• OBEDIENCE THE GREATEST REQUIREMENT!

This is one of the hardest moments in Saul’s life. Not because Yahuah stopped loving him. Not because Saul was suddenly evil.
But because DISOBEDIENCE HAD FINALLY BEEN NAMED FOR WHAT IT WAS.

SAUL DID NOT WAKE UP PLANNING TO REBEL.

That matters. In both moments, in Gilgal and with Amalek, SAUL BELIEVED HE WAS BEING REASONABLE. He saw pressure. He saw fear in the people. He saw opportunity and risk and delay. And INSTEAD OF WAITING ON YAHUAH’S INSTRUCTION FULLY, HE ACTED.

Just a little ahead. Just a little altered. Just enough to feel justified. THAT IS HOW DISOBEDIENCE OFTEN ENTERS.

In 1 Samuel 13, Saul offered the sacrifice himself because Samuel delayed. The people were scattering. Fear was rising. SAUL DECIDED THAT ACTION WAS BETTER THAN OBEDIENCE DELAYED.

But Torah OBEDIENCE IS NOT DRIVEN BY PANIC. IT IS DRIVEN BY TRUST.

SAUL STEPPED INTO A ROLE THAT WAS NOT HIS TO TAKE. Not because he hated Yahuah, but because he feared losing control more than he feared stepping outside instruction.

Then came Amalek. YAHUAH’S COMMAND WAS CLEAR. COMPLETE OBEDIENCE. No partial victories. NO EXCEPTIONS SHAPED BY HUMAN REASONING. Saul won the battle, but he kept what Yahuah said to remove. He spared Agag. He kept the best of the animals. And when confronted, he defended himself. “I did obey.” “The people wanted this.” “This is for sacrifice.”

Samuel’s GRIEF IS HEAVY here. NOT ANGER FIRST. GRIEF. Because Saul still did not understand.

OBEDIENCE IS NOT ABOUT INTENTION. IT IS ABOUT SUBMISSION.

Samuel’s words cut through every excuse. “TO OBEY IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE.”

    Not because sacrifice is meaningless.
But because SACRIFICE WITHOUT OBEDIENCE IS EMPTY.

This image captures the weight of that moment so well. Samuel’s hand gripping Saul’s robe. Saul’s head bowed, not in repentance yet, but in realization. Authority is slipping. NOT BECAUSE YAHUAH IS HARSH, BUT BECAUSE SAUL NO LONGER TRUSTED HIM FULLY.

And here is the part that always humbles us.
SAUL STILL WANTED TO BE HONORED BEFORE THE PEOPLE. Even after correction.
    Even after rejection was spoken.

That reveals the deeper issue. SAUL FEARED PEOPLE MORE THAN YAHUAH.
And that fear would keep repeating until the end.

This is not written to shame Saul. It is written to warn us. Because DISOBEDIENCE OFTEN WEARS THE CLOTHES OF GOOD INTENTION. It often sounds spiritual. It often claims sacrifice as justification.

But YAHUAH DESIRES OBEDIENCE ROOTED IN TRUST, NOT OFFERINGS ROOTED IN FEAR.

YAHUSHA STANDS IN PERFECT CONTRAST HERE. Where Saul rushed, Yahusha waited.
Where Saul defended himself, Yahusha submitted. Where Saul feared losing position, Yahusha emptied Himself.

YAHUSHA OBEYED FULLY, EVEN WHEN OBEDIENCE LED TO SUFFERING. EVEN WHEN OBEDIENCE COST EVERYTHING. AND BECAUSE OF THAT, HIS KINGSHIP WAS NEVER TAKEN.

Saul’s story reminds us that CALLING DOES NOT SUSTAIN ITSELF.
ANOINTING DOES NOT PROTECT US FROM CORRECTION.
    AUTHORITY DOES NOT REPLACE OBEDIENCE.

And Yahuah is faithful enough to confront what will eventually destroy us if left unchecked.

This moment is heavy because it did not have to end this way. Saul was chosen. Equipped. Given every opportunity to succeed. But OBEDIENCE REQUIRES CONTINUAL SURRENDER, not a single moment of humility.

Where have we acted out of fear instead of trust?
Where have we justified partial obedience?
Where have we cared more about being seen as right than being aligned with Yahuah?

YAHUAH DOES NOT DELIGHT IN REJECTION.
HE DELIGHTS IN OBEDIENCE THAT FLOWS FROM TRUST. And WHEN HE CORRECTS, it is always because HE SEES THE END of the path we are walking.

SAUL’S CROWN BEGAN TO SLIP AWAY. NOT BECAUSE YAHUAH CHANGED. BUT BECAUSE SAUL STOPPED LISTENING!

