STORY REFERENCE TO THIS OF.. Sheikh Wambuzi Maka Uthman, a 39-year-old former Islamic teacher (sheikh) from Mayuge District in eastern Uganda, who converted to Christianity after experiencing a profound vision of Jesus Christ inside a local mosque in August 2025.

    The Vision in the Mosque
The Date: August 1, 2025, following regular Friday afternoon prayers.
The Event: Uthman stayed behind to rest and fell asleep in a corner of the mosque.

The Encounter: He saw a figure dressed in white, long clothing, surrounded by four angels.
The Message: The figure called out his name, "Uthman, Uthman, Uthman," three times. Overwhelmed with fear, Uthman knelt down and worshipped Him.

The figure instructed him to go to his people and tell them to repent and turn to the living God.

    Understanding the Encounter
Leaving the mosque around 5 p.m., Uthman met a local church pastor and shared the message of repentance.

Through the pastor's guidance, Uthman came to understand that the figure in his vision was Jesus (Isa) calling him and others to faith.

    Aftermath and Persecution
Sharing the Faith: Beginning August 4, Uthman began sharing his experience and message about Christ with his family and neighbors.

Family and Community Backlash: His relatives strongly rejected his conversion, viewing it as a betrayal of Islam. Family members and local relatives beat him severely, demolished his home, and took his wife and six children to live with other relatives.

    Escape and Recovery:
Uthman narrowly escaped through a thick bush to a Christian neighbor's house, who rushed him to a hospital in Mayuge town where he was treated for his injuries before relocating for his safety.

  • Lesley Sumrall :
Smith Wigglesworth knew these pioneers who were British intimately. He knew the pioneers of Pentecostalism. He often ministered with the Jeffreys, Donald Gee, Howard Carter, T.B.
Barratt of Norway, Stanley Frodsham, and most of the others I have mentioned.
Of a truth, he was born in very favorable times, surrounded by unusual men who blessed and inspired one another. And, like many other great men, he came from a humble beginning. Much of this has been told in detail in Frodsham's books and in books by others about Wigglesworth .He was hardly known beyond his hometown of Bradford until he was forty-eight years old when he received the Pentecostal experience at Sunderland under the ministry of Episcopal Vicar Alexander Boddy and his wife. Until this time, Wigglesworth was a plumber and assisted his wife, Polly, in a mission. She did the preaching, and he greeted people at the door, passed out books, and counseled at the altar.
From the time Wigglesworth was six years old, he helped support his family, first by pulling turnips then by working in a factory with his brother and his father. Because he was deprived of an education, he never learned to read until he was an adult. In fact, his wife taught him to read. In later years, he said that he never read anything but the Bible.
Wigglesworth was converted at eight years of age at a Wesleyan Methodist Church. At ten, he changed to the Church of England and was confirmed. He was sixteen when he went to the Salvation Army. At twenty he moved to Liverpool to work. He won hundreds to Christ, particularly the poor children who lived near the docks. He fed them from his salary and preached Jesus to them.
At twenty-three, Wigglesworth returned to Bradford, where he made his home for the remaining days of his life.
There, he opened his own plumbing business and met the young lady who was to become his wife.
Wigglesworth received healing from a ruptured appendix. As a result, he said that God gave him great faith to pray for people suffering with appendicitis. He began his healing ministry before he was baptized in the Spirit. He usually concluded his sermons by praying for the sick.
Polly Wigglesworth died before her husband began to be well-known and to preach extensively in other countries. In his later years, he became one of the best-known evangelists in the Pentecostal movement.
He was accused of being "rough" with people, but he was never accused of being weak in faith.
Of course, I heard about him long before I ever met him.
In Sidney, Australia, a pastor asked me, "Have you ever met Smith Wigglesworth?"
I said, "Not yet. I'm on my way. I'm going to find him somewhere. I have heard of some of the miraculous things that happen in his unique ministry."
The pastor said, "He was here in my city recently, and did we ever have a time! I took him to one of the fanciest restaurants to have lunch on Sunday. When we came into the restaurant, someone took his coat and hung it up for him. He looked around like an eagle. Only wealthy people ate in this restaurant. Instead of sitting down, he took a fork and began to hit the side of his glass with it. Bing! Bing! Bing! Bing!
    Everybody stopped eating.
"Here was Wigglesworth, a handsome-looking man, beating his water glass. Then he raised his hand and said, 'Ladies and gentlemen, I have noticed since arriving here that none of you prayed over your food. You resemble a bunch of hogs to me. You just jump in and eat without giving thanks to the One Who provided it for you. Bow your heads, and I'll pray for you.'"
The pastor told me, "I could have crawled under the table very easily and gotten out of the way so people wouldn't see me. Wigglesworth raised his hands and prayed for those people. Before we left the restaurant however, two families came over and got saved. Then I was ashamed of myself for not being as strong as Wigglesworth."
Wigglesworth's ministry centered on salvation, healing, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He was strong in character and created his own atmosphere wherever he went.

After receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Lord spoke to Wigglesworth to prepare a banquet for the poor, the lame, and the blind. He secured tickets and hired two people to
go throughout the city and find the afflicted, the tormented, and the crippled and bring them to a supper he would provide at the mission.
He often said the sight of those suppers was beyond description, and that this was the happiest time of his life. The mighty healings that took place during those times increased
    Wigglesworth's faith.

During the 1920s, he came to America on severalevangelistic tours. The first time I heard any specific details of his ministry was in San Francisco before starting around the world with Howard Carter.
I was preaching at the Glad Tidings Tabernacle, which seated more than three thousand people.
People said to me, "Have you met Smith Wigglesworth?"
I said, "No, not yet," and they told me he had been there in the same tabernacle where I was preaching. They told me of a cancer patient brought to the healing service.
Wigglesworth went down the line, saying, "What'sup?"
British-ese for "What is wrong with you?"
When he got to this man lying on a bed wearing only a little hospital gown that tied in the back, Wigglesworth asked the doctor with the man, "What's up?"
The doctor explained that his patient was dying of cancer.
Wigglesworth asked, "Where is it?" and the doctor replied, "In his stomach."
The evangelist promptly balled up his fist and hit the man in the stomach so hard the man appeared to die. His hands fell off the bed, and the doctor began to scream, "He's dead! He's dead!"
He looked up at Wigglesworth and said, "You've killed him! The family will sue you!"
Wigglesworth calmly looked at the doctor and said, "E's 'ealed." He talked with a Yorkshire accent, not pronouncing his "h's."
He did not stop but kept on walking down the line praying. About ten minutes later, the man came down the line behind Wigglesworth on the platform. He had stood up, moved the doctor to one side, and was walking around in that funny little hospital gown with his backside hanging out before more than three thousand people!
He did not have one thought for his appearance, however. He had his up hands over his head and was screaming, "I'm healed! I'm healed!"
Even the doctor had developed faith. He was right behind the sick bed yelling, "He's healed! He's healed!"
The man caught up with Wigglesworth and said, "I have no pain. I feel wonderful inside. I have energy I have not had for I don't know how long," but Wigglesworth never even
turned around to look at him.
He just said, "Well, thank God for it," and went on praying for people. It was no big surprise to Wigglesworth. He already knew the man was healed.

That was the first time I had heard a detailed story of Wigglesworth's ministry, although I had heard about him since I was a small boy. After hearing this story, I thought, "Say! Someday I want to meet him."

Then I went to New Zealand and Australia and heard more stories, including the incident in the restaurant, which only increased my desire to meet this man. When I met him I was not disappointed. He was just what I expected him to be from all that I had heard about him from the people of the nations I had visited, where he had conducted meetings.
Some ministers found Wigglesworth too strong in faith, and that frightened them. Also, he was strong in rebuking them for not having any faith. I loved him and his attitude against sin and sickness. In fact, the stories had not been enough to really tell me what the man was like, nor can any book written about him do Smith Wigglesworth justice.

  • Grace, Faith, Justification, Salvation and Gifts from The Holy Spirit are Free.

You must be Born Again or you will “not” see The Kingdom of God. John 3:3

    The Born Again Gospel

You are a created being, made in the image of a Holy God but, no one on Earth can be Holy so, God sent His Only Begotten Son Jesus, to take the punishment for our sins by dying on a cross. He was placed in a tomb and on the third day His God and Father raised Him from the dead and exalted Him to the Throne in Heaven. God has made this Jesus whom they crucified both Lord and Messiah: The Anointed One; Christ. And, He will return to take us to be with Him forever and ever. Amen.

Those I love, I rebuke and discipline. Therefore be earnest and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me. To the one who is victorious, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My Throne, just as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His Throne. Revelation 3:19-21

...if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead "And" confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord you will be saved. For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved. Romans 10:9,10

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1st John 1:9

Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Everyone who names the name of the Lord are to abstain from wickedness." 2nd Timothy 2:19

    Simple prayer:
Almighty God and Father, I believe you raised Jesus from the dead. Please forgive me for all of my sins and come into my heart in the name of Jesus my Lord and Christ. Amen. (Matthew 6:8-15)

Jesus said, You must be Born Again. John 3:3

If you did not have a physical experience when you prayed, you should study the Holy Spirit. The Book of John is a good place to start.

    1st Corinthians 14:1
Pursue Love (Galatians 5:22,23) and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts (1st Corinthians 12-14 & Romans 8:26) especially that you may prophesy. English Standard Version

So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who 'Ask' Him." Luke 11:13 New Living Translation

Ask our God and Father to fill you with The Holy Spirit so you can bear good fruit and do His will in the name of Jesus our Lord and Christ. Amen.

