  • THIS WORLD IS NOT OUR HOME

    We get comfortable here...
    building lives, chasing dreams, seeking pleasures, and holding onto things that were never meant to last.

    But Scripture reminds us over and over again,
    Jesus is coming back.

    Not as a baby in a manger.
    Not in silence.
    But in power. In glory. In a moment that will change everything.

    “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout… and the dead in Christ will rise first.”
    1 Thessalonians 4:16

    The rapture isn’t just a theory to debate..
    it’s a promise to prepare and be ready for–keep your lamps full.

    Because one day, in the middle of your ordinary life,
    a conversation, a busy morning, a car ride, or a quiet night–everything will shift in an instant.

    And the question won’t be:
    Did you go to church sometimes?
    Did you call yourself a Christian?

    The question will be:
    Did you know Him? Did you talk to Him? Did you follow Him? Did you trust and obey Him?

    Not just know about Him, but truly walk with Him.
    Trust Him. Follow Him. Surrender to Him.

    Jesus didn’t warn us about His return to scare us,
    He told us so we would be ready and waiting.

    “Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Matthew 24:44

    This isn’t the time to live in a lukewarm faith.

    This isn’t the time to straddle the fence with one foot in the world and one foot with God.

    And when He comes back…
    there won’t be time to fix it later.

    But here’s the hope, the part that should set your heart on fire:
    For those who belong to Him,
    His return isn’t something to fear…
    It’s something to long for.

    No more pain.
    No more sin.
    No more fighting battles you’re tired of losing.

    Just Jesus.

    Face to face.

    If there’s anything pulling you away from God–Let it go.

    If there’s distance between you and Him… close it!

    If you’ve been lukewarm… wake up!

    Because we are closer than we’ve ever been!

    And when that trumpet sounds you’ll want to know without a doubt–you’re going with Him in the Rapture.

  • The Wave of the Last Days !!!

    We are living in an unusual time — a time the Bible clearly describes as “the last days.”

    These days are not ordinary days but prophetic times filled with spiritual pressure, moral decay, global unrest, and increasing hunger for truth.

    The disciples asked Jesus:

    “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” — Matthew 24:3

    Jesus responded by describing a wave — a powerful movement of events, attitudes, and spiritual conditions that would sweep across the earth. We are now experiencing that wave.

    This sermon reveals:

    What the wave of the last days looks like

    The dangers it carries

    The opportunities it presents

    How believers must prepare

    1. THE WAVE OF DECEPTION IS RISING

    Jesus warned first about deception:

    “Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name… and shall deceive many.” — Matthew 24:4–5

    False teachings, fake prophets, altered gospel, and message of convenience rather than truth are everywhere.

    Paul warned:

    “…the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine…” — 2 Timothy 4:3

    In the last days:

    Truth will be resisted

    Error will be attractive

    Many will choose comfort over conviction.

    You must know the Word of God for yourself. A weak Christian will not survive a strong deception.

    2. THE WAVE OF LAWLESSNESS AND COLD LOVE

    Jesus said:

    “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” — Matthew 24:12

    There is an increase in:

    * Violence

    * Corruption

    * Immorality

    * Betrayal

    * Selfishness

    Paul described people of the last days:

    “Lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud… unholy… lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.” — 2 Timothy 3:1–5

    You can see it everywhere — in families, churches, leadership, and even among believers.

    The believer must not be shaped by the world’s wave but stand as light in the darkness.

    3. THE WAVE OF SIGNS AND BIRTH PAINS

    “For nation shall rise against nation… famines, pestilences, earthquakes… All these are the beginning of sorrows.” — Matthew 24:7–8

    We see it:

    * Natural disasters

    * Wars & rumors of wars

    * Disease & fear

    * Economic instability

    These are spiritual warning sirens that Jesus is returning soon. Every event is a call to repentance and readiness.

    The wise don’t panic; they prepare!

    4. THE WAVE OF PERSECUTION & TRIALS FOR BELIEVERS.

    “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you…” — Matthew 24:9

    True believers will face:

    * Mockery

    * Rejection

    * Persecution

    * Pressure to compromise

    Christianity is becoming more difficult — and more dangerous — in many places.

    Only those rooted in Christ will stand when the storm becomes stronger.