  • PART 2
(if you haven't read part 1, go back and read part 1)

most abused and twisted doctrines in the modern church.
Let’s now go line by line into that argument:
“If you give tithes, God will rebuke the devourer.”
    This is usually quoted from:
    Malachi 3:10-11 (KJV)
“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house,
and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts,
if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing,
that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes…”
    Contextual Deep Lens Breakdown
    WHO is God speaking to?
    • The book of Malachi is a rebuke to the Levitical priests of Israel, not to Gentile believers in 2024.
    • See Malachi 2:1 – “And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.”
    They were:
    • Robbing Yahuah by keeping the offerings, not giving them to the storehouse (Levites and the poor).
    • Offering blemished sacrifices.
    • Abusing their priestly office for selfish gain.
So Malachi 3 is not a command for churchgoers today—it is a rebuke to corrupt priests under the Mosaic Covenant.
    WHAT is the "devourer"?
    In that agrarian economy:
    • The “devourer” referred to locusts, drought, pests, or failed crops.
    • The tithe was literal food, not money.
    • Yah was saying: if you obey and honor Me, I will protect your land and harvest.
    In other words:
This was a national agricultural promise to Israel, under the Old Covenant, and dependent on covenant obedience.
    MODERN MISUSE: Prosperity Witchcraft
    Today’s pastors say:
“Give your 10% or God won’t bless your finances. You’ll be cursed. The devourer will eat your salary.”
This is false doctrine and spiritual manipulation.
It uses fear of curses to extort money. It creates a transactional faith, like Babylonian sorcery:
“You pay the gods, and they keep demons away.”
This is not the Gospel of Yahusha.
UNDER YAHUSHA: THE DEVOURER HAS NO LEGAL RIGHT
    In Messiah:
    • We are no longer under the Levitical curse system.
    • Yahusha has already rebuked the devourer by disarming principalities at the cross (Colossians 2:15).
    • Satan only has legal access where there is sin, unbelief, or covenant breaking.
You don’t pay Yahuah to protect you. You walk in obedience, faith, and love, and He defends you as your Father, not as a loan shark.
    LOGICAL DEEP LENS QUESTION:
If a poor widow cannot give 10%, does that mean the devourer will destroy her life?
If someone gives 10% to a corrupt church that misuses it, is that “obeying God”?
If Yah only protects based on payment, is He different from a mob boss?
→ This shows how the doctrine is blasphemous, not just wrong.
    WHAT TO DO INSTEAD:
    • Give as the Spirit leads, not under pressure.
    • Share directly with widows, orphans, strangers (Deuteronomy 14:28-29).
    • If you're in a spiritual community, contribute to its needs, not its greed.
    • Trust Yahuah to rebuke every devourer through your obedience, purity, prayer, and generosity, not percentage.
    CONCLUSION — DEEP LENS VERDICT:

Yahuah wants sons and daughters—not customers.

  • PART 1

tithing has been twisted in modern times to enslave rather than liberate. Let's go deeply, through the deep lens, into the original command, the distortions, and what Yahuah truly desires today.

    1. ORIGINAL TITHE (MA’ASER) – TORAH CONTEXT
“Tithe” means 10%, but let’s unpack it according to Torah, not church tradition.
    Key Verses:
    • Leviticus 27:30 – “A tithe of everything from the land… belongs to Yahuah.”
    • Numbers 18:21-24 – The tithe was given to the Levites, who had no land inheritance.
    • Deuteronomy 14:22–29 – Tithes were also used for:
    • Feasts (consumed by the giver and family before Yahuah),
    • The poor, the widow, the orphan, and the stranger.

    Key Details:
    • There were 3 types of tithes, rotating over a 7-year cycle:
    • Levitical tithe (support for priests)
    • Festival tithe (used during feasts, eaten by the giver)
    • Poor tithe (given to those in need every 3rd year)

    Tithes were:
    • Always agricultural (food, grain, oil, livestock—not money).
    • Tied to the land of Israel.
    • For the support of a theocratic priesthood (Levites), not modern pastors.

    2. MODERN CHURCH TITHE – A BABYLONIAN DISTORTION
Today’s tithing system is unbiblical and often occultic in root:
    Red Flags:
    • Preachers demand 10% of your salary.
    • Tithing is linked to blessings, or curses if you don’t give.
    • People are guilted or shamed, saying “you’re robbing God” (Malachi 3:8).
    But this verse was:
Spoken to priests of Israel, not Gentile believers under grace. Malachi 1–3 rebukes corrupt Levitical priests, not laypeople.

    Hidden History:
    • The idea of a monetary tithe began when Rome institutionalized Christianity.
    • The Catholic Church adopted tithe laws to finance its empire—this was not based on Torah but feudal tax systems.
    • Later, Protestant pastors continued it, using it to build denominations and empires, not care for widows and the poor.

    3. NEW COVENANT — GIVING IN THE SPIRIT
    Yahusha never commanded a tithe:
He rebuked Pharisees for tithing mint and neglecting mercy (Matthew 23:23).
“You tithe... but neglect justice, mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.”

    Paul never commands a tithe:
2 Corinthians 9:7 – “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for Yahuah loves a cheerful giver.”

    Acts 2:44–45:
“They sold their possessions… and gave to anyone who had need.”
    In the early assembly:
    • All things were shared—not by law, but by love.
    • Giving was spirit-led, not formula-based.
    • The poor, widows, orphans, and true apostles were supported—not mega-churches or luxury lifestyles.