  • Good morning, brethren.
    Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    TUESDAY AUGUST 11, 2O26.
    "WORKING IN THE KINGDOM (2)"

‘To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given...’ Matthew 25:29 NLT

YOUR VALUE in a job is determined by the value you add to the job. When a Christian goes to work each day, God holds them accountable for adding, enhancing and improving things in their workplace. Jesus told the story of three men who were each given money. One was given five bags of it, another two, and another one. The first two ‘…went and traded with them, and gained…’ (Matthew 25:16 NAS). They showed skill, initiative, and made 100 percent profit. So they were commended by their master. But the third man just punched the clock, called in sick, didn’t train, try, dare, or do. So his job review didn’t go too well. And Jesus said something that ought to make us all sit up and take notice: ‘To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.’ That means if your attitude and work ethic are poor, you’re in trouble with God. So, let’s stop and think about your job. If Jesus were your supervisor, would you do your work any differently? How would you answer the phone, type documents, treat your employees, or teach your pupils if Jesus were checking your work? As a citizen of God’s kingdom you need to periodically review your attitude on the job, solicit feedback on how you can grow, demonstrate love and grace to those you work with, make your company profitable, and enjoy the work you do.

    *HEALING THROUGH REPENTANCE* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🏽🏽‍🏽🏽

    ```TEXT:HOSEA 6:1-3```
    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up" (HOSEA 6:1).*_

*In 1949, a remarkable spiritual revival swept through the Scottish Hebrides Islands, known today as the Hebrides Revival. At that time, churches were nearly empty, and the younger generation had grown indifferent to the faith. Two elderly women, Peggy and Christine Smith, deeply burdened by the spiritual decline, began fervent prayer for God to awaken their community to righteousness. Their prayers were anchored in repentance and a return to the Lord. Soon, other believers joined them in prayer. One night, a young man leading the prayer meeting read from Psalm 24:3, 4: "Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart..." He cried out, "Is my heart clean? Are my hands pure?" That honest moment of repentance sparked a spiritual breakthrough, and soon people across the island began confessing their sins, turning back to God, and experiencing profound spiritual healing.*

*In our text, the prophet calls God's people to repentance. The passage begins with a heartfelt plea for repentance and return to the Lord. It reflects Israel's realisation that they had strayed from God and were suffering the consequences of their rebellion. Yet, despite their waywardness, God desired to restore and revive them if they genuinely repented. The promises of being "revived after two days" and "restored on the third day" symbolised God's readiness to bring spiritual renewal to those who returned to Him.*

*Christians today have important lessons to learn. True healing, whether it is healing from guilt, broken relationships, spiritual dryness or backsliding, begins with repentance. It is not just about feeling remorse but about acknowledging your sins, seeking God's forgiveness, and making a decisive turn toward Him.*

*In our modern world, temptations and sin often pull people away from God. But just as the Hebrides Revival demonstrated, God responds powerfully to repentance. When believers humble themselves and call upon God for themselves or others, He is faithful to heal, restore, and pour out His blessings. For those who need healing today, they should return to the Lord, so He can bind up their wounds and revive their spirit.*

*Jesus Christ is God in human flesh. He came into the world to identify with our sufferings and troubles. He came to bear our burdens and carry our sorrows.*

Hundreds of years before Jesus was born, Prophet Isaiah spoke about what He would do. He said He would be a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. This was exactly what Jesus did when He was on earth. He is loving and compassionate.

Our Bible passage shows one aspect of the nature of Christ. Getting to the house of His friends whose brother had died, Jesus, moved with compassion wept openly. It was the highest show of love from God to His creature.

Jesus is teaching us here that weeping is not a sign of weakness. It is a way to identify with those who are hurting. At the end, Jesus raised Lazarus from death.

*Are you sad or lonely? Are you suffering in any way? Remember, Jesus cares for you. He does not want you to suffer. Call upon Him in time of trouble, and you will experience His comforting arms of love.*

    *PATHWAY TO RESTORATION AND REVIVAL*

    *TEXT:* HOSEA 6:1-3.

1Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

*Timeless Truth:*_"Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth"_ (Hosea 6:3).

    *INTRODUCTION*

"Return, "Revival", "Refresh" and "Restoration" are some of the words used in Biblical and Christian circles that show that something good and precious have been lost or missing and appropriate efforts should be made to get those things back. All these show man's deliberate responsibilities in order to keep the blessings of God for a long time . In 1948, a released christian newsletter during the time of revivalist Abraham Branham reads. “All the great outpourings of the past have had their outstanding truths. Luther’s truth was Justification by Faith. Wesley’s was Sanctification. The Baptists taught the premillennial coming of Christ. The Missionary Alliance taught Divine Healing. The Pentecostal outpouring has restored the Baptism of the Holy Ghost to its rightful place. But, the next great outpouring is going to be marked by all these other truths plus such a demonstration of the nine gifts of the Spirit as the world, not even the Apostolic world, has ever witnessed before. This revival will be short and will be the last before the Rapture of the Church.” The consolation and joy is that whatever great and wonderful experiences we have enjoyed in the past can still be restored by God if man does the needful. This is the message of Hosea to Israel and the godly.

*1. Call to Return to God*

    a. Adam, representing the man of all ages, started with God, but departed from God and many woes followed. In order to vacate the woes, the message of God is simple, return to God. All the woes, challenges, calamities, anguish, backslidings and challenges of man have only one divine prescription: Return to God. Returning to God requires turning or change. Man is generally, reluctant to change. This is one of Newton's Laws of Motion. Willingness to turn is generally, where the problem of man lies. The turning to God requires acceptance of wrongs towards God, decisions with appropriate steps and asking God for forgiveness without self justification. It involves deliberate action of repentance. Repentance from what cause the loss of good old blessings, including repentance from sin, unforgiving spirit, bitterness against neighbours and perhaps God, love of the world, selective obedience to the command of God in any area etc., are just what God is looking for before He pours down His blessings afresh. God did not see that turning or repentance in Adam and Eve. Both of them were busy giving excuses and blaming each other. Neither fully admitted his/her obvious wrong and neither fully repented and returned to God. The repercussion was that they never got the blessing they lost back. They were driven from the beautiful, blessed and blissful garden. If they had returned to God with words of soberness and repentance, the story would have been different for them and the whole humanity. All lost blessings from God are only returned after turning and repentance from the root cause.
    b. The message of God is the same. *"Come, and let us return unto the LORD"*. Stop the blame game. Stop the murmuring and complain. The promise of God for the repentant is valid at all times and in all generations. *"For he hath torn, and he will heal us"*. When your garment of glory is torn, when your shining regalia of blessings is torn, when the source of your joy is torn, the immediate and uncompromisable demand of God and solution is to turn to God. *"He hath smitten, and he will bind us up"*. This is a word of assurance for those who take the courage to turn from their evil ways, carelessness and compromise.

    *Question*

Assess your life where you have departed from God and your old consecration to God and His word. Are you willing to turn? Start today.

    *2. Comforting Revival Through Grace*

    a. Has Israel not gone too far to an irredeemable damnable and bitter experience? God, through Hosea says NO. When there is possibility and willingness to turn, the promise to restore and revive is always unbreakable. Jesus said, *"the scripture cannot be broken."* Hosea used the picture of Calvary and the resurrection of Jesus on the third day to show the reality and restoration of revival for dead bones. *"After two days will he revive us"*. After two days is the third day including all other days after the third day. It shows the beginning of revival on the third day and the continuity of revival after the third day. *"In the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight"*. The resurrection of Jesus Christ has assurably made possible the restoration of any dead soul and experiences even when it appears they are already stinking spiritually in the grave.
    b. The parable of dead bones in Ezekiel 37 shows that revival and restoration is possible when the Word of God is given a prominent and final say in the life of an individual, family, church or nation. All the revivals the Church has experienced in different ages at a time of total darkness were as a result of giving the Word of God the first and unquestionably place. The same applies to any individual that needs revival. Taking the Word of God at face values drives to repentance including burdened and persistent prayers. Once this is done, the rain will definitely fall and there will be repentance and restoration.

    *Question*

Are you desirous of revival and restoration of past glories in your life? From the explanation above, what is your decision?

    *3. Continuous Refreshment unto Glory*

    a. Why blessings are lost and revival is gone is because of lack of continuity in the Old faith and consecration that brought the revival in the first place. Jesus said, *"If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples in deed"*. Disciples in deeds are different from disciples in the mouth to profession. Continuity is the key. *"Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD"*. Continuous following leads to deeper knowledge and deeper knowledge is manifested by continuous following. *"His going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth"*. The former rain is to prepare the ground for planting while the latter rain is to prepare the crop for harvesting. It is the harvesting that is generally seen, but not the planting time of rigour and sacrifice. He that sows, though not seen by many should sow in hope because harvesting is certain. Rain of the Holy Spirit is needed to sow the seed of repentance, intercession and consecration while rain of the Holy Spirit is also needed to enjoy the harvest of refreshment, restoration and revival. Continuity in sowing the seed of the Word of God and wetting it with tears of prayers and acts of consecration will bring the abundant rain and there will be overflowing joy, revival and restoration again.

    *Question*

Are you determined to continue getting deeper into the Word, prayer and consecration without giving up until the rain falls and there are blessings and visitations from heaven again?

    *Prayer Points*

1.Lord, open my eyes to areas that I need to turn to you afresh and make me willing to pay the price of turning .
2.Give me the rain of the Spirit that will help me to sow with tears and deeper consecration until the abundant rain falls on my soul, nation and church .
3.I ask for power and determination to continue seeking your face without giving up and backing out .
4.Father, send the rain and awaken your Church to true restoration and revival .

    *HYMN:* Come Holy Spirit.

*BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* JOB 9-12.

