Realization of nakedness made them hide from God's presence, away from koinonia and that is what guilt does. Guilt blinds and leaves us deprived because they should've known that hiding from God was pointless. Being self-conscious in God's presence deprives us of true fellowship. God later asked who they were listening to; any voice contrary to God's is the devil. Despite knowing God's voice, the woman heeded the suggestions of a strange voice leading to the fall of man. Let us strive to protect the expression of the knowledge of God in us otherwise we'd be well underway to death. #OneMinuteWithGod

Genesis 3:2-4, 6 KJV [2] And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: [3] but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. [4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: [6] And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. https://bible.com/bible/1/gen.3.2-6.KJV There's a right way to do "normal" things. Eating was good for them but what they ate, had to be regulated. There is the fruit that satisfied their hunger while preserving their spiritual position and there is the fruit that didn't do anything different in terms of hunger, however it killed their spiritual position. Life is in God, outside Him is death. The moment we begin to entertain strange voices we start to deviate from His commands. Voices are seeds, we should be mindful of what gets planted in our hearts because when they grow in us, they alter our form and we become drawn to its kind. She listened to the serpent long enough to see the beauty in the forbidden tree. Other trees fed without loss, this one outwardly fed but internally killed. Hunger is temporary but our spirit is eternal so we should be careful to avoid satisfying the "temporary" at the expense of the "eternal". #OneMinuteWithGod

Similar vessels had similar capacity. In the same way we have been designed in God's image and likeness, whatever Jesus was capable of, so are we in Christ. Jesus said fill up and they did: it is very important for us to be conscious of the identity behind the voice instructing us and also what we are getting filled with. Availability and obedience to God can amount to much. It was at the point of service that the miracle was realized. Many times, we are limited by our resolve to fill up for ourselves only. God has called us to serve but until we engage or obey, we will not realize key potentials of ours. Whatever comes from God is perfect so it's wise to follow and rely on Him. #OneMinuteWithGod

It is not enough to shun evil because that only sets you apart however the injustice persists. More than saying no to sin, believers must embrace intercession to bring God's will on earth. God is always looking for vessels to fill, we should endeavor to make ourselves available for His glory. #OneMinuteWithGod

Even I can't. While we go about our affairs, this is a key question to have in mind. Like the hymn "Fading away like the stars of the morning" says: when the Saviour shall make up His jewels, when the bright crowns of rejoicing are won, then shall His weary and faithful disciples all be remembered by what they have done. Being alive gives us the opportunity to get it right and be able to make the statement that Paul made. It's time to get to work! #OneMinuteWithGod

It is important you study your Bible, practice its teachings and build a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. Without these, we'd fail to grow and that could make us victims of deception and preys to sin. Information is useless until applied and theories would never be above real experiences. You can listen to all the sermons but until you double down on your faith and belief in God, recognizing and "knowing" His truth would be farfetched. [Read 2 Tim. 3:15-17] #OneMinuteWithGod

2 Timothy 3:1-5 NIV [1] But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. It is our responsibility to ensure that we are not caught up in any of these. The Bible says watch and pray so that you don't fall into temptation. We pray because our reliance should be on God for by strength shall no man prevail. However, the onus is on us to watch our steps (desires, cravings, inclinations, engagements, nudgings, conversations). After watching, we need to ask the important question: Am I in alignment with the will of God? Note that the Bible won't ask us to "turn away" if it is beyond our human capability. #OneMinuteWithGod

Spiritual fitness is attained by continuous practice of activities like Bible study, prayers and intentionally following the commands in God's word. As ambassadors of Christ, He should be seen in our speech, conduct, and overall everyday life. #OneMinuteWithGod

2 Timothy 2:1, 4 AMPC [1] SO YOU, my son, be strong (strengthened inwardly) in the grace (spiritual blessing) that is [to be found only] in Christ Jesus. To grow stronger in this grace, we have to conduct ourselves as good soldiers of Christ. John 15:4 AMPC [4] Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. It needs to stay connected to the vine. So also are we when detached from Christ.
