• READ WITH ME – DAY 9

Topic: Let Love Live in You

    Key Verse:
"I give you a new command. Love one another. You must love one another, just as I have loved you. If you love one another, everyone will know you are my disciples."
    — John 13:34–35 (NIrV)

    Today's Reflection

One of the greatest proofs that we belong to Christ is not how much we know, how loudly we pray, or how long we have been Christians. It is the love we show to others.

Jesus gave His followers a new command: to love one another just as He has loved us. This kind of love is patient, kind, forgiving, humble, and selfless. It reflects the very heart of God.

The world may recognize people by their achievements or appearance, but Jesus said His disciples would be recognized by their love. As we grow spiritually, love should become part of our character.

Choose to forgive those who hurt you, speak kindly to others, help those in need, and treat everyone with respect. Love is not merely something we say—it is something we live every day.

When the love of Christ lives in you, your life becomes a testimony that points others to God.

    Today's Takeaway:
The clearest evidence of spiritual maturity is a heart that genuinely loves like Christ.

    Prayer:
Lord, fill my heart with Your love. Help me to forgive, serve, and treat others with kindness each day. Let my life reflect Your love so that others may see You through me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

  • The perfection of Jesus' love is truly humbling. Even in the face of betrayal by a close friend, His response wasn't condemnation but gentle hints at the Last Supper. As in Matthew 26:25 , when Judas asked, "Surely not I, Rabbi?" Jesus replied, "You have said so." Similarly, John 13:26-27 describes Jesus giving Judas a piece of bread, saying, "What you are going to do, do quickly." This quiet act underscores the immeasurable grace and unwavering love that defines Jesus. A powerful reminder of how we are called to live #PerfectLove #Jesus #TodaysReflections #GraceAndMercy #Matthew26 #John13

  • In John 13, we witness a moment of unparalleled humility as Jesus, the King of Kings, kneels to wash His disciples' feet, shattering conventional ideas of leadership and greatness. This profound act of servanthood isn’t just about cleansing feet; it’s a powerful symbol of unconditional love and the call to serve others selflessly, regardless of their actions toward us. Jesus challenges us to embrace humility in our own lives, redefining what it means to truly lead and love.