    2. Morning Prayer fir today.

    MP.i. Morning Prayer

For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin. ⏤ Hebrews 4:15

He is never nearer than when we are tempted. ⏤ E.M. Bounds

O Jesus, we thank You for living this human life with us, knowing all about our experiences. You became a man. You were tempted in every way, just as we are, and understand what temptation is like. It comforts us to know that You understand our struggles and that we can rely on Your sympathy. Help us today, O Jesus, to overcome every temptation. Stand by us and do not let us fall into darkness in any moment of trial.

We are also grateful that You know all about sorrow. You have experienced every depth of human pain. There is no sorrow unknown to You, no grief that You cannot understand. Life brings us sorrows, sometimes very deep ones. No human friend can fully understand them. Our loved ones want to help us but cannot take away our pain or give us true comfort. Earth has no sufficient consolation for us.

So we turn to You, O Jesus, and ask for Your help in our sorrows. We want to bear them sweetly, without complaining. We want to receive the blessing that comes with every pain or suffering, a blessing that is often missed. Teach us how to suffer according to Your will. Give us true comfort that enables us to endure whatever pain or trial we must face. Help us to grow stronger and kinder in every affliction. May Your sympathy bless us, lifting us into deeper fellowship with You. We ask all this in Your precious name, Jesus our Savior. Amen.

Good morning, brethren. Morning devotion for today. MD.i. 😀🌺🌹🎁🎀💝 MORNING TEA THE WORD FOR TODAY TUESDAY AUGUST 11, 2O26. "WORKING IN THE KINGDOM (2)" ‘To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given...’ Matthew 25:29 NLT YOUR VALUE in a job is determined by the value you add to the job. Are my hands pure?" That honest moment of repentance sparked a spiritual breakthrough, and soon people across the island began confessing their sins, turning back to God, and experiencing profound spiritual healing.* *In our text, the prophet calls God's people to repentance. The passage begins with a heartfelt plea for repentance and return to the Lord. It reflects Israel's realisation that they had strayed from God and were suffering the consequences of their rebellion. Yet, despite their waywardness, God desired to restore and revive them if they genuinely repented. The promises of being "revived after two days" and "restored on the third day" symbolised God's readiness to bring spiritual renewal to those who returned to Him.* *Christians today have important lessons to learn. True healing, whether it is healing from guilt, broken relationships, spiritual dryness or backsliding, begins with repentance. It is not just about feeling remorse but about acknowledging your sins, seeking God's forgiveness, and making a decisive turn toward Him.* *In our modern world, temptations and sin often pull people away from God. But just as the Hebrides Revival demonstrated, God responds powerfully to repentance. When believers humble themselves and call upon God for themselves or others, He is faithful to heal, restore, and pour out His blessings. For those who need healing today, they should return to the Lord, so He can bind up their wounds and revive their spirit.* ✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` _*Repentance opens the door to restoration.*_ 📜📜```THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:``` *JOB 9-12*📜📜 [10/08, 9:23 pm] Pastor Attah: ```DEEPER CHRISTIAN LIFE MINISTRY``` _*HIGHER EVERYD🅰️Y: (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FOR YOUTHS)*_ ✍🏽👩🏻‍💼🌻 🍇🙏🏽🛰🚀🔬📚 ```TUESDAY 11TH AUGUST, 2026``` *HUMILIATION OF THE HAUGHTY* 🎚️📓📖🫵🏽🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️🤨⚠️‼️🛑❌👎🏽⚖️🧎🏽🧎🏽‍♀️🙏🏽 📜📜```TEXT:ISAIAH 3:14-26```📜📜 📖``` MEMORY VERSE:``` _*"Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts" (ISAIAH 3:17).*_ *A haughty person is one who is proud of himself or herself. MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    MONDAY AUGUST 10, 2O26.
    "WORKING IN THE KINGDOM (1)"

‘…whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant. Mark10:43 NIV

DISNEYLAND IS referred to as ‘the Magic Kingdom.’ For those who work there, one value is emphasised above all others. It’s what puts the ‘magic’ into that kingdom. What is it? Servanthood! Employees are told that when you walk through those gates, you serve. You treat every encounter with people as if they were your personal guest. If they need directions, you escort them. If they ask a question you’ve heard a hundred times, you answer it as if you’d never heard it before. There’s a ride called the Jungle Cruise, and the most common question asked about it is, ‘How long is this ride?’ So the staff is given a prepared, standard answer: ‘The Jungle Cruise is an exciting adventure ride that lasts ten minutes.’ But one employee had been asked it once too often, so when a couple asked, ‘How long is the Jungle Cruise?’ he said, ‘Three days.’ The couple got out of the line, left the park, went back to Disney Hotel where they were on their honeymoon, packed up their suitcases, checked out, and came back to the line at the Jungle Cruise. The next day the Disneyland employee was gone, and someone else was standing at the line saying, ‘The Jungle Cruise is an exciting adventure ride that lasts ten minutes.’ When you represent God’s kingdom you’re supposed to go out of your way to facilitate people, love them and meet their needs. Why? Because Jesus, Who is the king in this kingdom, said, ‘…the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…’ (Matthew 20:28 NIV).

*Jack Wugman was walking down the beach one day. He saw an unusual glass bottle. He bent over and picked up the bottle. His life would be forever changed. There was a note inside, from a man named Singer, who invented and perfected the sewing machine. Singer penned a note, WHOEVER FINDS THIS BOTTLE SHALL INHERIT MY WHOLE ESTATE. The judge validated the note, and Jack inherited millions of dollars from a man he had never met. What if Jack never picked up the bottle? It definitely was a pivotal moment in Wugman's life.*

*Not everyone reading this today has a bottle floating out there with a million-dollar inheritance, no. But there are pivotal moments God has set for each of our lives. A life-changing moment that is not orchestrated by man, nor induced by any goodness or nobility any of us may have in our history. Cornelius was said to be a devout man who gave alms to support people. He was not an Israelite, but a Roman soldier, a gentile, outside of the commonwealth of Israel. Being a centurion means he was a leader over 100 men. An angel was sent to him by God to acknowledge his devoutness and alms giving. Knowing that that wasn't enough, he was directed to invite Apostle Peter to expound to him the gospel requirements for salvation more perfectly.*

*The text highlights the significance of understanding Cornelius's character as the key to his esteemed relationship with God, which transcended his position as a centurion. Despite his military rank and prestige, Cornelius's true legacy lay in his love for the Lord and his generosity. His devout lifestyle inspired others, yet it was emphasised that neither good deeds nor religious piety can secure salvation; faith in the Gospel is essential. The angel's visit to Cornelius was not intended to preach the Gospel, as it is divinely decreed that those who have experienced salvation share the Gospel message, underscoring that salvation is a matter of grace through faith, not works.*

*The main lesson here is the need to impact the world with our resources. We are remembered for what we do for others. God has left a far more valuable treasure for us than whatever was promised by Mr. Singer in our introduction. God wants to use us to tell other people about this treasure. We need to urgently preach Christ to our neighbours. He is the only way to eternal life.*

    MONDAY, 10TH AUGUST, 2026.

    *THE UNSTOPPABLE GOSPEL*

    *TEXT:* ACTS 10:1-8.

1There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.
5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:
6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.
    7 And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually;
8 And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa

*Timeless Truth:*_"But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God"_ (Acts 5:39).

    *INTRODUCTION*

There is no way of worshipping God that has faced so much oppositions from both powers and peoples as the gospel of Jesus Christ. If human powers and wisdom could destroy Christianity and the Bible, they would have been destroyed not long after it was birthed at pentecost. The Jewish leaders did all they could to stop the Gospel, but it was birthed by pentecostal power and became dominant among the Jews. The external powers could not stop the spread. Apostle Peter, by the Holy Spirit, opened the door for the evangelization of the Jews at Pentecost in fulfilment of Matthew 16:19 despite the stiff oppositions by the Jews. *"And I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom..."* Though Jesus Christ commanded that the Gospel should be preached *"to the uppermost part of the world"*, the mindset of the Apostles was to preach the gospel to the Jews exclusively in *"the uppermost part of the world"*. Jesus had to break this mindset by using Apostle Peter to bring the gospel of salvation to the non-Jews or Gentiles, thus, breaking the internal barrier to the salvation of the Gentiles. This monumental breakthrough in the preaching of the Gospel is the subject of the text.
When God determines to save a soul, no barrier of race, culture, distance, status or tradition can ultimately stop Him. The Gospel advances because God Himself is committed to its fulfilment.

*1. Ardent and Faithful to God*

    a. Cornelius was not the first Gentile convert of the Gospel. Phillip, seven years before then, had preached the gospel that led to the conversion of the Eunuch of Ethiopia (Acts 8). That was made possible through the ministry of an angel. Were it left to Phillip to decide and preach to the Gentile Eunuch, he might have refused. Cornelius and his family were the first Gentile family or household to receive the Gospel and and got converted. Under the Law, we could claim that he was saved and righteous, though a Gentile. *“A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house.”* His deep devotion was backed up by works. *"Who gave much alms to the people and prayed always"*. Under salvation by works, he was a candidate for heaven. However, under the gospel of salvation by grace, he was not qualified for heaven. He needed to know Jesus Christ, the only way to God, and believe the Gospel. *"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). If Cornelius had rejected the gospel, but relied only on his righteousness, he would have been damned. *"He that believeth not shall be dammed"*.
    b. The case of Cornelius reinforces the fact that good works and personal righteousness are not enough for salvation. In fact, faithful devotion to God in prayers, fasting and good works are too impotent to bring real salvation to the heart of man. There must be faith in the atoning work of Christ on the Cross and acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Outside Christ, *"all our righteousness is as filthy rags"* (Isaiah 64:6).