    5. THE WAVE OF THE HOLY GHOST OUTPOURING

    While darkness increases, God also promised a great wave of the Spirit:

    “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh…” — Joel 2:28

    In the last days, God will:

    Raise bold believers

    Give visions and dreams

    Ignite revival

    Save souls massively

    Darkness and glory are increasing together. The true Church will shine the brightest.

    6. THE FINAL WAVE: JESUS IS COMING SOON

    Jesus declared:

    “Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me…” — Revelation 22:12

    The last and greatest wave is His return.

    “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout…” — 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17

    There will be:

    A rapture of the saints

    Judgment for the wicked

    Reward for the faithful

    A new heaven and earth

    THIS IS NOT A STORY — IT IS A COMING REALITY.

    HOW THEN SHALL WE LIVE IN THIS LAST-DAY WAVE?

    Live holy — 1 Peter 1:15–16

    Watch and pray — Matthew 26:41

    Win souls — Daniel 12:3

    Hold on to faith — Hebrews 10:23

    Love God more than the world — 1 John 2:15

    “He that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.” — Matthew 24:13

    CONCLUSION
    The wave of the last days is already here.

    It is:

    A wave of deception

    A wave of destruction

    A wave of decision

    A wave of revival

    A wave of Christ’s return

    The question is not “Is it coming?”
    The question is “Are you ready?”

    This is your moment to arise, repent, watch, and prepare.

    SALVATION CALL
    If you are unsure of your salvation, pray:

    “Lord Jesus, I confess I am a sinner. I believe You died for me and rose again. Forgive me of my sins. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Prepare me for Your coming. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

    Pastor Abiodun Kadri

  • A Call to the Body of Christ

    Brothers and sisters, I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorist - but we are living in the times the Bible spoke about. We see things playing out exactly as God said in His Word.

    It’s better to be safe than sorry. Better to live prepared, than to be unready when the day comes. Jesus warned us: “Two will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.” (Matthew 24:40)

    The coming of Jesus is near. The rapture is at our doors. Christian persecution is at an all-time high. Churches have turned into entertainment halls. We are seeing the great falling away - just as it was in the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37).

    Look around: natural disasters, wars, nations rising against nations - all of it is written (Matthew 24:6–7). Yet many still say, “This must happen first… I still have time… I can enjoy one more party, one more sinful pleasure before I get serious about God.” But hear this: God looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). He sees where your loyalty truly lies.

    The Bible says: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6) Not wisdom - for wisdom comes from God - but knowledge, which we can learn and walk in now.

    We cannot keep going to church as if it’s a fashion show, waiting to see what brother or sister is wearing, or wasting time in gossip. The Body of Christ must wake up. We need unity. Once we realize that as Christians we are not scattered individuals but a nation, a people with a King, we will understand the times we live in and the power God has given us (1 Peter 2:9).

    Let us pray. Let us fast. Let us seek God. Let us preach the full gospel - not the watered-down, feel-good message, but the gospel that cuts to the heart, soul, spirit, bone, and marrow (Hebrews 4:12).

    Jesus is not returning as “little friendly Jesus, my best friend.” He is coming back as the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings, the Judge of all the earth (Revelation 19:11–16). The One to whom every knee will bow - in heaven, on earth, and under the earth (Philippians 2:10).

    The question is not if - but are you ready?

    Friend, the Bible warns that Jesus Christ is coming again — and His coming is closer than ever. The question is not if He will return, but when — and more importantly, are you ready?
    Many confuse the Rapture with the Second Coming, but the Word of God makes a clear distinction between these two great events. The Rapture is a moment of hope for the believer. The Second Coming is a moment of judgment for the world.
    The Rapture — Christ Coming FOR His Church
    The rapture is the sudden, catching away of the church — the Bride of Christ — to meet Him in the air.
    1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (KJV):
    “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
    Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
    Key truths about the rapture:
    Jesus comes in the air (not to the earth).
    The dead in Christ are raised.
    Living believers are changed and caught up (1 Corinthians 15:51–52).
    This is the blessed hope (Titus 2:13).
    ️ It is imminent — it can happen at any moment!
    The Second Coming — Christ Coming WITH His Church
    Unlike the rapture, the Second Coming happens after the Tribulation, when Christ returns visibly to earth to reign.
    Revelation 19:11,14–15 (KJV):
    “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war…
    And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
    And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron…”
    Key truths about the Second Coming:
    Every eye shall see Him (Revelation 1:7).
    He comes in power and judgment.
    He defeats the Antichrist and his armies.
    He establishes His millennial reign on earth (Revelation 20:1–4).
    This is not a secret coming — it is public, visible, and earth-shaking.
    The Difference in Purpose
    Rapture: Deliverance of the church (1 Thessalonians 1:10).
    Second Coming: Judgment on the world and establishment of Christ’s kingdom (Matthew 24:29–30).
    Closing Warning
    Beloved, you only have two choices:
    Be caught up with Christ at the rapture.
    Or be left behind for the Tribulation and face the wrath of God.
    “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV)
    Don’t wait. Jesus is coming. The trumpet could sound at any moment. Are you ready?

