SAUL STEPPED INTO A ROLE THAT WAS NOT HIS TO TAKE. Not because he hated Yahuah, but because he feared losing control more than he feared stepping outside instruction.
Then came Amalek. YAHUAH’S COMMAND WAS CLEAR. COMPLETE OBEDIENCE. No partial victories. NO EXCEPTIONS SHAPED BY HUMAN REASONING. Saul won the battle, but he kept what Yahuah said to remove. He spared Agag. He kept the best of the animals. And when confronted, he defended himself. “I did obey.” “The people wanted this.” “This is for sacrifice.”

Where have we cared more about being seen as right than being aligned with Yahuah?