    *Question*

Do you rely on your good works and self righteousness for salvation?

*2. Angelic Facilitators of the Gospel*

    a. When Phillip, the evangelist, first got a gentile converted, it took the ministry of an angel. The same to Apostle Peter and the conversion of the Cornelius and his family. The conversion of Cornelius was more celebrated and noticed by the Early Church because, unlike the Eunuch of Ethiopia, Cornelius was not only saved, his whole family was included and they also received the baptism with the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in unlearned and unknown language. None of these two ministers would have reached out to those Gentiles without the ministry of the angels because of their biases against Gentiles when it came to salvation of souls. Cornelius *"saw in a vision evidently...an angel of God coming"*. The angel called him by name and assured him that his prayers and charitable deeds had come before God as a memorial. Sinners who are sincere with God will always be given the opportunity to know the truth unto salvation. This throws a challenge to Christians to be sensitive to God as to who and when to reach out to a soul. This divine visitation demonstrates that heaven was actively working to bring Cornelius into contact with the Gospel. God was more eager to get him saved than anybody else including Apostle Peter. He is *"not willing that any should perish"*.
    b. God can employ extraordinary means to advance His saving purpose. Angels may facilitate God's work, but they do not replace the preaching of the Gospel. The angel did not preach Christ to Cornelius; instead, he directed Cornelius to send for Apostle Peter. God uses heavenly and earthly instruments together to accomplish His redemptive purposes. The divine-human partnertship are needed to effect the work of God and in particular the preaching of the gospel. Believers therefore, must be prayerful and sensitive to divine guidance in order to be fruitful. The less we rely on the arms of the flesh and the more we put our full confidence and trust in the guidance of the power of the Holy Spirit, the more fruitful we will be in the work of soulwinning.

    *Question*

Am I available for God to use me as an instrument through whom someone else may hear and receive the Gospel? Do I wait on God to receive divine guidance in soulwinning?

    *3. Assignment Towards Gospel Fullness*

Cornelius' salvation is rooted in his obedience to the voice of God and not the voice of any other. He was not only saved, but was baptized with the Holy Spirit. It must be observed that apart from the fact that Phillip did not publish the conversion of the Eunuch, he did not minister the baptism with the Holy Ghost to him. Cornelius and his household were baptized with the Holy Spirit while Apostle Peter was still preaching. There was an uproar and noise that the Gentiles could get the same experience of power of the Holy Spirit. The world cannot receive the Holy Spirit and the devils hate the power of the Holy Spirit too for obvious reasons. Salvation in Christ Jesus is a complete salvation. However, salvation without the power of the Holy Spirit is insufficient for a believer to do great exploits for God and be a terror to the kingdom of darkness. The Holy Spirit is given to them that obey Him. *"And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him"* (Acts 5:32). Cornelius did not delay, debate or disregard the divine instruction. His obedience became an important link in God's plan to bring the fullness of the Gospel to his household.
This reminds us that divine instructions demand human cooperation. God may open doors, prepare hearts and arrange circumstances, but believers must respond obediently.

    *Question*

What Gospel assignment has God placed before me and am I faithfully obeying Him without delay like Cornelius and Apostle Peter did?

    *Prayer Points*

1.Lord, teach me more never to rely on my personal goodness and righteousness for divine favour and salvation .
2.Father, make me a willing instrument through whom You can facilitate the spread of the Gospel to others. Help me to be sensitive to divine guidance .
3.Lord, I ask for more power of the Holy Spirit for more fruitfulness in the preaching of the gospel .
4.Father, give understanding to the church goers (you can mention names) who are not yet saved because they are trusting their self righteousness and good works and help them to get real and genuine salvation in Christ.

    MP.i. Morning Prayer

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. ⏤ 1 John 3:1

We are all missionaries. Wherever we go we either bring people nearer to Christ or we repel them from Christ. ⏤ Eric Liddell

O God, we are grateful that we are Your children. We are not just Your creations. You made the stars, the birds, and the flowers, but unlike them, You made us in Your own image and gave us immortal souls. We thank You for the special place we hold in creation. Help us to live up to the dignity of being Your children and to live as Your children should.

You created us with a purpose. You have a plan for each of our lives—something You intend for us to be and to do. We want to fulfill Your purpose for us. Help us to accept Your will and to do what You would have us do. As we go out into the world this morning, guide us in the path You have set for us. We want to serve our generation. Show us what You would have us do and enable us to do it.

Fill our hearts with Your love so that we may see the world as You see it. May we look upon others with Your compassion, patience, and a desire to help. Though our efforts may seem small in this vast world, help us to trust that no true work done for You is ever in vain. Help us to make our little corner of the world holier, brighter, sweeter, and happier. Help us to live out Your life in the place You have assigned us, serving those around us. In this way, we shall be a blessing to our small part of the world.

Give us a day filled with Your love and grace, our Father. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. 5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: 6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do. 7 And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually; 8 And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa *Timeless Truth:*_"But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God"_ (Acts 5:39). *INTRODUCTION* There is no way of worshipping God that has faced so much oppositions from both powers and peoples as the gospel of Jesus Christ. *1. Ardent and Faithful to God* a. *Question* Do you rely on your good works and self righteousness for salvation? *2. Angelic Facilitators of the Gospel* a. *Question* Am I available for God to use me as an instrument through whom someone else may hear and receive the Gospel? Do I wait on God to receive divine guidance in soulwinning? *3. Assignment Towards Gospel Fullness* Cornelius' salvation is rooted in his obedience to the voice of God and not the voice of any other. *Question* What Gospel assignment has God placed before me and am I faithfully obeying Him without delay like Cornelius and Apostle Peter did? *Prayer Points* 1.Lord, teach me more never to rely on my personal goodness and righteousness for divine favour and salvation 🙏. 2.Father, make me a willing instrument through whom You can facilitate the spread of the Gospel to others. Help me to be sensitive to divine guidance 🙏. 3.Lord, I ask for more power of the Holy Spirit for more fruitfulness in the preaching of the gospel 🙏. 4.Father, give understanding to the church goers (you can mention names) who are not yet saved because they are trusting their self righteousness and good works and help them to get real and genuine salvation in Christ🙏. *HYMN:* GO AND TELL THE STORY *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* JOB 5-8. 2. Morning Prayer Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. ⏤ 1 John 3:1 We are all missionaries. Wherever we go we either bring people nearer to Christ or we repel them from Christ. ⏤ Eric Liddell O God, we are grateful that we are Your children. • Yesterday, something happened that shook me deeply.

A Pastor sent me a direct message. He said, "Sir, I was led to talk to you urgently."

I smiled when I saw him call me Sir. This is a man old enough to be my father, probably in his late 40s or early 50s. A mature man. A respected man.

    Then I opened his message.

He said, "Sir, I nearly slept with a church member yesterday. I would have destroyed my testimonies. My ministry would have finished just like that. I was led by God to confess to you, seek your counsel, and know the way forward from this foolish act of mine."

I was silent for a moment.

This is not just any pastor. He is a Senior Pastor in one of the biggest and most popular Pentecostal churches in Nigeria. He is gifted. He is respected. Thousands listen to him every week. If I mention his name, many people will know him immediately.

Then he began to explain what happened.

A young lady from his church came to visit him at home. His wife had gone to work. The children were still in school.

According to him, the lady practically threw herself at him. She knew the right words to say. She knew the right moment to come. She understood his weakness.

He confessed that he had already started undressing the lady.

Then suddenly... The school bus arrived. His children came home.

That sound from outside interrupted everything.

At that very moment, reality returned. The lady quickly left.

As I read his message, one thing kept ringing in my heart.

That school bus did not just bring his children home. God used that school bus to bring him back to his senses.

Sometimes, God's mercy does not always look like fire from heaven. Sometimes, it looks like an unexpected phone call.

Sometimes, it looks like someone knocking on your door. Sometimes, it looks like traffic.

Sometimes, it looks like a child coming home earlier than expected. Sometimes, God's mercy interrupts our foolishness before it destroys our future.

As we continued talking, I discovered something very important.

This did not start yesterday. The problem started long before yesterday.

He had gradually become careless around the ladies in his church.

There were no healthy boundaries anymore. The jokes became too personal. The conversations became too private. The familiarity became too comfortable. The attention became too excessive.

What should have remained pastoral slowly became emotional.

And once boundaries disappear, temptation no longer needs permission to enter.

The young lady only came because she had already seen an open door.

People rarely become bold overnight. Many times, they become bold because someone unknowingly gave them the confidence.

This is why I want to speak, not only to pastors, but to every man and every woman reading this.

    Please, protect your boundaries.

Do not play with what has the power to destroy your destiny.

Not every conversation should continue. Not every friendship should become intimate. Not every compliment should be entertained.

Not every private meeting is necessary. Not every message deserves a reply.

Stop feeding what you are praying against.

To the men... Whether you are a pastor, a leader, a husband, a brother, or a single man, never say, "It can never happen to me."

The strongest people have fallen because they stopped watching.

Your anointing does not remove temptation. Your title does not remove temptation. Your years in ministry do not remove temptation. Your prayer life does not remove temptation.

What keeps you standing is humility, wisdom, accountability, and healthy boundaries.

Do not stay where your flesh is stronger than your spirit. Run before you need to fight.

To the women... Please understand that not every open door should be entered.

Never become the reason another person loses their home, their marriage, their ministry, or their relationship with God.

Do not admire someone's grace and then become the weapon that destroys it.

If someone is married, respect that covenant. If someone is your pastor, let your honor remain honor. Do not mistake emotional attachment for love.

Some victories are won simply by walking away.

And to every believer reading this... The devil is not always looking for loud sinners.