  • Go and Sin No More

    In the hustle of daily life—scrolling feeds, chasing deadlines, school drama, or church doubts—do you carry a secret weight? That mistake, habit, or weakness haunting you? If so, hear this Bible story from John 8:1-11: the woman caught in adultery. It's not ancient history; it's a lifeline of God's love, freeing you from shame.

    Scene: Early morning, temple courts. Jesus teaches when Pharisees drag in a woman caught in adultery. Humiliated and terrified, she faces stoning per Moses' Law (Lev. 20:10; Deut. 22:22). Accusers test Jesus: "Moses commanded stoning. What do You say?" (John 8:4-5, NKJV). They aim to trap Him.

    Jesus stoops, writes on the ground—perhaps echoing God writing the Commandments (Ex. 31:18) or listing their sins. Pressed, He says: "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first" (John 8:7). He stoops again. Convicted, accusers leave, oldest first. Alone with her, Jesus asks: "Where are your accusers? Has no one condemned you?" She: "No one, Lord." He: "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more" (John 8:10-11).

    This hits home for students hiding phone use, pros masking burnout, or churchgoers feeling fake. Jesus meets us in mess, offers escape.

    Lessons from Jesus:

    1. He sees sin (adultery violates God's design, Ex. 20:14) but loves the sinner. No sugarcoating, yet no piling on. In cancel culture or gossip, He shows: All sin (Rom. 3:23), but God loves sinners (Rom. 5:8). If in porn, cheating, or lies—He redeems, not destroys.

    2. He pricks accusers' consciences, echoing Deut. 17:7 (blameless cast first stone). Their hypocrisy fades. Like "gotcha" social media or judging others (Matt. 7:1-5), accusers mirror Satan (Rev. 12:10). If you're judging—drop the stone, turn to Christ.

    3. "Where are your accusers?" shows: One with God is majority (Ps. 27:1). Amid peer pressure, politics, or expectations, Jesus is enough.

    4. "Go and sin no more" is grace-empowered, not willpower. Human nature fails (Rom. 7:18-19), but grace teaches holy living (Titus 2:11-12). Holy Spirit enables (Ezek. 36:26-27). Old law brings death (Rom. 6:23), but Jesus paid it (Isa. 53:5-6). For recurring sins like vaping, gossip, or bitterness: Receive forgiveness, lean on grace, transform.

    Lessons from the woman:

    1. Aware of law, no denial or excuses (Rom. 2:14-15, conscience witnesses). Confession brings mercy (Prov. 28:13); covering sins fails.

    2. Humble and helpless, embodying no one righteous (Rom. 3:10-12). Good deeds can't save (Isa. 64:6; Eph. 2:8-9). All need grace—volunteers or rebels alike.

    3. Receives new law of grace, becoming new creation (2 Cor. 5:17). Freed, she lives changed, with joy.

    General lessons: Covering sin brings no prosperity; confession yields mercy (Prov. 28:13). Sins find you out (Num. 32:23). Meet Christ for second chance, like Saul to Paul (Acts 9:1-19). Confess for forgiveness (1 John 1:9) and purpose (Jer. 29:11). Sin brings death (Ezek. 18:20), but Christ died for us (Rom. 5:6). Accusers like Satan, but Jesus intercedes (Heb. 7:25). Come boldly for grace (Heb. 4:16).

    Jesus doesn't condemn—He calls sinners to repent (Luke 5:32). Surrender in secrets, schools, churches, offices. Pray: "Lord, confess my sins. Forgive, empower me to go and sin no more." Message if you need talk; share if touched. God's love is for you.
