    “Present your bodies a living sacrifice…” — Romans 12:1

When a man is fully yielded, heaven gains an instrument.

When a heart becomes fully consecrated, the Spirit gains permission to move without resistance.

“I desire to see what the Father is doing… and do only what He does…”

This is the dimension of sonship—not just servanthood.

“The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do…” — John 5:19

    Jesus didn’t move by pressure.
    He moved by perception.

    He didn’t speak from impulse.

    He spoke from alignment.

    That’s the prophetic lifestyle:

    seeing before doing

    hearing before speaking

    obedience before movement

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word…” — Matthew 4:4

Not yesterday’s word. Not someone else’s word.

But the word God is speaking now.

“Without You I can do nothing…”

This is not weakness—this is spiritual intelligence.

“Apart from Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5

True maturity is not in pretending you’re strong.
True maturity is in knowing your strength is borrowed.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

The more aware you are of your vulnerability, the more dependent you become…

And the more dependent you become, the more dangerous you become in the spirit.

“I refuse to focus on my failures…”

This is where many believers lose battles they were never meant to lose—
Not because God stopped loving them…

But because they stopped believing they were still loved.

“There is therefore now no condemnation…” — Romans 8:1

Condemnation will make you run from God.

Conviction will make you run to God.

Your mistakes are not your identity.

Your failures are not your future.

Your past is not your prophecy.

“Forgetting those things which are behind…” — Philippians 3:13

    “…the beloved of God”
    This is your foundation.

    Not your performance.

    Not your perfection.

    Not your achievements.

“To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” — Ephesians 1:6

Before you ever did anything right…

    He loved you.

And when you truly understand His love, obedience stops being forced

    It becomes a response.

“…an unworthy servant bound by choice…”

This is the beauty of the Kingdom—God never enslaves, He invites.

“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself…” Luke 9:23

The strongest chains in the spirit are not chains of oppression…

They are chains of love, forged by surrender.

To be “bound” to Christ is to be free from sin.

To be “His” is to be liberated from self.

    PROPHETIC DECLARATION

    Today I pray:

Lord, open the eyes of my heart.
    Let my spirit become sensitive.
    Let my ears become sharp.
    Let my desires be purified.
I will not speak unless You speak.
I will not move unless You move.
I will not build what You didn’t design.
    I am Yours—fully.
    I am dependent—gladly.
    I am willing—joyfully.
    In Jesus’ name. Amen.

If this is your heart, type:
    “OPEN MY EYES LORD”

and share this with someone who needs to come back into alignment.

  • THE WAY GOD DERIVES PLEASURE IS THROUGH INTIMACY

God is not a distant monarch seated upon a throne merely observing creation—He is a Father yearning for fellowship. The way God derives pleasure is not through the noise of our activities or the grandeur of our performances, but through the stillness of intimacy.

It is when we come into the secret place, broken and yielded, that we touch the very heart of God. Heaven does not rejoice in religious routine; it rejoices in lovers who ascend daily to behold His face. That is where divine pleasure is found.

Before God uses a man, He enjoys him. Before there is commissioning, there must be communion. Adam’s first responsibility was not to name animals or till the ground—it was to walk with God in the cool of the day. Worship did not begin with songs—it began with presence.

And it is in that presence that God finds delight. We were not created first for work; we were created for oneness. God is not impressed by our works if our hearts are far. He seeks those who minister to Him, not just those who minister for Him.

If your strength in ministry outweighs your depth in intimacy, you will perform but never please Him. The secret to eternal relevance is to become a friend of God. Intimacy is how you host His heart and carry His fragrance. It is how God downloads His emotions into men and makes them extensions of His will on the earth.

Until you become a priest in His chambers, you cannot become a king in your territory. Pleasure to God is intimacy with man.