Sometimes, he looks for tired people. Lonely people. Careless people. People who stopped praying. People who stopped setting boundaries. People who think they are too spiritual to fall.

    That is where he strikes.

I thanked God that this man did not go through with it.

Yes, he came close. Very close. But the fact that he confessed instead of covering it gives me hope that God is still working on his heart.

True repentance is not just saying, "I am sorry." True repentance is changing the lifestyle that almost led you there.

Confession without correction is only postponing another fall.

If you keep returning to the same environment, the same private conversations, the same hidden meetings, and the same carelessness, one day mercy may not interrupt you the way it did yesterday.

Never build your life on the confidence that "God will forgive me."

Build your life on the wisdom that says, "I don't want to grieve the God who has been so merciful to me."

Because one moment of pleasure can destroy what took decades of prayer, sacrifice, and faithfulness to build.

The devil does not need many years to destroy a testimony. Sometimes, all he needs is one careless moment.

I am Anthony Chukwuebuka - THE BOO OF THE BOOLESS; Please learn to protect your heart. Protect your eyes. Protect your boundaries. Protect your name. Protect your testimony. Because what you refuse to guard today may become the very thing you cry over tomorrow.

  • APOSTOLIC PASTOR CONFESSES
DIFFICULT FOR ME TO WRITE THIS
    APRIL 27, 2006

    Dear Reader,

This letter is very difficult for me to write. I really don’t know where or how to start. So I prayed to the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY that He leads me with the correct words and proper attitude and the right direction with which to have this letter flow. I pray that the Holy Spirit leads me and guides me in this letter so HIS NAME may be glorified.

Let me give you a small resume of my life. I was born Catholic and educated in their grade schools, high school and two years of Catholic college. I lived thirty six years of Catholicism before I had a relationship with GOD. I was baptized in Jesus name June of 1983 in the San Jacinto River under Highway 59 north of Houston, Texas, by Brother Tommy Hodges. I received the HOLY SPIRIT January, 1984, at Deer Park Pentecostal Church (Pastor Possey) under the evangelistic preaching of Brother Hightower.

In 1989, with the blessing of Pastor Kilgore of Life Tabernacle my wife and I left for Philadelphia, PA. GOD had us start the Jesus Name Ministries church which we have been pastoring for the past sixteen years. I never comprised on the name of Jesus.

One day this past summer (2004) my wife, Linda and I were camping. Linda went to bed and I was scanning the radio stations about mid-night on Sunday. I stopped at a station where a preacher in Georgia was preaching. In his preaching he stated that he was Apostolic and preached Acts 2:38 in a way I never heard before. Repent and be baptized every one of you in the NAME of YAHWAH Messiah for the remission of sins. This caught my attention and my anger and my curiosity. I jotted down his phone number and put it in my wallet, planning to call and investigate this strange NAME of YAHWAH.

I investigated the Philadelphia library, to my surprise; I found many scholarly Bible writers wrote on the oldest and most used NAME OF GOD. I didn’t know where this investigation was going to take me. All I know is that I love truth.

I spoke several times on the phone with this strang Yahwah preacher and his wife that were from Georgia, Jerry & Kathy Kirk. They sent me some Biblical historical materials to read and pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

In our adventure for truth with these materials and the immense information from the library, I was taught some surprising facts that the Catholic Church and the Apostolic church never taught me.

    THE FOLLOWING TRUE FACTS
    ARE WHAT I FOUND

    1. YHWH (pronounced YAHWAH by all Jewish rabbis) is GOD and GOD alone.

    2. YHWH is found 6,832 times in the TANACH.

    3. Paul the Apostle always referred to the TANACH to show that YHWH was the Messiah.

    4. The TANACH is nothing more than our equivalent to the Old Testament.

    5. That the NAME of GOD, YHWH (YAHWAH) was first used in Genesis 2:4 and last used in the Old Testament Malachi 3:23.

    6. The Hebrew Apostles scriptures were stolen by a church (circa 126-136 A. D.) and translated into Greek and the original Hebrew New Testament scriptures were destroyed.

    7. Jesus is only a new name of 393 years. In the King James 1611 A.D. the NAME OF THE SAVIOR in the Christian world was Iesous. The letter ‘J’, according to Webster did not exist until after the mid-1650.

    8. A scholarly Biblical fact is that YHWH (YAHWAH) was taken out of our New English editions and hidden by only using the word LORD.

    9. Genesis 4:26 at the time of Seth men began calling on THE NAME of YHWH (YAHWAH).

    10. Genesis 12:8; 13:4, 21:33 Abram at Bethel called upon THE NAME of YHWH (YAHWAH).

    11. YHWH (pronounced YAHWAH by all Jewish rabbis) is GOD and GOD alone.

    12. Genesis 26:25 Isaac called on THE NAME of YHWH (YAHWAH).

    13. YHWH is HIS NAME and only name. Elohim (Lord of Lords) is HIS title. EL (God) is HIS title. Emmanuel GOD with us is a sentence.

    14. Exodus 6:3 GOD tells Moses HIS NAME is YHWH (YAHWAH).

    15. Deuteronomy 6:4 YHWH our GOD is ONE.

    16. Isaiah 63:16 YHWH our Father, Redeemer and HIS NAME is from everlasting.

    17. Revelation14:1 The Lamb writes THE NAME OF FATHER on their foreheads. To me, this would be water baptism in the NAME OF YHWH).

    18. Malachi 2:10 One Father, One God created us.

    19. Zechariah 14: 9 YHWH (YAHWAH) is KING, YHWH is ONE and HIS NAME ONE.

    20. Matthew 28:19 Baptize in THE NAME of the FATHER, SON and HOLY GHOST.

    21. FATHER IS YHWH (Isaiah 63:16)

    22. The SON IS YHWH Messiah. (John 5:43

    23. I come in THE NAME OF MY FATHER)

    24. The HOLY GHOST IS YHWH (John 14:26 Comforter,

    25. The Father will send in MY NAME YHWH Messiah)

    26. Acts 2:38 Repent and be baptized in THE NAME of YHWH Messiah for the remission of your sins.

Where did the Iesous or Jesus come from? It comes from Zeus - the Greek god. In Spanish Jesus is pronounced hey-Zeus. The name Jesus can’t be reconciled to be a Hebrew name.

    1. ONE GOD YHWH (YAHWAH) Deuteronomy 6:4

    2. ONE NAME YHWH (YAHWAH) Zechariah 14:9

    3. ONE SAVIOR YHWH (YAHWAH) Isaiah 43:3,11

    4. ONE REDEEMER YHWH (YAHWAH) Isaiah 44:6

    5. ONE MAKER YHWH (YAHWAH) Isaiah 54:5

    6. ONLY ONE can bear THE NAME of YHWH (YAHWAH) and it was HIS SON YAHWAH Messiah.

By the way approximately 393 years ago there was no J in the English alphabet. His name was lesous, Which is Greek, NonHebrew, MisTranslated, ManMade Inspired.

Too many people bear the names of Jesus, Joshua, Yahoshua (common names). These names could not have been THE NAME OF THE SAVIOR; HE came in THE NAME OF HIS FATHER. Jehovah and Jesus are the perverted names of GOD and not HIS TRUE NAME. YHWH only could be HIS NAME.

Thank GOD that Jesus Name Apostolic’ have the right principle of ONE GOD, one baptism and one name. But now let us receive HIS TRUE NAME YHWH (YAHWAH).

We come to GOD in a process of levels of truth, paganism to Catholism to Protestant to Trinity Holy Ghost filled to Jesus Name Apostolic to YAHWAH Apostolic.

GOD is taking a church out of a church and re-establishing HIS RIGHTFUL NAME to HIS people. Please be part of it. Out of 100 of our assembly we had 20 to receive HIM in water baptism and 80 to refuse the revelation of HIS TRUE NAME.

I lost all teachers and all musicians. But that is all right because HIS NAME is still YHWH (YAHWAH) and I am called by HIS NAME. I want to please GOD and I do not want to please man or an organization. Straight is the gate and narrow is the way and few will choose HIS NAME.

In critic of the book “In the Name of Jesus” Dr. David K. Bernard gives a very poor presentation in defense of the name Jesus. Let us go to chapter four, Dr. Bernard has no clue that there are YAHWAH Apostolics, the ONLY TRUE ONE GOD, ONE PEOPLE OF THE NAME OF YAHWAH.

Biblical scholars all recognize as truth that the TANACH (Old Testament) has THE NAME YHWH 6,832. Also agreed upon is that Jehovah is an erroneous translation of YAHWAH mixed with Adonai. If you keep this in mind then we know the GOD of the Old Testament is YHWH and because HE changes not (Malachi 3:6) we know HE is the GOD of the New Testament.

Let us talk about the name Yahoshua. Yahoshua is Hebrew and English translation is Joshua. So the Messiah, according to this knowledge should have been named in English as Joshua Christ. According to the thesis of Doctor Bernard he states on page 36 that Yahwah of the Old Testament manifested HIMSELF in the flesh to be our SAVIOR. THE SAVIOR stated in John 5:43 “I come in THE NAME OF MY FATHER.

How can GOD change HIS NAME? He cannot. The legal name of my wife is Linda, it means pretty but her name is not pretty, it is Linda. Psalm 54:1 Save me, 0 GOD, by YOUR NAME. THE NAME OF GOD is YAHWAH; we are saved by HIS NAME.

