• DEAR GOD… CORRECT ME, DIRECT ME & PROTECT ME

Not every prayer is about blessings…
Sometimes the most powerful prayer is:
    “Lord, change ME.”

    Correct me when I’m wrong.
    Direct me when I’m lost.
Protect me when I can’t see the danger ahead.

God’s guidance may not always be comfortable… but it will always lead you to purpose.
Trust His timing. Trust His direction. Trust His heart.

Even in your weakest moments, His hands are still covering you.

If this is your prayer today, comment:
    “AMEN”

DAY 3 – THE FIRM FOUNDATION
What Has God Been Building Over These Years?

#WorshipAndTheWord – Built on the Rock
    #BuildMyLife #Housefires

God has been building something in me for 55 years—and it will stand.

Jesus is not just my Saviour—He is my foundation. Through every season, every challenge, and every victory, He has been the Rock beneath my life, establishing something unshakable through His finished work on the cross.
This journey has not been random—it has been intentional. Every lesson, every step of faith, and every moment of obedience has been part of God building a life that can carry purpose into the next season.

    Designed With Purpose
God has been forming my life long before this moment
    Psalm 139:13–16 (BSB)
“For You formed my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well.
My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all my days were written in Your book and ordained for me before one of them came to be.”
Our lives are not accidental—God has been intentionally building and ordering every step from the very beginning, laying the foundation, and helping us build

    A Foundation That Stands
Storms reveal what God has built
    Matthew 7:24-25
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain fell, the torrents raged, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because its foundation was on the rock.”
What God builds in obedience will stand through every storm

    God Is the True Builder
Every year has been in His hands
    Psalm 127:1
“Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain; unless the LORD protects the city, its watchmen stand guard in vain.”
My life is not self-built—it is God-established

The Power of a Wise Builder
What is built now impacts what comes next
    Proverbs 14:1
“The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.”
Parents are placed by God to help us build lives with God's Wisdom to build a legacy that continues beyond today

    He Finishes What He Starts
God’s work in your life is still in progress
    Philippians 1:6
“being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will continue to perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”
What God started in you, He will faithfully complete—your foundation is still being built for what’s ahead

    Beloved:
Look back and recognise what God has built in you. Reject every lie that says your journey has been wasted or your foundation is weak. God has been at work—strengthening, shaping, and preparing you.
This is not the end of a season—it is the strengthening of your foundation for what comes next. Stand firm, trust His work, and move forward with confidence.
God brings some people into your life for a season, to teach you lessons or help you grow. Others come for a reason, to fulfill a specific purpose, and some for a lifetime. Learn to appreciate each one for how they help to build your life.

    Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for every year You have been building my life. I am grateful for each person that you have brought into my life that has helped to build me into the man I am. I'm not yet who I am meant to be but you are shaping me and building me into that man of God I'm called to be.
So I reject every lie of intimidation, regret, failure, or wasted time. I receive Your truth—that You have been establishing something strong and lasting in me.
Holy Spirit, empower me to continue building on Christ, to walk in obedience, and to step confidently into what You have prepared next.
I'm confident that you will finish your good work in me, and I will bring joy to your heart My Father, and glory to your name.
I declare that my foundation is secure, and my future is established in You.
    In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

  • Alone with God

    Give your all

    1 Samuel 16:7 KJV
“Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”

When God sees you and I, He is not concerned about how we dress, comb our hair or what shoes we wear. He is concerned however about how we act towards one another, how we treat strangers, and speak to others about Him. God knows the one who like King David, are men and women after His own heart. He desires to give you His very best, the question is, are you willing to give your all to Him in order to receive it from Him?

    Lets Pray
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Amen

  • THIS IS MY STORY

My parents tried for 13 years to have a baby. In 1969, I wasborn but something went wrong. I had some oxygen problems leading to my brainso they had keep me in the hospital for about a month. We would later find outthat this would cause a lot of issues for me.

We soon found out what some of those issues were. When Istarted school, the teachers saw that I had a problem seeing the words theright way on the chalkboard. The doctor tested me for many things. It wasfinally discovered that I had dyslexia. After I was diagnosed with dyslexia Iwas immediately put in the special needs class in school where everything hadto be read to me or put on tape so that I could listen to it. This made thingseasier for me to learn but it was really hard on me emotionally. As a smallchild, I could not understand why this happened to me. I was really mad at God.I thought that everything he made was perfect so why wasn’t I made "perfect." Iyelled at God a lot. I hated myself and wished a lot of times that I was notborn. My whole school life I was made fun of but God was working even then. Ittook me a while, but I realized that God had a plan for me even if I couldn’tsee it. Sometimes the pain of being different was really hard to deal with andat the age of 16 I was so tired of my life that I was thinking of a way to endit but again God was working. One night I went to youth group at my church anda pastor was talking about going on a mission trip. I instantly felt Godpulling me to the front to join this pastor on this trip. I asked God – is thisyour plan for me? God told me to go so that He could heal me. I think this wasjust the beginning of God beginning to heal me – physically, spiritually andemotionally. I went home and shared this with my parents who asked "are yousure you want to go?" I said, "I have to go so that God can heal me. I need toshare my testimony with people."

In 1985, I went on my first mission trip. This was thebeginning of God’s healing. I saw so many kids and homeless people come to knowGod that year. It was amazing. I knew then that I had found what I was lookingfor – his plan for me. Every summer after that year I went a mission trip. Ihave been to several countries and all over the United States sharing God’slove and my testimony to kids and the homeless people.

In 1990, I went to college in Dallas, TX at Christ for theNations. Four years later I graduated with a Bachelor of Theology degree with aminor in missions. This was something that I never thought was possible with mydyslexia but God continued to work in my life. I try to share God’s love to asmany people as I can. Satan still loves to play with a lot but I just remindhim that I have a big God who love and cares about me. He made me just the waythat I am to serve Him in the best way that I know how. I cannot say that Godhas completely healed me of my dyslexia – there are still times that I havetrouble but I have come a long way from being the little boy in the specialneeds class. God has brought me farther than I ever thought possible and forthat I am eternally grateful. "I praise you because I am fearfully andwonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm139:14

Just like David did with a stone and the power of God andkilled his Goliath we also have that same power readily available to us. AskGod to help you today. He will! He will show you His plan for your life – justcall on Him. He can work in ways that you never thought possible.
