Continue in the Faith
After facing intense opposition, persecution, and even being stoned and left for dead, Paul did not allow suffering to stop his mission. Instead, he returned to the churches he had planted to strengthen and encourage new believers. His message was both honest and hopeful: following Christ would involve trials, but they were to continue faithfully because God's kingdom was worth every hardship.
Paul did not promise an easy Christian life. Rather, he reminded the disciples that difficulties are a normal part of following Jesus. Trials are not evidence that God has abandoned His people. Instead, they are often the very circumstances through which He strengthens our faith, deepens our dependence on Him, and shapes us into the likeness of Christ.
