• Daily Devotion: Romans 5:1

“Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Isn’t this what we all crave? Peace. The world talks of peace all the time, but the news proves otherwise. There are turmoil across the globe, political unrest, war, disease, natural disasters and more. This adds to our own personal troubles. We are tired of these daily cares and worries and just want everything to be calm and serene so that we can live our lives in peace.

Did you know that you can have peace in the midst of a troubled life? If you’ve accepted Jesus Christ as your Saviour and believe that He has risen from the dead and now is our intermediary with God the Father, you can have peace through your faith in Him. All you have to do is to admit to your own frailty and give all your cares to Him, knowing that He will sort it all out.

1 Peter 5:6-7: “Humble yourselves, then, under God’s mighty hand, so that he will lift you up in his own good time. Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you.”

You may feel overwhelmed at the moment, but nothing overwhelms God. Let go of your troubles, lay it at the feet of our Lord and He will help you. Remember that, on the cross, He suffered for all our sins, He carried all our burdens and eventually gave His life so that we may live. Can you imagine this? Can you imagine the pain and sorrow that must have consumed Jesus as He hung on that cross? He even called out to God, whom He felt abandoned Him in His extremity. So, you see, nothing is new to Him. That which you find so threatening at the moment, He has already overcome. He understands your pain and worry, because He already suffered through it. You can have the confidence that He will bring you the peace you seek.Would you have enough faith today to lay your burdens at the feet of our Saviour?

  • G’day

DAY 3 – AT THE CROSS
    When Mercy Meets Me

    #WorshipAndTheWord – Love Poured Out
    #AtTheCross #HillsongWorship

The Cross still speaks mercy over every surrendered heart.

Jesus took our sin, shame, and punishment upon Himself so we could receive forgiveness, righteousness, and eternal life. At Calvary, the spotless Lamb of God became the sacrifice for humanity’s redemption. His love was proven not merely in words, but through His blood poured out for us.

Because of the Cross, we are no longer prisoners to guilt, condemnation, or fear. Christ has made a way for us to approach the Father boldly. Worship flows from hearts that remember the incredible price Jesus paid to bring us near to God.

    THE PLACE OF EXCHANGE
At the Cross, Jesus exchanged our brokenness for His grace.
    Romans 5:8 (BSB)
“But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
The Cross is the eternal evidence that God’s love reaches even the undeserving.

    MERCY TRIUMPHS
Jesus cancelled every debt that stood against us. Paid In Full
    Colossians 2:13-14
“He forgave us all our trespasses, having cancelled the debt ascribed to us in the decrees that stood against us. He took it away, nailing it to the cross!”
Through Christ, our past no longer defines us—His mercy does.

    REDEEMED BY HIS BLOOD
The sacrifice of Jesus purchased our freedom forever.
    Ephesians 1:7
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.”
Redemption is not earned through works; it is received through faith in Jesus Christ.

    Beloved:
Do not return to chains that Jesus already broke at the Cross. Shame has no authority over the redeemed child of God. Lift your eyes again to Calvary and remember that the blood of Jesus still saves, restores, heals, and transforms lives today.
Walk boldly in the freedom Christ purchased for you. Reject condemnation and embrace the mercy of God. Let gratitude rise within your heart until worship becomes your daily response to His unfailing love.
What do you need to leave at the foot of the cross today? Sin, Fear, Pride, Sickness, Pain, Shame, Addiction ?
Type 'Paid In Full' in the comments as an act of faith.

    Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You for the Cross and for the sacrifice of Your Son. Thank You that through His blood I have forgiveness, redemption, and peace with God.
I reject shame, condemnation, and every lie of the enemy. I receive the mercy, grace, and freedom purchased for me through Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit, help me never lose wonder at the power of the Cross. Teach me to live daily in gratitude, obedience, and worship before You.
I declare that I am redeemed, forgiven, restored, and made new through Jesus Christ.
    In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

  • DAILY SCRIPTURE: ROMANS 5:8

    Daily Devotion: Romans 5:8

“But God has shown us how much he loves us – it was while we were sinners that Christ died for us!”

God doesn’t want anyone to be damned, He proved that when He sacrificed His Son so that we may live. You may think that you’ve committed so many sins that there is no hope for salvation, but God doesn’t judge like the world, He already made sure that you will be saved.

Through the blood of Jesus Christ, who was judged and condemned on our behalf, we can find redemption. All you have to do is to believe that Christ died for your sins too. Accept Him as your Saviour, let His blood clear your name and allow the Holy Spirit to take residence in your heart.

This is such an easy decision; the choice between life and death – life in Christ or death if you reject Him. Will you choose life today and allow Christ to remove your sins with His blood?

Send a DM if you need any advice, help or prayer.

  • Peace with God: The Foundation of Romans 5

At the heart of Romans 5 is the concept of peace with God. Paul begins by declaring that through justification by faith, we now have peace with God. This peace is not merely the absence of conflict; it is the presence of a restored relationship. Sin had created a divide between humanity and God, but through Christ, that divide has been bridged, and we are now reconciled to Him.

    https://youtu.be/5OLFYug8GyM

This peace gives us a firm foundation in our relationship with God. It is not based on our performance but on Christ’s finished work on the cross. Because of this, we can approach God with confidence, knowing that we are fully accepted and loved. This peace transforms how we live, giving us the assurance that we are forever secure in God’s grace.

As believers, we are no longer at odds with God; we are His children, embraced by His love. This peace is the foundation of our faith, allowing us to walk through life with confidence, hope, and joy, knowing that our relationship with God is secure.
