  • Dear Brothers & Sisters,

    Grace and peace to you in Jesus' name.

    My name is Rev. Richard Rohi Sylva-Jaja. I have been in ministry for many years, having been ordained on 10th April, 1992. By God's grace, I serve as a pastor, Bible teacher, author, and missionary.

    Last year, my wife, our family, and I spent time seeking God's direction for our next mission field. We had planned to relocate to Brazil as missionaries, but the Lord clearly redirected us to Karji, Kaduna State, Nigeria. We arrived in November 2025 and immediately began the work He placed in our hearts.

    Since then, God has enabled us to plant The Maker's House Church (also known as AFLAME) and establish a Bible Training School. On 5th July 2026, we graduated our first 13 students, and today the church has grown to over 100 worshippers. We give God all the glory.

    One of our greatest challenges is our place of worship. We hold our services in the open space in front of our residence. Whenever it rains, our services are disrupted, making it urgent for us to erect a simple worship shelter on the piece of land God has graciously provided for the ministry.

    We also need basic ministry equipment such as a public address system, musical instruments, a generator, and discipleship materials. Beyond this, we are reaching out to many struggling families in our community with both the Gospel and practical acts of love.

    I have attached two short documentary videos that show the work God is doing in Karji.

    If the Lord places it on your heart, we would be grateful for your prayers, financial support, or an introduction to individuals, churches, or organizations that have a passion for missions and church planting. Every gift, no matter the size, will help us establish this growing ministry and reach more lives for Christ.

    Thank you for taking the time to read this. May God richly bless and reward you.

    Yours in Christ,

  • List of Government Universities in the Norththat persecute Christian students.

    They denied the Christian community the right to build chapel for Christian students to worship thereby denying them the freedom of worship.

    Bayero University Kano (BUK)

    Kaduna State University, (KASU)

    Sule Lamido University, Jigawa

    Umaru Musa Yar'Adua University, Katsina.

    Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Katsina

    Kano State University of Science and Technology, Wudil.

    These are just the few I'm aware of.

    There are still many of them.

    Note that in the South, Almost all universities have both mosques and Churches to accommodate all students but the reverse is the case in the North.

  • OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

    DATE: THURSDAY MARCH 5TH 2026

    TOPIC: WHEN THERE IS LIGHT 1

    MEMORISE:
    And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. - (Isaiah 10:27)

    BIBLE READING: MATTHEW 8:1-4 (KJV)

    1 When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

    2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

    3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

    4 And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

    MESSAGE:
    Jesus is the Light (John 8:12), and whenever He touches a person or a place, a miraculous transformation occurs. In John 9:1-7, Jesus spat on the ground, made some mud, and used it to anoint a blind man's eyes. When Jesus touched the mud, it became anointed, and the anointing destroyed the yoke of blindness in the man's life. I decree that the light of God will shine upon you and break any yoke that might be in your life, in Jesus' name.

    The leper in today's Bible reading knew that Jesus had the anointing to destroy the yoke of leprosy in his life, and as Jesus touched him, the yoke was destroyed. No matter how long a yoke has been in a fellow's life, when God's light shines on the fellow, it will be destroyed permanently.

    Years ago, a woman forced her way through protocol officers to meet me just after I finished preaching at a programme in Kaduna, a town in Northern Nigeria. When I asked her what the problem was, she said that she had never seen anyone preach the way I did. She then said that since she knew I would be leaving soon, she wanted to share her secret with me because she knew it would be safe with me. At that moment, she uncovered a part of her skin, and I saw that she was a leper. I asked her why she didn't go to the hospital, and she stated that she had many children to cater for, and if she visited a hospital, she would be sent to the leper's colony. I then asked her why she didn't ask the pastors in her church to pray for her, and she said that if they prayed for her and she didn't get healed, her secret would be exposed. I prayed for her, and the following year, I was back in the same church. As I arrived and stepped out of the car, a beautiful lady approached me with a big smile. She introduced herself as the leper I prayed for the previous year and said, "Your God touched me, and I'm healed."

    Beloved, when God's light touches you, you will experience transformation and healing in any area of your life where there is darkness, stagnancy, or confusion. Jesus Christ is the Light, and I pray that He will touch everything that concerns you and cause a positive transformation in your life, in Jesus' name.

    PRAYER POINT:
    Father, please let Your light shine on me and remove anything that is not of You in my life, in Jesus' name.

    AUTHOR PASTOR E A ADEBOYE

    BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: JOSHUA 1-4

    HYMNAL: 15 PASS ME NOT, O GENTLE SAVIOUR

    1 Pass me not, O gentle Savior,
    hear my humble cry;
    While on others Thou art calling,
    do not pass me by.

    Savior, Savior, hear my humble cry;
    while on others Thou art calling,
    do not pass me by.