What do we not understand with this statement? Again Matthew 1:23 Emmanuel (with us is GOD) what do we not understand with this statement? I am in agreement with Doctor Bernard that YAHWAH was manifested in the flesh and that baby was called YAHWAH the Messiah, the same NAME AS HIS FATHER. Isaiah 63:16 YOU, 0 YAHWAH, are our FATHER, our redeemer, THY NAME is from everlasting. It does not say anywhere that the false name of Jesus is everlasting, only YAHWAH. The second argument of Dr. Bernard makes no sense whatsoever because in his argument he believes the Hebrew Apostles called the Messiah by the name Iesous - Jesus - Joshua. The Messiah was known as YAHWAH.
The Word Hallelujah is universal. YAHWAH is literally the same in every tongue (universal). George W. Bush is introduced as George W. Bush throughout every language and country. His legal name does not change to the language of the people. His name is the same (transliterated) in every language. THE NAME OF YAHWAH is pronounced literally and universally.

On page 37 Dr. Bernard states unequivocally the early church baptized in Jesus Name but later says that the name Jesus evolved from lesous in the Latin/Greek Hebrew. Did the Apostles say Joshua, Yahoshua, Iesous or Jesus? My GOD does not change names like we do clothes. Just what is HIS NAME for salvation? Is it Jesus, Iesous, Yahoshua, Joshua? Could it be so simple that it is YAHWAH the Messiah? Isaiah 47:4 as for our REDEEMER, YAHWAH of Armies is HIS NAME, the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 42:5-16 YAHWAH opened the eyes of the blind. Verse 13 YAHWAH shall go forth as a mighty Man (The Messiah). Isaiah 43:10.12 YAHWAH declares HIMSELF to be the servant (the Messiah) I, even I, am YAHWAH and beside me there is no SAVIOR.

YAHWAH is calling, “Come out of her“. Yes, GOD was merciful to save us in our ignorance even if we did not know HIS NAME. Leave that heathen man made philosophical name of Iesous, Jesus. Psalm 86:9 all nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee 0 YAHWAH and shall GLORIFY THY NAME. Psalm 145:21 My mouth shall speak the praise of YAHWAH and let all flesh bless HIS HOLY NAME forever and forever.

💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜 APOSTOLIC PASTOR CONFESSES DIFFICULT FOR ME TO WRITE THIS APRIL 27, 2006 💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜 Dear Reader, This letter is very difficult for me to write. 💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜 THE FOLLOWING TRUE FACTS ARE WHAT I FOUND 💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜 1. 21. FATHER IS YHWH (Isaiah 63:16) 22. The SON IS YHWH Messiah. (John 5:43 23. I come in THE NAME OF MY FATHER) 24. The HOLY GHOST IS YHWH (John 14:26 Comforter, 25. The Father will send in MY NAME YHWH Messiah) 26. Acts 2:38 Repent and be baptized in THE NAME of YHWH Messiah for the remission of your sins. 💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜 Where did the Iesous or Jesus come from? It comes from Zeus - the Greek god. In Spanish Jesus is pronounced hey-Zeus. The name Jesus can’t be reconciled to be a Hebrew name. 💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜 1. ONE GOD YHWH (YAHWAH) Deuteronomy 6:4 2. ONE NAME YHWH (YAHWAH) Zechariah 14:9 3. ONE SAVIOR YHWH (YAHWAH) Isaiah 43:3,11 4. ONE REDEEMER YHWH (YAHWAH) Isaiah 44:6 5. ONE MAKER YHWH (YAHWAH) Isaiah 54:5 6. 💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜🍒💜 Isaiah 42:5-16 YAHWAH opened the eyes of the blind. • continuation of chapter 1.1
This is where the tragedy deepens into a full-blown farce. The very thing he fights—the emotion—is just a faithful messenger, a postman delivering news of what he already believes. He treats the messenger as the enemy, beats him up, throws him into the street, while refusing to read the letter. “How dare you bring me this feeling of reluctance!” he cries, as the postman, now a bruised but still very present emotion, sighs and says, “Sir, I’m just doing my job. Take it up with the author.” The Apostle Paul once said, “The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace” (Romans 8:6). Notice he didn’t say, “Beat the flesh-mind with a stick until it learns to behave.” He spoke of a whole new governing. But we prefer a hostile takeover of the post office. We’d rather wrestle the mailman to the ground and demand he bring us different letters while we refuse to change the address the letters are coming from.

‎And because his efforts to defeat the emotion always, always fail in the long run (for a wrong belief will never, ever yield a lasting right feeling), he becomes thoroughly exhausted. And from this exhaustion he draws a devastating conclusion, as if he has discovered some profound truth: “Righteousness itself is a burden. The spiritual life is nothing but a soul-crushing war against my own inner resistance. God is hard, and I am a failure.” That conclusion becomes a shiny new piece of false knowledge, producing even darker emotions, and the cycle tightens its grip, like a snake charmer who’s charmed himself. It’s a self-perpetuating carnival ride: you pay admission with your peace, the ride spins you until you’re nauseous, and when you vomit, the ride operator yells, “See! That’s proof you’re not holy enough! Here’s a mop, and by the way, the next spin starts in five minutes.” The ticket booth is your own false belief, and you keep buying the season pass.

‎But here is the most confusing and tragic knot of all: when sound knowledge is offered to him—when someone gently says, “My friend, your view of God is a bad caricature; the truth is that He is a Father who already, right now, delights in you, and righteous living is simply your natural, joyful response to that love, not a bribe to get it”—man often refuses it. Why? Because he has become so identified with his emotional struggle that he mistakes it for spiritual seriousness. He has been fighting the emotion for so long that he believes the fight itself is righteousness. He’s become a kind of spiritual hypochondriac who thinks his constant pain is proof of his sensitivity. To abandon the fight and accept a new view feels not like liberation, but like surrender, like letting go of his “conscientiousness.” He mistakes his spiritual exhaustion for piety. He rigidly refuses the very knowledge that would set him free, because he has confused the war against the symptom with the actual work. He now believes in his emotional exhaustion as proof of his devotion, like a man who thinks the noise the engine makes is what makes the car go. And if you suggest otherwise, he’ll quote Scripture to defend his misery: “I discipline my body and bring it into subjection” (1 Corinthians 9:27) becomes “I beat up my emotions daily and call it apostleship.” Paul was talking about self-control, not self-flagellation with a cat-o'-nine-tails made of guilt. But the misquoter stands there, whip in hand, proud of his welts, awaiting a martyr’s crown.

‎So the confusion is a multi-layered cake of bewilderment:

‎1. Wrong knowledge produces a painful emotion (the projector’s running a bad film).
‎2. Then man perceives the emotion as the primary problem (he tries to fix the screen).
‎3. He attacks the emotion instead of exchanging the knowledge (he starts scrubbing the screen with a wire brush).
‎4. When his attack fails, he blames himself or God, generating new false knowledge (“The projector hates me.”).
‎5. He then defends his struggle as righteous, rejecting any truth that would dismantle his agonizing framework (“Don’t you dare touch my wire brush! This is holy work!”).

‎He ends up fighting the very belief he has not changed, all the while thinking he is fighting the right opponent—his emotion. Yet the emotion, in its very making, is nothing but the living shape of what he believes. It is not the problem to be solved; it is the faithful echo of a false premise. The wisest man who ever lived put it this way: “Guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it” (Proverbs 4:23). The heart in Hebrew thought includes the mind, the inner knowing. Guard that. But we’ve turned “guard your heart” into “patrol your feelings like a prison warden and shoot any inmate who looks suspicious.” The original advice was about planting a good tree; we made it about beating up the bad fruit with a baseball bat.

‎Years ago, when I was a focus pastor at a campus, a young man came to me with a dilemma so perfectly tragicomical that it nearly stopped my watch. He wanted to overcome lust. His specific problem was that he could not withstand having an erection in front of a beautiful woman. He saw this natural, biological response not as a bodily event, but as a personal betrayal of cosmic proportions. He had, in his mind, already been enlisted in a war against the devil, and his own body was, apparently, a double agent. His proposed solutions were, shall we say, drastic. He was of a view either to have his penis cut off, or to remove the neural centers that generate a response that causes the erection—a sort of internal scorched-earth policy, all in order to satisfy God and escape sin. He was ready to amputate the messenger. Now, he was practically quoting Jesus, though he didn’t realize the irony: “If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away” (Matthew 5:30). But Jesus was using holy hyperbole to deal with sin radically, not handing out surgical consent forms. If you take that verse as a literal amputation manual, you’ll end up as a disembodied stump within a month, and still sinning—because last I checked, you can sin in your thoughts with no hands at all. The only thing worse than a lustful thought is a lustful thought in a body with no parts left to express it, just a torso with a dirty mind. That’s not holiness; that’s a medical oddity.

‎So I asked, with a straight face, “Well, while we’re at it, why not remove your eyes? Or maybe we could just hide you in a cave far, far away, where you can’t ever see a female again. We could airlift in supplies. You’d be completely, perfectly holy—and utterly alone, but hey, no more erections! You could start a new monastic order: the Order of the Perpetually Safe and Extremely Lone.” There was a pause, a flicker of a grin. It was funny, and at the same time desperately serious. He was battling the emotion, the feeling, the embarrassing ambush of his own body, with the only weapon he knew: violent control. He told me however much he had read scriptures, however many times he had fasted until his stomach gnawed at his backbone, nothing had changed. The projector kept showing the film. And in the end, he asked me to lay hands on him, that the authority and power of the Holy Spirit might do a miracle and change him instantly—as if the truth were a lightning bolt that would zap the wrong belief away without his understanding ever having to be involved. He wanted a magical solution to a physiological and theological confusion, a divine software patch downloaded through the ether. But the Holy Spirit is not a cosmic IT desk that reboots your hard drive while you remain blissfully unconscious of the update; the liberation, as Jesus said, comes through knowing the truth (John 8:32), and the truth is a new piece of knowledge that makes the whole absurd struggle evaporate like a mist in the morning sun. You don’t need a hand laid on your forehead; you need a truth laid in your understanding. But we prefer the drama of a fall under the power to the quiet dignity of a mind renewed.

