• Daily devotion: Habakkuk 3:17-18

“Even though the fig trees have no fruit and no grapes grow on the vines, even though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no corn, even though the sheep all die and the cattle stalls are empty, I will still be joyful and glad, because the LORD God is my saviour.”

The one thing that no one can deny is that the human race is flailing under the oppression of pure evil. Never, in my lifetime, has the world been filled with so much anger, hatred and death. People are out of control. This current generation continues to mock God and the faithful. It also seems that nature itself turned its back on people. Fire and earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, drought and famine, pestilence. And I’m not even mentioning the events happening in space.

The world is filled with godless people. You look at the news and see the devil in their eyes. They are not hiding anymore. These are similar to the days of Noah and it has been prophesied that, in endtimes, people will be selfish and arrogant, lovers of money and superficial appearances. They will mock our God and refuse to repent. They ask: “Where is this God of yours. Show me the scientific evidence of His existence.” Do they not understand that even THEY were CREATED by God. THEY are the evidence. Every single cell of all that lives on this planet, humans, animals, plants, has been made by God Himself. Our purpose on earth is to worship our Lord and to spread the gospel.

As Christians we should not fear the things that are happening and the things that are still coming. We may live difficult lives, but still we need to rejoice in the Lord. It may seem impossible to praise God in times of anguish, but just look at what Habakkuk 3:19 says: “The Sovereign LORD gives me strength. He makes me sure-footed as a deer, and keeps me safe on the mountains.”

God is within each one of us and we should look towards the future with joy and exaltation, for He is steadfast, He is almighty, He is the ONE God. He sees through the artificial smiles, He knows what troubles your heart and He will take care of you ALWAYS.

  • Revelation 4:1-11 describes a vision of Yochanon (John) who received a revelation of the heavenly Throne Room. It describes a scene where the twenty four Elders cast they’re crowns before the throne declaring the Creators Supreme authority and glory over all creation. #verseoftheday #commentary #bible #endtimes #revelations

This scripture nails “Mother Nature” in her coffin where she belongs! Let’s get into it.

  • Daily Devotion: John 12:46

“I have come into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me should not remain in the darkness.”

There is no doubt that we are living in the darkest times. We see war, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, earthquakes, famine and pestelance almost every day. I don’t know about you, but I hear more and more about people having either visions of the rapture or prophetic dreams.

The end of this earthly life is drawing nearer. Prophesies are being fulfilled in front of our eyes.

Yet, there is hope for us all. Whether you’re discouraged by the news or you yourself are living in troubling situations. You may even feel far from God. There remains one thing that will comfort you and make you feel that life is worth living.

Yes, I’m talking about the light that our Savior, Jesus Christ brought into the world. All you have to do is to accept His invitation.

    Matthew 11:28 GNBDC

“Come to me, all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest.”

  • “The LORD is my light and my salvation; I will fear no one. The LORD protects me from all danger; I will never be afraid.”

In these day where we, once again, hear of Christians being murdered, we really need to adopt a a “no fear” attitude. Yes, we do tremble when we hear about the horrors our brothers and sisters in Christ suffered, but we DO NOT stop worshipping our Lord.

In this dark world, so much like the days of Noah, we must navigate our paths in the light of the Lord. (Matthew 24:37) We need to trust Him to save us and protect us. Remember, those who died for their faith in God, will be honored and allowed to stand in the presence of the Father (Revelations 7:14).

You need not fear the sword nor the hatred of your enemy, because your treasures are in heaven. On earth they may destroy your physical body, but your soul has been redeemed. Nothing can separate you from the love of the Lord and you will join those already in heaven. You will worship and sing praises to our Savior.

So, friends, you need not fear the wrath of man, but hold on to your faith and trust God to guide you on your way.

  • Daily Devotion: Mark 24:42 & 44

“Be on your guard, then, because you do not know what day your Lord will come…you [also] must always be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you are not expecting him.”

If you are a Christian, you will be well aware of the scriptures that predict the return of Jesus Christ. This is no idle prediction by a human who calls himself a prophet; these are the words of angels themselves. Remember whom the disciples met after Jesus’ ascension? These are their words.

Acts 1:11: “Galileans, why are you standing here looking up at the sky? This Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way that you saw him go…..”

Throughout the Bible there are hints and warnings about things to come. If you take heed, if you dare look around you, you will see the prophecies are being fulfilled in our lifetime. We see how the world is wandering away from God, we see the evil face of men controlling the world by force, we see their terrible deeds and we see the confusion of the entire human race. Plagues, natural disasters, yes, even knowledge is increasing. People are seeing strange signs in the sky, hearing inexplicable noises coming from the heavens and, all the while, we are bustling around like ants. Forever consuming what has been provided, forever increasing in knowledge, forever nurturing hate, envy and hypocrisy.

Timothy describes the ways of the world very well in 2 Timothy chapter 3.

2 Timothy 3:1-5: “Remember that there will be difficult times in the last days. People will be selfish, greedy, boastful and conceited; they will be insulting, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, and irreligious; they will be unkind, merciless, slanderers, violent and fierce; they will hate what is good; they will be treacherous, reckless, and swollen with pride; they will love pleasure rather that God; they will hold the outward form of religion, but reject its real power.”

When you know the signs, you will recognise it all around you and come to understand that the time for Christ’s return is closer than ever. I want you to heed the warnings, to read the signs and to ensure that you have accepted Christ as your Saviour. Watch your ways, be prepared, and do not be caught off guard, for our Lord is on His way.

Revelation 1:7: “Look, he is coming on the clouds! Everyone will see him, including those who pierced him.”

    More reading: Daniel 12:1, Mark 13:32, 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and 5:2, 2 Peter 3:10

  • A robber spent his life in sin, stealing and hurting others without fear… until one terrifying night changed everything.
He dreamed that he died and was cast into hell, screaming in fear and regret. Suddenly, he woke up trembling, realizing God had given him one more chance.
Broken and crying, he fell on his knees and repented with all his heart. Then King Jesus appeared in glory and said:
“Your sins are forgiven… follow Me.”
No matter how far someone has fallen, the mercy of Jesus can still save them.
Watch till the end and remember: it’s never too late to repent.