    2 Let me at a throne of mercy
    find a sweet relief,
    kneeling there in deep contrition;
    help my unbelief. [Refrain]

    3 Trusting only in Thy merit,
    Would I seek Thy face;
    heal my wounded, broken spirit,
    save me by Thy grace. [Refrain]

    4 Thou, the Spring of all my comfort,
    more than life to me;
    Whom have I on earth beside Thee?
    Whom in heav'n but Thee? [Refrain]

PRAYER POINT: Father, please let Your light shine on me and remove anything that is not of You in my life, in Jesus' name. AUTHOR PASTOR E A ADEBOYE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: JOSHUA 1-4 HYMNAL: 15 PASS ME NOT, O GENTLE SAVIOUR 1 Pass me not, O gentle Savior, hear my humble cry; While on others Thou art calling, do not pass me by. • Every day in Nigeria, Christians wake up not knowing if they will return home alive. In many parts of the country, especially in rural communities, innocent believers are hunted, attacked, and killed simply because of their faith in Jesus Christ.
    Churches are burned, pastors are murdered, families are wiped out in the middle of the night, and entire villages are displaced. In states like Plateau State, Benue State, Kaduna State, and parts of the North East, Christians live in constant fear. Children are orphaned, women are widowed, and survivors are left with deep trauma and unanswered questions.
    Extremist groups such as Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province have openly targeted Christians, while other violent attacks often go unpunished. Many victims feel abandoned, as justice is rarely served and perpetrators walk free.
    Yet, in the midst of persecution, Nigerian Christians continue to pray, worship, and hold on to their faith. They refuse to deny Christ, even when it costs them their lives. Their blood cries out for justice. Their suffering calls for global attention. Their courage is a testimony to faith under fire.
    Christians are not just statistics. They are fathers, mothers, children, and pastors whose only “crime” is believing in Christ. The world must not remain silent while believers are being killed every day in Nigeria.

    8TH FEBRUARY 2026

    LET'S BRAKE THE SILENCE TODAY!

    THE COMMENT SECTION BELOW.

    LESSON: Esther 4:13-16

    TOPIC:
    A DANGEROUS SILENCE

    TEXT:
    “For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” — Esther 4:14 (NKJV)

    PREFACE:
    A popular statesman once declared:
    “IN AN UNJUST SOCIETY, SILENCE IS A CRIME.”
    That truth pierces our conscience today.
    Silence is not neutrality—it is complicity.

    INTRODUCTION:
    Beloved leaders of the faith, I speak with grief and righteous indignation. For months, ordinary voices have cried out against the decay of our nation, yet those entrusted with pulpits, platforms, and influence have chosen silence. Some of you shepherd cathedrals filled with thousands, some are celebrated influencers, yet when Nigeria bleeds, your voices are absent. Could it be that compromise has chained your tongues? Or have you forgotten that perhaps for such a time as this you were elevated? (Esther 4:14). Remember: “In an unjust society, silence is a crime.”

    EXPOSITION:
    1. THE CONSTITUTION AND ISLAMIC LAW
    The deliberate or dubious inclusion of Islamic law into our constitution is a red flag against our sovereignty. Nigeria was founded as a secular state, yet creeping clauses of Sharia threaten to redefine our national identity. Silence here is betrayal. Scripture warns: “If the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet… his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand” (Ezekiel 33:6). Leaders, your refusal to speak is complicity. And as the statesman said, “In an unjust society, silence is a crime.”

    2. INSCRIPTION ON THE NAIRA
    Our currency bears Islamic inscriptions, a subtle but systemic attempt at Islamization. Nigeria is not an Islamic nation; it is a multi-faith republic. To remain mute while symbols of exclusivity are stamped on our sovereignty is to deny the truth of Galatians 3:28: “There is neither Jew nor Greek… for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Where is your outrage? Silence here is not wisdom—it is crime.

    3. GLOBAL ISLAMIC FINANCE STANDARD
    On 22/02/2026, attempts were made to bundle global Islamic finance standards into our constitution. This is not mere economics—it is ideology dressed as policy.
    To ignore this is to surrender the future of generations unborn. Proverbs 31:8 commands: “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.” Leaders, silence is not an option. “In an unjust society, silence is a crime.”

    4. THE INEC CHAIRMAN AND KWARA MASSACRE
    The INEC chairman was duly appointed by the president, scrutinized, and approved by both legislative chambers. Yet an Islamic group rose against him simply because he is a Christian. At the same time, these voices did not condemn the massacre of over 200 souls in Kwara, Benue, Plateau, Kaduna, Kogi etc by extremist terrorists. Leaders, how can you remain silent when justice is mocked and blood cries from the ground? Isaiah 58:1 thunders: “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression.” Silence here is not neutrality—it is crime.

    CONCLUSION:
    NOT ENOUGH!
    Thank God for voices like Pastor Ezekiel Nwede Dachomo, who exposed the ongoing Christian genocide. But one man’s cry is not enough. Leaders, silence in the face of injustice is not neutrality—it is dangerous complicity. The time to speak is now, lest history record your silence as betrayal. For indeed, “In an unjust society, silence is a crime.”

    HAPPY SUNDAY, HAVE A FULFILLED WEEK

    JESUS IS COMING BACK, BE READY FOR HIM.

    With Love from Pastor M O Glorious,