‎And so the silent comedy continues: man remains locked in a war he was never meant to fight, swinging his sword at shadows while the unexamined lie sits enthroned within, calmly, peacefully, reproducing the chaos. Liberation never comes through battling feelings. It comes only when a man is willing to let a new, true piece of knowledge enter and dismantle the lie—and then, astonishingly, the feeling changes on its own, as naturally as a flower opening to the light. The flower doesn’t wrestle its petals apart with grunts and sweat; it simply quits hiding from the sun.

‎Now, just when you thought the absurdity was confined to our internal skirmishes, this same poison of misperception has infected our identities. We have created a grand, global drama of what might be called “hate your neighbor as you hate yourself.”

‎Look at how we are raised. A child born into a Muslim family is, from birth, taught that they are automatically on the righteous team, and that the other team—the Christian one, the Hindu one, all the others—are not just wrong, but constitute a kind of cosmic rebellion that must be fought. A child born into a Christian family inhales the same emotional posture in reverse. Narrow it further: an Anglican is a quiet, dignified rebel against the Catholic; the Catholic against the Anglican. And as the denominations multiply like rabbits, so do the silent, emotional wars. We are not born into truth; we are born into an emotional game of ancestral sports teams. It’s not Manchester United vs. Liverpool, it’s the Assembly of the Firstborn vs. The Remnant of the True Remnant, and both sides are convinced the other is going down in the end-time relegation playoffs. Paul had to beg the early church, “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you” (1 Corinthians 1:10). Already, some were saying “I follow Paul,” others “I follow Apollos.” Today it’s “I follow the pastor who preaches exactly thirty-seven minutes and frowns on drums” versus “I follow the guy with the fog machine and the motivational podcast.” The teams have multiplied, but the game is the same: spiritual paintball with real pain.

‎And such a child, let’s say a Catholic child, grows up secretly awaiting the day when the heavenly trumpets blast and the voice from the clouds, like the sound of a thousand megaphones, roars: “Woooooh! All Catholics, please proceed to Gate A—you are definitely the chosen people! The rest… could you please form an orderly queue, as you are now cosmic toast.” Then they will celebrate, not as someone finally meeting the Beloved, but as a successful rebel who backed the winning horse. And they will turn to their Anglican and Pentecostal friends in the line and say, with genuine, tragic sincerity, “Bro, it was nice knowing you. Remember, I told you, you were on the wrong code. But I’ll miss you. I’ll try to explain your case to Christ; maybe He can downgrade your eternal torment to a mild, lukewarm purgatory.” It sounds like a joke, but it’s the secret emotional undercurrent of a mind that has mistaken a team jersey for a transformed heart. And we haven’t even mentioned the Baptists, who are certain that heaven has an immersion baptismal at the gate and you’ll need a dry-cleaned robe to enter. The only real difference between us and a soccer hooligan is that he’ll fight you in the parking lot, while we’ll just write a strongly worded doctrinal statement explaining why your parking lot doesn’t exist.

‎So, the question is not whether we should fight other religions as rebels or not. That’s like arguing about which character in a movie is the real hero while the entire theater is on fire. The question is: when did we accept this confusion to begin with? When did we sign up for the spiritual war reenactment society? The Scriptures actually tell us that “there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28). You’d think that would put an end to the team jerseys. But no, we immediately divided ourselves into the “One-in-Christ” denomination and the “Also-One-in-Christ-but-with-correct-eschatology” denomination. The church split is always pre-packaged in the very verse meant to heal it. That’s not a revival; that’s a sitcom.

‎In all this, humans are unable to realize one liberating fact: they are not fighting for wisdom. They are just fighting with their emotions, dressed up as soldiers. They are trapped in inherited, emotional feuds, mistaking cultural loyalties and religious brand names for the pursuit of the Divine. A change in understanding—a coming to know the truth of the matter—naturally alters a person’s response to this entire magnificent mass of confusion. You do not need to fight the emotion, whether it’s the hatred of holiness or the smug thrill of being on the “correct” team. You need to see that the whole game is being played on a board that doesn’t exist, propelled by a belief that was never true to begin with. And when you see that, you don’t have to fight to be free. You look around, have a deep cosmic chuckle, and realize you always were. You were the prisoner who spent years begging for freedom while clutching the key to your cell, insisting the key was a holy back-scratcher and you must suffer well.

‎And this brings us to the most delicious piece of the puzzle, the final twist in the cosmic comedy: there is, in truth, no real hatred for righteousness at all. How could there be? The man has never actually tasted it. He is like a fellow who marches into the kitchen, slaps together a meal of boiled anxiety and raw self-effort with a generous pinch of grim duty, arranges it on a plate, sits down at the dining table, and then—before even lifting the fork—explodes with indignation. “What is this dreadful stench? Who chose these ingredients? I despise the salt! Who is the chef around here, some kind of cosmic sadist?” And all the while, he is the one who did the shopping, the cooking, and the seasoning. He is complaining about his own recipe and calling it “God’s banquet.” Isaiah saw this coming: “Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare” (Isaiah 55:2). God is advertising a free, sumptuous feast, and we’re in the corner microwaving a shoe and calling it the “hard path of discipleship.” The shoe is leathery and tough to swallow, and we’re convinced that’s the cost of holiness—never realizing God’s been shouting from the dining room, “Put the shoe down! I have steak!”

‎Man has not had a single real taste of righteousness, because he has been far too busy force-feeding himself a meal he prepared with his own terrified hands. He never paused to consider that there might be a completely different dish, prepared by a completely different Chef, that would make his taste buds sing. He hasn’t even thought to ask, “Perhaps before I complain, I might find out what the right meal actually is.” Instead, he sits at the table, arms crossed, fuming at the aroma of his own boiling resentment, convinced that he hates the forty-course feast of the Divine because the bowl of cold gruel he made for himself tasted awful. The liberation comes not from learning to stomach the gruel with a forced smile, but from discovering that there was a glorious, free banquet prepared all along, and you, my friend, were invited the whole time. And when that truth lands, the complaint evaporates—not because you fought it, but because you finally got up from the table of your own miserable cooking and took a seat where the real food is. And the real food is Himself. “I am the bread of life,” He said. “Whoever comes to me will never go hungry” (John 6:35). That’s not a diet plan; that’s a person.

‎Now, let's be absolutely clear about this, because the joke is on all of us and it's simply too good to miss: the trouble isn't that you have a weak will or a rebellious heart. The hatred of righteousness—that queasy, squirming resistance to what is good and holy—is not some black moral stain on your character that ought to make you hang your head in shame and enroll in a twelve-step program for deplorable sinners. No, no. It is a symptom of a mistake in understanding. A kind of intellectual cramp. A mental charley horse. It's as though your mind has been sitting in an awkward position for too long and has gone completely numb, and now you're furious at the tingling sensation, calling it demonic, when all you really need to do is stand up and walk around a bit. The devil loves a charley horse that gets mistaken for a demonic attack, because it means you’ll spend the next hour rebuking your calf instead of just stretching.

‎But of course, we are human. And human beings, bless our dramatic little hearts, live this life swimming in the medium of emotion as fish swim in water. We wake, we feel, we react. An unpleasant emotion arises, and before you can say "existential crisis," we have named it, judged it, and declared holy war upon it. Quite naturally, we make the mistake of treating certain feelings as ghouls, as demons, as personal Satans lurking in the basement of the psyche, rubbing their hands together and plotting our spiritual downfall. We picture a little red imp with a pitchfork hiding behind our medulla oblongata, whispering, "Go on, feel resentful about holiness, it'll be fun." And then we spend the next three hours rebuking it. But a feeling is not a gremlin. It is simply a manifestation—a shadow on the wall, cast by whatever we happen to believe is true. And you don't defeat a shadow by punching the wall. You'll only break your knuckles and look rather silly. You’ll also have a dented wall and a very confused shadow, which will still be there, probably mocking you.

‎But I want you to notice something quite wonderful, something so obvious that it is almost completely invisible to us in our state of spiritual panic: your emotions, in whatever costume they decide to wear to the party—whether it's gloom, lust, irritation, or that very specific feeling of wanting to strangle the person who just said "just trust the process"—are not intruders. They are perfectly in order. They are, as it were, God-given messengers. And you wouldn't waste a single moment fighting your own nervous system for doing exactly what it's supposed to do. You don't shout at the echo for bouncing back when you call into a canyon. "Why, you impertinent echo! How dare you repeat my exact words back to me with a slight delay! I rebuke you in the name of acoustical propriety!" Absurd, isn't it? Yet here we are, spending our days in full-scale civil war against the very things that make us complete, blasting the echo with a shotgun and wondering why the canyon still talks back. The echo is just your own voice returning to you, and if you don’t like what you hear, the solution is not to silence the canyon; it’s to change the shout. “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). The man’s inner shout shapes his echo. If his thinking is sour, his emotions will smell like a pickle jar left open in the sun. You don’t ban pickles; you change the factory.