    4. DEEP LENS CONNECTION — TITHE, CONTROL, AND BABYLON

Today’s tithing system = Priestly Control + Financial Sorcery
    • It mimics Catholicism and Babylonian priest-kings.
    • Churches demand money as a replacement for the temple tax.
    • Many pastors operate as modern Levites, even though they are not from the Levitical line, and the temple is gone.
    It plays into Mystery Babylon:
    • Tithing becomes a form of ritual payment—as if God’s favor can be bought.
    • Instead of free will giving to uplift the poor, it's institutionalized to fund religious businesses.

    5. WHAT DOES YAHUAH DESIRE TODAY?
Micah 6:8 – “He has shown you, O man, what is good: to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”

    Today, Yahuah desires:
Give freely As you are led by the Spirit
Provide for the poor Widows, orphans, strangers
Support true workers Those laboring righteously for the Kingdom
    Live generouslyNot legalistically

He desires your heart, not your percentage. The Torah tithe has been fulfilled in Messiah—what remains is the law of love.

    CONCLUSION — Deep Lens Verdict:
Tithing as a legal obligation is not required under Yahusha.
Giving is a Spirit-led act of love, not law.
Enforcing tithes today is part of Babylon’s counterfeit priesthood.
You are free to give generously—but not enslaved by numbers.

  • The Text
"Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your Name, drive out demons in Your Name, and perform many miracles in Your Name?’ Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness.’" — Matthew 7:21–23
    1. The Key Issue is Relationship, Not Performance
    • "I never knew you" — In Hebrew thought, to know someone implies covenant intimacy.
Just as Adam knew Eve and produced fruit, so knowing Yahusha means being in a living covenant that produces the fruit of obedience (John 15:5–6).
    • These people used His Name as a spiritual authority, but they were not submitted to His Lordship.
    • They treated His Name like a power tool, but without the owner’s permission.
    2. Miracles are not proof of righteousness
    • Yah can allow miraculous acts through His Name for the sake of others’ faith, even if the vessel is corrupt (Numbers 20:10–12 – Moses struck the rock wrongly yet water still flowed).
    • The gifts of the Spirit are irrevocable (Romans 11:29) — meaning someone can keep operating in them even after their heart turns cold.
    • Satan can also counterfeit signs (2 Thessalonians 2:9; Revelation 13:13–14), so miracles alone don’t prove a true walk.
    3. The Hidden Legal Reason
    From a heavenly courtroom perspective:
    • They are called "workers of lawlessness" — Greek anomia, meaning without Torah (God’s instructions).
    • Even though they invoked His Name, they broke His covenant laws and lived in rebellion.
    • In court terms, they were operating without license; they invoked the King’s authority but did not serve under His government.
    4. The Prophetic Warning for the End Times
    • This is a prophecy about false revivalists and charismatic deceivers in the last days who perform wonders but teach rebellion (Deuteronomy 13:1–5).
    • It aligns with Matthew 24:24 — “false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”
    • Many will mistake spiritual fireworks for spiritual fruit, but Yahusha weighs obedience, truth, and holiness.
    Conclusion:
They will be rejected not because miracles are wrong, but because miracles without obedience are lawless acts. Yahusha wants sons and daughters, not spiritual mercenaries. The ultimate test will not be, “Did you perform in My Name?” but, “Did you live in covenant with Me and do the will of My Father?”

I believe it is a sin to use any name other than their true names.

  • If you ever run into a sacred namer/hebrew roots believer who says you must use the name of Yahuah or Yahusha instead of Jesus, tell them "you dont even have the correct language to the name."
I prove it overwhelmingly here at https://sacrednamer.blogspot.com
Jews lost their original paleo language in the 70 year captivity and was forced to take on the aramaic of the babylonians. The hebrew they took back with them from captivity is not even a language related to the original paleo, which was actually Greek, as my charts show, 19 out of 22 letters of their alphabet are the same or reversed and the same. Linguistic scholars know this well.
If you ever run into a sacred namer/hebrew roots believer who says you must use the name of Yahuah or Yahusha instead of Jesus, tell them "you dont even have the correct language to the name." • Yahusha/Jesus Is Our Atonement
Yahusha is our Saviour. He is our Christ an our King. He is both of the goats presented before YAH.
He is the sacrifice for sins, and He is the atonement.
Before the scapegoat was released into the wilderness, the high-priest would place both hands on his head and repeat all the sins and iniquities of Israel as if he was placing them all on the goat itself.
Yahusha is the only one who could ever make an atonement for our sins, and repair the broken connection to YAH because He is perfect and free of sin and blemish.
Yahusha carried all of our sins and took them so that we may be presented cleansed before YAH. He has redeemed the whole world, and reconciled us back to YAH The Father.
He is our Day Of Atonement. This Day Of Atonement let us pray, worship, and praise all this day to our Messiah and our God, and remember what He has done for us on the cross that day.
Remember the sacrifice He has made for us, to bring us back into the Father YAH. Love and forgive each other, and fast for further repentance of sins, constantly striving to be perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect.