‎The only way to know where you actually stand in your understanding of this universe—what you really, secretly, deep-in-your-bones believe—is to take a good, honest look at your emotional state in any given moment. Your feelings are the painting, splashed across the canvas of your experience in vivid color. Your beliefs are the tiny, almost invisible signature at the bottom. If the painting is a chaotic swirl of dread, resentment, and spiritual indigestion, you don't fix it by throwing turpentine at the canvas. You find the painter and ask him what on earth he was thinking.
continuation of chapter 1.1 This is where the tragedy deepens into a full-blown farce. ‎ ‎And because his efforts to defeat the emotion always, always fail in the long run (for a wrong belief will never, ever yield a lasting right feeling), he becomes thoroughly exhausted. ‎ ‎But here is the most confusing and tragic knot of all: when sound knowledge is offered to him—when someone gently says, “My friend, your view of God is a bad caricature; the truth is that He is a Father who already, right now, delights in you, and righteous living is simply your natural, joyful response to that love, not a bribe to get it”—man often refuses it. ‎ ‎So the confusion is a multi-layered cake of bewilderment: ‎ ‎1. ‎ ‎He ends up fighting the very belief he has not changed, all the while thinking he is fighting the right opponent—his emotion. ‎ ‎Years ago, when I was a focus pastor at a campus, a young man came to me with a dilemma so perfectly tragicomical that it nearly stopped my watch. ‎ ‎So I asked, with a straight face, “Well, while we’re at it, why not remove your eyes? ‎ ‎And so the silent comedy continues: man remains locked in a war he was never meant to fight, swinging his sword at shadows while the unexamined lie sits enthroned within, calmly, peacefully, reproducing the chaos. ‎ ‎Now, just when you thought the absurdity was confined to our internal skirmishes, this same poison of misperception has infected our identities. We have created a grand, global drama of what might be called “hate your neighbor as you hate yourself.” ‎ ‎Look at how we are raised. ‎ ‎And such a child, let’s say a Catholic child, grows up secretly awaiting the day when the heavenly trumpets blast and the voice from the clouds, like the sound of a thousand megaphones, roars: “Woooooh! ‎ ‎So, the question is not whether we should fight other religions as rebels or not. ‎ ‎In all this, humans are unable to realize one liberating fact: they are not fighting for wisdom. ‎ ‎And this brings us to the most delicious piece of the puzzle, the final twist in the cosmic comedy: there is, in truth, no real hatred for righteousness at all. I have steak!” ‎ ‎Man has not had a single real taste of righteousness, because he has been far too busy force-feeding himself a meal he prepared with his own terrified hands. ‎ ‎Now, let's be absolutely clear about this, because the joke is on all of us and it's simply too good to miss: the trouble isn't that you have a weak will or a rebellious heart. ‎ ‎But of course, we are human. ‎ ‎But I want you to notice something quite wonderful, something so obvious that it is almost completely invisible to us in our state of spiritual panic: your emotions, in whatever costume they decide to wear to the party—whether it's gloom, lust, irritation, or that very specific feeling of wanting to strangle the person who just said "just trust the process"—are not intruders. ‎ ‎The only way to know where you actually stand in your understanding of this universe—what you really, secretly, deep-in-your-bones believe—is to take a good, honest look at your emotional state in any given moment.

  • Follow After Love
    (Smith Wigglesworth 1922)
I want to turn this morning to the last verse of the thirteenth chapter of First Corinthians, and the first three verses of the fourteenth chapter. I want you to see that the primary thought in this passage is that when love is in perfect progress, other things will work in harmony, for prophetic utterances are of no value unless perfectly covered by divine love.
Jesus was so full of love to His Father and love to us that that love never failed to accomplish its purpose. It works in us and through us by the power of the Father's love in Him. This is what must come into our lives. Christ is to be the all-in-all of all things. All our doings, sayings, workings must be in Him and unto Him. Then our prophetic utterances will be well-pleasing to God. Pentecostal people sometimes make prophetic utterance a side issue. They think they are obliged to rise up and speak because the Spirit is upon them. That is not true - and again it is true. If they are in the right place - hidden away in Christ, saturated with His love they will have such unction as to be balanced and always have spiritual utterance that pleases Him. It will all be to edification.
"Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy" (1 Corinthians 14:1). Moses said, I would " ... that all the Lord's people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!" (Numbers11:29). And this is to me a revelation that God would have us in such a spiritual, holy place that He can take our words and so fill them with divine power that we speak in the Spirit right along in prophetic utterance. Beloved, there is human language on the human plane, and there is a divine incoming into the same language so that it is changed by spiritual power and made to live to those who hear. That divine touch of prophetic utterance will never come on any line except being filled with the Spirit. If you wish to be anything for God, do not miss the plan. You cannot afford to be on ordinary lines. You must realize that within you there is a power of the Spirit that is forming everything you require.
Perhaps you have not heard what our experience was in the early days of the Christian Mission in England which turned out to be the Salvation Army. I have never seen anything like it in my life. The power of God rested upon the worst characters and they were saved. It reached every class. Drunkards were saved right and left and the next day when they were put up for testimony their testimony thrilled the place so that the power of God fell upon others who in turn became witnesses to the salvation of Christ. There was no such thing as a building large enough to hold the work. The meetings were in open marketplaces, and they put big wagons there for platforms. The people who were saved the night before would speak and the power of God would fall.
I maintain that we are in a different order and a higher, yet we lack. We have too much preaching and too little testifying. You can never get a live Pentecostal church with a preacher every night preaching, preaching, preaching. The people become weary of preaching. But they never tire of the whole place being on fire. Therefore I can understand the exhortation "that ye may prophesy." You must awake out of your lethargy. There is no room for a man in the Pentecostal Movement who has settled on his lees. If you come to a Pentecostal meeting and sit through it unmoved, you are not in the Spirit, and dearth will fall on the church.
When the Holy Ghost comes in His fullness He comes into a man to move him so that he knows he has to speak now in a different way. " ... when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth ... " (John16:13). The Holy Ghost is inspiration, revelation, manifestation, operation. When a man comes into the fullness of the Holy Ghost he is in perfect order, built on a scriptural foundation. I have failed to find any man who understood the 12th, 13th and 14th chapters of First Corinthians unless he had been baptized in the Holy Ghost. When a man gets baptized with the Holy Ghost, he speaks from a deep inward conviction, by the power of the Spirit, a revelation of that Scripture.
God wants to make us on fire in the Spirit, speaking burning words. He wants to make all that a man has so prophetic in all its bearings that he will always speak as an oracle of God. There ought to be something within him that shines through him with a vital power that makes men know he has seen God, and they feel God has come into their midst.
One day in a railroad carriage I was drawing near to Cardiff and washed my hands and face because I knew the moment I jumped off the train I should have to rush to get to the meeting. I had just a little season of prayer while washing. Meanwhile the carriage had filled up with people who got on at Newport. When I returned there were two ministerial gentlemen with the accustomed white collars. These two parsons cried out under conviction of sin, and in ten minutes' time the whole place was bathed in prayer and conviction.
We should be filled with the Holy Ghost to such an extent it would always be so. To be filled with the Holy Ghost and fire is a higher order different from anything else. I often kneel before God thinking, "Now what is the burden of my heart?" The Lord knows more than I do about the burden, and the moment I kneel down I lose all my English. I am in the presence of God and He takes me right on to victory. Talk about this praying in the Holy Ghost, there is nothing like it! There is a secret about it. It is a secret between you and God. It is purely a Holy Ghost utterance. Let me tell you an incident of what it does. It does such marvelous things.
Brother Burton, who is associated with my son-in-law in Africa, has a wonderful work going on in the Congo. When they were going there to break up the new ground they lost one man on the way, and then Burton was laid low. He seemed dead, and they started on brokenheartedly. But looking around they saw him coming on just as lively as though he had never had a touch of fever. "What has happened?" they shouted. "Tell us!" He said, "From my head right down there came a warmth of life through my body, and here I am perfectly well."
Afterwards Burton visited England and when he was at a meeting a woman said to him, "Do you keep a diary?" "Yes," he answered. "I wish you would look at your diary," she continued, "and tell me what happened on a certain day," (giving the date). While he was looking it up she went on, "I saw you lying as one dead, and I was broken down before God in your behalf and was praying for you when the Spirit filled me and there I was speaking in an unknown tongue, and when I got through I saw you looking perfectly well. Burton found in his diary that it was the very hour of his recovery. What we need is more of the Holy Ghost. Oh, let it be no longer we but the Spirit who prays!
Two African boys were brought to us from the Congo, and my daughter said to me, "Father, will you take the boys around?" Well, it was a job because they could not speak a word of English. When I was walking with these boys I kept saying, "Praise the Lord, Amen." After a while they caught on to it. So when I said, "Praise the Lord," they would say, "Amen." We boarded a car which was full of people and the boys were at one end and I at the other. They would shout, "Praise the Lord!" and I would respond, "Amen," and we kept it up through the town. The boys were having a great time. When they sought the baptism of the Holy Ghost we had a glorious time. By the way, these "boys" were thirty years old. The Holy Ghost fell on them and gave them a new language, so different from their own. It was wonderful. They were full of the Spirit and joyful beyond words. They said, "When we were saved it was good, very good; but now it is more good, more so!" 0 beloved! I know God wants us all to have this "more so" salvation. It is not a measure but a pressed down measure; and not only a pressed down measure but a measure shaken together and running over. The baptism of the Spirit is an overflowing cup. Praise the Lord!
People who are baptized in the Holy Ghost can have a wonderful time in song. I have seen it, especially in England. If we only understood it better we should have greater chorals than ever were sung, far better than man ever made. I have heard singing in the Spirit with such rarity of music as I have never heard elsewhere, music from the deepest bass to octaves higher than you ever hear in the natural. All is in perfect harmony and it makes you think of a big organ, only more massive, more beautiful. Everyone gets to weeping and rejoicing and is solemnized by the presence of God, so that there is nothing in the flesh. The people are melted down at such times. I pray God we may all come to understand this in its fullness.

"Tell us!" He said, "From my head right down there came a warmth of life through my body, and here I am perfectly well." Afterwards Burton visited England and when he was at a meeting a woman said to him, "Do you keep a diary?" "Yes," he answered. (1922, Glad Tidings Tabernacle, San Francisco, California.)
